Terrible Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Unprofessional and Threatening Letters, Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Leonard's. I ordered some stuff and got it, but then I started getting these letters saying I hadn't paid and they were gonna mess up my credit and stuff. But like, I had paid! I checked my bank account and everything. And when I called customer service, they didn't really help me out. They said one payment went through but the other one didn't, even though they both cleared my bank. And now it's been a whole month and I still don't know what's going on. I tried emailing them too, but no response. It's just so frustrating, you know? Like, how am I supposed to know what I owe if they won't even tell me? And the letters they sent were so threatening and unprofessional. I'm definitely not gonna deal with them again.
Dr. Leonard's Sells Personal Info: A Warning to Consumers
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Dr. Leonard's. I made the mistake of ordering something from them once, and now my mailbox is overflowing with catalogs from all sorts of other companies. Harriett Carter, Starcrest of California, Worldwide Herbals, Heartland of America - you name it, I've gotten a catalog from them.
I called up Starcrest to ask how they got my info, and they told me it came from Dr. Leonard's. So I did a little digging and found out that they use some company called "Exact Data" to sell off people's names and addresses to other companies. Can you believe that? They're making money off of selling our personal info!
I even called up Exact Data myself, just to see what they had to say. And you know what? They gave me a bunch of quotes for different lists of names and addresses. It's like they don't even care about our privacy.
Anyway, I've had to spend a bunch of time calling up all these other companies to get my name and address taken off their mailing lists. It's a real pain in the you-know-what. So if you don't want to end up drowning in a sea of cheap, crappy catalogs, I'd steer clear of Dr. Leonard's. They don't care about you - they just want to make a quick buck off of your personal info.
Poor Customer Service Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Defective Slippers and Refund Issues
I've been a customer of Dr. Leonard's for years and never had any issues until recently. I ordered two pairs of house slippers in March 2020, but when the package arrived, I noticed that one pair was the wrong size. I tried to contact customer service within the 30-day window, but due to the Covid virus, they were closed and I couldn't get through. I didn't want to wait any longer, so I used the "Smart Label" to return the defective slippers with a note explaining the problem and my inability to contact anyone.
I thought getting a refund would be a breeze since the slippers were clearly defective, but it took almost a month to receive an email from Dr. Leonard's stating that they received the slippers and would only refund me $0.82 because I used their "smart label." I was outraged by this response and sent another email explaining the situation, but it's been another month, and I still haven't heard back from them.
It's disappointing to see a company treat their customers this way, especially during a difficult time like the Covid pandemic. I hope Dr. Leonard's can improve their customer service and make things right for their loyal customers.
Poor Customer Service Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Rude Representatives and Delayed Refund
I had a bit of a rough experience with Dr. Leonard's recently. I had to call customer service to check on the status of my return, and the representative I spoke with just kept repeating what she saw in her system. I tried to explain that the USPS service was showing that my package had been delivered, but she couldn't answer any of my questions and just kept repeating herself. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, but she refused me three times and became quite rude. When I told her I was going to file a complaint, she just stopped talking altogether.
I was pretty frustrated at this point, but I decided to call back and try again. The next representative I spoke with was much more helpful. She quickly looked up my information and told me that my refund was being processed and would be added within two weeks. At first, she said it wasn't showing up as returned in their system, but then a minute later it was suddenly being processed. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about that.
Overall, I wasn't too impressed with Dr. Leonard's. The shipping method was pretty terrible and it took way too long to receive my orders. And while some of the customer service representatives were professional, others were quite rude and unhelpful. I don't think I'll be giving them my business again anytime soon.
Disappointing Experience at Dr. Leonard's: Poor Customer Service and Damaged Products
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Dr. Leonard's. I mean, sure, they don't add sales tax for Pennsylvania residents, but that just means you gotta deal with the IRS later on. Who wants to deal with that kind of hassle? Not me, that's for sure. And don't even get me started on their customer service. I swear, the person I talked to was in some foreign country or something. They kept trying to get me to buy some kind of membership, even though I told them I didn't have time for that kind of thing because of my medical issues. It was like they weren't even listening to me.
Anyway, I ended up ordering some solar curtains from them, and boy was that a mistake. When they arrived, they were all folded up and had these ugly creases all over them. And to make matters worse, the film was damaged along those creases, so you could see sunlight coming through. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I was planning on using them for my business windows, but now I gotta find some other use for them.
Honestly, I don't think I'll be shopping at Dr. Leonard's again. There are plenty of other places where I can get the same stuff without all the hassle. Boscov's, Ollies, you name it. Lesson learned, I guess.
Terrible Sizing and Customer Service: My Experience with Dr. Leonard's
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Dr. Leonard's. I was trying to find the right size shoe, so I ordered four different sizes of the same stock number. Finally, I found a pair that fit and ordered two more pairs of the same stock number. But guess what? They were different again! Every time I order, they change the sizing. It's impossible to order the same size twice and have it fit the same way.
And don't even get me started on their "Customer Service." I could barely understand the person on the other end of the line, and I'm pretty sure they couldn't understand me either. When I complained about the $7.99 shipping charge to return three pairs of shoes, the guy told me not to worry because they would charge me $9.99 instead. Like that's supposed to make me feel better about returning something!
Honestly, it's a waste of time and money to try to work with this company. The only thing I liked about them were the shoes I bought, but I wish I could find them somewhere else. And to make matters worse, their sister company Carol Wright is just as terrible to do business with. They both use foreign people to answer their phones, and it's a struggle to communicate with them.
Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Leonard's or Carol Wright to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle.
Beware of Dr. Leonard's: Scammers and Crooks in Disguise
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Dr. Leonard's. I mean, they call themselves a doctor, but they're really just a bunch of scammers. They're based in China, but they try to make it seem like they're in the USA with an address in NJ and a phone number that starts with ***900. But don't be fooled, they're just a bunch of crooks and frauds.
I ordered three items from them back in February and paid extra for expedited shipping. But after 11 days, they told me they didn't have two of the items and were only going to ship one. And get this, they charged me the same shipping cost as if I had ordered all three items! And they charged my credit card before they even shipped it out.
The tracking number they gave me on their website and on FedEx only shows that a label was created on February 5th, but they haven't actually given the package to FedEx yet. And there's no estimated delivery date. So I asked to cancel my order, but they refused. They told me to wait until I received the item and then return it for a credit, but I would have to pay for return shipping and they would deduct the original shipping cost. What a bunch of BS!
I asked for proof that they actually shipped the item on February 5th, but they didn't have any. Luckily, I contacted my credit card company and they're going to refund my money. And I made sure to ask them to block Dr. Leonard's from charging me again in the future. You should do the same if you ever have to deal with these scammers.
It's no wonder they take so long to ship things out. They're just waiting for the items to come from China before they redirect them to you. Dr. Leonard's is really just another version of TMART, but with a fancier name to try to trick you into thinking they're legit. And get this, they do business under 16 different names! In 2020, they made about $72 million off of people like us. Don't be one of them.
Dr. Leonard's: Advertising Products They Don't Have in Stock and Poor Quality Items
I recently made an order on Dr. Leonard's website on 11/18/19, and I have to say, I am not impressed with my experience. I ordered two items, black moccasins size Lg and buffalo check clogs size 9, both for $9.99 each. I was excited to see that I got a promo discount for $3.00, which brought the cost of each item down to $8.49. However, my excitement quickly faded when I saw that they added $6.99 for shipping and $1.95 for handling charges to my order.
After placing my order, I received an email saying that they shipped the moccasins, but unfortunately, the clogs were back-ordered and wouldn't be in stock until 11/29/19. I was disappointed, but I decided to wait it out. However, the back-ordered in stock date for the clogs kept changing, and today, on 12/6/19, it's now 12/13/19.
I'm frustrated because if I had known that the clogs were not in stock when I placed my order, I wouldn't have bothered ordering at all. It's clear that Dr. Leonard's is advertising products that they don't have in stock or don't even know when they will have it in stock. They took my order without notifying me that the item was out of stock, which caused the price of the items I did receive to be more expensive when you add the shipping and handling charges.
To make matters worse, the moccasins I received are of poor quality and not worth the $17.43 I paid for them. I could have gotten better quality moccasins anywhere for less money. The buffalo check clogs are what I really wanted, and who knows if I may or may not get them since the back-ordered in stock date keeps changing.
It's frustrating that the clogs were advertised on their website and in their catalogs as a set with a scarf, but when I placed my order, there was no warning that the clogs were not in stock. I'm still waiting for the buffalo check clogs size 9, and I'm not sure if I'll ever receive them.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend doing business with Dr. Leonard's. They advertise products that they don't have in stock or don't know when they will have it in stock. They take your order without notifying you that the item is out of stock, and the quality of the products I received is poor. Save yourself the time and frustration and do business with a company that lets you know if an item is out of stock when you place your order.
Dr. Leonard's Review: Overcharging, Poor Customer Service, and Inconsistent Availability of Products
I recently had an experience with Dr. Leonard's and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I found that the item I ordered was frequently "sold out" even though it was still listed in several subsequent catalogs. To make matters worse, they overcharge on bras all the time and blame technology when it's conveniently in their favor. When I reached out to them about this issue, they were quick to offer a refund check. However, unless you call them several times, the amount per product will not be correct, and they will not refund any shipping charges or taxes paid on products you do not receive.
What's even more frustrating is that they don't tell you that you need to contact them to make sure an item is available in the first place. It seems like they don't care about their customers at all. I think they should offer a "suitable replacement" check-box like more reputable companies that give a care about their customers. Also, clearance items can't even be returned no matter how weirdly they fit. For example, I ordered jeans that were enormous in the front, which was awkward for me as a woman. I tried to request replacements several times, but it was not until I finally was transferred to a finance lady here in the U.S. that even that could be arranged.
Once, they claimed not to be able to read my perfectly legible handwriting and failed to send a dress I had hoped for as a birthday present. Not only did it get canceled, but they tried to charge even more for the bra. Since I had to argue that tiny 2 item order, it came out after all the fees levied to be a practically twenty dollar bra instead of the promised 6.99 just a cloth comfort wear to bed one at that.
The shirts are nice, but I had to fight to get the buy2get3rd free deal honored because they were out of one choice. A male rep with an Asian accent said I was denied a third at all, no leggings, and just to accept that. Finally, a competent woman, a different woman representative, connected me to resolved the issue by sending a different color of a shirt I liked [of equal value] in place of the leggings and another bra for the tacked-on shipping charge when they didn't accept their free code on the magazine.
Be warned, they prioritize card purchases over the phone to mail-in and may not be respectful the first few times you call in attempt to rectify the situation. I bet they are hoping older folks and lazy people will just give up and allow the loss! The cozy corner front-close bras are great, but what they won't tell you is those are made in China and tops in India, so it's just about the record profits anyhow like all other sold-out companies.
Dr. Leonard's Catalog: Be Careful When They Mess Up Your Order
I've been ordering stuff from Dr. Leonard's catalog for a long time now and most of the time, I don't have any problems with my orders. But just recently, I ordered a sofa saver and dryer balls from them. When the package arrived, I only got the sofa saver. I called their customer service hotline to ask about the dryer balls and I was put on hold for what they said was just 1 or 2 minutes, but it turned out to be more like 5 or 6 minutes. When I finally got to talk to someone, I told them that I didn't receive the dryer balls and asked if they were being shipped separately. The person on the other end asked me if I was sure that they weren't included in the package. I told her that I wasn't blind and that I could see that they weren't there. I also told her that I wasn't the type of person who would cheat businesses over something as small as dryer balls. She said that she would put in an order for them to be resent.
The next day, I checked my credit card statement and saw that they had debited my card for $2.90. I called them again and was told that the price was different from what it was when I ordered them. I spent 20 minutes explaining that it wasn't my mistake and that I refused to pay more for them. The person on the other end kept insisting that the original price was incorrect when I placed my order. I reminded her that it was their error, not mine, and that I wouldn't pay extra. I had a receipt from them with the price less a 15% discount. They were supposed to be expedited to me in 2-3 days without this charge. However, the next day, I found another charge of $0.90 on my card. I called them again to ask why there was another charge since I had already paid upfront for the items. I told them that I wouldn't be paying anything additional. I ended up speaking with a "supervisor" who said she would refund the $0.90 but that it would take 5-7 days. She couldn't tell me what the $0.90 charge was for, so I asked her if this was what they do to customers who are trying to get them to correct their mistakes. I asked the "supervisor" if this was my penalty for letting them know they made a mistake by not including the full order. I also let her know that I was expecting a refund for both the amounts taken without my express permission and that I didn't want to wait 5-7 days for a refund as it only took them 1 day to take the funds from my card. I asked them to remove me from their catalog mailing list, but today I received another one of their catalogs.
All I can say now is that you should be careful if you order from them and they mess up your order. You might end up paying for each time that you contact them to get their mistake corrected.
Dr. Leonard's Complaints 13
Ordered clock from catalog but never received it.
Ordered Atomic Analog Wall Clock, catalog item number 120855 on April 4, 2023. Sent check for this item. Have not received the clock nor have I received any correspondence concerning this item. Apparently, calling the listed phone number just puts you into a time limbo. They claim to be organizing and ask to have me call back next week. Problem is, this message has been on the answering machine for at least a couple month now.
Desired outcome: Deliver item that I paid for or send me a refund of $39.99
Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Experience with Dr. Leonard's - Zero Out of Five Rating
I recently ordered an item from Dr. Leonard's website (drleonards.com) on May 26th. The item was in stock and I was excited to receive it. However, when I checked the tracking information on May 27th, it showed that the package had not been delivered for shipment to McDonough, GA, which is only 15 miles from my home. I was confused and frustrated, so I decided to contact customer service.
Unfortunately, the customer service experience was not pleasant. The representative I spoke with had a very thick accent and the noise in the background was so loud that I could barely hear her. She asked me for my order number three times, even though I provided it very slowly and clearly. It was a very incoherent conversation and I was left feeling even more frustrated than before.
To make matters worse, the offshore customer service agent told me that the package was on its way and that I should expect it in 7-10 days. This was unacceptable to me, as I had already been waiting for several days and the package was supposed to be shipped to a location only 15 miles away. I was very disappointed with the customer service experience and felt like I had wasted my time and money.
Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Leonard's to anyone. The customer service was terrible and the shipping experience was very frustrating. If I had known that I would have such a bad experience, I would have purchased the item on Amazon instead. In my opinion, Dr. Leonard's deserves a zero out of five rating for their poor service.
Disappointing Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Poor Communication and Unfulfilled Order
I recently ordered the Elite Ear Sound Amplifier from Dr. Leonard's website, drleonards.com. I sent a check in full payment for the item, but unfortunately, I never received any confirmation or order number from them. I was left in the dark about the status of my order.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to call their customer service hotline at 1-800#. However, the man who answered the phone spoke in such poor English that I couldn't understand a word he said. It was a struggle to communicate with him, and I felt like I was getting nowhere.
Determined to get some answers, I turned to their live chat support. It took them a while to locate my order, but eventually, they informed me that the item I ordered was no longer available. I was shocked to hear this, especially since they had already cashed my check without informing me of any issues.
Thankfully, a kind lady named Linda assured me that I would receive a refund within 10 business days. I'm still waiting for my money back, but I'll update this review in two weeks if I don't receive it. However, I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with Dr. Leonard's and their lack of communication. I won't be ordering from them again.

Dr. Leonard's Website is a Total Rip-Off: A Warning to All Buyers
Dr. Leonard's website, drleonards.com, is a total rip-off! They lure you in with the promise of "FREE SHIPPING" in their "Perks" program, but it's nothing more than a SCAM. I mean, seriously, who falls for that? I sure did, and I regret it. If I could give them a negative 10-star review, I would!
Their overall rating is only 1.5 stars, and there's a good reason for that. They knowingly rip people off. Their "support" is located overseas, and they have trouble speaking English. It's frustrating to try to communicate with them. And when you try to get off their scam list, they tell you to call another number, which means waiting for another 25 minutes just to speak to someone else.
It's a total RIP OFF and a SCAM. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from them. They have a "Perks" program that supposedly saves you 10%, but it's just another way for them to charge you $14.95 a month. Don't fall for it! BUYER BEWARE!
Poor Customer Service Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Delayed Return Label and Long Wait Time on Hold
So, I got this thing for my mom from Dr. Leonard's, but it wasn't quite right, so I needed to return it. The invoice said to peel off the return label on the back, but there wasn't one there. I called them up and had to wait on hold for like 20 minutes before I finally got to talk to a guy. He took down all my info and said to check my email in the next hour or so for the return label. I waited and waited, but no email came. So, I called back and this time I got a lady who checked on everything and told me it could take 24-48 hours to get the email. I mean, seriously? That's just ridiculous. I'm really disappointed in this company's customer service. My mom always buys stuff from them, but I don't think I'll be shopping here again.
Disappointing Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Unwanted Membership & Poor Customer Service
I recently made a purchase from Dr. Leonard's and I must say that I am quite pleased with the items I received. However, I did notice that they continued to charge me even after I had paid in full. It turns out that this was for some kind of membership program that I never even signed up for. I was assured that the membership had been cancelled and that I would receive a refund. While I did receive a refund, it was not for the correct amount.
Since then, I have been getting the runaround from different departments, each telling me that I need to speak to the other. This is incredibly frustrating and I feel like I am being given the runaround. I have decided that I will never order from this company again and I plan on telling everyone I know about my experience.
It's ridiculous that this review is asking me to rate them. I choose to give them no stars at all. However, it seems that the system won't allow me to do that. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Leonard's and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Dr. Leonard's: Poor Quality Products and Dishonest Customer Service
I recently made a purchase at Dr. Leonard's website, drleonards.com, for two dog gates. The price was 76,00 bucks, which I thought was a fair deal. However, when I went back to buy another gate before receiving my first shipment, I found out that the item was no longer available. To make matters worse, all the reviews were negative, with everyone saying that the gates were a piece of junk!
Feeling disappointed and frustrated, I decided to call customer service to see if I could return the gates once I received them. I was told to write NRP on the top right corner of the return label, which supposedly meant "NO RETURN POSTAGE needed." However, when I went to the post office, they laughed at me and said that wasn't a valid way to return a package.
I called customer service again, and this time, I was told that I needed to pay for the return postage myself. They promised to reimburse me the $54.00 fee, but I was skeptical. Unfortunately, my doubts were confirmed when I received my refund and saw that they had only refunded me $22.00! I felt cheated and scammed by these crooks.
Overall, my experience with Dr. Leonard's was a complete disaster. Not only did I receive a product that was of poor quality, but their customer service was unhelpful and dishonest. I would not recommend this website to anyone and will never shop there again.
Disappointing Online Shopping Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Issues with Credit Plan and Ordering Process
So, I got this book from Dr. Leonard's and I gotta say, I was pretty excited to check it out. But when I tried to order it online, I ran into some issues. I had pre-approved credit through Shop Now Pay Later, which is the same credit I have with the Carol Wright catalogue. But when I went to pay, the credit plan wasn't an option. So I called the number on the website and boy, was that a hassle. They told me I had to place my order by phone if I wanted to use the credit plan. And if I wanted free shipping, my ebates rewards, and the 10% discount, I had to use a credit card. What a bummer.
I was really disappointed with the whole experience. I mean, they lost a $50 order because of this. And honestly, I don't think I'll be giving them a second chance. I can get the same stuff from Carol Wright, and I don't have to deal with all this nonsense. I'll just wait for them to offer free shipping again.
Overall, I think Dr. Leonard's needs to get their act together. It shouldn't be this difficult to order something online. And if they want to keep customers, they need to make it easier to use their credit plans. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make some changes.
Terrible Customer Service and Wrong Order: My Disappointing Experience with Dr. Leonard's
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Leonard's. I ordered a few things from their catalog, and one of the items they sent me was totally wrong. I had ordered a cover for my recliner, but they sent me a cover for a regular old chair. When I called to try and sort it out, they were super rude to me. They kept telling me that I had ordered the wrong thing, even though I knew for sure that I hadn't. I tried to explain it to them, but they just wouldn't listen. They even said that there might have been a language barrier, which I thought was pretty insulting.
I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they were just as rude as the person I had talked to before. They said the same thing - that it was my fault and that I had ordered the wrong thing. I was so frustrated and angry that I just told them I was going to send everything back. I don't want to give my money to a company that treats their customers like that.
Honestly, if I could give them zero stars, I would. It's just not worth it to deal with people who are so disrespectful and dismissive. I'm really disappointed in Dr. Leonard's, and I won't be ordering from them again.
Disappointing Experience with Dr. Leonard's: Poor Customer Service and Refund Issues
I bought some shoes from Dr. Leonard's website on October 31st, 2020. I was really excited to receive them, but when they arrived, I was disappointed to find out that they were not wide width shoes like I had ordered. I decided to return them, but unfortunately, I had to pay for the return postage myself because there was no return label provided. I ended up paying $25 for the shoes, plus postage and tax.
When I finally received my refund, I was shocked to see that I had only been refunded seven dollars! I immediately called the company to try and sort out the issue, but the customer service representative I spoke to was really snarky and unhelpful. I tried to remain calm and polite, but it was really frustrating to deal with someone who was so unprofessional.
The representative told me that my $25+ would be refunded back to my card within 7 to 10 business days, but I never saw a penny of it. I called back again to try and sort out the issue, but they refused to refund the amount I had paid. I explained that the $7 refund I had received only covered the postage, but the customer service representative just gave me the same "song and dance" as before.
I'm really disappointed with my experience with Dr. Leonard's and I don't think I'll ever do business with them again. It's frustrating to spend so much money on something that doesn't even fit properly, and then to have to deal with such unhelpful customer service representatives. I'll probably have to call back a third time and end up eating the cost, which is really frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Leonard's to anyone looking for wide width shoes.

I need this item delivered to me ASAP!
This service is not free!
These people here claim they have free shipping and stuff but it's not true! After you make your order and give them money they will charge some additional fees for shipping, some priority service and other stuff. So in the end you'll pay quite an amount of money. Beware! I don't know why they hide this information. The worst part is that they have tons of hidden fees and you will found out about them only after placing an order. What a scam this Dr. Leonard's is! Avoid!
