Dragon Heart Cattery breeder harassing me

Since I left my review of Dragon Heart Cattery, I have been being harassed and threatened by the breeder. I've had to block her phone number. I have never had such an awful experience.

Initially she told me she didn't know why the kitten had died, but she is now certain of the cause after I left my review here speculating it could have been HCM.

She has also published my private personal information here in violation of this site's terms of service and is threatening to sue me if I don't remove my review. After the way I have been treated, I will definitely not be taking down my review.

Perhaps she could have just asked me and explained the situation rather than publishing my private information, lashing out about what a horrible person I am and then threatening me.

Terri is a liar. That second email is altered to make her look better and me look worse. And you are obviously trying to do damage control. Slander me all you want, girls. I'm done here.

I happen to know that this cattery has had all of its cats tested for HCM. I've purchased 3 cats from the owner over the last 12 years. They have all been very healthy and the owner has been nothing but helpful and lovely to do business with. Not sure why the reviewer is so upset, since the person never actually owned the cat, nor was the person responsible for the medical bills for the cat. The way this business works is that you let the owner know which kitten you want, you put down a deposit and then wait for the kitten to be ready to move to its new home. This is not unusual at all. I can tell you that the owner has given me the joys of my life.

Dragon Heart Cattery kitten died

We put a deposit down for a kitten from Dragon Heart Cattery in Klamath Falls, OR. We had just recently lost our Ragdoll of 17 years. We were so excited you bring the new baby home. I hadn't done any research on the breeder before I put down the deposit but I guess I should have. I kind of felt weird that he was only $600 because all the other breeders I checked out were $1000 to $1200. $600 was the price in 2000. So anyway I felt nervous because he looked a little on the small size compared to the rest from his same litter. I did some research and found out that this breeder had had a problem with her kitties having HCM. Then I got really concerned. A couple weeks passed and I got an email that our little guy had passed away. The lady returned my deposit but my heart is sad. We were all looking forward to bringing him home. I guess at least we didn't have to go through what the other reviewer had to and actually get him home, form a bond and then lose him. I strongly suggest going to a different breeder even if they are further away. I will be traveling down to California and paying full price the next time I try to find our new fur baby. I'm so disappointed.

So you had a random HCM death in 2015 according to your website, then you credit a lady who's kitty died in 2016 for calling it to your attention? And then another discrepancy...you say two momma cats were carriers but there were three cats. One was a stud, and you had been breeding them for how many years? Since 2013? Two females and one male, the male whom you could not take to the vet to get tested for HCM because he attacked people and therefore you continued to breed him...The photos below are screen captures from your website, the other gal's complaint and then the person who commented ever so passive aggressively on her post.

First, I told you I was very sorry to hear about your husband. That's a horrible thing to go through. I went though the same thing with my mom. It went on for over 13 years. But that's not the issue here. You told me you had no idea why the kitty had died. That's why I speculated based on his size and my own past experience with Ragdolls and HCM. Also the other reviewer on here said that you told her you couldn't take the male to the vet to get tested because he attacked people and you were still using him as a stud. (Read other review and comment) You have a lot of conflicting information out there regarding the three, (not two) cats you got from another breeder which were all carriers of HCM according to the person who responded (very passive aggressively I might add) on the other gal's complaint from 2016. You state on your website that you discovered it when out of the blue, one kitten died because of HCM in 2015, yet you credit the lady who complained in 2016 for calling it to your attention? Really? You lashed out at me, telling me and other readers on here, what a horrible person I am, and then in private email you threaten to sue me if I don't remove my review. After the completely unprofessional way you have acted and hostile way you have treated treated me, I'm most definitely not removing anything I have written from this site. I have every right to post on here. I've never had such a horrible experience. And you posting my private email, was that another way to try to hurt me by sharing my private information? Thank you for that as well. You've been so great to deal with.

And now I'm being harassed by this breeder via email. This is interesting because after I put the deposit down and up until now, this lady was very hard to get a hold of. Ignored I'd say 80% of my messages. She seems to want to lecture me know but in her initial email letting me know the kitten had passed, she told me she didn't know why he passed and that she hadn't been paying attention to the kittens. That's why I was speculating based on my own experience with this heart problem with radgdoll cats and the other reviewer's experience with this breeder. She is being very unprofessional.

I am the breeder of the kitten that died. I am sorry for Selina Diehl . But this kitten buyer knows nothing about HCM. Both parents of this kitten that dies are HCM negative. The kitten died from something else but it was not HCM. The two cats that I did have that both carried the HCM gene on one side of their genetic make up were placed in pet homes and are no longer in my breeding program. Breeders have kittens die sometimes it's not uncommon. In this case I think it was probably Cocci. Which is a intestinal Parasite and not treated can cause death in small kittens. I have to admit I was having a hard time dealing with this litter of kittens as about three weeks ago my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer. My focus these last few weeks have been on him. He is not eating, he is vomiting, has dizzy spells, he has horrible headaches, and the anti-nausa medicines makes it all worse. He can not get around with out me. He has had to go into the hospital twice to get re-hydrated as he was not even able to hold down water let alone any kind of food. I'am a emotional wreck. My doctor thinks it may of spread to his brain. He had a CT scan yesterday 9-12-17 and is having a biopsy tomorrow 9-14-17. This women to file this petty complaint against me for a kitten dying, a kitten she hasn't even gotten yet is ridiculous. It is about the most horriable thing I think I have ever had happen to me. I explained to Sealna, what was going on with my husband in a e-mail, I refunded her deposit. I think she must be about the most un-caring and un-religious person on the face of this earth. I pray that she does not ever have to go thru a spouse dying in such a horriable manner. Anyone reeading this all I ask is that you say a prayer for Randy, he is a good man. He's only 58 years old. Here is my kitten buyers e-mail address: selina.denise@live.com

I purchased a kitten from Dragonheart. When I got him he looked small and not well. Not knowing what a 12 wk old Ragdoll kitten should look like I took him home. On the 2nd vet visit there was a heart murmur detected. I was told to take him to a Veterinary Cardiologist, I did. It turned out that he had HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy). While waiting for...
