It was a great pleasure to work with RV Wholesalers
It was a great pleasure to work with RV Wholesalers. They are very Christian based and always put the customer first.
I gotta say, the folks at RV Wholesalers treated me like kinfolk
I gotta say, the folks at RV Wholesalers treated me like kinfolk. From the day I started eyeballing my 2021 Toy Hauler to the day I scooped it up, they made the whole shebang smooth as butter... ***.
I live about 8 hours away from this dealer
I live about 8 hours away from this dealer. So, if I drove from Pa to Ohio to buy a camper from here, what does that tell ya? Great folks, quick service for livin' outta state. Guaranteed, when it's time for the upgrade, we'll be headin' back. Buy from Mitch. I talked to lotsa people at this dealership. Sure, they can all help ya out. But since I bought from Mitch? Go to him.
RV Wholesalers is probly the most honest, down to earth ethical people in the ** sales biz
RV Wholesalers is probly the most honest, down to earth ethical people in the *** sales biz. They are good for their word and I highly recommend them. They give the best prices with no rip off fees like other dealers and will always treat you fair. The owner, *** believes in his customers and their needs first. If you have any issues at all, you are always welcome to talk to him.
I used to enjoy going to Durnell's RV Sales, Inc dba RV Wholesalers
I used to enjoy going to Durnell's RV Sales, Inc dba RV Wholesalers. It was a nice and cozy place, but now it has a terrible smell of sewage and dead animals. The dead animals are there because of rats, and it seems like they haven't done a good job cleaning up after them. The customers are aware of this issue, and even the employees know about it. They try to brush it off as just a simple sewer problem, but the word spreads among the barbers and stylists. Their livelihood and ability to keep clients depend on it, not to mention their health. I won't be returning until they clean up the place thoroughly.
We got our first new RV from Durnell's (RV Wholesalers) in Ohio
We got our first new RV from Durnell's (RV Wholesalers) in Ohio. They hooked us up with a 2021 model of the RV we wanted for $5-$10K cheaper than anywhere else. About two weeks later, we found out that the grey tank was messed up. They sent out some RV techs to fix it and a few other small problems in the same week. The only downside is that their email replies can be slow sometimes, but I get it, 2020 was a busy year for RV sellers. I'd recommend this RV dealer to anyone who wants a sweet RV at a sweet price with good service.
I bought a new 2020 Wildwood Grand Lodge from RV Wholesalers
I bought a new 2020 Wildwood Grand Lodge from RV Wholesalers. I saw this model at our local RV show and saved almost $10,000 by buying from RV Wholesalers instead of local dealers, which included the delivery fee. My campground wasn't open right away this year because of the pandemic, and RV Wholesalers kept my unit for free until I could take delivery. I got my unit in mid May and I'm really happy! There were a couple small issues, but I contacted the Customer Service Advocate team and they fixed them quickly and completely. My experience was totally good from the sales team to the finance team to the customer service team. I really recommend RV Wholesalers and I'm glad I chose them to buy my new camper from.
We just bought our 2nd camper from this amazing biz!
We just bought our 2nd camper from this amazing biz! Drove over 6 hrs one way to buy from 'em. On our 1st camper, I got the owner's cell num and texted him a few times 'cause some stuff was missing, but he made sure we got it right away. Now with our 2nd camper, we took it on its 1st trip to check for any issues and there were a couple. I called Lynn and she walked me through some stuff over the phone, but had to call her back 'cause more stuff was goin' on. We had to take the camper to a local Forest River mechanic and leave it, but most things got fixed on the 1st day. The electric stabilizer on the back is messed up, so I called Susie and she told me what to do to send 'em everything to fix it. What an awesome team of ladies (and guys!) workin' for this AMAZIN' biz! We obviously LOVE this dealership 'cause we drive so far, and we've recommended it to lotsa people, includin' my boss! We're lookin' forward to many, many great years with "Piper," our Hyper lite, but when she's ready to retire, we'll come back here to get a replacement!
Ordered my RV in January - dealership was really friendly
Ordered my RV in January - dealership was really friendly. Picked up my RV on May 13 and was told I had to use a dealership for testing and inspection. My appointment was at noon, but everyone left and we were left waiting. Finally, around 2:00pm they started working on my unit. During the initial inspection, we found broken and missing parts that weren't working properly. They said they would mail the parts to me and send me to a dealership for repairs. Here are the issues with the RV that weren't checked or tested: 1. No propane in tanks, so how can the refrigerator, stove, or heater be tested? 2. Generator had no fuel, so it couldn't be tested either. 3. Broken hinge on the surround patio fencing. 4. Fuel door had a missing cylinder lock, so it couldn't be opened. 5. Weight for the faucet head fell off. 6. Happi-*** wasn't operating correctly. On the return trip, we couldn't use the RV because of the following issues: 7. Discovered a serious water leak when I added water to the fresh water tank. 8. Kitchen sink was leaking. 9. Kitchen backsplash fell off. 10. Floor protection strip on the stairs came off. When we arrived in *** on May 17, we waited at a crossroad for over 45 minutes to see if we would be sent to *** or ***, *** for repairs. Finally, the RV was dropped off at ***, *** for repairs, replacements, and warranty work on May 17, and it's still there.
I only wrote one other review in my life
I only wrote one other review in my life. The first was on RV wholesalers, and the second is for the same company. Why do I feel the need to write a second? Well, because the first one did not seem to generate any type of solution, besides anger from one of the owners. I will stick with the facts since my review have caused such an uproar from certain individuals at the company who called me and demanded that I take the review down. He said that the issues would be fixed if I took it down. I did let them know that I would take down the first unfavorable review after the issues were fixed. He asked to speak to my husband so that HE can take it down. (Apparently the being rude and talking to me like I was beneath him didn’t work.) Why is it still up? Well, because the issues have still not been fixed. In a nutshell: We bought a brand new sandpiper from RV Wholesalers in lakeview more than a year ago. We had problems from the very beginning and asked them to be taken care of. Fast forward over a year later, and not all of the issues were taken care of. We called, emailed, stopped out and emailed again. We kept getting the runaround from them. Eventually our warranty ran out. We called and explained that the issues were not fixed from the very beginning and should still be covered. Nope. We had also purchased an extended warranty. Great. Let’s use that. Nope. Not covered. Again, let me remind you that the issues were from the VERY beginning, and did not pop up after our warranties were over. Let’s jump to today. I have bypassed at this point, the salesman, the service reps, the warranty reps in hopes of getting our issues resolved. I went straight to the top, again, and have actually been trying to get “the top” to understand our situation since the end of last summer. The demand to have me remove the review I put up last year is still in his bag of tricks. His words were: take down the review, sign a paper that I will never write another bad review again, and he will get it fixed….you know, fix the problem that I have had from the VERY beginning. Apparently I am a five year old that has been bad and need to write “I will never give you a bad review again” just so they will come out and fix the original problem. It has also been stated that I will now need to lawyer up because I am going to be sued for a fictious review. Fact: I have literally posted facts based on the quality , or lack of quality, service, or lack of service, that I have been given. Fact: I have not slandered or threatened in any way. Fact: This could have all been avoided if he would have taken care of the issues in the first place and not talked over me, or only want to talk to my husband, since I am just a lowly woman with no brains in her head of her own. (I also sent him the definition of fictious just in case he had it confused with another word) adjective 1. not real or true, being imaginary or having been fabricated. So, to sum up. In MY OPINION (I must have that in there so that I am not accused of trying to coheres any of you not to shop at RV Wholesalers in Lakeview Ohio with my evil little brain) I FEEL (again, I don’t want you to follow me like loss little lambs) that they did not treat us with respect or abide by the warranties that we had in place. I FEEL like the issues should have been taken care of from the start and not over a year and a half later. I FEEL like we should not have had to beg and grovel to get some needed work done that was covered under our warranty. I FEEL like I should not have to come in and sign a letter stating that I will never ever again write a bad review in order to get the work done that was covered a year and a half later. Is there anything less than 1 star? I will give it that one.

On July 8, I bought a brand new travel trailer from RV Wholesalers, but I've encountered a couple of issues that I haven't been able to
On July 8, I bought a brand new travel trailer from RV Wholesalers, but I've encountered a couple of issues that I haven't been able to resolve. Firstly, I still haven't received the title for my vehicle. I've followed all the instructions given by RV Wholesalers, and I've had extensive communication with *** and ***. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to transfer ownership and register the vehicle, and there haven't been any updates on the situation. I'm just left waiting.
Secondly, the vehicle doesn't have a power switch for the tongue jack. On the day of purchase, July 8, before signing the paperwork, the service technician *** and I noticed that there was a missing extend/retract switch for the tongue jack. *** assured me not to worry and said that he would install one while I was completing the paperwork. However, after I signed the paperwork, he informed me that there was no switch available in the shop and that he would order one and send it to me. Unfortunately, *** never sent the switch.
I've been in contact with the *** at RV Wholesalers regarding this issue, but I still haven't received the switch. Mr. mentioned that if a switch wasn't available, they would send a replacement tongue jack that includes the switch. However, I'm still waiting and haven't received anything yet.
I was tryna buy a 2021 rock wood roo 23fk from Durnell's RV Sales, Inc dba RV Wholesalers
I was tryna buy a 2021 rock wood roo 23fk from Durnell's RV Sales, Inc dba RV Wholesalers. Talked to this guy Nathan who was sellin' it. We agreed on a price and then I got sent to this dude Dallas for the financing stuff. Dallas sent in the loan paperwork and the next day he called me up and told me what my interest rate was. He was still checkin' out other banks too. Then he asked me about gettin' an extended warranty, but I said no thanks. I put down a $1000 deposit to hold the camper and Dallas sent me this E sign document with all the financial info. On Monday, Dallas called me again and asked why I didn't want the extended warranty. I told him it was 'cause my interest rate was super high, but he said if I got the warranty, they could lower the interest rate by a whole percent. I still said no. He never mentioned that the specific model they sold me wasn't available anymore. I thought they were just finalizin' the paperwork. So today, on 1/29, I called 'em up and talked to Nathan. He said he was lookin' through the emails from the back office ladies and it turns out someone else signed their DocuSign on the same day as me, but theirs got processed first. So basically, they sold it twice. Nathan gave me the option of orderin' a new one that would be ready in a couple months or gettin' my deposit back. I asked if I ordered it, would I get a discount, and he said $500 off. I ended up askin' for my deposit back, but I still haven't gotten the paperwork by email. It just seems to me that with all this fancy technology, when a camper gets sold, it should automatically update in the computer system, but Nathan told me that ain't the case. Now I gotta deal with fixin' my credit report 'cause all them banks pulled my info.

A contract was signed and $1000 was put down on a deal to trade in our camper and buy a new camper from them
A contract was signed and $1000 was put down on a deal to trade in our camper and buy a new camper from them. The contract was wrote up and signed before it was discovered that the camper year and VIN number did not match (they didn’t bother to run the VIN number before writing the contract) 3 days later they called and told us that the camper we were trading in was two years older than what was on the contract and they were going to give us $4,500 less than agreed upon in the contract. We explained to them that we could not take that much of a loss and we could not continue with the deal. They have repeatedly refused to refund our $1000. I do not understand how they have the right to keep our money after a mistake was found in the agree upon contract. To my understanding that would void any contract that was signed.

On Sept 2, we went to rvwholesalers to buy an RV to travel in Nov of 2020 for vacation purposes
On Sept 2, we went to rvwholesalers to buy an RV to travel in Nov of 2020 for vacation purposes. We were specifically told we would get the RV in 6 to 8 weeks. We told the sales person that we would not be interested in purchasing the RV if it would take longer than 8 weeks to be delivered to us. We were assured it would be done in 6 to 8 weeks. Because of this, we placed a $1,000 down on an RV fully aware we were signing a contract where it stated there is no refund. However, we were lied to. About 6 weeks, later (mid Oct) we called to find out about the status of the RV. We were told it had not even gone to production and would not be built until Dec. If we would have been told this initially we would not have purchased the RV. We asked for our deposit back but was denied. We were falsely led to believe the RV could be delivered in our time frame so we would enter into this contract and therefore, this action on their part renders the contract null and void. We would like our $1,000 deposit returned to us. A good business does not lie to lure someone into signing a contract.

To whom it may concern, My name is [Redacted] On July 3rd, I attempted to purchase an RV with a certain company
To whom it may concern, My name is [Redacted]. On July 3rd, I attempted to purchase an RV with a certain company. On July 6th, due to a lack of availability at my destination, that purchase was canceled. I spoke with Dallas, the representative, on July 7th, regarding my deposit and was told that $3,000 of my deposit would be refunded and $1,000 would be held for my future purchase. Since that date, I have spoken with Dallas several times and attempted to talk to Wayce, my initial contact, about my refund and arranging for a new purchase on an RV, but have gotten the run around on when this situation will be remedied. I have had several conversations with Dallas since and been told my refund is 'in the mail' and have had no return contact to purchase another RV from Wayce or anyone else. I was misled to believe the company would assist me in purchasing the RV I wanted but, 2 months later, I still have nothing to show and now have no money to actually purchase an RV from anyone. I would appreciate any help in remedying this situation. Thank you.

On Jun 15th 2020, I paid a deposit to Wayce for a camper, promised by mid-July.
On Jun 15th 2020, I paid a deposit to Wayce for a new camper, promised by mid-July. Four weeks later, the delivery was delayed indefinitely due to parts shortage. Mid-August passed without delivery, and on September 7th, I was informed of another delay. I had tried to secure a loaner for the summer, but even that was futile. Brad J indicated that a 6-week delivery was unrealistic, usually taking 8-10 weeks. Frustrated by the constant delays and lack of transparency, I requested to cancel the order. Although cancellation was allowed, my deposit was non-refundable. Had Wayce been upfront about the delivery timeline, this dispute over the deposit could have been avoided.

Was looking for a travel trailer
Was looking for a travel trailer. Googled and found R.V. Wholesalers. A Timothy C continued to send us e-mails every day giving my wife and I the reasons to choose their company. Told my wife *** there was a live show going on the date of 7/29. She should watch the show. A lot of hipe. He also told her his company was giving large discounts during the show and RV Wholesale prices was best in industry. We could shop and they would either beat price of competitor or we could go with competitor. He talked my wife into buying a Wildwood FSX. I signed the agreement. Timothy C told us the RV would not be assembled for atleast 7 weeks. Over the weekend we discovered everything he told us was a lie. The RV was bottom of the line and way over priced. We called him within three days to cancel the transaction. He told us to choose another travel trailer that was more expensive, but a great deal. We found the exact RV he was selling at another dealer within 50 miles of his dealership. We asked them to match or beat price. He stated we were stuck with deal. We asked for his manager. He gave the phone to a fellow salesman. We found this out by calling back and speaking to a lady that answered phone. We asked to speak to owner he would not take are call. He sent us an e-mail stating many people have tried to get refunds in the past. *** We canceled within three days of signing agreement. They didn't even start to make travel trailer and would not start for atleast 7 weeks. There was a breech of contract by R.V Wholesalers dealership due to *** and high pressure sales. We request a full refund of the deposit of $1,000.00.

I paid a $1,000 deposit for a special order product on 5/28
I paid a $1,000 deposit for a special order product on 5/28. I have a signed bill of sale for the product. This was done via phone, text, and email. The sales rep agreed to certain terms verbally and then claimed I "misunderstood" when those terms were not fulfilled. My husband and I were upset about being misled by the sales rep. They kept our deposit and refused to return it. I was told I would be contacted when the product arrived at the dealership. I emailed them to find out the availability for pickup. The owner replied, "You posted a negative review and stopped responding to us. The last contact was on June 2. We requested you remove the review, but you refused, making it hard to work with you. You ignore our calls and now suddenly act interested in the purchase. You don't deserve to be our customer and don't fit our criteria. Good luck finding a product elsewhere. Don't criticize before finalizing a deal, as most won't deal with a hostile customer. Thanks for trying." I haven't received any calls or emails from them, and I can prove it with phone records. They have my deposit and a bill of sale. They've decided to keep my money and not honor the sale, labeling me as a 'hostile customer.' The situation has been a disaster from the start, with the sales rep's dishonesty, their false claims of contact, and the owner's unprofessional response instead of trying to resolve the issue. The owner resorts to insults rather than addressing the problem. I've never filed a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint before, but this business truly warrants it.

I placed a down payment of $1000 for a camper but before doing so I made sure to ask if the payment would be refunded to me if I am not approved
I placed a down payment of $1000 for a camper but before doing so I made sure to ask if the payment would be refunded to me if I am not approved for financing. The sales rep said that if they are not able to get me approved the amount would be refunded. In the same conversation I said I did not want to start the financing until my house was sold so that I would have the best chance of getting approved because my house would be off my credit. The sales rep said it was no problem even if it took longer than their typical 30 day hold. Just before the 30 day mark I sent an email and called the sales rep to make sure everything was still alright and he reassured me that it was I told him when I would be able to start the application which was roughly two weeks from that point again He said it was not a problem. When the time came and the application was done the sales rep said that after trying multiple banks the loan was denied and then He preceded to ask if I wanted to try financing through another bank or if I would like my down payment refunded in which I responded I would like it to just be refunded. Two weeks pass and I still did not see the refund and so I called and was told that because they broke the rules in holding the camper longer than 30 days that there was no way they could refund my money back to me because “they could have sold it during that time period” which within days of my loan being denied they did in fact sell that very same camper and it is no longer in there inventory. They got their money for that camper and yet still feel they were entitled to keep my money. I have text messages between the sales rep and I that were sent well after their “30 day cutoff” where He told me my $1000 would be refunded to me and that is what I feel should be given back to me, if the company is refusing to refund the money after that 30 days then the sales rep should have told me that when I contacted him prior to the 30 days. He withheld this information and lead me on even all the way up to the point of getting denied the loan believing I would be getting my down payment back. This sales rep should at very least be held accountable and have the money taken from his check if the company itself is not willing to just give the money back that I gave. I felt taken advantage of and had I known before the 30 days that the money would not be given back then I would have just said stop holding the camper for me and give it back then but I was led on to believe there was no issues. I have called and tried to settle this matter and left a voicemail but my call was never returned and so I feel this is the appropriate next step. If needed I have text messages and emails showing as proof I was told I would be refunded.
