Dyson Dyson-how far the once mighty has fallen

Believe the bad reviews. Dyson quality has plummeted across their range of household equipment. We have owned their very expensive humidifier/purifiers, vacuums and other equipment-all of it breaks and is really of rather poor quality. Even if you don’t immediately have an issue good luck finding any parts in stock that you may need, for example filters. They clearly prioritize new sales over any existing customers. That then starts the second major issue with Dyson, their customer service. It’s absolutely atrocious. You will spend hours explaining the issue over and over with little to know help or real solutions. If you are lucky enough to find any parts or talk to someone you will likely get the run around or they will just hang up/leave the chat. Never ever buy Dyson because they are not the company they used to be.

Recommendation: Do. not. Buy

It's incredibly disappointing to see a once-reliable company fall apart like this. You've spent a lot on their products, and you deserve much better. My advice? Keep pushing for what you deserve. Get in touch with higher-ups if you can, and make noise about your issues. Use social media to your advantage — sometimes, public pressure can work wonders. Don't let them get away with poor quality and terrible service. Stay persistent and demand the respect and support you deserve.

Dyson So good

Love the hair dyer! Game changer. I have curly hair and the supersonic hair dryer really makes it nice and smooth, no damage! Love it!

Dyson Excellent product

Excellent product. My vacuum did need to get serviced once but it was more needing a good cleaning. It wasn't actually broken. I would consider Oreck too next time.

Dyson Amazing vacuums

We recently purchased the v11. The vacuum is by far the best model yet and performs excellent across all surfaces. Perfect for pets, small and medium jobs. Dyson support has been great and their sales staff is amazing.

Dyson Great light weight cordless sweeper!

These sweepers are powerful as had a great one before this for years that almost sucked up the rug!
This one I bought as now have sever back problems and other health problems so hoped it would be light and easy to use which it is.
Another plus is can use the other attachment in car.
This sweeper is great for thin to medium thick rugs but on down side would not work on plush rugging but you will be surprised to see what all it picks up!
For my situation this is perfect! And can use every day with no lugging as so light and easy. Great light weight cordless sweeper!

Dyson DYSON OFFERS LACKLUSTER CUSTOMER SERVICE - Premium Brand should = Exceptional Service

I just made the final payment on a Dyson order I made last Holiday Season. I have been very pleased with the 2 lights I purchased last year/. So I decided to make another purchase for an additional CSYS Light and a TP07 Fan. The following morning I received an email with a 20% Discount Code. So I called the Dyson's Customer Service line. After a lengthy wait I finally get a Dyson Representative. I explained the situation and requested a Price Match. The Representative was challenged with speaking and understanding the English language. The Representative wanted to CANCEL my order for the TP07 Fan. After correcting him and re-explaining the situation, the Representative continued to insist that I wanted to CANCEL "A Machine". However, the Representative is now stating that I want to cancel the CSYS Light. After multiple attempts trying to convey my request, the Representative puts me on multiple "Brief" Holds. When he finally returns to the line, he repeats the same message as previously stated to me earlier. It is painfully apparent the Representative does not understand the request and doesn't have the command of the English Language to answer the question. So I thank him for his help and ask to speak to his Supervisor. This leads to several holds on the line, with the Representative returning each time to tell me that his Supervisor is not available and he is only going to tell me the same thing. I resisted his attempts to end the call. He then comes back and tells me he is going to have a Supervisor call me back in 24 hours. I told him that was unacceptable and I would continue to wait for the Supervisor to become available. After another series of holds, I get a call while speaking to him from Dyson. The 2nd Dyson Representative listens to my issue and says that she was calling on the behalf of the Vacuum Department and would need to transfer my call to the Commercial Department because I ordered a desk lamp. The 2nd Representative transfers me to the Dyson Customer Service Queue. While the call is still merged with the 1st Representative, a Supervisor joins the call. The Supervisor apologizes for the poor interaction and explains that they are answering the phones from Honduras. The Supervisor is somewhat difficult to understand but significantly better at understanding the request and the options to resolve the issue,

Ultimately, the Supervisor completed a Request Form for a Price Match. However, he does not know if it will be accepted. Ideally, the Supervisor stated I would get an email response in 48 hours or so. So a simple Price Match request turns out to be a 80 minute interaction with a potential resolution in 48 hours. I view Dyson as a Premium Brand and expect a Premium Service to equal the price of their products. As an owner of 2 CSYS Lamps (Desk and Floor), 3 Fans & Air Purifiers (AM11, TP01 and TP07) and 2 Vacuums I can state that Dyson makes exceptional and noteworthy products but the Customer Service (post Purchase Support) is lacking. I spent more than 80 minutes on the telephone this morning. I fully expect that I will be calling the Dyson Customer Service Line to rehash this issue out again in a few days. Has anyone else had a similar issue and had better results. Is there a more direct line of communication with someone working at their corporate office?

I wanted to buy a GEN5 model wireless vacuum cleaner from dyson.com.tr. It was reported that the product was out of stock. I clicked the notify button when it arrived. My e-mail address was requested. I wrote my e-mail address ([protected]@gmail.com).

On Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 05:52, Dyson sent an e-mail, the screenshot of which I have attached below, informing you that the product has arrived in stock.. It was around 09:00 in the morning when I saw this message. I went to dyson website to buy it. I could not get.

I called the help desk [protected]). I talked to an employee of yours named Elif. I explained the situation to him. After waiting for a long time for the screen to turn on, when it came back to me, it asked me to activate the news button again. He said that the product that arrived was finished.

Dyson Turkey are you kidding me? These do not suit a serious company.

Dyson V15 detect cordless vacuum

Purchased 8/28/2023 at Costco for $700+. Fluffy optical roller ceased to roll or shine digital green light. Waited 30 minutes to speak with Dyson customer support, and they hung up on me. Called back and waited another 50 minutes to speak with a tech. Went through troubleshooting for Dyson to verify. Indeed they needed to ship me a replacement roller. None in stock. No date promised. No case # provided. No email confirmation sent. How do I follow up on this issue without starting again from scratch? This is the poorest example I’ve ever seen of CS when they have a two-year warranty. I am also just beyond the date when Costco allows returns although I will try. Tyson needs to rebuild their parts inventory and support their customer purchases or lower their prices if their parts are going to fail so soon. The base portion of the roller is still fine and the most expensive part, however, they have no stock for replacement rollers.

Claimed loss: $200

Desired outcome: Please contact Dyson and ask them to honor their warranties and restock their inventory so they can fulfill their part failures.

Dyson Dyson v7 absolute (under warranty)

I have spent three hours using the Helpline several weeks trying to get my machine picked up for repair. I was given a date for collection (25/11/23). I waited in all day but no-one turned up. I contacted Dyson and they rearranged collection for the 30/11/23. I waited in all day again but yet again no-one turned up. I've now been given a collection date of the 13th December. To be let down twice is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I haven't been able to clean my house properly for weeks now.

Dyson Dyson v12

On July 1st 2023 I ordered a Dyson v12 slim vaccume from the Dyson Canada site. I waited weeks and it still did not arrive. I called Dyson 4 times and went through the steps to get my refund. On August 17th 2023 fianlly a supervisor told me I’d get a refund and wait 5 business days. 10 days went by no refund. Then again on September 25th 2023 I called a supervisor and they told me they will make my refund happen. To this day I’m out my money and still to heard back from what’s going on. The supervisors keep emailing me saying it will happen and no action is being taken. My order # is [protected]

Dyson Airwrap

£400 less than 3yrs barely used - smells burning - Dyson Customer Service absolutely useless advising parts no longer available!, it’s 3yrs old how can they not have parts still. Offered 25% discount for another one - wouldn’t give Dyson a penny of my money and just cancelled the order for a hoover. I thought for such a premium brand you would get a half decent customer service but obviously not the case.

Dyson Dyson airwrap

My mother in law brought me a Dyson airwrap as a present. She registered it when she received it and even spoke to customer service team to ensure it was all correct.

It was fab, worked brilliantly etc. then I noticed a few months down the line that the casing has cracked, it won’t hold the brush in, so I can’t use it. I contact Dyson on WhatsApp and give them serial number etc. they ask for ‘proof of purchase’ and because I don’t have it say my item isn’t under warranty even though I have the full warranty and guarantee and sent it him. He tells me my warranty is nothing without my proof of purchase!

Desired outcome: I’d like it fixed if it can be and for my warranty to actually count!

Dyson Non-fulfilment of replacement under warranty

Two weeks ago I requested a replacement brush bar as the bar no longer rotated. I was told it was t available. It is still not. No idea when. This translates as non-fulfilment of warranty. The lack of this part means the machine is rendered redundant. If it is unobtainable from the source provider, then an alternative provider should be used. Please take the necessary action to result in my having the part asap.

Dyson Dyson v10

My dyson v10 battery was dead in 4 months. I bought this new from costco during christmas. After logging a warranty claim, they first sent me a body. then sent me a battery which was dead in exactly 24 Hrs. Pretty sure they sent me some old used off battery.

they said they will send me a box to ship my unit to a service center. I waited 5 weeks to get that package from the service center which is 50 kms away. it never arrived. I am stuck with a $700 unit which is a dead weight. This is suppose to be a premium brand

Dyson Airwrap

I purchased a Dyson airwrap and it would cut off during use. I worked with customer service and received a replacement last year. Now my new airwrap which is 13 months old is doing the same thing as my last one.

This morning via twitter I was told (for the first time) by a customer service rep that my airwrap shouldn't be used on a GFI outlet. Well news flash ladies and gentlemen, here in Michigan all bathrooms electrical outlets are GFI's and I am not sure where the millionaires style their hair but here in middle class American we do so in the bathroom.

I was told that using the GFI outlet would ruin the digital motor inside the airwrap. I wasn't even presented this information until my unit quit working and now they won't repair or replace it because my original purchase date is 26 months ago.

This is totally unacceptable and I am planning on digging deeper into this if I am not offered a resolution.

Desired outcome: Repair or replace my unit which is clearly damaged by plugging it into a GFCI outlet in my bathroom because I was never told that it couldn't be used on a GFCI outlet.

Dyson Parts help

Ordered a filter for my hot and cold purifier through the app linked to my machine, the app told me which part i needed as it has the machine serial number, easy to order cost £65, item arrived fitted in outer case but would not slot into machine, original filter is purple, the filter sent was black. went through the process of sending it back, was told it was my fault as i had ordered the wrong part and made to feel thick! even though i explained this was the part the app told me to buy. the part was ordered in may, it took a month to get a refund.

went on the whats app chat before ordering filter no2, this conversation went on for 8 days until they told me which filter to get after checking my serial number, again the part arrived, wrong filter again! I'm a little fed up by now so i phone up and speak to a real person called Jayden whom was very apologetic said he would send me a return label for filter no2 and order me filter no3.

filter number 3 arrived ordered by dysons very own customer service team and guess what, it was the wrong one also, i still have not been refunded for filter 2 or filter 3, you are told the money will be in your account in 5 working days , well i still have not received the money or the filter, so my machine is not fit for purpose it seems as they cant send the filter, it also looks like they are trying to steal my money £150 is a lot of money to me!

i have bought from dyson since 1995, i will never buy a thing from them again! i emailed the company director, got no answer so i can see why the customer service team are not bothered either

i will try get my money back again today but we will see how it goes!

in the mean time folks before you buy an air purifier check how easy it is to replace the filters !

Desired outcome: my money back for my 2 filters i have sent back to you with the return slip inside so no excuse as to you didnt recieve them as ive sent proof of posting !a filter so i can use the machine that cost me nearly £500

Dyson Dyson customer support

Dyson claim to have customer support services.
Their phone number doesn't work.
Their WHATSAPP chat is poorly manned (over six hours wait time)
They have NO EMAIL address for customers.
Their @dyson twitter account asks you to DM them, but DMs are locked.
Their @ASKDYSON account never responds properly.
Consequently I cannot arrange for a repair of their very expensive robot vacuum.

Dyson Dyson Airwrap

My airwrap stoooed working. Shuts off midway through blow drying my hair. I’ve only had is for a year. There is still a year warranty left in it. I can not get a hold of customer service. The line either hangs up on me or is busy. Live chat also doesn’t work. I am so disappointed in the product. I need someone to contact me to resolve this issue.

Dyson Dyson Corrale styler straightener

My children purchased Dyson Corrale styler straightener as a Mother's day present two years ago. We did not register it for warranty.

The unit stopped working and the flashing error code is not in the manual and I have not been able to find it online.

My just completed call / talk with customer service was a complete waste of time. The woman assisted me in finding the unit with the serial number I provided off the device.

Apparently Dyson has some other name as owner?

All I wanted was an answer to the error code that is different then in manual trouble shooting or online references.

We have purchased three dyson plug in vacuums and three cordless models. My wife is a big Dyson fan.

this is the first bad Esperance I have had with Dyson but I am highly irritated because it is so STUBID not to be able to get an answer to my question.

Dyson I want to be able to trust you to do the right thing.

May 3 2023, My Dyson V10 fell over and shattered one of the golden tubes. I called to report and get a replacement part. I was sent the wrong one with the box broken and all taped up. Get the package it is the wrong one. I sent it back which entails a one hour plus drive to Fresno ca. I got a confirmation from Dyson. I waited a couple of weeks and now still no part. I called to find out what is going on and I find out you have not even ordered the part. I then ordered it again and after I look at my email and you have ordered the wrong part again. I call again and ask to speak to a mgr. Edward said I have to return the broken part first, really? You have messed up so badly I don't trust you. I will comply with the return of the broken part along with the all the parts that go with it... I am a very dissatisfied customer and the incompetents you have hired is unreal! I have always loved my Dyson tools but after this adventure with your lot I am discouraged. I asked Edward how he could make this right. He said he would send me a text to take care of the mailing. However, my whole day of going to town to taking care of your mistake makes me furious. That is the best you can do to regain a loyal customer?

Desired outcome: I want you to hire good people not liars. ( I was told my new part would be here in 5-7 days.. Which happen to be a bold face lie!!! you don't even have the part to send.)

Dyson Dyson Airwrap

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap on 11/16/21

It is still under warranty. The device stopped working. I have contacted Dyson 4 times to submit a claim. Every time I speak to a representative I am being told differently. Each representative have start a claim to have my device replaced and when I contact them again I am being told that my device it not in stock. The 2nd to the last representative said I would be getting an exchange for another device and also sent me a shipping label to send my device back and they would ship me a new one. Today when I called I am being told that they are not going to send me a new since again it is not in stock. Which when they start a claim I am not being informed of that. It is very frustrating. This device was very expensive for having to be going through all this trouble. I would have never purchased it if it was going to be this difficult and inconvenient.
