I tried to buy 2 pairs of Rainier pants because I received a flyer (and the sale is also listed online) that "friends and family" was 50% off. No code needed.
However, when I go to the friends and family section, the Rainier pants are there, but they are only 25% off.
First, I was told that the pants need to be in the friends and family section. They are.
Second, I was told they were "ascent" and therefore excluded. Nowhere in the description does it say they're "ascent," and when you search "ascent" products, several things come up, but not these Rainier pants. I do see that after I tried to complain, they added "ascent products are 25% off." But that's still not relevant because these pants aren't designated anywhere as "ascent."
Third, I was told "more than one discount can't be applied." I am not asking for more than one discount. I"m asking for the product to be listed at the price it was advertised: 50% off in the friends and family section.
The reps refuse to escalate the situation and the corporate office is inexplicably "closed for renovation" and has been for over a year, and they use that and CoVid (old excuse) to justify not being able to reach a live person.
Desired outcome: I want two pairs of the Rainier pants at 50% off the original price as advertised.
