Bad service
You have a very bad service you i'm so pissed right now I have been waiting here since 02:10am and now the the time is 08:53 still nothing no communication I tried to call your call center but no one is picking up.. What am I suppose to do now I don't have money to book another bus or to take a taxi i'm with my 5 year old child imagine sitting here for hours with a child and I cold hay marn

1. Bus was very late
2. Stuff was not communicating, we had to ask for feedback as customers.
3. They brought a bus which is not an eldo was and only a few people was accommodated, they brought another bus which is not an eldo bus and said the eldo bus will delay and will probably be here within an hour or less which we still waiting.
5. This is wrong and unacceptable, how do buses run out, I believe that when people book it shows on the system if it is fully booked or how many buses will be available on that day, an 23:00 was not supposed to be there if this was going to happen. Now we waiting here for a proper bus to get here as we will not be using the bus we did not pay for.
6. You can even tell that the bus does not have a toilet, how does one travel for 7 hours with a bus that has no toilet when you paid for an eldo bus with a toilet. I am not a happy customer.

The bus toilet did not work, the driver stopped in the middle of nowhere instead of by a garage, people literally had to pee in the bush. Driver was speeding. There was no communication whatsoever with passengers. I am very hurt and disappointed. Not only did we receive bad service but it was clear the drivers had no regards for passengers lives. We paid a lot of money to get a bus ticket for us to be treated like this

I have never seen such a bad service in my life, firstly the pick up bus arrived way too late our pick up time was 19:30 but we had to leave Pretoria around 21:00 fine I just let that pass, Now the return is what made me see that really Eldo coaches don't take their clients serious, the bus left on time 13:30 but the bus was not in good condition, not serviced at all we where literally walking to Pretoria in that bus, it was raining the bus is leaking, my son is sick and we are sitting on the leaking couch bad service ever, please service your busses because we plan for drivers to pick us up at the station only to arrive hours after the expected time of arrival, the bus is moving extremely slow

Please don't use this bus no matter how cheap it is, it has no order
Firstly their employees have a bad attitude they talk to us as if we are nothing
Secondly the bus was late and the driver was driving speed we almost crushed when we told him to decrease the speed he didn't listen to us he didn't even bother to reply us and we got lost and the driver made a uturn in the middle of free state on a high way
If you still want to be alive don't use this bus I think it should even stop operating.
Bad bad bad service from Eldos
C'mon Eldo Coaches, you cant overbook your buses, a bus that was supposed to leave at 17h30 on Friday from Umtata to Johannesburg came full, another one full, another one full, only got late bus at 21h00 which was delayed at Kokstad as other people were standing. The bus only left Kokstad at 04h45. We still on our way to Johannesburg from yesterday. Will never recommend this rubbish on any one.
Stephen (Supervisor in Mtata branch) tried to organise bus when we were stranded and I salute you my brother but you working for a bad company, your service deserves better company or start your own fleet

I am complaining about two drivers of the bus that we took from PE to Johannesburg they are rude and both of them are trying to fight us when we complain. One of the laid his hands on me when I was trying to tell them that what they are doing is wrong.
Desired outcome: They must be dismissed both of them because they are not fit for the job.

Mrs. D Snyman purchased a busticket nr. B5AFG72P/L591uye5 ticket nr AB8IHH01 to depart from Kroonstad ULTRA City 20:30 7/1/2022and arrive in Uitenhage 6:45 8/1/2022. We waited since 20:00 at ULTRA City and send whatsups and phoned the help desk with no luck. No sms was receives stating that they will be late at all. I am supposed to work tomorrow.
Bus breaking down
I am so disappointed with your service. Firstly the bus was late and then broke down a couple of hours after we've departed. This is unacceptable and wastes a lot of our time as customer's. I don't see myself ever using your services ever again.

Poor customer service and risking with peoples lives

*Bus was supposed to leave for Johannesburg at 11am but only left late at 12:30
*Brakes where not working on that Bus and lead us to an accident
*They later sent a second bus of which also wasted more time as when we ware half way to Mantrose the driver was call to return and collect other passengers at Maritzburg
*Second bus also lead to a minor accident and the Windscreen is Damaged.
Alot has happend withing this one trip from Durban to Johannesburg as now time is 22:00 and we still 2 hours away from Jozi still borded the bus at 12:30pm

My wife and kid was supposed to be picked at Mthatha Ultra City at 14:05 on Sunday 2ndof January 2022 heading for CapeTown
The bus didn't pitch till 21:00
No communication nothing
The bus that came at 21:00 was a replacement of the first bus that got stuck
Now other bus got stuck again between Mossel Bay and Swellen Dam at 09:00 and has been standing there for 6 hours now no communication nothing
The driver doesn't have a clue when rescue will be coming
No shops
No food
No water
This kind of service is the worst
As long as l breath l don't l will use this Bus line

The bus ticket purchased states we depart from Pretoria 16:30 and Arrive in Port Elizabeth 07:30. We get in time and ask around what bus we must bord. The sms we receive from the company is that we may bord one of the 3 busses Grey hound, City Liner and Eldo. We eventually get the bus but the driver is in patient and rude and talks soft that you can't hear. Don't know who but two guys directs me around the bus and tells me to put my stuff in.
Go in was hot and we get seats at the back. Bus departs 16:33 Pretoria station. It's warm no Covid 19 regulations we stop a block from the JHB station. Bus driver speaks soft. Everyone at the back just gets up and people just walk. But can see no one knows what. My girlfriend ask the bus driver if we must stay on board or leave with the rest. She just got a bad feeling somethings wrong. The groups gone and the bus driver tells her she should have been off the bus by now. She comes back for me on the bus. Then we go across the street to get the driver to release our luggage from the Cityliner. He tries to flag and stop another bus company to take us to the station. The bus just went past. Then he calls a guy that sits next to the Eldo bus to take us to the station. The guy is loud and very aggressive and says no he will show us the way and very persistent and then goes and fetches a trolley and again persistent we must put all our luggage on the trolley. We only put the big luggage on and carry the small luggage. We walk around cars and busses and people we end up in the station and he tells us that this is Eldo bus counter we excite gate six he wants money. I tell him to take me to the nearest Absa ATM because I don't carry cash on me. I draw R40 and show him R20 he shouts and says clearly he wants a R100. I go back and return. I tell him I will give him R50 now and R50 later if he gets me and my girlfriend on the bus safely. He tells me I must give him R20. I give him the money and the guys that was following us he chased away. At gate 6 we squeeze past the people. The same guys that he chased away grabbed our bags at the section where the staff was standing and they wrapped the luggaged and took us to the bus and the more I tell them I dont have money the more they just move and hustle and ask the lady at the bus if its going to PE. They through the luggage in the luggage compartment and I tell them I only have R70 cash. They look disappointed but took the money and left.
My first thing I can say is that I never felt so scared and overwhelmed in my life. And other thing is I am so disappointed in Eldo coaches. I drove with other bus companies and they arent like what I experienced. Rude, lazy, unprofessional and unhelpful.
I was even swindled out of my money R140
Saddest part is that a friend referred me to use Eldo. Don't start when we went up on the 23rd December 2021 worst and also scarry and longest trip ever. Return trip 02 January 2022

Poor service
On the 22 December 2021, I was travelling from Pietermaritzburg to Lenasia when the bus broke down before mooi river. Then greyhound bus was called. The bus driver from our first bus told us to leave our luggage he will meet us at Montrose. That didn't happen. And the driver of the greyhound bus that came dropped us 3 streets away from Park Station. Stating that's park station. We had to walk in Central jhb with what things we had with us. Then on arriving at park station our luggage was still sitting in Mooi river on the other bus that was broken down. So we had no luggage they said only the next day we will get it someone will call us. No one called us. I had to call. Plus at park station we were stuck for almost 4 hours and then only after making noise was a quantum vehicle organized to bring us to lenasia and we had no luggage with medication also that we needed in the bags. The following days after endless phone calls at my own expense I finally got my luggage at bus that came from the depo to signet.I had to spend almost R100 on phone calls I used to get my luggage. I would like a refund of the tickets I paid which was R590 for 2 tickets. Because of all the inconvenience and worst trip ever and my airtime spend calling also. Horrible unprofessional service
First of you changed my ticket from 18h35 from Mthatha to Pta to 17h30 but your bus arrives late anyway.
The same bus stops in shady places and drops people on the highway which by law is not allowed.
Then we get to Park Station and are told to go to another bus which was full and we again had to go back to the bus we came with. Unnecessary time wasting.
Stupidly enough my bus time was moved forward by an hour and i am more than 2 hours late

Eldo coaches it's the worst bus, the driver was late at bus station for almost an hour when he got he just passed all. The passangers if iam not mistaken we were 7 of us standing at busy station mount fletcher on 28 December,the driver just. Pas9 us and left us there standin the rain around past 6, the busy was supposed to be there at 17:15. How will I get my refund since the driver left us. Imagine I had to take another transportation and pay money again, the call centre its worse spend I spend 100 on calling until I ran out of air time, how do I get my money back.
Bus Delay
I would like to complain about unacceptable service that my mother and other passenger received from Eldo Coaches. My mother was suppose to board a bus from Klerksdorp to Cape Town at 15:25 and till this time (21:05) no bus has arrived. She was at the stop 2 hours before her boarding time.
Other passenger are also stranded, not communication whatsoever was given to them. I waiting 1 hour 30mins on the line for a call center agent to pickup the line and the whats app line is complete ridiculous, no response was given.
Where is my mother going to sleep, if you maybe communicated earlier we could have made some other means. If anything happens to my mother Eldo Coaches will pay, I promise. You say your care about your passenger, but I am only seeing pure negligent of loyal customer, I dont know if any of the guys managing this buses would stay this long waiting for a bus.
This is so unfair, money will refunded next year, but I paid it same time, I took my last to book, the service it's so bad
Bad Service & Delay
This is a crap bus, booked a bus from Aliwal North to Jhb for my son for 28 Dec at 9.10pm. It's now 1. 05am and the bus has still not arrived and we have no option but to cancel as my son can't sit out in the cold the whole night. What's worse is that I've called 3 times, kept in hold for about 30 min on each call and being told the bus is in Jamestown or 40km away or an hour away, why lie and make people sit out in the cold, at risk of being robbed while waiting for a bus. This is the worst service we've ever received by far! The lies just kill me! I do want my refund and more for the suffering my son and sister endured while waiting for your bus!

I would like to express my deepest disappointment for the poor service delivered to your customers on 22 December 2021
I made a booking (Ref: AB60ED-001) to board the bus from Paarl (Monument Shell, cnr of Main and South street), at 12h55 to Trompsburg and waited at my boarding point since 12h00. At 12h30 I received a sms to confirm that the bus will be delayed (Message: Dear passengers, please note there's a delay on our service, please do remain at your departure point. Kindly take note that we are in collaboration with Greyhound & Cityliner, please be on the lookout for either Eldo coaches, Greyhound & Cityliner. Your patience is appreciated, kind regards Eldo Coaches)
We waited there with only one bus arriving that was on its way to Johannesburg. At 18h09, I received another message that reads as follows: Dear passengers, please note that the coach you will be boarding will be a (Citiliner/Greyhound/Eldo Coaches or Eljosa), regards Eldo Coaches.
The other guy, who was going to Durban (also on the same coach - 6303 CPT to BFN to DNB) boarded an InterCape bus to his destination. I waited at my departing point until 22h05 and had to spend R450 for traveling between Paarl and Stellenbosch
This is totally unacceptable and extremely unprofessional to have your customers wait for more than 10 hours. We tried to call but your lines were very busy and our airtime was consumed like water.
I had to make other arrangements to get to my destination that cost me another R850 and not to mention my precious and expensive time that was waisted
I called the call center on 24 December 2021 and spoke to Lee-Ann who could not give me the reason(s) for the delay and informed me that she will call me back on my cell nr: [protected]. I called at 11h51 and my call was answered at 12h18. I waited an hour for a call from Lee-Ann but nothing happened
I would like the Managing Director of Eldo Coaches to personally apologise to all the affected customers and show compassion to all the trauma, emotional, physical, psychologic and financial stress that we went through. I don't know how Eldo Coaches will reward us for this but I would like my money back, R 2, 340.00 (Traveling to and from Paarl [R450], Waisted Airtime [R80], Bus ticket [R660], Other travel arrangement [R850], Additional Transport from Colesberg to my destination in Bethulie [R300]). This amount doesn't include the waisted time and trauma that I've experienced
I trust that you will deal with this complaint at the highest level and that you will consider my refund request

Lee-Ann phoned me back at 15h20 to inform me that the applicable bus was on time and that she spoke to four other passengers that boarded the bus. Apparently the bus picked up Mr. Jolani at Monument Shell and he was dropped off at Durban. I know for a fact that there was another passenger with me (probably Mr. Jolani) that took a InterCape bus, at around 20h00.
This is a really blatant lie and truly a disgrace and pathetic service from your company
I surely will not leave it at this email. Be sure that I will get my lawyers to attend to this matter

Me my experience was the guy who takes out the bags of the bus Zulu guy I remember he was wearing eldo uniform but with no name tag he didn't want to give me my bag n said he didn't see it it's lost n I told him but u didn't look all the bags I had two big bags n I had two kids that time I told him I'm not going no where without my bag that Zulu guy was so disrespectful to me even if I had a baby on my back he saw I'm not giving up then he found it I told him to say sorry for lieying to me he said never... Imagine that was my first time and last time I took that bus service is bad u can even see they don't even resolve this bad service
Poor customer service - Queenstown Office
I visited the ticket sales office on 13 Dec 2021 there office was closed, when I inquired from people around the station was told the lady went out. I waited for 2 hours no luck.
Same poor customer service today 14 Dec they're sitting outside and just asked what do I want, then told them I need a bus ticket to Joburg. They didn't bother to enter the office they just said there's no buses without asking me for which date. I told them I'll just book online and left the station.
This is really out of line, please consider looking into the matter.
