Bus service is very bad
We booked an Eldo coaches bus from Durban Station to Johannesburg park Station, firstly we had to change two busses because they were malfunctioning, now we on some road waiting for the 3rd bus. The busses even stink of urine. Their service is very poor.
Desired outcome: Busses should be maintained on a regular basis, they should be properly cleaned

1. Bus 2 hours late.

3. No space in bus for my son.
4. Son alone without cash at statiin.
5. Wasted money to get there. Stranded.
6. Were told to use ticket and jump on Intercape bus or Gautrain. Who not one accepted the ticket.
7. Tried to call head office. No assistance to refund or another bus. Afterward nobody answer call.
8. Bank offline, cannot book ticket.
9. Lost money.
10. Neet Eldo Couches to refund the R365 and to pay the money for adfitional ticket needed and taxi fair as nobody wanted to wait for my son and he needs to get home.
He is young, cashless and Im worried about him.
Very bad to treat payi g custimers like this. Not trusting the service again.

Unanswered calls for 6hrs

Service and refunds
I booked tickets over a week ago for late December.
Unfortunately we can not make our trip anymore so I need to get a refund.
I called the numbers provided to me [protected] and [protected]) I and never get passed the caller nr 2 prompt... When I reach the 30min mark for holding on the say and I quote "we are sorry the person you are trying to reach is not available right now" and then my call gets dropped.
I wasted R150 just on airtime to no avail.
I then call the other number provided [protected]) then get told the number is no longer in service.
Then I call PnP Travel team Call centre on [protected]) and a very sweet lady answer and give me two email addresses.

Can I have money, your eldo coaches drive was late and when he reached at bus station couldn't bother to stop for us after we waited and an hour, I had to use another transportation and spend money again. I tried to call call center with my last 100 but no luck

The Eldo coaches bus was supposed to leave Durban station at 10:55 on Monday 29 November but due to the bus delay the bus left Durban station at 13:00 and the bus was supposed to arrive at Pretoria at 19:20 the same day.. right now we are stuck in middle of the road it's almost 1:30 am and we are not safe.. and I was supposed to take tax at Bossman at the moment there are no taxes to take us home.. so I will appreciate to be refunded, due to unpleasant service

My Name is Mark Radley. Ive been booked to travel Eldo caoches bus at 6 PM from Eldo Caoches offices in Port Elizabeth. Sincectbere was problems with thy buss the company is still not getting back to is weather the will reimburse us or get another bus. Ive been sitting in a stucked buss in PE for already almost 7 hours. We not getting aby communications from the bus company and managent is refusing to take our calls. Thid is extremely por quality Service and there is nothing done avout it. We have kids on the bus thats becoming restless abd to make things worse some of us have scheded appointments at our destinations heade too andcwe are defi goingvto not make it. How is Eldo Caoches going to deal this huge inconvenience ifvtheyvare not communicating with us. This is a big big dissapointment thatvsuch a big company claims to be so great yet delivering such atrocious servicecwith por quality vehicles also. They should not be on the long dis toute. My name is sesinyana phahlane I booked two tickets from Durban to Pretoria 08:30, we waited for the bus until 10:00 from there round about Cato rigde the bus had a breakdown another bus was called it came late so eventually we arrived in Pretoria around 22:00 and there were not taxis around that time and I have to travel to Cullinan and it is about 47 km- 50 do you know much the metered taxi costs I had to buy 400 rand for me to get home safely on top of the 1130 I paid you guys and it is not fair, please do extensive maintenance on your buses we are suffering here
Theft
My bag was stolen on the bus B980 that traveled from CapeTown to Pretoria on 21/11/2021 and arrived on 22/11/2021.
We were told to check our bags when we got to Joburg (which I found very weird)and when I checked for mine it was nowhere to be found. I was told to report the matter at their offices when we get to Pretoria, which I did and I wasn't satisfied with the service.
Your people are incompetent and negligent. Why put stickers on our bags if you are not going to check whether people leave with their own bags or what?
If nothing is done about this in the next three days I am taking this matter further.

I would like to inform you about the poor services that we receiving from this company. I booked a bus ticket in Cape town (Shoprite) this morning. The bus is from East London to cape town and it was supposed to pick up at 17H30 in Windmill (EL) and just before 17h00 the passenger was informed that she should move to town because windmill is closing at 16h00. Now the time is 21:35 and the passenger is still waiting therewith other passengers because the bus has not arrived. what pisses me of is that there is no proper communication from Eldo company, their staff in EL is very rude to passengers. Seemingly this company does not care about its passengers and the services is very poor. I hope you understand that this is not the only bus company that is operational in South Africa.

Hi we are in Durban and the service we have received at the Durban office is very poor. The bus was supposed to depart at 16:00 now the time is 16:45 the staff told us the bus will be late by 30 minutes which is understandable but when we asked at 16:30 they were very rude and told us there is nothing they can do which I find unacceptable the other lady at the counter called the call center to find out if the bus left the depot and they were told bus is gonna arrive at 16:45 and there is no bus still this is very unprofessional I would not recommend this bus to anyone and this is the last time booking it.

We have left parkstations 18:00 17 November 2021 and bus had a Malifunction problem with the gear box at Kuruman at 2:45 am 18 November 2021, The driver called for help to fix the bus that moment it arrive at only 8:00 am 18 November 2021, still even that help couldn't fix the bus and the left, it's now 10:50 am, we still haven't get any help for another alternative help from Eldo coach, the emergency toilet is blocked of them, and we have to pay R2 for the whole day to use toilet, Eldo Coaches services is very poor... We are hungry, we are thirsty, we don't have money for toilet, and we don't get any type of communication at all from Eldos Coaches office, we laying and sitting in bus that's not working at all, at Kuruman Engen garage in Northern Cape, and we left Park Station yesterday 17 November 2021 around. I'll never use this bus ever in my life, cause they numbers on the leaflet pamphlet isn't even working at all. We sitting with old people, baby's and people who have appointment where they suppose to get to and some passengers even end up going to Hiking spot, which put they life's in danger, 6 passenger end up taking another taxi, a mother put her baby on her back to go hike. Yet nothing is taken seriously to make arrangements for another transportation as advised by the mechanics who attempt to fix the bus, but discovered it needs to pulled away and another transportation needs to be arrange for us passengers. Eldo's is very unreliable with the quality of they service.
Desired outcome: Should be give us better service and be attentive to any kind of problem and solve it and make a plan b asap, have they busses function right, especially the toilets, and USB ports

Hi my name is mandla Maseko, I've been waiting for an Eldo bus since 12h30 am at Kimberly Ultra City. When I call I was told that the bus will delay n the consultant who didn't state his name told me that sms's were sent to every client. I further explained that I never received such an sms, then he Harold me to wait for 45min by then it was 02h00 am when I made that. Now it's 03h50 still no sign of the bus. I e, planed that I was to connect with trunslux or City to City since my destination is Mpumalanga Hazyview n he said "sorry for the delay but nothing can be done about that". So I wanna know as to where does that leave me since now I won't be able to get any bus from PTA to Hazyview, may it be noted that this is also budget or cost related as I'm expected to be at work. Now the time is 03h55 am and still no bus. Been waiting out in the cold at the filling station.

4 Breakdowns in one trip
Your service is atrocious. We had a breakdown with Intercape and they immediately sent out a replacement bus. You had for breakdowns and no replacement bus. I was suppose to be at home be 07:00 its now 18:40 and I am still in your crappy bus. You could've at least provided your customers food, but no useless, non exisrant customer service. Here are old people on this bus that need to change modes of transport to get home. Im pretty sure that they won't be able to get home to their loved ones tonight. :( :( :(

I bought tickets to Durban on the 14th Sep but cancelled on time and send them refund forms and all required documents on the 20th Sep.
The refund was supposed to be done between 14 - 21 days but when I called them they said they have a backlog, they're still paying June refunds - I might get my refund next year.
This is preposterous and highly unacceptable.

Had booked a ticket for 4:30 arrived at the station 30 min before as prescribed it is now 7:00 the bus has not arrived attempted to get through to the call center was on hold for over an hour without getting through to a consultant attempted calling the head office without any luck this is a truly despicable!

Am iuon a bus now from Durban to P. E.. I went in the bus one of the drivers assisted or friend was eating fish.. Bus uos dirty inside... Curtains for the sun are out few curtains Tha cover windows.. Eldos couches the bus broke down from Durban station we only past the first toll gate bus standing at a gas station and the driver say he don't think anyone will come out or send another bus for us we need to get to Johannesburg already the bus was 2hours late and now this we need a bus to come now

Am complaining about the poor service and late of bus on the 2 October from Pretoria to cape Town
I booked a ticket from Pretoria to cape Town on the 2 October 2021 11:30 for two people. They didn't announce on time that the bus is going to be late. On the last minute they told them the bus is delayed. To top up the humiliation they quickly took them to take train to johannesburg to catch a bus there and they didn't have the assistant on the way about. Imagine spending people to a place they don't know jist saying go to this place and catch a bus there. When they got there luckily asking people how to go about then they found the bus. Along the way, the bus stucked and there were told only will be fetched at 11:30. Imagine the bus that had to be arrival time 7:30 not they will be fetched at 11:30. You are playing with people plans and life. 🤦♀️. This so humiliating imagine canceling our important plans that could save my son life because of your inconsistent and poor service. If i had time i was going to tell people not to use your bus services.
Eldo buses and punctuality are not allies...
Especially for the 16h30 bus from pta to PE... It left JHb at 20h00(see the difference) 🧘🏿♂️this happened twice to Me.
Eldo Coaches Bus Service
Booked 10 tickets to Durban via computicket, I wasn't happy with the service. We got to Johannesburg park station and we shuttled to Midrand to catch a bus which was not a Eldo Coaches Bus but some bus called Toot Coaches.
It smelled so bad, it had dust, toilets were dirty, the windows couldn't close properly wind was coming in for the whole 8 hours. It was a disaster!
Next time when your buses are full, don't sell us tickets only to sell us to other bus services. Very Dissappointing

My name is Portia Shezi, I was travelling with my son on 13/09/2021 I booked a bus from Pietermaritzburg to Jhb…8 o'clock to 12:55…to my surprise when I got there I was told that I only booked and didn't pay.. I had to book an ubber to fnb only find that payment was made to some David bus.
I found their numbers and phoned them…a guy by Mzoxolo was very helpful…
My complain is I spent 10 hrs sitting at the bus station…I found myself spending money I didn't have for food after we finished sandwich I brought for the morning trip. had to buy lunch and dinner for 2…I had raw meat given to me it end up in a trash can…also had to pay intercape staff just to charge my phone…I'm very disappointed with Eldos buses that it took me 20 hrs just to arrive in Jhb…

Called the operator who advised me to take a 12h00 bus the following day. As you read this I'm from the pick up point. The was still no show. I called them and to my surprised the operator told me that I had rejected an offer for rebook and filed for a refund. I bought the ticket online. Now when they have to refund me I'm told to avail myself at their Joburg offices.
