They try to push a new unit sale, instead of reviewing the warranty
They try to push a new unit sale, instead of reviewing the warranty. Also, I am unsure if the company is fully certified with all brands. They want to do basic service and additional sales. Not comprehensive. You will find your self leaving several messages.

Be careful with Emergency Air, they're not honest buyers
Be careful with Emergency Air, they're not honest buyers. They tried to sell me a unit for 10k when I found the same one for 130 elsewhere. Their technician came and only spent 15 to 20 minutes, but insisted on replacing my 6-year-old unit. He kept pushing for another assessment that would cost an extra 300, and then he went all out and tried to sell me a *** unit. Don't use this company unless you want to be ripped off.
I've been using Emergency Air for years and I love 'em!
I've been using Emergency Air for years and I love 'em! They always give me a reminder call for my six-month service checks, and they helped us replace our unit when it died in the middle of summer. They're also great about sending out the same service provider, so we've built a relationship and I look forward to our visits. They're fair and offer services they'd recommend, but they don't push you to make unnecessary purchases. I highly recommend 'em.
We picked Emergency Air to replace our busted heat pump
We picked Emergency Air to replace our busted heat pump. We got a Carrier 16 Seer 2 stage unit and they brought it over and set it up the next morning. They even covered the cost of a hotel room the night before. They messed up the ceiling in the garage while taking out the equipment, but they sent a plasterer who fixed it up real nice. We noticed a loose piece of tape on the back of the unit and they came back and fixed it. Emergency air did everything they said they would do on time. We're really happy and would totally recommend them.
The folks at Emergency Air are really great
The folks at Emergency Air are really great. They showed up right on time, did the job just like we talked about, and explained every step in detail. The employees and technicians really know their stuff, they work hard, and they give top-notch service. Now I've got a whole new system - not just the A/C unit, but also new ductwork, a safety water valve, a filter cover, base unit flooring, and an A/C unit from Carrier, which is the best. And they even cleaned the ducts and the dryer line. It's amazing how they did it all in just a few hours. They did a fantastic job. I'm really happy with this company. Thanks to the installation technicians *** and *** and all the knowledgeable workers.
I had problems with a few AC companies
I had problems with a few AC companies. My AC stopped working in July. All the other companies, even the one recommended by the warranty company, made us wait for three days before sending someone. After waiting, the companies didn't fix anything; they just said "try this" and "check it tomorrow". Needless to say, I never called them back. I called Emergency Air in the late evening, and they asked if we needed someone that night or if we could wait until morning. Within 15 minutes of our technician arriving at the house, the issue was fixed. Turns out we had an older system that was on its last legs. The new system works perfectly. We got a great price compared to other companies.
Caleb & Kellie were great help with our home's old HVAC units (15 yrs old each)
Caleb & Kellie were great help with our home's old HVAC units (15 yrs old each). Luckily, they got us two 4-ton Bryant units and installed them before a crazy heatwave. Just in time, and much appreciated. Very professional installation, both units are working well, even during six 115+ days in a row. Heads-up, even with 0% financing, you'll be paying at least $280+ a month per unit, right after installation. We're paying $560+ per month for the two 4-ton units until we can pay them off (before the 1-yr 0% interest deal ends). Just be ready, financially, if you have to replace your HVAC like us!
Dealing with this company has been nothing but frustrating from start to finish
Dealing with this company has been nothing but frustrating from start to finish. They were supposed to come out for a same day emergency service, but no showed (They did waive the service fee for this inconvenience). They offered to come next morning, then tried to change it for 12-4pm. Luckily we still got the tech to come in the morning. The tech initially estimated 500$ for adding Freon. He had to add more than anticipated and the bill ended up being more than $1,000 for Freon. He did not warn us of this change until the end. I understand more Freon was needed and obviously up-charged us a lot, but I should've been communicated with about this change and not surprised with a bill twice the price of what I was told. The tech was also less than helpful and when asked to take a look in the attic, he refused. I will never use this company again or recommend them to friends and family. In fact, I will tell people to steer clear.
Fraud scam alert!
Fraud scam alert! A technician from Emergency Air came to do AC maintenance on a 5-year-old unit. The company had bought the maintenance contract. The technician said we needed a new evaporator for $2200 and a stop leak for $750. When I asked for basic information and to see the gauges, he kept changing his story. This happened at my 87-year-old widow mother's home. The gauge readings didn't match the repairs he claimed. He sent me a picture of where the leak was on her unit, and it looked suspicious because it was in the center, not where a connection would be. Plus, the unit was working perfectly fine. I asked him to leave immediately and called his supervisor, Mike. Mike was rude and disrespectful. I told him that I had another company coming to check out the unit, a company I trusted. The new contractor came and did a thorough evaluation of the entire unit. They said her AC worked perfectly and there was nothing wrong with it. The so-called "leak" shown in the picture was just something sprayed on the exterior to make it look like there was a problem. I called Mike back to discuss what we had discovered, but he wasn't interested in my concerns and was disrespectful. I asked him to never return to my mother's home again, and that's when he rudely said, "You're not the homeowner." Dishonest, deceitful, and rude!
Emergency Air Complaints 2
2nd problem
2nd problem. Can't get a call back about what they promised me. I only got 1 call where the office had no clue I talked to them and got promises. So here we go again. Problems were never fixed or taken care of.
In February , we had a new unit installed by Emergency Air
In February , we had a new unit installed by Emergency Air. They told us that a new electric return vent and a new elbow vent would be included, but they were not. The main reason we chose Emergency Air was because of these additional benefits. We could have gotten the same unit installed for $1000.00 cheaper elsewhere. It seems like this company doesn't follow through on their promises of providing all the services.
