Truck repairs
I purchased Endurance Insurance when I purchased a used 2015 Mercedes truck. When a person purchases a used vehicle, you want an extended warranty because the dealership warranty expired on a 2015.
The adjuster agreed the repairs are needed. The adjuster comes out after the repair shop inform them the repairs are needed. Endurance adjuster agrees the repairs are needed; however, it has been 8 days, $500 dollars later in rental car fees and this company wanted the last three oil changes, okay done. Send the paperwork and then the representative states, we are going to need additional tear down with the engine. After she mentioned that she said then we will determine if we pay for the repairs. But wait a minute, I am thinking everything you requested was received.
My maintenance is up to date.
Desired outcome: Please pay repairs. That is my only source of vehicle.
I would like to cancel my warranty and get a refund.
I had the worst experience with Endurance warranty. They refused to pay for every claim that my dealership sent even when it was listed in the contract. When I talked to the customer service, they had no answer as to why the claim was denied. They would not let me cancel the warranty and said that they will get back to me with a solution. However, I did not hear from them for the next two weeks. I wrote several emails, called multiple times, but got no reply. Now I am just simply trying to cancel my policy so that I do not have to pay for another month, however they just keep transferring the calls and put me on hold for 2-3 hours only to later disconnect. I am very disappointed. I spent thousands of dollars on this company and its completely unprofessional.
I heard back from Endurance and they are cancelling my policy and issuing me a refund check.
here is what a third-party billing service can do with your account. Recently my wife asked about our auto warranty auto insurance. I had no idea. I had not received their papere4 information contact phone numbers, and what the company covered in their insurance. Didn't know. Thoughtfully, my wife added a contact phone number in the banking transactions report. I called it to find out it was a third-party billing service. They (Walco) admitted receiving money from me, but refused tell me who was receiving it from them. I immediately imagined I was without auto insurance. After purchasing another auto warranty insurance policy to make sure I was insured, then learning that they also used a third-party billing service, and the original auto insurance company calling to inquire of the missed payment for this month, that I reasoned that I was dealing with two different third-party billing services companies, everything became clear then and the monies were all accounted for.
Automobile coverage
I joined Endurance Warranty on 2019 December 27. I needed brakes for my car and was turned down. They said there was a mileage discrepancy. I received an oil change at Jenkin's Hyundai on December 16th and they recorded my mileage at 49326. When I joined on the 27th of December I read my mileage at 46382. The company told me since there was a mileage discrepancy I was not covered and they refused to pay for my repairs. If Jenkin's Hyundai made a mistake before I even joined Endurance Warranty how can they use that mistake against my claim? Thank you, Harold Scott
Desired outcome: Either Endurance Warranty covers my claim or refund my payments for the 3 years I paid the.
Endurance warranty
Have warranty with Endurance. Had my car towed to a shop.in June . Supplied requested documentation on 3 separate occasions. Now Endurance is refusing to pay claim. They claim it was a pre existing condition. Spoke to 4 neutral , certified mechanics who all deny that it is impossible to determine when part failed . My car still in the shop. They 9/20/22 was called my claims rep who told me repairs would not be covered. I asked them to send me their decision in a email which they refused to do
Desired outcome: I want claim paid.
Extended automobile warranty
This complaint is against Endurance used car extended warranty. Address is 400 Skokie Blve., STE 105, Northbrook, IL 60062.
I requested information and pricing from Endurance and one other company for extended warranty on a used Lincoln MKS purchased for my wife. Since the quote was similar I elected to purchase the Endurance policy through the used car dealer, Jim O'Connor in Oconomowoc, WI. Since that was done in mid July I have received approximately 300 phone calls from Endurance "reps" usually just a recorded message. I have blocked the numbers from my phone but they persist in calling me at all hours of the day and NIGHT using a different phone number but leaving the same recorded message. I have spoken to 3 or 4 "reps" and told them that we already purchased their policy but they CONTINUE to call me. It is now HARASSMENT! Sometimes they will call 3 or 4 times in one day!
I recommend to anyone considering an extended warranty for a used vehicle to use ANY other company but Endurance. I am dreading the first time we need to actually use the policy. I can already envision the problems now.
Desired outcome: Let Endurance know what is going on with their harassing phone messages.
Misleading advertising letter.
I keep getting letters from them regarding a warranty policy on my new car. The vehicle that matches what they are saying in the letter has a 10-year 100,000-mile warranty on it, so I don't want or need a warranty with them. I have called at least 10 times to speak to Rebecca Patterson the Vehicle protection coordinator whose name is on the letter. She is a fictitious person; she does not exist. I want this company to remove my address from their database and stop sending me these letters. This company is a scam.
Desired outcome: Stop trying to rip me off.
Repair
Huge SCAM — If you have an used vehicle they will blame all the failures on “PRE-Existing Conditions” and won’t honor the warranty.
I signed with Endurance since July22 and unfortunately have a low cost repair (transaxle) that has been denied because Endurance Warranty is claiming this is a “PRE-EXISTING CONDITION” issue and they won’t cover.
I’ve met ALL the requirements before starting a claim (30days wait period and over 1k miles) but endurance still denies my claim.
Lawrence Sims, who sold me the warranty verbally confirmed that as long as I met all the requirements before starting a claim, I would not have any problems — FALSE INFORMATION.
My 2010 KIA FORTE had over 80k miles when I signed with Endurance. Everything that goes wrong Endurance Warranty will classify as “Pre-Existing Condition” and not fulfill the contract.
Endurance is highly untrustworthy and full of Misleading Information.
Endurance Warranty is a SCAM.
Desired outcome: Repair
Reimbursement
We had our transmission burn out back in the beginning of August. Car was repaired but not our reimbursement for trip interuption hasn't even been filed. I sent the receipts in Aug 15th like I was told and directly to claims specialist. She never processed anything not even notes in the system. Now she won't email me back at all Then was told to send to send another email to a different email so I did and nothing. None of the agents know or have correct info on what to do. I was transferred to a company that has nothing to do with my warranty. I just want to file my trip interuption reimbursement it's been almost a month and no progress has been made. Can't get to the correct department. Most unorganized company ever.
Desired outcome: I'd like a supervisor to call me and handle it, the whole process. I don't want to be transferred. I just want this submitted
Been 8 business days and no one has been to the dealership to approve the repairs.
Sunday, August 20th the transmission went out in our Nissan. It was towed to the local Nissan dealership. On August 23rd Endurance was contacted by the dealership to authorize repairs. Dealership was told an inspector would be out in 24 to 48 hours. It has now been 8 business days and still no Endurance inspection. Called Endurance 3 days in a row. Was assured an inspector would be right out. Still no inspector.
Desired outcome: Want our car repaired ASAP.
I just went through this. It took almost 2weeks before we got our car back. On the 3rd day of no inspection I called endurance claims dept and chose the option for I am the auto repair shop and spoke with them. The guy I spoke with was able to put a rush on it. Now we are having a hard time getting our reimbursement now .
Warranty contract/
This is a copy of the email I sent to the company that I want addresses as a complaint as well
We filed a claim regarding our dodge and had it taken to a repair facility. The mechanic advised that there was an inspection done 3-4 days after the mechanic got in touch with the claims rep. At that time, the claims rep started telling the mechanic that we had not completed our waiting period time and the policy was newer than we stated. When we spoke to customer service last Thursday, we double checked that we started the coverage when we thought we did July 15th) and asked if there were additional stipulations that were not disclosed in the contract language. The representative stated that we would be just as eligible as another for repairs and we completed the waiting period. After another almost week of waiting for a response, we finally got a callback from the mechanic who informed us that the rep said it wasn't going to be covered because the claim was 8 days over the waiting period and the rep thinks that we are trying to repair a vehicle we had with this problem for quite a while.
Ok. First of all, I'm an insurance auto claims rep too. I handled liability law for auto through Liberty Mutual for 16 years. I was also a state arbitrator for Arbitration Forums. I worked with SUI during a few of those years as well. I don't care what logic was there check the registration on the car and you'll see that we didn't have the car for a very long time and had just bought it earlier this year. I wonder if you don't let these claims reps information to the customer for fear that someone might retaliate because of their unprofessional and inconsiderate attitude as I've seen your company had multiple complaints. You need to make sure they know that without the contract buyers, they get no paycheck. So they should not just start throwing accusations out without any evidence to back it up because that exposed the company to a bad faith case where I can file a civil suit in a court of law for slander and for the fact that we paid for a contract through your warranty company and you have a duty to honor it properly. Not based on fact less opinions of the ignorant representative but based on cold hard facts that includes evidence.
I am asking for someone in your company to contact me and I would prefer a supervisor, manager or the director. Because this incident, as I called your company, I described as a noise I never heard before and had a hard time articulating what it was but I was sure it was coming from somewhere in the front end. Could have been the motor or the trans, I'm certified for auto repair estimating in all 50 states and I couldn't even identify what was causing the noise!
I want someone who is willing to conduct business and honor the contract language that I was given for this warranty. And I want to have a civil discussion about this situation. It should also be noted that your claims rep had been difficult to reach for the mechanic as well because the rep only made callbacks in the mornings and this mechanic works alone but has plenty to do. The claims rep noted that the mechanic had been difficult to reach but that was not true as we were able to get in contact on 4 occasions with the mechanic easily.
I'd rather have this proceed the way it was intended to by honor the language of the contract we paid for. We paid for your service and those details are the fine print. We were both aware of this when we traded money for the service. However, if you can't provide me with am ironclad reason this is not being honored, as in one of the reasons the contract language states, with viable evidence supporting the accusation,
I will proceed with a bad faith against your company with the intent to ensure that no one will be wrongfully denied again.
I'm sorry, from where I sit, the claims reps need to be trained more towards customer service and being respectful of the customers who made his paycheck come about. There are plenty of ways to address fraud cases if he has reasons to do so. But don't be a chicken and make false accusations behind the customer's back.
I want that representative on the phone with whichever supervisor or manager calls to address this email to apologize to me for their ignorance and failure to think before insulting a customer. I am asking for a call back within 48 hours of receiving this email understanding that it's a holiday weekend so probably call me on Thursday.
If a week goes by and there has been no response, I will be sure to file my civil case against the company for slander, failure to honor contract details and bad faith.
Now, for the complaints board, if this must be addressed with your group instead, then I'd like a logical and legal reason for the denial or a review for the claim to be approved if possible because the car just started making that noise on the way home from work for my husband that evening before.
--
Desired outcome: Honor contract language and approve or deny based on actual facts. Or a refund of the near $400 we have already paid the company.
refused to cover my car after I paid 1800$ of insurance
My ford escape 2012 has a broken master cylinder and problem with steering, they do not cover steering and refused the master cylinder because is leaking, the Ford dealer call them lot of time and they put them on hall, on the 7/22 to 7/24 I call them from my home phone, that is register with the insurance, about 5 times, it rang and hang, so I call from a cell and they answer on the spot, so they were playing games, well, let see how well they play when with my lawyer
Desired outcome: I want they to pay for my expenses, to repair the car, cannot drive with faulty breaks
Warranty fraud
They wrote me a policy with higher mileage on it than what the car had then I had a claim they refused due to wrong mileage wrote new policy was going to transfer all my money from old policy to new policy didn't happen Levon Sparks is the one who wrote the new policy took 4 whole days on hold 30 hours of holding finally canceled I think they wouldn't send...
Read full review of Endurance Warranty ServicesNot covering the front struts on my car. I have the Superior coverage
I took my car in to Classic Cadillac in Mentor Ohio and they said I need fronts struts. They put the claim in and Endurance denied it. I pay for Superior coverage which Struts are covered. Endurance keeps calling it shock absorbers which are not covered. I have called them over 25 times. Now I just want a letter why they are denying it. I have pictures of the bad struts from Cadillac and even Firestone auto.
I need a answer now!
Desired outcome: I need Endurance to honor the contract and pay for the Struts.

Extended Auto Warranty Service
The very worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my 66+ years. Took our 2015 Hyundai to the dealer on 7 Feb 2022 because of engine problems. Endurance was advised on 5 March 2022 and tried everything in its power to deny the claim. This included two trips to Texas from Endurance as well as two other requests for "pictures" of the engine components. After two months of this (March thru May), we finally received approval for replacing the engine in early May 2022.
However, Endurance directed the use of an engine that they provided (not one which Hyundai would provide). It was finally delivered and installed on May 15, 2022. No information regarding how long the replacement engine sat or if it had been cleaned of decontaminates before giving it to the dealer was provided. Vehicle was provided back to us on 22 May 2022.
Not two months later with the replacement engine, the engine light came on and acceleration was lost. Contacted the dealer and were advised to bring it in on 2 Jul 2022. After the holiday, we took the vehicle in (6 July 2022). Less than 1500 miles and the oil sensor and wiring went "belly up" due to sludge in the replacement engine requiring over $1300 to fix. Contacted Endurance who once again did everything in its power to deny the claim...even though the company is the one who sent the engine with defective parts. Who knows how long that engine sat in a junkyard and/or outside before it was sent to the dealer, i.e., internal parts and wiring would be dried out from climate and nonuse. The Endurance Contract states Endurance can provide “serviceable” replacement. In this case the engine they provided had ”unserviceable’ parts and should be covered.
Note that the comment from one of the agents were sarcastic and/or incorrect. One stated we had the vehicle since March 2022 and another made the remark "well it ran when it left the dealer didn't it?"
After asking the second agent (one passed me on to another) to speak with a supervisor was sent to a voicemail and no return call!
Finally received the car back on 15 July 2022. I have been without a vehicle for another ½ month on top of the previous 3 ½ months and $1372; all because I listened to the disinformation the company provided me on the phone and on TV. And to make matters worse, the dealer is recommending another $700 flushing to remove any remaining contaminants left in the engine provided by ENDURANCE.
I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy let alone a friend or colleague.
Below is what was provided to Endurance on 8 July with no response.
“I have tried to get your company to provide me the services I've paid for to no avail. You've directed your own engine to replace a defective one after a two month back and forth.
Now after requesting you fund the repair of defective parts on the engine you directed to be used, you are telling me it is not under warranty. Two agents and a voicemail not returned.
My next step now is to let the Texas AG and anyone on the internet who reads of poor consumer activities know the facts surrounding your companies denial of my claim. Let them make their own decisions on if they would ever use or recommend you.
This situation could have been avoided if your company would have accepted the responsibilities as it should have.”
Desired outcome: Pay most recent bill and any future bills associated with this engine. Ensure company does what is right by its customers instead of looking for reasons not to support them - even when Endurance is at fault.

Desired outcome: Return all I've paid in the past three years and pay the latest bill caused by Endurance sending faulty parts as part of an engine repair.
Car warranty
Endurance says that my mechanic only turned in that the timing belt broke in my car and that it will only replace it and the tensioner. Yet you can't replace these parts without replacing the bent valves, gaskets, water pump, motor mounts which by the way are covered in my plan and have to be changed when the belt breaks. Now I'm stuck with a$3700 bill to pay to have my car fixed after paying on my warranty for almost 3 years . They've did nothing but give me the run around for a month.
Desired outcome: Fix my car so all I have to pay is my $100 deuctable or refund all my money I've paid in so I can put it towards having my car fixed.
Endurance Vehicle Service Contract #CDY2001713
A cancellation form was received by your company on May 6, 2022. To date I have not received any refund or word of the status of the account. The contract was opened in October of 2021 and never used. the vehicle was traded to a dealer for a new vehicle.
Desired outcome: Would like a prorated refund for the unused portion of the contract which was paid in full in October 2021.
Endurance warranty
I already have an extended warranty for my vehicle from the dealership where I bought the car. These people are constantly bothering me, trying to sell me a warranty, saying my car is not covered and I have to buy their coverage. I have read the reviews and am not impressed with them. I can see from these reviews they are just scam artists and have asked...
