I had a parcel being delivered to this petrol station. Received an email asking me to collect it on Sunday 8 October. My mum went on my behalf with all the information I had received. Parcel refused. The female attendant working was rather smug saying there was no collection code. Fast forward the next day, I’d been in touch with the parcel courier who gave me a code. At this point I understand why the parcel wasn’t handed over but now armed with the code, I Went to collect the parcel, same attendant refused to give me it again. Despite seeing the code from the live chat with the courier and my ID. I contacted the courier again who was in disbelief and said to go back and show this new chat with the same code as before. I returned to the store where the same woman was serving and showed her the new live chat, my id and my tracking number for my parcel. Her reply was “fine” but she continued to question where my parcel was from (while it was in her hand) and when it arrived in the store. Given the fact she had worked all 3 times the parcel was being collected, she had seen all of my verification emails, my purchase emails and my email asking me to collect it. Being awkward for the sake of being awkward was not at all appreciated. She offered no help and made collecting a parcel an unnecessary 3 trip event. Her attitude was awful and I’ll no longer use that garage for anything due to her woeful customer service skills.
Desired outcome: Customer service training for said staff member.
