Etihad Airways I am complaint about delay departure

Hello, This is Nary Shin who took Etihad airplane on 13 July from South Korea to Egypt with my 2 children.
(EY 873, EY 653)
During a trip, it was terrible delay in ABU DHABI airport for the transit.
The flight attendant said, that is because of airplane defect not because of weather or natural phenomenon.
I was waiting more than 4 hours more than scheduled at that time.
This has completely ruined our family schedule.
Also my husband had to wait in 6 hours in Cairo airport during Covid situation.
I would like to ask that due to the regulations set out, adequate compensation will be made to my family.

Etihad Airways Refund of my cancelled flight with booking ID: HYOPVD

Hello Etihad Airways,

My name is Arage Ali with date of birth 04.01.1984. I booked a ticket for Etihad Airways from Frankfurt, Germany to Karachi, Pakistan with online agent called Lastminute.com (Bravo Fly) with booking ID:[protected] on 13.05.2021. The flight was scheduled for 19.05.2021 but unfortunately flight EY221 was cancelled by Etihad Airways and I am enclosing the snapshot of cancelled flight.

For this I had to reschedule the flight directly with Etihad Airways for another date on 22.05.2021 with booking ID: HYOPVD which was again cancelled by Etihad Airways (email snapshot enclosed). Similarly three times the flight was cancelled by Etihad Airways on 19, 22 and 26 May 2021.

On 21.05.2021, I called Etihad Airways located at Berlin Germany for the cancellation and refund of my ticket and the operator asked me to contact the online agent for the cancellation and refund of my ticket from where I originally booked my ticket. I requested the online agent the same and on timely basis and they processed my refund request, the snapshot for my refund process by Lastminute. de also enclosed for your review. Now after 2 months the agent is saying to contact the Etihad Airways for the cancellation and refund of my ticket.

I have travelled out of Germany with another airline and currently living in Karachi, Pakistan. I am completely at lost with this issue and don't understand why this is happening since I have informed everyone for the cancellation and refund on timely basis and yet I am still not getting my refund. I request you to please resolve this issue and refund my cancelled flight with Etihad Airways for the amount of Euro 354, 15 plus damage of Euro 20 which consists of payment for extension of my account operating charges in Germany and my credit card overdue charges into my account number IBAN: DE69643901300286360004 as soon as possible. I am in dire need of the my refund money and hope that you will resolve this serious issue. I am looking forward to your quick and urgent action on this issue.

Etihad Airways My Flight Was Cancelled

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your company cancelled the flight from Cairo to Maldives, flight No: EY656 on 13 july, 2021 ( 17:35 ) as shown in attached apology letter.

On which you have ruined my honeymoon trip 1st night which i already booked private pool villa for my 1st night and 4 nights in beach villa ( 6 days - 5 nights whole stay ).

I was supposed to arrive maldives on 14/7/2021 and leave on 19/7/2021 but due to your technical problem and flight cancellation. I lost my 1st night in maldives which i already paid it before with the honeymoon trip travel agency and make a new booking for private pool villa on 15/7/2021 and add one more night in beach villa on 19/7/2021 as shown in attached travel agency's receipt ( this happens because of your new flight booking that your stuff in cairo international airport told us it's the only solution we can offer, the new departure date will be on 15/7/2021 ).

I am therefore writing official complaint on behalf of me and my wife that has been tired two times while was waiting in boarding raw and no body cares from your side until they told us their solution after spending few hours in airport.

In accordance with Montreal Law and Regulation ( EC ) 261/2004, i herewith assert the following claim:

As you didn't find any solution to travel on the same and catch my honeymoon trip as planned,
I need total refund of attached travel agency's receipt.

I need a compensation for ruining my honeymoon dates as i should attend the 1st night of the holy Eid Al Adha holiday with my family in Egypt.

Your prompt action will be appreciated as i was supposed to travel with one of the biggest air lines in whole world.

Waiting your valuable reply before taking any legal actions and post scandal on social media.

Etihad Airways More than an hour delay and flight delay

My flight from Abu Dhabi airport took off at 2:25 minutes. It was delayed due to various reasons that are not correct. Then the official said you go without your luggage and it will catch up with you. Then, after many discussions, the flight was postponed until 7:00 pm, and this will not satisfy me and will not satisfy you as we transit from Kuwait From 10:05 from Kuwait Airport

Desired outcome: To be compensated for that does not satisfy anyone

Etihad Airways Flight delay by 4.5 hours

Tuesday 13/7 my flight from Abudhabi to Cairo was delayed 4.5 hours due to ground operation and cargo issues. cabin crew and captain was not allowing any one to leave the airplane the cabin was extremely hot and people strat shooting to crew and social distancing and masks went off. captin announced twice that he will take off within 10 minutes and he didn't. due to extreme hot temperature. child and old people got health issues and ambulance come to help after that only they allowed pessenger to leave cabin and enter Air conditioning area to wait for 4.5 hour to travel through same airplane.

Etihad Airways Refund delay

Hi Etihad team,
I booked a ticket booking ref: ZMIBRE 8 days ago from BEY TO BAH on Tuesday 13 july and BAH TO BEY on 28 September. The payment was processed for the amount 652.7 $ but the ticket was not confirmed. I called etihad refund team and amount was supposed to be refunded by now, but It is Not. I need the refund asap. I have to book another flight to Bahrain asap. Etihad Airways My travel to paris to sri lanka

I Veronica Letitia De Silva pass port number N 3027551 came to Paris from sri lankais on 9 th February 2020 with the COViD 19 situation I was unable to fly fly back to Sri Lanka as planed.
There for I waited till the airline call my return flight was fixed to 4 th July 2021
But I was informed just a few hours before flight through the agent that they cannot carry me as there is no connecting flight from Abu Dhabi Airport to CMB Sri Lanka
I would appreciate if you could inform me as to what the plan would be with me.

Etihad Airways Delayed baggage

I have been attempting to reach Etihad Washington Dulles due to an agent stopping my suitcase from arriving in Dubai via Abu Daubi. No one will respond and my trip is ruined. The Baggage claim person in Abu Daubi tried and no answers. I have no clothes to wear and no one will help outside in UAE. I am an American trying to enjoy my time and Etihad Washington Dulles agent ruined my trip.

Etihad Airways Sold me a ticket knowing I wasn't going to be able to complete my journey

Etihad sold me a ticket to travel to the United States from Abu Dhabi knowing there was a new ban put in place against the kind of visa i was traveling with. I had to purchase a extra flight to fly back home to Abu Dhabi which was an unnecessary extra expense. I would like to have my extra ticket i purchased refunded since Etihad should have told me I wasn't going to be able to fly before selling me the actual plane ticket.

Etihad sold me a ticket to travel to the United States from Abu Dhabi knowing there was a new ban put in place against the kind of visa i was traveling with. I had a layover in Frankfurt, Germany and wasn't able to arrive to my destination after being stopped in Germany. I had to purchase a extra flight to fly back home to Abu Dhabi which was an unnecessary extra expense. I would like to have my extra ticket i purchased refunded since Etihad should have told me I wasn't going to be able to fly before selling me the actual plane ticket.

Etihad Airways Refund

Hi Etihad,

I booked a ticket using the Edreams site and later I could see that you guys canceled my ticket.
So I contacted Edreams and they informed me that they already requested Etihad for a refund on 4th June 2021, however, till now they did not receive any refund from you.

Could you please expedite the process and refund the amount ASAP?

I am really disappointed with the response, I received from professional number 1 international Airline carrier.Recently my flight EY 0241 outbound for Lahore and EY242 inbound to Abudhabi had been canceled where i called twice to Etihad Customer Care where I put on hold around one hour without any further response in each csll. I visited to the Etihad Airways (Madinat Zayed) where I was unsatisfied with the response towards my ticket cancellation. They told me that they are unable to book me in for any other flight and unable to refund my ticket where I bought the ticket from Etihad Airways website. they put me hang again with customer care where again I lost my time and phone credit without any assistance. Now I need assistance to refund my money or else I shall reserved my consumer rights to launch a complaint in higher authorities.

The same is the case here as well with the same flight 0242 outbound from LHE dated July-27th. the email received yesterday states of having either the booking rescheduled to some other date or cancelled/refunded but when both the options are exercised at etihad.com/manage it responds with the system failure prompt stating 'We are unable to process your request at this time' and redirects to the airlines contact window where in my current country 'Pakistan' the number provided has automated options and again directs to the same etihad.com/manage page which initially is already unable to process my request. this is so frustrating and requires for a flight cancellation to have better assistance from the airlines where the passenger despite paying the amount in full instead of being at ease or planning further stuff is pinched with such issues. better is what we hope from etihad airlines which has its own reputation globally.

I'm really sick and tired of dealing with Etihad. It's been a year and I'm not getting a refund on my tickets that hasn't been used. I have contacted many agents, no documentation is done no call recording is pulled. I'm really stressed out and I'm not getting my matter resolved with Etihad. The worst customer service Etihad has.

Etihad Airways No Credit for Unused Portion of Ticket

On August 31, 2020 I purchased 2 Etihad roundtrip tickets to Abu Dhabi on Expedia since the Etihad website had been and still was down and it was the last day to purchase no change fee tickets at the time. Our confirmation Number was TVXELI. My daughter had checked with the US Embassy in the UAE and they told us we could get a visa on arrival. When we arrived in Chicago on American Airlines, we were told we could not fly into Abu Dhabi and the supervisor told us we would have to take another airline the rest of the way into Dubai at our additional expense. Our Etihad roundtrip ticket was changed a few times due to your changes or our extended stay. We did use our return Etihad ticket on February 27, 2021, but were told we could not receive a credit for the remaining part of our outbound flight. I called many times. All airlines give credits for unused ticket portions. I would like a credit for 2 persons for Flight # 150 from Chicago to Abu Dhabi on October 25, 2020. I would have written sooner, (although I spoke to agents many times while in Abu Dhabi), but I have been ill. I hope you ca resolve this issue so I do not have to take this matter any further and continue to fight. Please advise me if you need itinerary or boarding passes. Etihad Airways Round trip 3 tickets (economy) yyz to cai

Booking Ref: HTQWCK, Flight changed twice by Etihad airways, I accepted the first change as a courtesy, but the second changed came with a suggested layover of 16 hours for my wife and two kids to stay on a chair at the airport; this is totally unacceptable. whats adding more salts on a salty plate is that I have been promised three times over recorded calls that a supervisor will contact me within an hour or two of me calling to solve this problem for my wife and kids tickets; the thing that never took place, I urge Mr. Jay (as an example) to stand up for his words "we contacted the airport in Abu Dhabi to get you seats and I promise calling you tomorrow or after"... which is again a false statement... this seems to be etihad airways... long hours waiting over the phone to talk with clueless representatives... then with false promises to solve the problem... please listen to the calls and read the notes over this cases and have the face to reply...

I wanted to inform Itihad that I have been extremely disappointed with the way Etihad is handling my parents (Mathew Ayrukuzhil John and Soosamma Mathew), refund for cancelling their flight tickets. Due to covid, my parents had cancelled their flight from India to Usa during December of 2020 and have yet to receive a refund. I have called Itihad numerous times, and each time they put me on hold and just give me the run around telling me to wait a week and try again. My family has been flying with you guys often, but now this will be the last time we would, because of your poor customer service.

Etihad Airways Canceling our flight Reference to Booking # CRUVQE without our knowledge

Dear sir,

Reference is made to the below email from Etihad Airlines regarding the latest flight schedule update. Therefore, I called Etihad Airlines customer service to clarify the flights plan schedule from Dammam to Manila via Abu Dhabi that shows the original flight EY2526 from Dammam to Abu Dhabi on May 23 2012 @ 21:15 and Connecting flight EY424 scheduled on May 22 2021 @ 23:45 which is a day before from originated from Dammam. So, Etihad Airlines customer service told me that is correct and by the way all flights to Manila were postponed by the Philippines until further notice. He also, asked me if I want to refund the money to bank account with Etihad airlines and my response was NO and keep me posted the flight changes. He said I will receive an email now of the flight schedule changes. Unfortunately, I didn't received any email regarding the flights postponement or rescheduling. So I called again today May 17 2021 inquiring about our flights schedule confirmation and after so much encountering hassles with customer service to prove myself to her even though I gave her the booking code, my name, my email and contact number, she was still asking my flight dates and number where she can see that under the booking number. So, after all she told all our flights were canceled on May 16 2021 per our request which is that incorrect to ask to conceal travel plan we had booked and awaited for a longer time to make our journey. Nevertheless, after she realized there was mistake was made by the airlines, she offer a new flight plan on June 17 2012 which much passes our traveling plan and whatever arrangements built on that from hotels booking and family planning. Thereafter, I asked to find us a flight soon than May 17 because that is so much far off from our original flight plan. The customer service agent stated she has no alternative plan for us to rematch our flight plan and the only way is she will send an email to her manager to take care of this matter and I should receive a call before of the end of day today. We have 4 hours Saudi time before the entering May 18 and I hope i will receive a solution before that.

Etihad Airways Overall reclamation

Dear Sir or Madam

Mail from 2nd May:

Ms. MM and I just arrived at Abu Dhabi Airport (Flight EY074 from Zurich). Unfortunately, there are some negative points we want to tell you.

First of all, the baggage of Ms MM was completely damaged through lack of care. You can find a few pictures to see the damage. We definitely have to purchase new baggage.

Furthermore, the coordination at the airport was very weak. No information, no displays and especially no staff to talk to. We were not informed about the second PCR test we had to do.

In addition, it was not clear and easy at all to find the shuttle service. The waiting station was not comfortable and no food or drinks were offered.

Due to the delay of the bus service I have contacted your hotline support to find another solution. Your colleague offered me a bus service at 11 PM (30 minutes after arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport). Even the long waiting at the passport control and the not mentioned second PCR-Test took us more than an hour. This confirms that there is a lack of transparency of processes and staff.

This was my first experience with Etihad Airlines and I can tell you that this was a really bad experience.

I hereby want to find a solution and look forward to hearing from you soon.
