Account suspended after filing harassment claim against another shop
I have 3 etsy shops, one for nearly 2 years and 2 newer ones with different niches selling seasonal sweaters and graphics. In august I received a copywrite infringement claim on a sweater that I know with 100% certainty isnt copywritten. I reached out to the complaining shop who at first denied it, then stating that is was their "artisen" that filed it but she didn't have internet and couldn't' be reached to withdrawal it. I had the same sweater on my other shop as well and received a copywrite infringement on that shop the following day from the same shop. I contacted the shop again and told them I was going to report their shop to etsy for filing false infringement claims, which caused the shop to begin harassing me through email. Within the multipl emails, the shop owner admitted to being banned from etsy previously for "waging war" on other shops, they admitted to falsly claiming infringement and that they would continue to do so unless my sweater was priced higher then theirs, the threatened to get my shop shop down, among many other natsy things. I reported the harassment and bullying to etsy 4 different times in september, and one of the 4 times received a human response that said they would reach out to the other shop. The harassment continued and I again reported the harassment, to no avail by etsy. I received an email in october from turst and safety that said because of multipl copywrite infringement claims, my accounts were permanently suspended. I appealed the suspension and provided screenshots of the harassing emails admitting to falsely filing infringements, claims, (16 to be exact), I included my claims to etsy reporting the harassing and bullying and false claims, as well as proof that all 16 claims came from the same shop owner and no one else. I received nothing from etsy except for basic emails response that said it can't be appealed. For a company that claaims to take bullying and harassment seriosu as well as following their policies, they did nothing to protect me, and instead punished me. They are currently holding nearly $4k in funds as well that I can access.
Desired outcome: I want my shops reopened and my funds released.
Shut down my etsy account
Etsy shut down my etsy store we had since 2011 we paid them over $200,000.00 in commissions. We can't ship our orders on hand because we don't have access to our etsy account. We emailed them 10 times in a week and No response. They have distroyed our business and shut it down.
Four weeks ago, I was locked out of my Etsy account for no known reason and can not get a customer service representative to complete the process of reopening my account, despite me providing security information to them twice now!
They are taking weeks at a time to respond to my support requests but they just suggest the same things and it's always a new customer representative getting in touch, who clearly has no idea of what I have already provided! I have also been asked to change my password which I have done as well as approve a small fund in my account, which I can no longer do as I can not get into my account. Please help as soon as possible!?
I am really frustrated as I have missed my opportunity to sell my Christmas cards and there is no phone number or web chat to actually speak to a human customer representative. I have worked really hard around my full time job, to get account up and running properly.
I am very disappointed in Etsy as a service and will not be recommending them if they do not help as they should.

I ordered this band on 10/21/2022. I was told delivery would be by 11/4/2022. On 11/5/2022, I contacted the seller to see where the band was as the tracking info showed it had not moved since pick-up. Nickston thanked me for my patience and assured me the band would be found and sent in a matter of days. They would let me know. A few days later, they told me it was not there fault that USPS did not move the band but was still trying to locate it. Finally, they located the package and instead of sending it to me, for some unknown reason, the USPS decided to return it Nickston. They told me this as though this was a good resolution and assured me once they received the package, Can you imagine? once they received the package, they would then return my money. Well I did get my money. I never got the band. Nickston is in my opinion a terrible representation of your company. I will never buy from Etsy again.
Account Banned Wrongfully with no Reason provided by Etsy, and they stole my money in full for having products on their site for a few days.
Created a new sticker printing store, where I do almost everything by myself including creating designs, handling shipping, and running the shop.
After one week with Etsy, they suspended my account without reason or explanation, and stated i would receive an email with more details soon.
It has been two weeks and they have not sent me an email nor replied to my repeated contact attempts and requests for an explanation. They simply charged my credit card and then shut my store down without notice or reason.
Desired outcome: I want my money back and I want to see Etsy penalized for the hundreds if not thousands of innocent storefronts they've shut down and stolen money from without reason.

Candy Cane Christmas Wreath
My name is Lisa Mitchell. My email address is [protected]@verizon.net. My intent was to order a Christmas Wreath from QiuXiaodesignShop. This "Fake" Merchant advertised a wreath in the amount of $56. 00. Of course, I didn't see the rating until after order the wreath. I see this merchant has numerous complaints but is allowed to continue to advertise this non-existent item. Etsy should have terminated this site at once. This person even goes as far to sending a fake delivery receipt that is sent to an "incorrect" address. I was the latest victim and want this site taken down immediately.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back, but I know that is not going to happen. However, I will probably not be shopping with ETSY any longer.
I'd like a human being to contact me and help me resolve my problem with registering with plaid and I want my shop restored.
After 12 years as a seller (and buyer) on Etsy, with a 4.9 customer satisfaction rating, my shop was closed and I was banned from the platform with no explanation other than not meeting their "terms of service."
Etsy recently required shop keepers to verify their bank accounts with Plaid. I could not get Plaid to accept my bank account, the one I have been using with Etsy for all 12 years. I followed all the directions, including contacting my bank and contacting Etsy and even trying to contact Plaid. No luck.
Etsy however didn't respond to my requests for help other than to send me the same directions I had already followed. Any request for more help was followed by silence. There was a deadline: they said that if you didn't verify with Plaid, your account would be suspended.
I filed several pleas for help. I finally complained about being ignored. I just received a letter which simply banned me — for good.
I'm currently awaiting a refund from an Etsy seller — and have no idea how I will ever receive it since I have no account!
I would like an explanation.

I placed an order for a music box #[protected] for $231.21 with Ismael on the 30th October 2022. as per attachment screen shots of my messages, Ismael assured me that he would have the box finished in a week. I also paid extra express shipping on the 02/11/22 as advised and set up by Ismael to ensure that the music box would get to me on time before a very special occassion. I expressed to Ismael that this is for a christening for my God Son, so it is obviously very important to me. He continued to send me messages saying that he would have it completed ASAP (all messages are in my account under Jodie smith ([protected]@yahoo.com. sg, mb: [protected])
Ismael communicated every time saying that he would have it done asap, messaging me again on the 2/11/22, he was going to send me the audio file, but I got nothing. Sent another message saying he would complete it on the 05/11/22, but he did not. Then monday 06/11/22 he sends a strange message saying he doesn't have enough information. When I replied telling him I sent the music file when I ordered it on the 30/11/22, and I thought he would have already sent the box. He responds annoyed saying this is impossible and cancelled the entire order, 3 days before the Christening. This has got to be the worst customer service and dishonest thing I have ever experienced. It has turned me off Etsy. Are the reviews on Etsy false? if this is the type of sellers you attract, I am happy to shop elsewhere. So disappointing.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund within 2-5 days , so this should be in my account by the 15th November 2022 andI would like Etsy to contact this seller and warn him of his disgusting conduct.

I purchased 5 China dinner plates and o e platter from this shop with supposedly free shipping. The items came poorly packaged in a flimsy diaper box and ALL THE PLATES were broken.
I paid $64 plus $17.05 POD.
I asked the owner for a refund and she refused and was completely rude and unprofessional!
She told me it was USPS fault and to file with them for $50 insurance which doesn’t cover the cost of items plus the shipper has to do this and she should be the one to file with them and take the $50 and refund my $81.05.

Micro managing, making it impossible to comply
First off, (well not FIRST - Etsy has been steadily going downhill for a while!) etsy requires sellers to register with a shady company (Plaid) that has/had major security issues. Then why I try to comply, they make it impossible, won't link my bank, tell me the codes I entered were incorrect - they weren't - then suspended my account. Then it is virtually impossible to contact a real person, so now I have no recourse. Stay away. You're better off selling on other platforms. Not only have they lost me as a seller, they have lost me as a customer as well!
Financial institution
This is the problem I am have if for over two years now. I m getting no answers or help. I am not able to update my financial institution. Now it has been suspended. I have explained my situation several times. I am beyond irritated with this situation! It would be very nice if I could talk to someone about this situation. 8/30/22 Ordered Lion Sitting on The Pedestal made of marble powder, bronze, handpainted for $80.00 plus 19.97 shipping. Credit card was charged 99.97.
What I didn't see on the confirmation was that the order was changed to a rubber latex lion...invoice stated unit was with shipping was $77.40. Didn't get anywhere with Amy who I replied to on the shipped email. Now on their web, it
states the lion I actually ordered is out of stock. I'm due a refund of $22.57. What are my chances of getting that? Totally dissatisfied with this whole situation. I ordered one thing, then it was switched on the confirmation which I didn't notice. This is a worthless piece of latex.

Both orders were supplied by MonarchicStore. I have contacted them several times requesting details of where to return the unwanted items. So far, they have told me that I need to return them to China but have provided no further details, such as address etc.

Temporary Suspended Account
My account/store is temporarily suspended for listing fees. I've paid the listing fees but it was through the "Close Account/Shop" section. This was the only way to pay the .40 balance.
Customer service is non-existing. I have all the names of the ones who were of no help on the basic level. They kept transferring to different departments. And this was through the chat line. And now the chat line seems not to exist anymore and I have to use email to get in touch with someone from the company.
To make matters worse, when using email it tells you it will take 1-2 days to get a response. However, I got an email from Raven saying it'll take about 7 days to get a response from anyone at the company. SEVEN DAYS?! That is seven days too long.
Etsy needs to do better concerning customer service.
Could someone please help me with this issue?!
I just saw that my issue has been marked as "resolved". It has not been resolved. My account is STILL suspended and now, the chat line has been DISABLED.
This is a billion-dollar company and yet, they cannot get decent customer service? Anything that anyone is saying on here about this company is NOT defamation but the truth.
I really want to get this company the benefit of the many doubts that are being said about it but Etsy is NOT doing its job.

Historic defamatory customer review
Due to personal issues my Etsy shop has been on Holiday mode since late last, year and I have not looked at either the shop manager or the public page, as my intention at the time was not to reopen the shop in the foreseeable future until all issues were resolved, when I went to remove this mode and reopen my shop yesterday I was horrified to read the following review left on 15-12-2021.

Not once in my 69 years as a person, or my 20 years as a seller, has my honesty ever been questioned, I have never been, or been accused of being 'rude' to a customer, this is not how I do business.
On reading this review I reached out to the customer, perhaps on this occasion I could have worded my response better, but it was honest and heartfelt at the time and I stand by what was said. I had intended to paste below all messages between the customer and myself but as the supposedly improved messaging system, designed to combine all messages on the one thread appears to delete originals and only show the last five and, said messages do not appear to be being sent through the email system, there is no record of the initial message and several of the responses, I think the customer will likely be breathing a sigh of relief as they contain several statements that can be proven to be untrue.
My request is that the review in question be removed and notification sent to the customer that this sort of review/ language is not acceptable, it is public deformation of character and punishable by law, should Etsy decline to follow up on this, I will consider them complicit.

Ordering gift cards / customer service
Tried to order gift cards for my daughter. Order went through, 5 days later, I get an email about it being canceled. I contact customer support, they ask me five questions. I answered them thinking everything will be taken care of...Nope. Email from a different customer support responds with me being banned permanently. Really! This is how you treat customers. Payment not received; permanently suspended account without explanation; no response to emails
I have had an account with etsy since 2014. Recently, Etsy had tried to deposit $156 in my account balance. The transaction failed because I had changed the bank account linked to etsy (same bank, different account #). I went through the steps with etsy to link a new bank account and received an email confirming the new link. Subsequently, however, etsy froze my account because of unspecified "security" issues and has not deposited the balance of $156. I have repeatedly asked through email and chat for more information. I received two emails that asked for answers to five simple questions. I sent the emails, but nothing. No response from Etsy support. Days and days, still nothing. And even more recently, I received--out of the blue--and email informing me that my account has been "permanently suspended" because of violation of selling policies. Now, I have only two items on etsy: a small antique mirror and miniature ceramic salt shakers from the 1930s. There are over 5,000 mirrors for sale on etsy. I have no idea how I could have violated selling policies especially because I pattern each listing after existing ones--and I have had no problems for the past eight years.
Desired outcome: Etsy deposits to my bank account the stranded balance of $156.

WOW! I am shocked to see the number of others who have gotten the shaft by Etsy just as I did. They are liars, thieves and idiots. They have pocketed peoples money into their own pockets and lied about why items were removed. They are idiots for not listening and understaning COMMON SENSE, They must not be from the States either because they dont understand plain simple English or how to run a business. I am extremely agitated and pissed off at Etsy. I now only sell on Ebay and am also looking for other positve venues to try.

Etsy tried to accuse me of selling a pornographic picture in my shop. THIS IS NOT PORNOGRAPHY, IT IS ART!
Took down my listing and yet left other identical pictures of PALS by Piglhein up for sale. They would not listen to anything I had to say. They type from a script and do not speak english. They do not understand anything. Come on over to Ebay to see all my beautiful prints, I no longer sell on Etsy. They are gonna drive themselves out of business for sure.
