I have been on etsy since 2012 with no issues. I have been with you all through highs and lows. if you felt something i was selling isnt sellable then remove that post not my entire etsy. I have worked very hard and now all down the drain. You all treat small business owners so bad and customer service doesnt no anything. just horrible. They never Said which listing.

I purchased a blanket from the above Etsy vendor on 4/2/22, transaction [protected] for $90. Plus $5.40 tax and $.60 round up for a total of $96.00. She said she was really busy with other orders and Easter gifts and I agreed to give her some extra time to get my blanket done since it was a special order full size blanket. The first shipment of the blanket was 5/7/22 thru usps with a tracking number that didn’t work for me. She claimed the package was severely damaged but that she would get reimbursed by usps since it was insured. Some more time went by and she said she made me another blanket mailed by ups with another tracking number that I couldn’t trace. This time claiming the package was lost due to the mailing label being ripped off it. She had made excuse after excuse and I’ve not received any blanket, no merchandise at all for $96.00 being spent which she received. I’ve sent her messages which go unanswered now. I would like some satisfaction for this purchase, my money back or the blanket. Can you help me? Below is the email from Etsy where it clearly states that the refund was issued straight from my Etsy balance. I closed my shop on Etsy and went else where as fees are crazy. Either way I was never made aware that you never received the refund. My account with Etsy was completely closed and I owe them nothing I have no idea what the issue really is. As far as the messages you were made aware step by step of what was going on and I agreed completely with you and agreed that you deserved the refund as the 2 incidents were just to much for you to continue to deal with as well as I since not you or I can control the shipping carriers. I now sit here with 2 blankets one had to be washed and it’s fine and the other is still in the box. Which is not your fault and I’m so sorry I have no idea what else I can do on my side as the refund was issued successfully and my account with Etsy is closed with no balance owed. I don’t mind if you want to keep the review up that’s your choice I just ask that you removed my personal name and maybe your personal address as I don’t think it’s safe.once again I apologize I hope you have a nice day :)
I found all the emails at this point I believe it’s fair to say that the refund was issued period. I would appreciate if you kindly removed this complaint as I have never had any issue with my shop and although this has done any damage it just doesn’t look good for on the shop but now I believe you either. A broken watch
I was sold a broken watch that I bought for Father’s Day. The box was dented, the watch didn’t work at all in the light the box came in didn’t work. I reached out to the seller they refused to return my money. They wanted to sell me another broken watch. Etsy did nothing about it impact the seller. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on Esty. I just recently closed my account with them and will never purchase on them again. If you’re a scammer this is a great site for you to sell your stuff on.
Desired outcome: I want my money back.
Etsy Messaging
My messaging functionality was disabled for "spam" even though I have never sent an spam mails nor are there mails in my sent items that would even come close to a spam mail (from unauthorised access etc). I tried to raise three support tickets to fix the issue. The first was ignored, the second was closed without resolution, and the third is currently open... awaiting a response with bated breath.
Desired outcome: Re-enable my messaging functionality. Actually do an investigation when someone marks a message as spam to prove it is legitimate before enacting an account sanction.
Poor reviews still on my store even though the product is no longer available
I had two poor reviews for an item on my Etsy store. I deleted that product from my store. I since made available a newer product. I also have one more item. Both items are different from each other. The problem I am having is the poor reviews for the now deleted product are still there. Only two reviews on my store. They are reflecting on my products and especially my new one.
Desired outcome: Please remove the reviews for a product that does not exist.

I just don't get it. Etsy is full of paintings, wall hangings, posters, framed art, stickers, digital files, you name it, containing images of rock, rap and country music artists.
But if you put those images on a t-shirt you will get suspended.
I had done my research before I started my shop. I read about a successful rap music shop on Etsy that said if they get notices from copyright holders they just take that content down, which is what I planned to do. Instead Etsy just shut me down after I had a few things taken down by Etsy after copyright complaints.
It's the double standard that I don't get. Why some products and not others. It's not fair or OK.
I had my shop taken down in June of 2022. I had another very successful shop where there weren't any problems. They took that down too.
I told them I would just take down the shop that had problems, but asked them to please leave my other shop up.
I spent a lot of money advertising that shop on social media (the successful one).
Desired outcome: Restore One Of My Shops That Had No Issues.

I had to chase my money through Etsy. not ez. they turned off phone and e-mail support. 12 day I paid INTEREST! How do I get that back? Or my time and effort. This is BAIT AND SWITCH fraud. SUE them. class action NOW!

Account closed buyer refunded and receiving the product without ETSY contacting us the Seller
Good day, a item was posted to a a buyer. They complained after 2 weeks of not receiving the parcel. The parcel was sent via airpost as per Item Advertisement. There is currently a international back log due to cofid and the current on going war. This was out of our control. The client now got the item and Etsy took the money of my account without contacting us. The tracking number was supplied as soon as item was shipped. After getting in touch with ETSY . The representative just stated they had no wrong doing and are allowed to refund a customer as they see fit. So for a parcel being delayed by a week out of our controll Etsy took our money gave it back to the client. And the client recieved there parcel absolutly free. This is theft and unacceptable.

Desired outcome: I would like the items money to be paid back into my Etsy account by Etsy and re instate my account that they closed without any reason caused by one complaint that was a international delay caused by a war that is out of our control.
Seller Platform
The company has started removing items they deem unfit for Etsy.com, the explanation given to us was that our items contain "regulated items" (batteries) but the listings they removed do not contain batteries.
There is no option to appeal this review, not place to reply, and their help / support page is broken, this is utterly pathetic and sadly exactly the kind of game you can expect from heartless, ugly big business today.
Desired outcome: Fix your help / support page, allow appeals, have publicly reachable email addresses, have some integrity, do not hide behind your large, faceless anonymity like a Facebook troll.

Etsy will not let me know why my shop was closed and now holding my funds. They won’t reply to my emails and won’t let me know why my shop was closed or release my money although orders were already done.
Shop closed on June 26th. They are re holding over $1,000 no open orders from me Hoodoo Spells Shop.

A mother and daughter fraud claiming to own the site
Honestly the Etsy app is supposedly run by a really rude mother claiming her daughter is saving up money for a bike. The last I checked Etsy was owned by the headquarters company not a random family . They literally scammed me out of my money I paid 18 dollars for one phone case ir should be 5 dollars not 18. But why would a 12 year old be selling sex toys off of Etsy that’s not appropriate at all for her mother to allow her to do that . I would like to get in touch with the real owner who owns it not some random person who claims to own it when I visited the site .

To whom it may concern,
I had opened a shop with Etsy and had a range of products which I designed myself and then they were made with the help of a printing company for production assistance – this is stated in there policy that this is allowed.
Through this shop I had made sales to very happy customers and understood that being a new shop owner Etsy puts any sale funds into a payment reserve for 90 days in which after that the payment reserve is lifted and the amount in reserve is available for deposit into the shop owner (in this case myself) bank account.
Friday the 10th of June 2022 my payment reserve was lifted and funds due to go into my account within 3 days, within that 3 days my account was suspended and my funds stated $0.
I received an email to say that my account has been closed due to policy violations which I was not aware of as in the best interest of my shop I thought adding my logo to items was allowed but Etsy has flagged some of my items as not hand made.
Etsy also states this below
“Upon termination, any non-disputed Available Funds will be deposited into a seller’s bank account. Etsy reserves the right, upon termination of access to Etsy Payments, to set off against any payments to be made to the seller, an amount determined by us to be adequate to cover any anticipated charge-backs, refunds, adjustments or other amounts that might be paid to buyers in connection with purchases from the seller's payment account for a prospective 180-day period.”
At the time of my account being closed (3 days after the payment reserve was lifted) I was not in dispute with any of my funding – Etsy states that this would be deposited into the seller’s bank account (myself) – Etsy did not do this.
My customers have all received their orders (tracking can be provided for each) – so there are no funding disputes.
I have contacted Etsy 6 times in relation to my funds and have filed a appeal to have my suspension lifted, as I am a very honest person and learnt what mistakes I made.
I have raised the following Tickets and appeals with Etsy – with no response and a message at the bottom of these Tickets to say - This request is complete. Etsy has not responded.

My appeal to Etsy as below.
I’m writing in regards to my Etsy store HuskyDust, which was recently suspended. My store sells ecommerce print-on-demand items, including sneakers, blankets, mousepads and plush animals etc.
After reviewing Etsy’s terms of service, I see that some of my items which I thought could be customized with just my logo are not classed as own handmade items or designs.
I am truly sorry about this and I promise to make the following changes in my shop to prevent any further incident, I have removed all the listings that only have my logo attached to the product, you will find that the items there now are all designed by myself and made with the help of production assistance. (I have removed all the items that I thought could be customized with my logo)
I appreciate the opportunity to sell my products on Etsy, and I hope you can understand and lift the suspension on my shop.
I would like this matter addressed and reviewed as a matter of urgency as Etsy is now holding my funds for 180 days, which is unfair and unreasonable considering there are no payment disputes.

On May 26, I ordered a cup with personalized inscription. I was given tracking information that it would be delivered 6-4 to 6-17. I received an email that it was delivered to a lock postal box on 6-5-22. The cup was not in the box. When I contacted ETSY via email, the representative Kristin very rudely stated that I look on a porch, at neighbors or other places. I replied that it was delivered to a LOCK box. So I requested a refund. She again rudely said that it was confirmed delivered and would not give a refund. She also stated that I contact the shipper. They are the shipper so therefore they were responsible for delivery to correct address. This is the 2nd time we have had difficulty with the ETSY.com seller.
Desired outcome: full refund or replacement. A sincere apology and credit for any other future purchase.
I am due a refund
In April of this year I orddered table runners from Nashima Home Decor, an Etsy seller. The items did not work out and I requested permission to return them. Was told I would get a no-charge return label. Took one month to get the label, it was expired. Requested again. Got two labels, on for each table runner. I retuned the items via UPS on May 7, 2022. I was told a refund would be forthcoming with 12 hours. It is one month later, still no refund.
Nashima Home Decor does not want to take any responsibility, puts it off on Etsy. Etsy is unreachable — I get emails from them that are 1) non-return, and 2) contain a url for customer service that is non-existant.

I am hoping you can help me. I am getting extremely frustrated by the service or lack of I have received from the above company. I made an order on 13/02/22 and the item was not dispatched nor received. I chased the seller on 17/04/22 and received an automated message. I then contacted her on 10/05 and received the same automated message. I then requested 'help with my order' the same day advising that my order did not arrive, nor was it dispatched and I would like a refund, and I am still without a response. I have been to chase the matter again today, and the person nor company shows as unavailable. I am so disappointed and feel completely ripped off.
