Another Etsy self-serving policy!
Proudly resolving customer complaints since 2004? How about seller complaints? It's all over your forum and you ignore it! No refund for PAID shipping labels after ten days? If the label is waiting to be used by buyer for 10 days or more, and is not used, obviously that label is not ever going to be used! So, WHERE"S THE MONEY, ETSY? Your fees are not high enough already? The Etsy deniable plausibility attitude toward sellers will kill you, in the end. But, you'll just open another platform under a different name, and start all over again - won't you?

Account Suspension
On 3/23/21 my account was suspended. The explanation was counterfeit. AT NO TIME has my products referenced a designer. "Designer inspired" is the description used. I have emailed you with no response. This is a complete lack of professionalism. At this point in time, I consider this discriminatory as there are multiple other sellers using brand names in their descriptions such as NIKE, DIOR, GUCCI, and the list goes on. I will be filing a formal complaint along with proof of the other vendors products. Why are these other vendors still allowed to sell online? During these times of financial hardship, Etsy is prohibiting small businesses and entrepreneurs to earn an income. I'm sure Etsy is earning plenty of income on all vendors using their platform. I am willing to take further action upon Etsy to right this wrong doing. My guess is a competitor made some false accusation and etsy responds without review. That competitor most likely continues to sell and make a living.

Cancellation of account without explanation & poor customer service
The cancellation of my account without explanation was out of the blue, with non-existent customer service. Like you are dealing with some badly programmed bots.

I ordered a clock from this service. It arrived broken and i note the glass had not been well protected. The supplier then proceeded to blame customs for breaking the clock. The contacts with the merchant deteriorated into insults. i will supply you with the emails.
I simply want to be treated with some respect. The clock was severely damaged in transit and my jeweller cannot repair it.
The accusations they have made against me are abused and clearly an insult to the corporate ethic at Etsy.
Desired outcome: I just want the clock I ordered, in working an unbroken condition. I am unfazed by the aggressive insults and threats but I would hate to see anyone else subjected to this kind ff customer service at Etsy.

I purchase a pair of pants and they have lining in them, I tried telling him this but he kept throwing me off. They were just too small because big hips and they will not fit me unless he refuse the pants. I want a refund for them and I absolutely asked him several times and now he wants to respond to anything… I was very disappointed because I really wanted the pants, but he wants to respond back so we can talk about it. I never had a problem with any order, I love shopping on this website bout many of things and why he had to mess this up. I am very sorry I had to do this.

I rarely complain about anything and I'm not the type of person who is activist or interested in garnering attention. I'm just a recent retiree who has lived his entire life in LA Ca., who is deeply concerned about the future and wellbeing of my country. I am well aware of the 1st Amendment implications of this request/complaint and in no way wish to promote violating anyone's rights. However, I also realize if ETSY chooses not to distribute a particular book, they (you) are not forced or compelled to do it.
As soon as I learned about the details of the book, I felt very compelled to write. If you weren't already aware, this book is pure evil. Books like this are explicitly created as propaganda tools for the CCP and other evil doers. It teaches American citizens to hate their own country and is supported by the Chinese Communist Party! The material in this book is absolutely NOT TRUE! Every argument/essay can be easily proven untrue by irrefutable FACTS! The fact that this book is fact-less helps to prove my point.
It is my strong opinion, along with thousands of other Americans, that this book, and others like it, are intended to weaken American pride which in turn, over time, lessons the overall physical, social, emotional and intellectual strength of American men and women. Importantly, the book is extremely detrimental because in order to maintain strength and peace, and to win any future wars, it is imperative that American men remain strong, confident and proud as warriors. This book contains material meant to foster men with just the opposite characteristics.
Recent events and current political climate has clearly shown that the CCP, with the support of many hundreds of leading democrats, have been working for decades to sabotage America and win what I call a "silent war against America."
If you really think about it, this book is just another example of China and the left's ongoing effort to pit Americans against each other, while at the same time, weakening our ability to defend ourselves politically, financially, and socially. Therefore, by choosing to distribute books like this, ETSY is contributing to ongoing and relentless attacks on our country while playing right into the CCP's evil narrative. I'm simply asking you to STOP contributing to the problem.
If ETSY is truly a company that respects America and wants to continue to thrive with the American public, then you should immediately cease distributing this disgusting, racists book.

Non-existent Customer Service
When trying to purchase things from Etsy, my account says suspended. Not only was I never notified of this, but when I go to the "Help" section to unsuspended it and out in my account info, it tells me that my account is not suspended. I reached out to Etsy in Oct. 2020, still no response. I can't buy products. Doesn't that hurt their business? Don't they want my money?
So then you may suggest, just use a different email and create an account, except I did 4 years ago because they had locked me out of my account and when I contacted them, they said they would "merge" the accounts. Have they? Of course not. I literally don't understand who is running this app, if anybody.
Take your business elsewhere like DePop! Myself and many others I've talked too would much prefer that and its also protected by Paypal!

I appear to have found an appalling glitch in your site whereby if you cannot sign in, you are unable to speak to anyone to resolve the issue as the 'contact etsy' section can only be opened after you SIGN IN!
I have attempted to reopen an accidentally deleted account my asking your help centre to send me an email with a link three times and never received it.
Short of making a whole new email address I am now unable to log in or even find a way of contacting you. On top of this you do not clearly show how to make a complaint on your site which is in breach of UK standards.
This has been infuriating when all I wanted to even do was check on an order (which apparently you can't do even though I wasn't signed in when I made the order in the first place!) So now I cant even contact the seller to chase my order or get my money back.
This is a failing of the UK standards which states you must have a clear complaints procedure and contact details.
I want this resolved immediately or I will be raising this to UK trading standards.

I shut down my store about 2 months ago and yet my art work is all over your site not giving me any credit...that is the worst way to treat an artist...steal their work, use it on your site with no compensation for the artist and just say unavailable. I even saw one of my gourd masks on someone else's site!

I used to look to shop on Etsy for unique items. But then came across " Buy Black-Owned". For the hell of it I asked if I could create a group " Buy White-Owned". Needless to say that was shot down rather quickly.I will no longer promote or shop Etsy, clearly you promote reverse RACISM and Black Privilege! I've included a picture to prove my point. This store is selling votive candles which are an offensive mockery of the Christian faith, particularly the Catholic faith for whom many of these disfigured images are sacred.
This disgusting affront would not be acceptable to any other faith group, and is not acceptable against Christianity either.

Hi,
I couldn't find where on Etsy to file a complaint. I hate doing so to begin with but I don't want others to deal with what I just went through.
Last Fall I order 9 unfinished wood yard art signs from Shirley Martin of Samethecrafter on Etsy. The experience was wonderful. She normally paints them and sells them but I messaged her asking if I could get them unfinished so my family couldn't paint them. She charged me half the price, her listings all were free shipping. Everything was great. So great that I reached out to make another large order. My first order was 10 shapes at $30ish a piece. This time I was ordering 9, same price. Again I probated messaged her because I wanted them unfinished and her listings are all finished. She preceded to quote me $31 each, then $68 shipping, and $22 in taxes. And I was like "whoa!" First of all I've never paid taxes on Etsy, I've never seen taxes on Etsy and I live in Oregon and don't pay sales tax... and I didn't pay it the first time. She said she would have to check on that, but she was pretty sure she needed to charge tax.
Then regarding shipping, she said all her prices are going up(which her isn't true, all her listings were the same), she also proceeded to say that Etsy forces people to list it as free shipping but really there is not such thing as free shipping and that I live in the most expensive place to ship and maybe I want to find someone local to do the work for me.
I'm just flabbergasted at the treatment I just received and the fact she was trying to charge me shipping and taxes through Etsy messages when her listings don't. And I told her, had she talked to me upfront about the worry of shipping costs, I would have negotiated something, knowing it was a large order. But the fact is she does offer free shipping. But she wasn't upfront and tried to be deceiving in adding in the shipping and the taxes.
I wanted someone to know about this so they don't go through this.

I don't understand the billing with Esty. I sale an item but never get paid. I am always in the red but when I try to contact them. You have to go through some many different questionnaires. I feel there is something else going on. I read you pay for your clicks once you sold the item. It seems every month paying for the clicks. For items you do not sale also. You are too crazy to complete your question. Then the contact us...is just another story within its. I just want someone to answer the click question you are paying around 45% to Esty.

I loved shopping your site, in fact I just made a purchase today. But then I found out that you banned anything with the slogan "Stop the Steal". You claim it was to avoid election interference! But interestingly you did allow slogans disavowing our LEGALLY ELECTED President... it kind of feels like you want to eliminate your Conservative shoppers and sellers to push a politically biased agenda!
You need to make this right for your "right-wing clientele. If you do, we can drop the issue. Otherwise, their will be a tremendous boycott with huge repercussions. I won't hold my breath - but I will stop soliciting your site and encourage all others to do the same. I am so disappointed because I thought Etsy actually CARED about their customers (not based on voting preference)!

Bogus invoice
Several years ago I got an invoice from Etsy for $2. I hadn't been selling on Etsy but I paid it. Then I get a bill for $15. Still hadn't even been on the site. Now they have suspended my account. I have contacted them about a half dozen times but they do not respond.
I would like to sell on Etsy again but customer support won't respond. I could open up a new account but I won't because I am pissed that this isn't resolved. So meanwhile I sell lots of my handmade quilts on Ebay and I don't have to pay an insertion fee.

Etsy did the same to me. Be warned they keep charging my account with un-authorized charges as well and when you try to contact them they ignore the tickets. Twice since they closed my account a year ago they have made charges to my credit card. (it won't let you delete the credit card information) One charge was for 116.00 and the latest was for 61.99. I am trying get the charges removed but Etsy won't reply and have no call number.

Etsy's customer service does not exist! I emailed them with a seller issue and they did not read my statement, because they responded with an irrelevant answer. I then asked for a phone number to speak to someone in customer service and they never responded to my request.

I placed Order #1808765992 for two personalized Christmas dog stockings with Pom Chick and paid in full on 01 Nov 2020.
I was told delivery would be made by 18 Nov and the package has still not been received. I have sent several messages, the last two requesting a full refund including postage and she has not responded to me since. Her T&C's state to contact her within 14 days of delivery, but this package has not been delivered.
These Christmas stockings were ordered well ahead of time, but it does not look like I will receive them at all.
Please can you help me to get a full refund, Pom Chick is not responding to any of my messages. I have attached a copy of the purchase for your reference.
