I have had Eventbrite for my business for almost a year. I have an Eventbrite for a second business for almost 7 years. We hosted an event that was posted in November 2023. We did a press release, extensive social media advertisement, email evites to Chamber of Commerce, Elected Officials etc. Six days before the event someone changed the account email and the banking account information and we were locked out of our account! Since December 17, 2023 we have not been able to reach anyone other than on Facebook messenger that could give us any guidance, except to suggest we change our email password and we did and then they would send us a new password link. Every time the link they sent - it is rejected. We have not received our funds for the December 17 event and we’ve not had any resolution or any help on how this matter will be resolved. There is no fraud department for Eventbrite; and on Facebook messenger, I have communicated with them for 26 days and as of today I received a new email stating “how can I help” after everything that I have sent as all the communication was for not…or has been voided. This is a fiasco! This is a lot of money that we need to have resolved. The only recourse I see at this point is to hire an attorney to sue Eventbrite to get the money. Please do not use this service as there is no fraud department there is no one to actually speak to with regards to resolving fraud. I have sent them proof of my business proof of the event, and the matter is still not resolved going in 20 days. The 121, is a legitimate event venue business!. Today’s date: January 3, 2024.
Desired outcome: Our money deposited into our account
