David's Bridal Defective Dress/Poor management

If I could give no stars, I would. I was sold either a used or floor model dress. The Store Manager Linda in the OMAHA NE store refuses to take my concern serious. As I keep being lied to by SAM, LINDA and DAWN. The zipper on my $1500 dress is shredded and therefore the dress is not in new condition. I was told by Sam she was not able to assist as she isn't the Store Manager, yet Sam called me back the next day in her new role as Store Manager. Congratulations. However still unable and unwilling to resolve my issue. They said they were unable compensate me to get the dress repaired by a seamstress of my choice. As I have seen your store reviews on the seamstress's cheap work on zippers. I don't feel confident in their abilities to actually care for my expensive dress and do quality work. That is my prerogative, and I believe you should assist in an URGENT fashion as my Wedding Day is in 5 Weeks. They will not be able to send me a new dress in time to be altered as needed and on time for Weddding Day. I need a District Manager to address my concern and find out what is happening with this store and assist me NOW. I chose your company for my wedding gown, and I am just asking for the service that is promised in all your ads and website. My entire wedding party purchased dresses and cannot believe this is the treatment we are receiving. The zipper is a defect, and I do not want to change my dress. I would like a new dress overnighted to my home or I want compensation to repair the one I have. Completely unsatisfied with your management team and lack of pride in your business reputation.

David's Bridal The Amazing Gina, The Dress Whisper

I was searching all over for a prom dress and wasn't having any luck. My mom and I went to Davids and we had an appointment with a woman named Gina. Not only was Gina extremely helpful but she made the experience so much fun. With her great attitude and amazing energy you could definitely see she loves helping others. Gina made me feel like a princess in the dress that I got and even helped me with finding the perfect accessories. I thought I was going to be so stressed out and it would be so difficult to find a dress I loved the experience and it couldn't have been any better. I would highly recommend requesting Gina for any special occasions you may have in your life.

David's Bridal Bridesmaid Reveal-Kennesaw Ga

We had a bridesmaid reveal for my daughter and 4 of her local bridesmaids. I asked for help a few hours before the appointment from a manager and wasn't having much luck. Then along came a ray of sunshine named La Shaunda. She totally understood what we we trying to accomplish and made it so much fun.
We started with the girls each having 6 minutes on the timer to pick a dress for the bride to try on and on the last dress she came out with a sign to ask her girls with flowers and boxes. La Shaunda assisted in every way and made them feel like queens when it was their turn to try on dresses and pick which one they liked most. We loved her so much we got her a gift. Thanks girl, we now consider you a friend!

David's Bridal Manchester Ct has the best customer service

I have shopped at several David's Bridal shop and was turned away by rude attendants. Being ignored and treated rudely. Having traveled to many different shops all over the state for months I was getting tired. While shopping at another venue I happened upon the David's Bridal in Manchester. I figured I'd give or one last shot. What a different experience! From the moment I arrived and was pleasantly greeted at the door to my actually making the purchase. Brittany B was amazing. She was courteous, sweet, patient. But most of all she was helpful. She answered every question I had, helped me find different sizes, colors etc. I truly appreciated her working with me. She is the epitome of excellent customer service. Should I need dresses for any occasion from now on I will shop this store first.

David's Bridal Found the one!

I had a great time at David's Bridal today. The dresses are beautiful and the staff are so sweet, kind, and helpful. Everything was top standard, noting was trouble, and everything looked lovely. It was hard to pick my favorite but it was found they do check you measurements and all, they will change the color if needed and style to what you want it to be. The one I found was strapless but they gave my sleeves which didn't look the best so it was changed to look at straps then the back of the neck which looked lovely. By saying yes to the dress you fine they take a picture with a sign saying 'I found the one' then a picture with the members that came to help. After all they take the measurements to get your right size and will look for everything to help as much as they can. It was not much of a high price either. I can just say that David's Bridal is a very great store to look for any dress, shoes, and so.

David's Bridal Portage, Michigan's Holly J

We stopped at the David's Bridal on a lark. I mentioned the place to my fiancee as we drove by in Portage, Michigan. I had been looking on-line at a particular dress but hadn't take the time to visit our local store in Peoria, IL. When I walked in to the store, I had no idea what to expect since my first wedding was in 1982 and this, my final wedding, was not a traditional purchase. Holly J approached me as I walked directly to the rack where the online dress was hanging. We had a brief conversation, she took me to the fitting room and then stepped back to listen. The color of the dress I had admired did NOT look good on me at all. She listened to my comments, made a suggestion, found another dress which was similar in style, a much better fit, and I really liked. Holly J. Gave one more suggestion, again based on my critique and comments as I viewed the two dresses I tried on, and brought me a third dress.
Long story- I loved the second dress and with Holly J's knowledge and comments, I purchased my wedding dress, on a chance walk-in, while on vacation in Michigan. I don't understand why so many people are so negative. Please, look up Holly J. In Portage, Michigan.

David's Bridal David’s bridal big mess up

On September 15 I went in to pickup my dress that was ordered from the store. I had to get cups inserted My date of pickup was on September 22, at 4:30. I got there at 4:23pm. When I arrived they could not find my dress. I stood there patiently waiting and not causing a scene. There was another woman going crazy because they didn’t do what was asked of her dress. I talked to her and asked her to calm down. I started to feel disregarded because no one could tell me where my dress was. On top of them now telling me to leave it he alterations room when they couldn’t locate the dress. I asked was alterations done outside of the building and I was told NO. Then I was told there was another wine dress on the sales floor my size if I wanted to take that one. Of course I declined because the bride specifically picked the dress for me to wear. Then I was asked what time was my appointment I reiterated 4:30. Then I was asked who did the alterations. In the meantime they had my receipt in their hands. I didn’t realize all the information they asked was on the receipt. At 5:24 they informed me grace was coming in to see where my dress was. At about 5:30 an alteration’s associate came to me and said she knew what happened. My dress was sent to the cleaners because there was a spot on the dress. I asked how did that happened and I was told the customers are to touchy and they got something on my dress. I said that’s impossible because my dress should have never made it to the sales floor. She said your last name is Simmons and I said it’s Hill. She walked away and said she didn’t know. Now at this point I’m irritated because I could not keep coming up to the store plus I was traveling in a few days to the wedding. I was told that I needed to calm down. I was calm from 4:23 to about 5:30. I’ve been more than calm. About 5:45 Grace came in with my dress in her hand and said she needed to rush it to the cleaners and she mixed the dates up to pick the dress up. I waited to the wedding to write a complaint because I didn’t see a spot. On the day of the wedding I saw the spot on my dress and freaked out. There was nothing I could do at this point. I had to wear a dress that David’s bridal messed up. I work so hard and to have a corporation this grand to show no regards with my time or the stain. I received an apology but no compensation. No let’s take the alterations off for her inconvenience or even here take the dress. I understand a business has to be ran but your company ran with my money and caused me so much stress that could have been avoided.

David's Bridal Extremely poor customer service!

I still can’t believe it! From the time we entered the Wilmington, NC store until we left we were never greeted. acknowledged or assisted. I helped my granddaughter pick out and try on 6-7 dresses. Zero help from anyone! We were the only customers in the store at the time. The young lady stayed sitting at the front desk. As we were leaving we stopped to look at dress displayed right behind the desk and still no engagement from store employee. We left and went to a bridal boutique near by and had an amazingly positive, happy experience and purchased a dress (as it should be).

Not sure how Davis’s Bridal is staying in business with this lack of customer service!

Recommendation: Find a local boutique or shop online. Avoid the Wilmington, NC store.

David's Bridal David's Bridal: Terrible Customer Service and Return Policy

So, I went to the Springfield location to try on some wedding dresses. I had an appointment, but the store was packed, and the consultant seemed to be all over the place. She was helping three other ladies while trying to assist me, and I didn't feel like she was giving me her full attention. I was looking for a dress that would fit my wedding theme, and I told her that. She pulled out a Melissa Sweet dress and told me it was the last one and that it would be perfect for my theme. I didn't have anyone with me, so I was relying on the consultant to give me honest feedback about how the dress looked on me. She said, "that dress is so you, it fits perfectly and looks amazing on you." I was hesitant to buy it, but she told me it was the only one, and they couldn't hold it for me. Worried that I would miss out, I asked her about returns, and she told me I could return it for store credit if I didn't like it.

Fast forward to now, and I'm completely unhappy with the dress. It doesn't feel like the dress I'm supposed to have, and I don't feel beautiful in it. I called to find out about exchanging it for something else, only to find out that I can't return it because it's past the 90-day policy. My wedding is in five weeks, and I'm stuck with a dress I don't want to wear because the consultant wasn't forthcoming with the information about the return policy at the appointment. The customer service lady I spoke to today didn't seem to care. Her solution was, "oh well, you could always sell the dress and come in to purchase a different one." Are you kidding me? I spent $1600 on a wedding gown that I'm now stuck with, plus all the jewelry, shoes, and over $500 on dresses for my daughters who are in the wedding, plus shoes for them as well.

David's Bridal doesn't care about their customers, their experience, or their big day. All they care about is lining their pockets. They don't stand behind their product or admit that consultants lie to get the sale because, surprise, they work off commissions. I will never go here again, and everyone else should run the other way.

David's Bridal David's Bridal: A Disappointing Experience and a Warning to Future Customers

Me and my daughter went to David's Bridal in South Portland in August 2022. We were accompanied by her bridesmaids, future mother in law, and several aunts. The six bridesmaids ordered their dresses, and my daughter found her dream dress. She had saved for two years to buy this dress, and when we went to pay for it, I watched the associate key in the dress. However, to our surprise, the dress was priced at $950 instead of $800, as we were told earlier. I have photos of my daughter in the dress with the price tag.

In October, my daughter picked up the dress and was told not to open it as it was protected. We were also given an alteration time. When we purchased the dress in August, I asked about the alteration cost, and I was told it would be between $300 and $500. My daughter brought the dress home and stored it in our guest room.

Two weeks ago, my daughter and another bridesmaid went to her fitting, and they opened the dress. To our dismay, it was the wrong dress. My daughter was in tears, and I told her to relax, and they would fix it. However, they did not. They not only told her they couldn't get the dress she tried on and "said yes to," but they also offered her the floor model, which had been tried on countless times and was not lined as promised. To make matters worse, they charged her an additional $280, and she had to pay $716 for alterations, which were not lined. So, an $800 dress ended up costing us $1946.00, more than double the cost.

Today, my daughter brought the dress in for her alteration appointment, and they charged her $716 for alterations, which were not lined. This company should be shut down. It is a disgraceful fleecing of customers. It is not exceptional service, and we are not satisfied. It is no surprise that David's Bridal filed for bankruptcy on Monday, just days after announcing plans to lay off more than 9,000 workers nationwide later this year.

Shown in the photos is my daughter's public review, their public response, and their private response. We are deeply disappointed with their service and would not recommend them to anyone.

David's Bridal Disappointing Experience at David's Bridal: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Professionalism

Me and my daughter went to David's Bridal in Woodbridge yesterday and it was not a good experience. We didn't have an appointment but we were looking for off the shelf Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid dresses. After 10 minutes, I asked an associate if they had any dresses with a certain neckline style and showed her an example. She immediately said they didn't have anything like that in the store, even though they have thousands of dresses and many with that style of neckline. She didn't even offer to help us find something else.

Then, my daughter was in a change room and an associate knocked on the door and immediately opened it wide without waiting for a response. My daughter was naked and there was a man sitting right by the door waiting for his wife to come out of another change room and he saw everything. It was so embarrassing for her! How could this not be part of their training? It's completely unacceptable!

When I went to pay for an outfit for my mother, the girl asked me who had helped me. I wasn't going to say anything but the fact that she wanted to attribute my sale to a sales person for some sort of gain, made me upset. I told her that nobody helped us and what the other sales girl did. She apologized to my daughter but used the excuse that they were conducting interviews and didn't have the time to help us. There were only a few customers in the store and many staff members, but they were all standing around chatting with each other and ignoring us.

David's Bridal needs to train their staff better in the world of sales. As someone who works in sales, I would never treat customers like we were treated yesterday. My budget for my dress was $1,000 and my daughter's was $500, and we also needed dresses for 3 more bridesmaids. We could have found dresses in their store if we had received any help whatsoever. But after this experience, I don't think we'll be returning to their store.

I'm completely disappointed as a possible customer.

David's Bridal David's Bridal Sunset Hills: Disrespectful and Unprofessional Customer Service

I had an appointment at David's Bridal in Sunset Hills to pick up my dress and have my final fitting on June 1st. I drove for 10 hours to get there on time, but I realized I would arrive earlier than my scheduled appointment. I tried calling to see if I could get in earlier, but I was put on hold and then the recording said there was no one available and the call was disconnected. I arrived about 1 1/2 hours early, so I decided to go to some other stores. Later, I decided to check to see if I could get in early, only to find a "temporarily closed" sign on the door. There were associates in the store, and one came to assist me. She said there was a sewage problem, and customers were not allowed in the store. I asked why no one called me, and her reply was that it was her understanding that they were calling people, and it was her first day back since last Thursday.

I was told I could pick up my dress, take it home, try it on, and take it to St Peters if there were any issues. She went to get my dress and proceeded to show me how to do the bustle, only to find there were pins on the inside liner of the dress, and it wasn't finished. She said she could fix it. After about 10-15 minutes, she came back with the dress, showed me how to do the bustle, and had me sign the papers. I asked her when this sewage problem happened, and she said it happened one week prior. They did not even have the decency to call me. They had more than enough time. So disrespectful of me, other customers, and our time. They do not answer their phones, even from their other stores.

I was told if I had any issues, I could go to St Peters, and some of the Sunset Hills alterations people were working in St Peters. Well, there were issues with the bustle, still. AND, I realized they did not save the lace, as requested on my alterations ticket, that was cut off the dress when it was shortened. So, after having a friend check the fitting and the bustle and multiple calls to St Peters, I drove out there. The associates in St Peters were very helpful and fixed my dress. They also told me that no one from the Sunset Hills store had been out there to work, and they didn't have any extra lace from my dress. Their suggestion was to have someone go by the Sunset Hills store, knock on the door to inquire about the lace. My friend's boyfriend (he's a very nice, good guy) drove by the store and was told they didn't have it, and someone named Kitty did my alterations. The suggestion was to call St Peters because, again, they were working out there! NOT. Called St Peters, no one has been there to work. Their suggestion was to call Fairview Heights store, no one has been there except a manager. "Who's on first?"

I tried calling the customer service line today, and after clicking on any of the options given, every call was disconnected. The actions, or non-actions, by the associates in the Sunset Hills store and by the David's Bridal customer service are despicable and so disrespectful of their customers. I spent a lot of time and money with David's Bridal, and you would think they would have the decency to respond and correct any errors. The sewage problem is not their fault, I'm guessing, but for them to not call, to lie, to not respond to phone calls is reprehensible. I would not go back to David's Bridal, and I urge anyone else to not use their services.

David's Bridal David's Bridal: Great Service Turned into a Nightmare

I recently visited David's Bridal in Springfield, PA (Store 26) on November 30th to purchase a bridesmaids dress. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I was pleasantly surprised that the process was not as time-consuming and painful as I had anticipated. The staff helped me pick out dresses, try them on, and finally make a purchase. I had an exceptional experience in the store.

However, my experience with David's Bridal took a turn for the worse on December 19th, almost three weeks after my initial purchase. While shopping, my card was declined, and I was shocked to see that I had been charged for my dress again, even though 19 days had passed since my visit to the store. This was a huge inconvenience, especially with the holidays being so close. The charges caused my account to be overdrafted, and money was taken from my savings account to cover the charges, both of which I am charged for through my bank.

I went through my bank statement to ensure that I had been charged on November 30th without it being refunded for some reason. Then, I began calling DB to try to get this issue resolved. I first called the store where I had purchased the dress, but the woman who answered the phone there informed me that there was nothing they could do, and I would have to contact customer service.

I called customer service the next day and spoke to a woman named Keisha. She first told me that they don't store card information, which frankly has to be a blatant lie because there is no other way they could have charged the same card almost 3 weeks later if they didn't have my information stored in their system. Next, she told me she had to call another department and would get back to me within the next 24 hours. However, 24 hours went by, and I heard nothing. I called back the next day, got Keisha again, had the same conversation with her I had the day before, and once again, she told me that she would get back to me within 24 hours. Again, I never heard from her.

At this point, the holiday had arrived, so I had to put the entire situation on hold. Today (December 26), I called customer service again and once again spoke to Keisha. A couple of minutes into explaining the situation (yet again), she says that she 'thinks she remembers talking to me last week.' She had the nerve to once again suggest that David's Bridal doesn't store card information, the same blatant lie. This time she asked me for my credit card number. When I told her I was hesitant to give her this information because of the situation, she flatly responded by telling me I had to give her the information if I wanted my money back. I finally relented and gave her the information in the hopes that the problem could finally be solved. At that point, she told me that she had to email another department and would call me back, this time within minutes. Once again, I didn't hear back from her.

Tomorrow, I plan on calling once again and telling them I will be filing a police report for fraudulent charges against David's Bridal if the issue isn't resolved. I'm disgusted both by the fact that this happened and the way it has been handled by personnel on their end. For anyone planning on shopping at David's Bridal for anything, I suggest reconsidering. It's not worth having your card information stolen or having to deal with people who are so unwilling to help you. You would be better off finding a more reliable company to do business with.

David's Bridal Terrible Experience with David's Bridal: Rude Staff, Unhelpful, and No Customer Satisfaction

Me and my girls, we all went to David's Bridal in Scarborough, ON to get our dresses for my wedding. I found a dress that I loved, but it was a bit tight, so I decided to order a smaller size. When I received the dress in December, it did not fit at all. It was not the same size as the one I tried on in the store. I went back to the store to address this issue, but the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They told me to steam it and try to stretch it out, which was not possible since the material was 100% Polyester. They also wanted me to pay $100 for alterations, which was not fair since I did not receive what I purchased.

The manager and store manager blamed me for not having gone with the size they suggested, even though the suggested size was too big and had to be pinned everywhere. They body shamed me and made me feel extremely insecure and hurt. They did not want to reduce the price or meet me halfway. They even raised their voices and were rude to me and my friend who was trying to help me.

The store manager promised to contact my friend after the new year with an update, but we never heard back from her. My friend called multiple times and left messages, but she was finally contacted on January 9th at around 7pm and told there was nothing they could do.

I contacted David's Bridal directly and informed them of what had occurred, but they reiterated that there was nothing they could do because the size I bought was not the size I was when I purchased the dress. This was not fair since I did not receive what I purchased. They did not care about customers or customer satisfaction. They could have easily resolved this issue by helping me out with the alterations, but they chose not to.

Overall, my experience with David's Bridal was terrible. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and they did not care about customer satisfaction. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

David's Bridal Poor Service and Lack of Transparency at David's Bridal in Toledo

David's Bridal in Toledo is not a place you want to go to for your bridal needs. My daughter had a bridal dress appointment and we were disappointed with the service. The consultants were double booked, which meant they were helping two brides at the same time. We barely got any attention and were informed that we could not go over our appointment time. When my daughter was not able to find a dress in the allotted time, we had to make another appointment for later in the day. Finally, the consultant was able to devote her time to us and we found the perfect dress. However, when we went up to pay, we were surprised by the additional costs that were added on. The manager told us the bottom figure, which was not the same as the screen read. We had to correct her and one of the consultants got an attitude with us. We live an hour away and when we went to pick up my daughter's slip and dress, we were told that there were no holds. This was not mentioned to us ahead of time and we were disappointed with the lack of communication.

A month later, we went back to David's Bridal for bridesmaids dresses. We called ahead to make an appointment for my daughter's alterations and asked about discounts for bridesmaid dresses. They told us we would get $20 off if the bride bought her dress there. We booked a back-to-back appointment to ensure we had enough time. However, the consultant was double booked again and we had to share her with another group. We finally decided on the bridesmaid dresses and the bridesmaids tried on homecoming/prom dresses. They picked out an additional dress each because there was a sign on the wall saying clearance prom dresses for $49.99. However, when we went to pay, the prom dress did not ring up at $49.99. The manager told us that not all prom dresses were that price and that we should have read the fine print. However, there was no fine print on the sign. We were disappointed with the lack of transparency.

To make matters worse, when we asked about the $20 off for the bridesmaid dresses, the manager told us that they no longer offer that discount. We had just called and asked about it when we made the appointment. The manager wanted to know who we talked to, but we did not write down her name. We were frustrated with the lack of consistency and communication.

We left David's Bridal and went to the mall, where we found the perfect dresses for a lot less money at Windsor. We were disappointed with the service at David's Bridal and would not recommend it to anyone. David's Bridal corporate should take a closer look at their management and staff, as they are driving business away.

David's Bridal Nightmare Experience with David's Bridal: Terrible Customer Service and Incompetent Alterations Department

David's Bridal is a store that I would not recommend to anyone. Their customer service is terrible and their alterations department is a disaster. I had a terrible experience with them and I am still dealing with the aftermath of their mistakes. I am getting married in two months and I don't have a dress because of them.

I scheduled my alterations appointment in February 2022. At my first fitting, the dress fit perfectly with no issues. I needed to have the dress hemmed, a bustle added, and asked about the way the dress didn't lay flat across my chest. At my pick up appointment on March 31st, the dress had been hemmed, the bustle added, and the sides were taken in. However, the dress wouldn't zip up because it was taken in on the sides, even though it fit perfectly at my first fitting. The alterations department said they would take it back out and return for another appointment.

I returned for another appointment on April 14th and the dress had been let out on the sides and fit again but I still had the issue that the dress didn't lay flat. This time the alterations department said they could take in the front where the bust seam was, and to come back for another appointment. I returned for another appointment on April 28th, at which point they had taken the dress in on the sides (again) and it wouldn't zip up. Once again they told me they would take the dress out and to return for yet another appointment.

A week later I show up for another appointment on May 5th. The dress had been let out on the sides, back to its original size. After another discussion about what was "wrong" with the dress and it not laying flat she told me to take it off and to let her do something else and to come back in 2 hours and this time she would fix it. I left and returned to the store 2 hours later. When I returned it was again taken in on the sides, and the dress wouldn't zip. She was trying to zip it and ripped my dress in the back. Yes, she ripped the back of my dress, and I heard the material rip. My mom was in the room and the lady doing the alterations threw the piece on the floor. My mom picked up the piece off the floor and the alterations lady snatched it out of her hand and told her it's fine, it can be fixed.

At this point, I was beyond frustrated with the number of times I had been to alterations appointments, the number of alterations that were done against what I was telling them was wrong, and the fact that now my dress was RIPPED. After I took the dress off this time she took the dress to the back again and finally fixed the boning in the dress to make it lay flat across the front. Now that the dress fit and was laying the way it should I had to make another appointment so that the rip and beading could be fixed.

I returned one week later to pick up my dress. The alterations manager came out to speak with me. She proceeded to tell me they couldn't find the beading that would match what is on the dress, and that there is nothing they could do about the rip, but they tried to fix it. She showed me the dress. The beading that they chose didn't match (not the same size, shape, color, or material), the beading pattern didn't match the rest of the dress, and the rip was still there with beading overtop of it. She told me that this was the best that they could do - I would personally be embarrassed to ever admit that this was their best work. They kept the dress again and said they would work on it some more. I returned again on May 12th for another appointment and the dress still looked the same, with no changes to anything that was wrong with the dress. I refused to accept the dress in that condition.

Overall, David's Bridal has been a nightmare to deal with. Their customer service is terrible and their alterations department is incompetent. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

David's Bridal Unsatisfied with David's Bridal: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Communication

I recently had an experience with David's Bridal that left me feeling extremely unsatisfied. I visited their store in Bowling Green on July 30th, 2022 with my girls and moms to say yes to the dress. The staff informed me that my dress would arrive in November since we had to order a smaller size than what was available in store. However, to my surprise, I received a text and call on August 8th that my dress was ready for pick up. I scheduled my alterations appointment for March 11th, 2023, and everything was going smoothly until then.

During my alterations appointment, I lost 15 pounds, and the dress needed to be taken in around the stomach and side area. The lady offered me an appointment for April 14th, 2023, for my final fitting, but I requested to push it back to April 21st, which she agreed to. On April 19th, I received a phone call from David's Bridal in Bowling Green confirming my appointment for April 21st, and I confirmed it through a text link.

However, when I arrived at the store on April 21st, I was informed that my dress wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready until the next day or even next week. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated since my mom and bonus mom drove two hours to be there, and we had made plans around this appointment. I requested a refund for the alterations I had paid for, which was $231, but was only given a partial refund of $118. The "manager" from alterations, Jessica B, was unprofessional and rude, which only added to my frustration.

I left the store with my unaltered dress and had to pay someone else to alter it, hoping it would be done in time for my wedding, which was in two weeks. I plan on calling Lisa, Jessica B's boss, and corporate to express my dissatisfaction with their customer service and communication. Overall, I do not recommend David's Bridal in Bowling Green, and I can see why they are filing for bankruptcy. Their lack of communication and poor customer service can ruin their business.

David's Bridal Disappointing Experience at DB Stratford: Inconsistent Service, Incorrect Sizing, and Unethical Staff

I went to DB Stratford (London) in October with my mum and 2 BM's. We arrived on time for our appointment and were told to go upstairs and look at dresses. After 10 minutes of looking at all the dresses, we were just standing around in the middle of the floor waiting to be called. Two members of staff walked straight passed us and went to an older bridal party who were standing around asking if they were okay or needed any help-- they had already been seen. So annoying, so I went downstairs to ask what's happening with our appointment. We were then finally called.

Israel looked after us very well, and honestly, if it wasn't for her, I would absolutely hate this store. I wouldn't recommend bringing more than three people on a Saturday because it is busy. The set-up is nice and still became a nice experience. She helped me try on about six dresses and gave me a wild card dress which I loved- and ended up buying. She worked out what I would like by talking to me and getting feedback on each dress from both myself and my party- really amazing skill! I couldn't decide between two dresses, the manager came over and tried to sell me both- the same woman who cleanly ignored us in the first place when we were waiting. She tried to take over the sale. We left and said we'd book another appointment. I really didn't want to buy anything from her. In hindsight, I wish I had just bought the dress from Israel.

I booked a second appointment for the end of November, called up, booking was easy, and the lady was really nice.

On arrival, I only wanted to try on two dresses- although I knew which one I wanted. I was served by Marssela; she brought the dresses, put them in the dressing room, and left. The dresses are heavy with lace-up backs- I didn't know what was happening. Five minutes later, she comes back, and I ask her why she isn't helping to put the dresses on, and she says that they are not allowed if we don't give permission! Why she just left and said nothing then gave me that lame excuse is beyond me. It was 6.30, so I imagine she was just being lazy after a long day. She puts the dresses on, and I decide on a dress. I explain to her that I want a UK size 10 (I'm a 12 now due to some health issues) but am naturally an 8. My wedding is in 10 months, so plenty of time to naturally go back to normal. Everything is good; we go downstairs, and I paid in full for the dress and dress bag (?5). I was told the dress would be here in 8 weeks plus.

The week before Xmas, I get an email saying my dress is ready for collection, and I must collect within 7 days. I'm shocked as it's almost Xmas, and the dress is at least a month early! Again called to make an appointment, great service on the phone. I asked if I could come after Xmas as Stratford is not close for me, and well, it's Xmas, and I'm busy. Was told that's not possible, and I need to collect the dress. I was fine with this and inconvenience but not an issue.

I attended an evening, after waiting for 20 minutes (they had issues finding my dress, despite me checking this with them on the phone because of how early it's arrived) my dress comes out, and I'm so excited. That ended when I saw that the dress is a UK size 12. So I explain to the lady on the desk that the size is wrong, it should be a UK 10. She says no check my receipt which has US sizes and says that I ordered a 12- SERIOUSLY. I refused to accept this as I know full well what I wanted, and if the saleswoman didn't listen, and they are hiding behind US sizes, that's not my fault. I was told that there is nothing I could do. They called Marssela, and she kept insisting that I asked for a 12. She left no notes on the system, so because of her laziness and incompetence, I'm wrong. I spoke to Tanecna, who I think is the downstairs manager, and showed her photos of my body size just a few months before and years going back, explaining that there's no way I would ask for a 12 when it's not my normal size, and I'm only this size due to health issues, which are now being managed. Tanecna seemed like she understood and was empathetic. She put the dress on me, which fits really well now- BUT this won't fit me on my wedding day 10 months away. I've already gone down to a 10 naturally, and I'm now less than 9 months from my big day. Tanecna said that they only exchange if I drop more than 2 dress sizes- there's no way I'm going to be a 6 (nor would I want to be) so I'm screwed. She offered me 50% off accessories, and I left taking away a dress that will NOT fit. One of the reasons I chose the dress is that it didn't need any alterations. Well, now I'm looking at serious alterations. It's a body-fit mermaid dress with a big tail, so the entire top to thigh will need to be taken in. The dress also arrived seriously creased, so steaming costs too. They said that they would steam it for free if I get alterations- like I would seriously trust them with alterations when they couldn't even order the dress correctly.

My advice if you go here double-check the UK/US size conversions yourself and ensure that they have listened to what you have asked for. Do not pay in full- if they screw it up, then you'll be out a deposit, but at least you won't have a dress that will cost ?100's more to alter to fit when if they had just ordered the correct size alterations wouldn't be needed at all.

What started off as a really good experience with Israel, who was absolutely amazing so helpful and really helped find the perfect dress turned into a horrible and very expensive experience.

I am utterly disappointed the correct solution should have been to apologize for the misunderstanding and reorder the correct size- I have so much time before the wedding - But no, it made more sense to argue with me the paying customer take my money and say there's nothing that can be done. I think they do this so you have to get alterations to increase their revenue and profit margins.

It's understandable why they have so many issues- the service is inconsistent. Tanecna tried to resolve the issue and was lovely really empathetic but only after I had to prove my normal size. Sad that they have a few good people clearly wasting their talents with this company and being let down by lazy, unethical staff.

If you go there, I highly recommend asking for Israel- she is a true talent and has great service.

Such a shame as I had wanted to order 6 BM's dresses and my mum and MiL's dress here, but no way I would trust them now. Their failure to rectify a simple issue loss them revenue greater than the cost of my dress- quite stupid really.

David's Bridal David's Bridal's Return Policy is a Joke - Save Yourself the Hassle and Shop Elsewhere

I recently had an experience with David's Bridal that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, and while the assistant helping me was friendly and helpful at first, things quickly went downhill. She suggested that I order the dress and if I found another one I liked better, I could simply return the one I ordered. Sounds easy enough, right?

Well, it turns out that returning a dress to David's Bridal is anything but easy. You have to do it in person, which meant that I had to drive an hour and a half each way just to return the dress. In this day and age, you would think that returning something online would be a breeze, but apparently not. And to make matters worse, they called me to tell me that they were going to return the dress to the warehouse if I didn't get there to pick it up in time. I mean, seriously?

To add insult to injury, the assistant argued with me about why I hadn't received an automated text days prior to the dress being returned. Apparently, they had my home phone number on file instead of my cell phone number, and no one bothered to explain that the process would involve an automated text. It's not like I was trying to be difficult - I just wanted to return the dress and move on with my life.

In the end, I wasted $149 on a dress that I never even got to wear. My daughter-in-law's bridesmaids had no issues ordering their dresses online and returning them if they needed a different size, but for some reason, I wasn't afforded the same courtesy. It's frustrating to think that in this day and age, a company like David's Bridal can't figure out a more customer-friendly way to handle returns.

I had a few terrible experiences at David's Bridal stores, so when my bridesmaids found their dresses, I decided to order them online and have them shipped to my mom's house since I live in a different state now. The online purchasing process was simple, and I found the dresses by their item numbers on the tags. However, what wasn't clear to me was that I only had 14 days to return the dresses if there were any issues with sizing, color, or rips. Unfortunately, one of my bridesmaids couldn't get her dress because it arrived while she was in Florida for a wedding, and it would take 2-3 months to get another one. By the time she returned and tried on the dress, it had been 30 days, and I couldn't return it to the store for an exchange since I had purchased it online. I had to call a representative, who was quite rude, and after some back and forth, they sent me a size bigger.

My second issue with ordering online was when we had another dress sent to the store for pick up. The process was smooth, but once it arrived at the store, they called my bridesmaid and told her that she only had seven days to pick it up, or it would be put on the sales rack and sold to someone else. I found this to be quite unfair since she had already purchased the dress, and it shouldn't be sold to someone else just because she couldn't pick it up within seven days.

David's Bridal My Disappointing Experience with David's Bridal: Poor Service and Disorganization

I gotta say, my experience with David's Bridal was a bit of a mess. They seem to be all over the place and can't seem to keep track of their appointments. I mean, I get it, they're busy, but come on! I bought my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses from them and when it was time to pick everything up, we were missing shoes. I had to call the store and customer service multiple times before I finally received them, and it took months! I mean, seriously, it's not like I was asking for the moon here.

And don't even get me started on their customer service skills. They were non-existent. I had to wait 15+ minutes for my consultant to return, and they even got my wedding date wrong! They scheduled my alterations appointment a week before my wedding, which caused me a lot of stress and anxiety. It took me three months of constant contacting before they finally offered me a measly 10% off the shoes I ordered three months prior. And to top it all off, the representative I spoke to kept calling me "boo" like we were best friends or something. It was so unprofessional.

I spent over $4,000 at David's Bridal and all they offered me for their terrible service was $140 back. It's not about the money, it's about the principle. As brides, we put our trust in these companies and after they get our money, they don't seem to care anymore. I will never shop here again and I strongly advise other brides to look elsewhere.

To make matters worse, when I was in the store, no one even acknowledged me for the first 30 minutes. And after dragging this whole ordeal out for so long, you would think they would have been more accommodating, but nope. They couldn't even find the bell for my "say yes" moment, which was a huge disappointment. And to top it all off, there were other women in the store picking up their dresses that were dirty, torn, and the wrong size. They were even told they ordered new dresses! And don't even get me started on the undergarments they provide for brides to try on the gowns. They were absolutely filthy and I refused to put them on.

I don't want to go on and on, but I just want to warn other brides so they don't have the same experience as me. If you do decide to try David's Bridal, ask for Neva. She was the only bright spot in this whole mess, but even she seemed overworked and stressed out.

David's Bridal Poor Customer Service and Availability at David's Bridal: A Bride's Experience

I went to DB in December of 2019 as the bride. I had a scheduled time slot that allowed me to try on five dresses. I was interested in trying on a couple more, but they quickly concluded the visit and made me reschedule for another fitting. The dressing rooms were empty across from us, and my bridesmaids asked if they could try on a few dresses, but they were told no. The store wasn't busy, so we left. I ended up purchasing my wedding gown elsewhere.

In June of 2020, I called DB to discuss bridesmaid dresses. They told me that August was plenty of time for delivery in November of 2020. I took one of my four bridesmaids in August, and she picked her dress, only to find out at the register that it wasn't available. She only had three dresses to choose from, and no others were available. Then my second bridesmaid went and had seven options, perhaps due to size differences or location. When I took my junior bridesmaid, they had no options, so I looked online and found the dress she wanted on the DB website, so I ordered it.

My last bridesmaid made an appointment and picked a dress, but we are still waiting for delivery. For some reason, I tried one last time with my mom. I made a 4:30 appointment online, but when we arrived, the woman told me it was for 5:30. I pulled up the email and she insisted I was wrong. I showed her the email, and then she quickly blamed the computer system. We had help from the same woman from the first trip, and again she provided my mom with a dress that wasn't available, which we didn't know until she wanted that one and went to pay. I pulled it up on the DB website and ordered it, as it was available online! She received it in the mail four days later.

It seems like they don't care about brides or customers because they only have to work with them one time and don't care about future relationships. It's an awful way to run a business. I would not recommend DB to anyone looking for a stress-free wedding dress shopping experience.

David's Bridal Unprofessional and Rude: My Experience with David's Bridal

I gotta say, my experience with David's Bridal was not the best. I mean, I wish I could give them a big fat zero. I went there to find a dress for my step daughter's wedding, and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. I met with Dawn at the front entrance, and she just told me to find some dresses and write my name down. No guidance, no help, nothing. So, I went around the store and found about 6 dresses that I liked and went back to sign in. I told Dawn that I signed in and that there were a few dresses I was interested in. She just told me to bring them and that someone would let me into a fitting room. I mean, come on, is that how you treat your customers?

Anyway, I was escorted to a fitting room by a young Latina girl, who was nice enough to tell me that if I needed help zipping up my dress, I could find her in the front. But, she just left me there by myself, and I had to figure everything out on my own. I mean, I'm not a professional, I don't know how to do all of this stuff. So, I tried on some dresses, but I didn't really like any of them. I just put them back on the hanger and went to the app to order straight from there. I mean, if I'm not getting any help in the store, why bother?

In the end, I spent about $1900 on dresses that I plan on returning, because there wasn't much help in the store. It's really sad, because I've bought all my wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses here before COVID, and even my daughter's sweet 16 and her party shortly after. But, now it's just not worth it.

The only good thing about my experience was Nesha. She was actually working with a wedding group, but she saw that I had a lot of dresses in my hand and asked me if I needed help. She was the only one who didn't make me feel like I wasn't a buying client. I mean, I'll be back with my huge amount of dresses just so we can return them, but only because of Nesha. She deserves a 20 out of 5 for her excellent service.

Overall, my experience with David's Bridal was very unprofessional and rude. I'll definitely be back, but only for returns.

David's Bridal Disappointing Experience with David's Bridal: Poor Customer Service and Exorbitant Alteration Costs

I recently purchased a dress from David's Bridal for my second wedding on the beach. The customer service during the purchase phase was top-notch, with the sales associates offering helpful suggestions to complete my entire look. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when it came time for my dress fitting.

After receiving a phone call that my dress was in, I contacted my daughters to attend the fitting with me. However, when we arrived at the store, we were informed that the dress had not yet arrived, despite the decorative belt being in. We left the store and were not contacted again. After several weeks had passed, I attempted to contact the store during business hours, but was unable to leave a message due to the telephone prompts. After a few more tries, I opted for the alterations department prompt, where the seamstress put me on hold to check on my dress. She informed me that the dress was in, and I picked it up that day.

When I arrived for my alterations appointment, I was made to wait outside the door while an employee entered the store. Despite arriving at 9:58 for my 10 am appointment, I was not let in until exactly 10 am. When I informed the manager of the poor customer service, she offered no explanation or apology.

During the alterations, I was fitted and signed paperwork, only to be told that my $200 wedding dress would cost an additional $200 to alter. Despite being a size 12 and buying off the rack, a size 16 had been ordered, requiring significant alterations. My appointment was delayed to the point where it would have been difficult to find another seamstress in time for my wedding, leaving me feeling stuck with the exorbitant cost.

David's Bridal Disappointing Experience with David's Bridal: Poor Quality and Customer Service for My Wedding Dress

I am extremely disappointed with David's Bridal. The first dress I purchased was supposed to be brand new from the factory, but when it arrived, it had so many defects. It was missing things and falling apart at the seams before I could even take it out of the bag! I was really concerned about the quality of the dress, but unfortunately, I couldn't get my money back because it was past the 7-day purchase window. This was completely out of my control since I had to order the dress.

After expressing my concerns, I decided to purchase a different dress that I hoped would be of better quality. However, when it came time to order the dress, the store associate insisted that I order two sizes up from the size I tried on in the store. When I received the second dress, it was way too big! I called the store to inform them of the issue, and they told me to come in and see the alterations department.

At that moment, I expressed that I wanted to order the right size, but they told me they wouldn't do that and would just alter the dress to fit. I had no choice but to trust them, so I went to two alterations appointments. However, each time I expressed that I wasn't happy with how the dress looked. The alterations completely changed the shape of the top of the dress, and they had to take in 4.5 inches on each side for a total of 9 inches taken in on the dress because it was ordered in the wrong size per their staff.

I went back to the store to try and fix the situation, but they told me there was nothing they could do. They even offered me a 20% discount on another dress, but I had already spent hundreds of dollars on my dress and $500 on alterations with their company. This is my wedding dress, and it's a big deal. I feel like David's Bridal doesn't care about their customers and won't rectify the situation. It's just wrong.

David's Bridal Disappointing Service at David's Bridal Woodbridge: A Review

I recently went to David's Bridal to pick up my wedding gown, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the service and staff at the Woodbridge location. The first time I went to try on the dress and make my payment, everything went smoothly. The Alterations Manager was especially helpful and gave me some great advice. However, when I came back a few weeks later to pick up my dress, things took a turn for the worse.

The staff who helped me get my dress out of the receiver department were not very welcoming at all. When I asked about getting a garment bag for my dress, they told me I would have to pay an extra $10 for one. Now, my dress cost over $1600, so I was pretty surprised that they wouldn't just provide a garment bag for every purchase. The whole conversation with the staff member was not very pleasant. She seemed like she just wanted to get me out of there as quickly as possible, even though the store was pretty empty at the time. Her tone was rude and unfriendly, which really put a damper on my whole experience.

I was so disappointed with the service I received at David's Bridal. When you're paying that much money for a wedding gown, you expect to receive top-notch service. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone looking for a wedding gown.

I did receive a response from David's Bridal after I left my review, but they didn't offer any compensation or even a free garment bag. They simply apologized for the poor service and said they would use my feedback to improve in the future. While I appreciate the response, I still feel like they could have done more to make things right.

Overall, I would say that my experience at David's Bridal was pretty disappointing. If you're looking for a wedding gown, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

David's Bridal Disappointing Customer Service and Return Policy at David's Bridal

I just got off the phone with a store manager at David's Bridal, and let me tell you, I am not impressed. I had to drop out of a wedding last minute because of an international trip, and now I'm stuck with a bridesmaid dress that I don't need. I thought that in 2019, customer service would be a top priority for clothing companies, but apparently not at David's Bridal.

I was hoping for some kind of accommodation, like store credit, but the manager was not willing to budge. It's frustrating to see such an antiquated approach to customer service. The retail location and the online store are treated as separate entities, which just seems inefficient and wasteful.

What's even more frustrating is that David's Bridal doesn't offer customizable purchases, unless you get it altered. But all their styles are just sitting in a warehouse somewhere, ready to be sold. It's not like they're specially made for each customer. So why can't they offer store credit for unaltered dresses?

David's Bridal is supposed to be a mass market supplier of bridal apparel, catering to customers on a budget. But when they deny store credit, it feels like they're taking advantage of their customers. There's no effort to foster customer relationships or offer honest store policies.

Overall, I would not recommend David's Bridal, especially the location on W Pico Blvd in Los Angeles, CA. Save your money for a store that has a more accommodating return policy and isn't stuck in the 90s.

David's Bridal Disappointing Experience with David's Bridal: Rude Employees and Inconsistent Information on Alterations

So, I had a bit of a rough experience with David's Bridal. I had ordered a prom dress from a website and unfortunately, the top piece didn't fit quite right. I called ahead to see if David's Bridal could help me out with alterations. The lady on the phone said yes and even told me to come right in. I was a bit hesitant since I live an hour away, but she assured me that they were still open.

When I arrived, I asked to speak with the lady in alterations, but was told that she had already left for the day. I was pretty upset at this point, but I spoke with another employee to see when she would be back. That's when I was told that I would have to make an appointment for next week. I was about to agree when another employee chimed in and asked where I got the dress from. When I told them it was from a website, they gave me a rude look and said they couldn't touch it and that I would have to go somewhere else.

I was pretty frustrated at this point, especially since I had spoken with someone on the phone who had told me they could help me out. The fact that the employees in the store were so rude about it just made things worse. I understand that mistakes happen, but it's important for employees to know what to tell customers and to be polite about it.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at David's Bridal. I had purchased from them in the past and had even seen some wedding dresses that I really liked, but after this experience, I don't think I'll be shopping there again. It's a shame because I know they have some great products, but the service just wasn't up to par. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with employees who don't seem to care about their job or the customers they serve.

David's Bridal Non returnable item

I purchased a dress that I will not be able to wear at this time due to a cancelled wedding until further notice I have a family emergency that is going to take couple of months to resolve, I hope. My dress at the time of purchase was not on clearance yet since that time it has now gone on clearance which has only been a couple of weeks. I have not been able to come in due to being out of town taking care of family. I have not even picked up the dress yet. we are talking weeks not months and I'm being told that since my purchase it has gone on clearance, and I cannot get my money back which is not right at no point. Had I been told that if my dress goes on clearance, I am stuck maybe I would have waited due to us not being sure what was happening with our family at the time. David's Bridal Returned dress, affirm states refund not processed on db and - im still paying this loan for a dress I do not own or have possession of

On Jan 31, 2023, I made a purchase at a San Antonio DB via Affirm, and within 4-5 days (The return policy window) I returned the dress to a local DB here in Houston, Texas. A store manager processed the return and took the dress back and I had to scan in the virtual card I made the affirm purchase on originally. Here it is April 19th, and I am still making payments because the Affirm company states DB has not processed my refund. I have called the store multiple times to verify the return was made, and I am getting nowhere. Its been past the 45 day I was told it may take to process. I need my $ back, and now this is reporting on my credit (im still making payments for a dress I do not have).

Desired outcome: Refund to be processed 100% on DB end.

David's Bridal Incorrect order

I ordered two dresses for an upcoming event. One of the dresses received was the correct size. The dress that I like the most arrived but in the wrong size--not the size ordered on the confirmation. For 4 hours, I have been trying to reach customer service only to have my call redirected to the promotions department, with the explanation that customer service is busy but if I accept their offer, then I can be transferred. I do not want the offer. I would like assistance on the order. I have now called 5 times and heard the same pitch from the promotions department. Each time I am told to call back in 7 minutes, in 20 minutes, in 30 minutes. Each time I call back, I get the same story--customer service is busy but the promotions department has a deal for me. Are you kidding? Do you really think anyone is interested in a deal from a company that isn't responsive to customer needs? Then I was directed to text 38201 for quicker assistance. Over 90 minutes ago, I was told via text that I would hear from a customer service rep via text. Needless to say, that hasn't happened either.

Desired outcome: Correct item delivered in time for my event next week--expedited.

David's Bridal Wedding dress alterations incomplete two days before my wedding

April 5, 2023

My experience at the David’s Bridal in Madison, Mississippi (store # 0144) two days before my wedding was not the experience I was expecting after the amount money I spent on alterations to my wedding dress. On March 23, 2023 at 11:00 I was scheduled to pick up my wedding dress from the David’s Bridal in Madison Mississippi. Upon arrival I informed them I was there to pick up my wedding dress. The young lady brought out the dress, as if I was to take the dress and not try it on. I informed her I would need to try my dress on and I am so glad I did not just take the dress and trust the alterations had been done correctly. As I carefully took my dress out of the dress bag, I instantly noticed the jeweled belt was not secured to the dress and in places it was hanging. Then, I noticed the belt was stitched higher on one side. I figured that should be an easy fix, especially since I told them about this at my February 24, 2023 fitting. But, clearly this had not been addressed. As I put on the dress this is one I noticed the biggest shocker, I paid for the dress to bustle and for what I could tell, and it had not been completed. But, the lining of my dress had not been bustled. So, imagine my surprise as I am looking at my dress and the lining under my dress is hanging my longer than my actual dress. I informed the alterations attendant who stated, she’s just the steamer and the alterations manager was on the way and did I have time to wait. Well, at this point I did not have a choice with my wedding literally two days away. The alterations manager arrived and apologized and immediately obtained the tools needed to fix the problem. She also went to inform the store manager who came and asked me questions about the name of the alterations attendant who assisted me at my 2/24/23 fitting. The store manager attempted to call the young lady and I am not sure what the outcome was of that call. The alterations attendant said she knows how to sew, but does not sew and quite frankly was no help. She went on to say the ladies who actually do the alterations, take the dresses home with them to complete. I brushed passed all of the sidebar conversations because I am so focused on what will be done with the lining of my dress not being bustled. For three hours I stood in my wedding dress as the alterations manager created a bustle with the lining of my dress. At this point I am beyond frustrated, but I remained calm. She continued to apologize and said I would be compensated for the bustle not being completed correctly and the belt being sewed on lopsided. Imagine spending $600.27 dollars on alterations to your wedding dress and not satisfied with the outcome. When the attendant told the manager she did not want to get anyone in trouble for not completing the alterations, I was floored! To add insult to injury, after three hours of standing in my dress, hungry and tired, while they attempt to rectify the alterations mishap, I was only compensated $5.89! I had heard many horror stories about alteration mishaps at David’s Bridal and I was adamant to tell others my experience had been a very pleasant one, until two days before my wedding.

David's Bridal Galina signature embellished illusion lace bodysuit wedding dress

I placed a dress order on August 30, 2022 for the dress listed in the subject line. With the bodysuit NOT a lined skirt. The train was supposed to have extra length added that was not added. I was provided with the lined skirt dress, two sizes too big, missing train length, no bodysuit, and the zipper was broken. I had ordered the bag to carry the dress that I paid additional money for that was NOT provided nor anywhere to be found. The dress was supposed to come in February 13, 2022, and did not arrive until March 15th. I was not given a curtesy call, email, text or nothing letting me know the dress was in. I had to call the store to find out it even came in. Upon arrival, customer service was awful. They brought the dress out in a plastic bag and did not help clip the dress or help in any way when I tried it on. Just unlocked a dressing room and walked away. My mom was the one having to clip it for me so I can see how it will look. I was then told that the dress is no longer available store/site wide and "there's nothing they can do." The store did not offer to help make it right in anyway. I was only told that "the person that ordered it, no longer works here." My wedding is less than 90 days away, and I don't have the money nor time for a new dress at this point.

Desired outcome: I would like FREE alterations and a full REFUND on all items ordered. I also do not trust to have alterations with David's Bridal. I would like a check of some sort to take it elsewhere to be fixed and altered.

This was a ballgown type dress with a slip layer, a tulle layer, a satin layer, and a lacy overlay The alterations person didn't use a ruler to measure from the bottom.
