In 2022 energy assistance paid for the entire year for me. They issues two checks . The first check was on 04/5/2022 . The check number was [protected]. The amount was 520.00. The Eversource employees did not process the check until 06/16/2022.
The second check was issued 09/01/2022. The check number was [protected]. The amount was 245.00 dollars . The Eversource employees did not process the check until 09/30/2022.
The checks were processed extremely late , and the Eversource employees used my money instead of the energy assistance money for the year of 2022. But. They were supposed to use energy assistance money for the year of 2022 , and refund me back any money that I sent them . This was not done. Eversource kept my money and the money that energy assistance gave them. That is being greedy and it defeats the purpose of having energy assistance.
My bill was paid by energy assistance with a 520.00 dollar check and a 245.00 dollar check . This totals to 765.00 . This energy assistance money was already used in 2022. So, I should get a refund back for 160, 40.00, 40.00, 64.57, and any other payments thar I made in 2022 . Because, energy assistance was paying my bills that year and not me. The 160.00 dollars is a payment that I made because energy assistance only made two payments. They are The ones previously mentioned. And, for the year 2023 I do not have energy assistance. I have not applied for it. I am upset , disappointed, and alarmed that Eversource employees did not distinguish and separate my money from energy assistance money. I expected Eversource to be more organized. I did not expect the amount of stress and frustration experienced trying to get my money back as a refund. Originally, 542.67 was supposed to be refunded back to me and that was correct , but Eversource employees decided that every payment transaction was energy assistance. This is not correct. I have submitted documents from energy assistance stating the amount that they paid and the dates . I have also called and asked to speak with a supervisor degrading the dispute. I have been waiting for two days not and have not been contacted by a supervisor.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to pick-up my refund of 526.56. Because, it is my money and not energy assistance. money . Energy assistance money was used a year ago in 2022.
