Facebook Review: A Wedding Planner's Missteps in Tobago's Magdalena Grand

Facebook.com is a popular social media platform that has become a staple in the lives of many around the world. Users flock to the site to connect with friends and family, share photos and videos, and engage in discussions on a wide range of topics. Despite its widespread use, however, not all aspects of the platform are universally loved.

One user, in particular, recounts their experience planning a destination wedding in Tobago, West Indies, which was a mix of good and bad. While the hotel they stayed at, the Magdalena Grand, was a lovely location with helpful staff, their experience with the wedding planner they hired through the hotel, Therese Chung Waldropt, was far from perfect.

Although the user had initial misgivings about Waldropt's experience with destination weddings, they decided to hire her anyway. Unfortunately, things quickly began to unravel as Waldropt proved to be an over-communicator who was prone to lying about vendor services and charging exorbitant amounts of money for less than stellar results. Waldropt was also unreliable when it came to coordinating events, which caused a great deal of stress for the wedding party and guests.

Despite these challenges, not all was lost for the user's wedding as they received exceptional service from Carineh Deokiesingh, a staff member at the Magdalena Grand who went above and beyond to make their stay and wedding experience special. While Therese Chung Waldropt may have been a disappointment, thanks to her, the user was able to learn valuable lessons about the importance of using reputable destination planning businesses and conducting thorough research before making important decisions.

All in all, while Facebook.com may not have been able to prevent the user's negative experience with Therese Chung Waldropt, it continues to be a popular online community that enables users to connect with others and share their experiences, both positive and negative.

Facebook Choice Home Warranty and Phillips Plumbing Refuse to Take Responsibility for Installation Mishap

Facebook.com is a popular social media platform that has connected people from all over the world for nearly two decades. While it has revolutionized the way we communicate, express ourselves, and even do business, there have been some negative experiences reported by users over the years.

One such experience is detailed in a recent review about Choice Home Warranty and White Glove Piping & Drain Service, and a malfunctioning water heater. The reviewer explains how their water heater stopped working and how Choice dispatched a plumber named Pete K. to investigate the issue. Pete K. discovered that the wiring had burned/melted due to the electrical unit not being installed properly, and that a connector was missing that could have prevented the wires from melting.

While Pete K. was not authorized to fix the issue, the reviewer paid him the fee of $60. Despite the fact that the electrical issue had been caused by improperly installed components, Choice Home Warranties denied service, advising the reviewer to contact the original plumbers who had installed the water heater.

The reviewer then called ROBERT L PHILLIPS PLUMBING CO., and spoke with Brandi who confirmed the install, and told the reviewer they would send a repair person to evaluate the issue on January 4th, 2021. On January 4th, their repair person Daniel confirmed that the water heater was improperly installed and that the wires were stretched to their max, and there were gouges on the melted wires due to friction against metal. Moreover, the water heater was mounted on small wood blocks of 4 x 4 to try to make the electrical connection reach the wiring!

After speaking with Courtney, Daniel's manager, the reviewer was told that Phillips Plumbing could only fix the water heater after the electrical wiring was replaced and corrected by the reviewer. Despite the fact that two plumbers, including Daniel, had admitted that the water heater electrical had NOT been installed properly, Phillips Plumbing was unwilling to cover the costs of fixing the issue.

After a series of frustrating conversations with Phillips himself, who was rude and unprofessional, the reviewer finally called an electrician to fix their wiring and identified that the installation issue was due to a missing Greenfield connector. The electrical repair cost $125, and the reviewer requested that Phillips Plumbing reimburse them for this cost, as well as the initial $60 service fee from Choice Warr.

Overall, this review highlights the importance of working with reliable and trustworthy contractors, and the frustration that can arise when a company refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes.

Facebook Facebook: A User-Friendly Platform for Staying Connected and Networking

Facebook is a social networking website that connects people from various parts of the world. It is a user-friendly platform that allows users to share posts, images, videos, and files, and also chat with their friends and family.

My experience with Facebook has been great so far. I have been using the platform for several years now, and I must say that it has made my life a lot easier. Not only has it helped me stay connected with friends and family, but it has also allowed me to network with professionals in my field.

One of the things I like most about Facebook is how easy it is to use. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, making it a breeze for users to find what they are looking for. I also appreciate the fact that Facebook is constantly updating its features to improve the user experience.

Another feature that makes Facebook stand out is its privacy settings. Users can control who sees their posts, images, and videos, making it a safe and secure platform to use. Additionally, Facebook has strict policies in place to protect users from fraudsters, hackers, and cyberbullying.

Overall, my experience with Facebook has been positive. It has helped me stay connected with loved ones, network with professionals, and provided a space for me to share my thoughts and ideas. I highly recommend Facebook to anyone looking for a safe and user-friendly social networking platform.

Facebook The Prevalence of Scams and Fake Profiles on Facebook: A Concerning Issue

Joining FACEBOOK over a year ago has been a mixed experience, with many positives but also some significant issues that have been inadequately addressed. One of the main concerns is the platform's puritanical censorship policy, which is overly harsh on even partial nudity. However, a far more pressing issue is the prevalence of scam and fake profiles, which range from low-rent scammers seeking ITunes or Amazon gift cards to bigger criminals operating relationship and marriage scams.

The sheer number of scammers on FACEBOOK is concerning, with many posing as US military personnel or American students based in Ghana. These white Africans, descendants of the British when Ghana was a British colony, have hundreds of fake profiles with different names and identities, flooding FACEBOOK with scams for cards and cash. Moreover, there are also criminals in Nigeria and Germany targeting users with blackmail and hacking techniques.

These scammers are wrecking FACEBOOK for many users, trashing the platform and negatively impacting the safety and emotions of users. It makes one wonder - why is this problem so rife and what is FACEBOOK doing to address it? Many US military profiles and other fake profiles are widely known to be phony, yet FACEBOOK fails to act until users report them. This raises questions about the platform's ability to detect and prevent fake profiles and scams effectively.

Furthermore, FACEBOOK places a great emphasis on the importance of connecting with friends but fails to protect users from the thousands of scammers, criminals, creeps, stalkers, and thieves operating on its platform. These criminals use platforms like WhatsApp and Hangouts to coax victims into sending ITunes cards, cash transfers, or enter relationship or marriage scams. FACEBOOK does not issue sufficient warnings about these dangerous individuals, and many fake profiles remain active despite their harm to users.

Personal experience also shows that many of the apparent single women on FACEBOOK are actually men, and their alleged profiles are supported by other men such as their boyfriend, husband, pimp, etc. Alongside this, some fake profiles even feature stolen photographs of women porn actresses, with the same women appearing on countless profile pages with different identities. It is unclear how FACEBOOK can overlook such fraudulent and dangerous activity.

In summary, FACEBOOK is increasingly being viewed as an unsafe environment for users due to its poor management of fake profiles and scams. The platform needs to take this issue more seriously and take significant steps in cleaning up its service. While there are many positive aspects of FACEBOOK, the negative impacts of scammers and fake profiles significantly outweigh these benefits.

Facebook False News

I continually get (and report) fake news regarding Robert Peston and James May, both UK household names. Each time I report them but they continually re-appear as if you have no way of stopping them. There must also be many other "celebrities" that have False News posted, so I'd expect you to be able to screen these if many posts appear on the same person? Surely by now you must have had others report these False News postings and be able to screen out these posts, on the Name alone?

Facebook Reinstate the account

I recently learned of this forum. Facebook deleted my account in around 6/5/2022 because I refused to upload a video of me slowly turning my head side to side. I complained because I am and Illinois resident and believed this is a violation of Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. Per the Jackson Lewis FAQ named "Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act:"

The BIPA largely went unnoticed until 2015, when a series of five class action lawsuits of similar nature were brought against businesses alleging unlawful collection and use of the biometric data of Illinois residents. (See – Pezen v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-03484 (N.D. Ill. Apr. 21, 2015); Licata v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-04022 (N.D. Ill. May 5, 2015); Patel v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv- 04265 (N.D. Ill. May 14, 2015); and Gullen v. Facebook Inc., 1:15-cv-07861 (N.D. Ill. Aug. 31, 2015); Norgberg v. Shutterfly, Inc., 1:15-cv-05351 (N.D. Ill. June 17,

2015)).

Claimed loss: I had also posted several links to Science Journal, Medical Journal, and Medical experts that the US government had encouraged Facebook to prevent from being viewed. The timeline of this data would be helpful in a book I am writing.

Desired outcome: Facebook needs to reinstate the account for me, Troy Gee with, e-mail [protected]@gmail.com,

Facebook SCAM OUT OF CONTROL ON FACEBOOK

I joined FACEBOOK a little over a year ago. Overall, I would say that FACEBOOK has more going for it than against it. However, it does have some significant problems that are being inadequately addressed. There is a censorship issue. It is quite puritanical and is very harsh on even partial nudity. But much more important than this is the issue of scam and fake profiles. There are thousands of scammers, fake profiles and criminals that operate on FACEBOOK. There are safeguards which are absolutely necessary. But, they are not enough. FACEBOOK issues no warnings about fake profiles or scammers. At least none that I have seen. The issue, for me, is the huge number of criminals that operate on there. Why and how are they there? They range from low rent scammers trawling FACEBOOK for ITunes cards, Amazon Gift cards and money transfers through to bigger criminals running marriage and relationship scams. The scammers are both male and female. A surprisingly high number of women scam on FACEBOOK. There is a real problem with fake US MILITARY profiles. They are particularly nasty scammers, usually wanting large sums of money. They run marriage scams. There is a particularly bad problem with white women in Ghana. They say they are American students. In reality, they are white Africans born in Ghana. Descendants of The British when Ghana was a British Colony. They have hundreds of fake profiles. Different names, identities. They flood FACEBOOK. Scamming for cards and money. There are also white Africans in Nigeria that scam.My question is why is all this going on? FACEBOOK needs to take this problem far more seriously and really needs to clean it up. Scamming on FACEBOOK is not a victimless crime. People get hurt. I, personally have had some shocking experiences with some vicious scammers. I was once threatened with being shot dead because I would not send $750 US to Germany. FACEBOOK removed that profile. It was a fake US MILITARY profile. But why was that profile on FACEBOOK in the first place?. These scammers are wrecking FACEBOOK. Trashing it. Many people are aware that most US MILITARY profiles, on FACEBOOK, are fake.It is quite widely known. So, the question arises; how are they getting onto FACEBOOK? The same question arises with the Ghana scammers. The same photographs of the same women on profile after profile after profile. No one, at FACEBOOK, is picking this up? I know, just from observation, that many photographs of women on, fake profiles, come from PINTEREST.Other photographs are of porn actresses. These actresses actually have their own pages on FACEBOOK.No one at FACEBOOK notices this? It is, also, incredible to me that such obvious scam such as the FACEBOOK LOTTERY can operate freely. I have had many friends requests from FACEBOOK CLAIMS OFFICERS, concerning my winnings in the FACEBOOK lottery. I have had friends requests from Prince Harry? From Mark ZUCKERBERG himself? Dwayne JOHNSON is, apparently, giving away millions of dollars? Ellen DeGeneres is also, apparently, giving away millions of dollars. FACEBOOK really is SCAM CENTRAL. FACEBOOK says that it works better with friends. This is true.It encourages people to send friend requests and to accept friend requests. But it cannot do this, at the same time, as it allows tens of thousands of scammers, criminals, creeps, stalkers and thieves to operate. If any of these criminals are accepted, as friends, then the consequences can be very bad indeed. They will stalk on Messenger, WhatsApp and Hangout. Scammers prefer Hangout and WhatsApp because, these Apps are cheaper, than Messsenger, for them to operate on. Apply the psychological pressure quickly, tell monumental lies. Anything to get those ITunes cards and Cash transfers. FACEBOOK issue no warnings about these creeps. Some fake profiles are removed. But, at any one time, there are always thousands of them operating. As an example of how nasty and unpleasant it can get I will run through some of the abuse thrown at me when I have resisted some of these criminals. I have been called"A LIAR","A COWARD","NOT A GIVING PERSON","AN ALIEN","AN IDIOT","A FOOL","A STINGY [censored]","A $#*!". FACEBOOK should not be about this type of garbage. Oh, one other thing. Although there are a lot of women scamming on FACEBOOK, lots of these"women"are actually men. Many of the apparent single women actually work with guys.It is sometimes their husband, boyfriend or brother. Possibly, even their pimp. There are some obvious questions here. Are FACEBOOK'S systems for detecting and preventing scam and fake profiles woefully inadequate? Are they looking the other way? Do they simply not care? Do they actually like these fake profiles and scammers? People are conned. People do have money stolen. The consequences can also possibly be even more dire. I worry about sensitive people being on FACEBOOK. A favourite trick of the FACEBOOK scammer is to block the victim after they have scammed. So, a vulnerable person believes the garbage, from the scammer, about being in love and wanting marriage. The victim lays out thousands of dollars. Giving it to the scammer for various lying reasons. Then suddenly the victim is blocked. What does the victim go through? It is, unfathomable, that thousands of profiles featuring photographs of the same women, all with different identities, get onto FACEBOOK daily? As it currently stands I would not rate FACEBOOK as a safe environment. Many fake profiles feature a female porn actress named Dani Daniels(not her real name). I have had numerous friend requests and had communication with profiles featuring photographs of this person. Countless profiles feature her.In my experience the profile pretends to be an American girl, living in the US.The profile is usually scamming for ITunes cards. The origin of these fake profiles seems to be Ghana.Other porn actresses that feature in fake profiles are Aletta Ocean and Angela White. Another problem I encountered was information being taken from my profile and then being included on fake profiles. I had to take a lot of information off my profile. There also appears to be a German connection in relation to some fake profiles and scam. Recently a profile, on FACEBOOK, Took some photographs of me from my profile and set up a profile using a different name. There is also an increasing trend in the use of blackmail. A lot of apparent young single women are Nigerian or West African men. Watch for US Military profiles, American women with the surname coming first and young women who say they live with their Uncle. Also, be suspicious of young women whose mother is ill in hospital. Hacking is also a problem. My account was recently hacked. Photograph stealing. I once blocked a profile that had begun to stalk me in pursuit of money. The mother, of the profile, was critically ill in hospital apparently. The Profile appeared to be of a young black woman. A couple of months later I went back to my extensive blocked list. The profile was now a white woman.

Facebook My personal account being disabled for no reason

Someone hacked my facebook and linked their Instagram account. I have no idea what they did but that instagram got disabled, and in turn, my facebook was disabled since it was linked to it. Apparently there is a process to appeal but facebook isn't allowing me to go through the process to appeal the disabling of my account. There is no way i can contact them either. Its unfair that my facebook gets linked to some random instagram, and because of whatever they did, my account is disabled.

Facebook My account with Facebook was suspended.

I was told that my account was suspended because I didn't comply with their rules. what rule did I break that I didn't comply with? They don't tell me that. I wrote a letter and never heard back from them. I don't think much of Facebook when they knock you off and don't give more details as to why they did it.

I had used Facebook for years prior to this.

Desired outcome: Unsuspend my account

About Facebook

Screenshot Facebook
Facebook is a widely recognized social networking platform that allows users to connect and share with family and friends online. Originally created for college students, Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg and has since become available to anyone over the age of 13 with a valid email address.

The platform's core services include the ability to create a personal profile, add other users as friends, post text and photo updates, send messages, and receive notifications when others update their profiles or interact with posts. Facebook also offers a live video streaming feature, the ability to create and join groups based on various interests, and the option to create and promote events.

In addition to its social networking capabilities, Facebook provides a marketplace for buying and selling goods locally, as well as a gaming platform that can be accessed within the site. Businesses and creators can set up Pages to connect with their audience, run targeted advertisements, and gain insights through Facebook's analytics tools.

Over the years, Facebook has expanded its product offerings to include other services such as Messenger, a standalone messaging app, and has acquired other companies like Instagram, a photo and video sharing platform, and WhatsApp, an encrypted messaging service.

Facebook's services are accessible via web browsers or through its mobile app, available on various smartphone and tablet devices. The platform aims to facilitate communication and content sharing among its vast user base, which spans across a diverse, global audience.
