Family Dollar received fake $20 bill

Yesterday the cashier gave me a fake $20 bill. My receipt shows $50 bill for the items purchased and one of the bills was fake. These two bills went right to my deposit at Hope Federal Savings in New Orleans, La. where the representative brought to my attention. He kept the $20 bill but allowed me to take picture. Please refund my $20. My savings deposit is short because of this serious error. Receipt and picture of the fake $20 bill is available for your records. This serious incident has occurred with other neighbors but Never with me.

Family Dollar unethical employee behavior

This incident occurred on 11/14/2017 at the 10747 Homestead location in Houston, TX. The employees name is Nicole and she basically threaten me and told me to get out the store before her Bipolar kicks in. she also made reference to the deodorant that I wanted. It's put up because of people like you that wants to get something for free. I told her I'm almost 60 yrs old and I don't steal or have time for this. I don't appreciate your employee addressing me in that manner at all. She also stated what she wanted to do to me and said girl bye get out the store.

Your complaint was slightly difficult to read due to your grammar. It certainly sounds like there is more to the situation than you are describing. If it really did occur as you say, you may wish to contact the manager of that location.

Family Dollar customer service

I would like to say that I am very displeased with the employees at family dollar. I have had two bad experiences at this same family dollar & I promise you if family dollar sit on my lawn in front of my home I will never step another foot inside of one. First encounter, a employee played around with me & told me that my voice was deeper than his & that I sound like a man...well I thought that was totally out of place being that I had a very bad sinus infection & really wasn't feeling my best. As I asked for the store manager who walked through the door & I explained to her what happened she truly didn't care & just brushed it off & they wouldn't even as much as give me a number to the general manager. Second situation I went in the same store & picked up a hand basket got the 5 items that I went in for and put the basket on the counter & the clerk didn't even as much as help me put my things on the counter but after giving her my money & she gave me my change back, I attempted to walk away & I left the basket on the counter because my hands were full she said excuse me the basket need to be put back in it's place...how rude when both of my hands were full. Now as a business owner I would never allow any of my employees to have ever made a customer put a basket, tray, magazine etc back. I will never step foot in family dollar again. It crazy how you put these stores in the neighborhood but don't have any respect for the people that patronize or spend their hard earn money their. This family dollar need a whole overhaul of employees & customer service. When I go to Dollar general they are so pleasant I will travel an extra mile to get good customer service.

Family Dollar store manager always complaining about her help

I visit Family Dollar in Hendersonville North Carolina at least twice or more a week. Sharon the manager is always saying, and I quote "No one does anything, I have to do it all. I have no help at all" The three ladies who work there along with Sharon, do work, you have a cashier and two assistant managers who I think do a good job. Most times Sharon is there by herself during the day, because there are not enough hours for everyone. And then when there are hours for more people, Sharon is complaining about all of them outside to other managers and customers. I feel sorry for the workers who work with Sharon, since they aren't appreciated. My wife and I are considering no longer going to this Family Dollar because of Sharon and all of her complaining when the ladies are actually working. I would think that a manager wouldn't say such horrible things about her workers when they actually do work.

Family Dollar service rude manager

Just left the Family Dollar in Terre Haute Indiana Plaza North Shopping Center phone number is [protected]. I'm pretty sick with the way the so-called manager acted I brought a pair of shoes up to purchase that had $4 on the box that I got them out of mind you every single pair in that box was the same same shoe just different sizes the whole box said $4 a pair they rang up 7 I asked her to go check she said she wouldnt the price on the tag is what they would bring up. So I was like really you're really not going to go check that is so rude she goes to say how am I being rude and I tell her that's not good customer service least she could do is go walk over there and check the box. So at the end of our back and forth me calling her rude her saying she's not rude in the price on the tag is what it will bring up and she's not going to go check I tell her thank you have a good day and I hope they get a new manager of that store!

Family Dollar bad music being played in the store

Today I walked inside the family dollar on west beaver st in Jacksonville Florida. I had my 3 year old daughter with me and they were playing some music with such horrible profanity I couldn't even stomach it! The words in the song was n[censor], d[censor] and f[censor]. I can't believe you call yourselves a family dollar when you have music like that playing in your store I will never bring my family in there again. This was at 2:40pm on Monday 11/13/2017.

Family Dollar rude employees

I went to my local store to make a purchase of a couple packs of cigars. The cashier who's name was Tremeka according to her name tag very rudely tried to refuse excepting some lose change saying that the pennies have to be rolled when I had less than $0.50 in pennies. This is not the first time I've been in that store and treated poorly by Tremeka almost everytime I go there she seems to have an attitude.

Family Dollar customer service

On Oct 28, 2017 we went in to the above store. We purchased an Xbox gift card as well as other purchases. My total was 138.35 including the gift card for xbox. On Nov 07 my grandson tried to use the card realized no code was on the receipt or the card the cashier provided to us. On Nov 08, 2017 I returned to the same store to return the card requesting the code or refunding my money. The cashier took it in to her boss to deal with it . Finally the boss returned stating she had talk to her boss saying't' no returns on cards. I stated I didn't want a refund just wanted the code your cashier didn't provided. All she said is no refunds, she was very rude an no name tag was on any of the employees. At this time I requested the corporate office phone number. I was given the number and stated I would not be in this store every again. I have tried to call the corporate office several times to be on hold for long time. I tried to call a few minutes ago remaining on hold starting at 9:34 AM at 10:01 AM I was hung up on. This issue still remains unresolved and I am out $25.00. Has anyone else had to deal with something like this and was there a resolution.

Family Dollar I am complaining about the customer service that I received on 11/6/17 in the berrien springs, michigan store.

This incident occured on 11/6/17 in the Family Dollar Store located in Berrien Springs. I was unable to get the employers name when I asked him for his name he said it doesn't matter. I went looking around the store for the manager and found her but I do not have her name either. Details of the incident are as follows:

The Caucasian male was very rude. He did not double bag my large Mott Juices and the bag tore and my juices fell out on the ground on the way to my car. I went back in the store and told him what had happened. I also asked for 2 bags so that I could double bag them or bag them separately. He refused to give me 2 bags because Christmas was coming and they needed extra bags. I asked him for his name and he said it didn't matter. He wore glasses and had a beard. He also told me that I didn't have to come back in the store anymore. I went looking for the manager and she came and gave me another bag. She didn't say anything else (light compexion with glasses). She smiled at the rude employee. She never addressed me and she probably never said anything to him. I have been shopping in this store since 2006. I have never received such rude customer service. Please address this issue. Thanks

Family Dollar bedford, in family dollar

Rude women working here! Every time I walk in these women are snide, make rude comments, are very judgemental, and make fun of me when I have a return..tell me I have to put my purse behind the counter, when I've never had to ever, anywhere before, and no one else did, went thru my bag, and treated me like general crap. I more than likely will never return!

Family Dollar store manager

I visited family dollar on Louisiana ave looking to buy a few grocery items. I walked to the first isle and as I turned the isle the manager told me I needed to bring my purse to the front counter for the cashier to hold. Mind you, I have never been in this store before and my first time I was treated like a criminal. He was very rude and another woman went in with a purse like mine and he didn't tell her anything. I cried as I ran out the store and the cashier gave me the corporate phone number but I lost it. She cared about me more than the manager. Never going back there again! The managers name was Charles..

Family Dollar manager

Today, November 6, 2017, a friend and I took a trip to Family Dollar #735, to buy some medicine cause my friend is sick. Once inside my friend couldn't decide if she wanted store brand or a cheap name brand of cough syrup, after establishing that she wasn't interested in either, and would rather go to Walmart because of their broader selection we started to leave the store. My friend put both bottles of medicine back on the shelf. As we were leaving a family dollar employee, (the employees and manager of the shift refused to give their name or store number for identification) came up to us and asked my friend to show her where she put down the bottles. My friend didn't pick up on the implication that she was stealing and happily showed her where the medicine was, and I that moment to ask why the employee didn't ask where I put down MY candy as I knew she didn't see me put it down. She politely, and jokingly asked where I put my candy. I remarked, "NOW you want to be friendly." And at that precise moment the store manager walked up, grabbed my personal item of hair ties out my bag and started asking me where I got it. She was being very rude, pressing me to present her a receipt even though it was open and there was clearly hair ties missing. Other employees started taking notice and came to watch. The manager declared that since I couldn't present a receipt she would keep the hair ties, mind you I bought them a whole different store a few days prior. At that outburst I told her she would be stealing and I would promptly call the cops if she didn't return my hair ties. She kept repeating, "Where's the receipt?" When I pulled out my phone and started dialing the number she finally put the hair ties back in my bag and declared she saw my friend stealing and that she was a thief. She claimed she had one of the bottles in her bag even though the original employee who inquired about them had both of them in her hands. At that point another employee came to me and told me that he had sent our pictures to the local school. I found this very humorous as we have already both graduated and are college bound. I told him as much and he said that they were still sending our photos to the school. We've never even set foot on the campus. The manager at this point was yelling both of us to ‘get the [censor] out her store', saying that ‘no one steals from my store.' The manager proceeded to continue telling us the previous statement and same employee who informed us of our photos told us the cops were on their way and preceded to walk us out the store. The whole while we were leaving you could hear the manager yelling curse words at us. We were not the only two customers there was multiple customers in the store. This all happened just before 4:22 pm.

Family Dollar store manager

The store manager at Braddock hills shopping center, is always always late. Usually its on a Sunday but this morning 11/6, i spoke with an associate the verified the store opens at 9am but because the manager had not gotten their yet 9:20 am at this point she apologized but could not service myself or the other 5 customers waiting. Long story short i think the employee who can get their on time & give great customer service should be the one responsible for the store. I went to the wilkinsburg store and got what i needed, however i live 5 minutes from the Braddock hills store and 20 minutes from the wilkinsburg store. Very inconvenient

Family Dollar service

On 11/04/2017 I visited store #10168 as I do 1/2 times a day (I coupon) I have been a family dollar customer long before I started couponing! Then I noticed that every time I would come in the store (Sara) the manager would stop doing what she was doing just to ring me out which I had no problem with the problem began when it was clear that she did not like the fact that I used coupons legitimate coupons at that! So on this particular day it was very rude very disrespectful talked about me to customers made a statement that she was sick and tired of me and my coupons she even went as far as calling me a [censor] I have a sworn statements from some of the customers who were in the store at the time of the incident who witnessed how I was treated in your store on this day
I am a business owner and I coupon to give low income clients gift bags at the end of the year. I know a lot of people in the neighborhood as well as staff I never give a hard time about my coupons the manager behavior was unprofessional, demeaning, rude, nasty, disrespectful and unwarranted and I would never allow one of my staff to speak to any of my clients the way she spoke to me that day I would appreciate if someone would contact me immediatly concerning this matter

Family Dollar cashier

Hi, I've been shopping at family for more than 4 years at the same store, and I never have any complaints over any worker. But as I went today as you can see in the images I've sent, the cashier treated me really bad today, and it offended me very much. She had a very bad attitude towards me, and I almost got into a huge argument with her. And I called the store to talk to the manager, and I don't think the manager solved any of my problems, and when I tried to call again to ask for the name she said it was Linda, I'm not sure that's her actual name, because when I was still at family dollar I told the cashier that I would report her to the manager, so I don't know if that was actually the manager I was talking to or the cashier.

Family Dollar extremely bad cookware sets

I am really sorry to say that I bought a cookware set (7 piece ) from family dollar( 611 W 11th St, Indianapolis, IN 46202). But after using it for the second time, the nonstick was out of the pan. And after that my all food was mixed with that color and my food was completely waste. I have been using after coming to USA. But sorry to say this time I am extremely disappointed with the product.

Black stuff comes off of pans after cooking with them. Probably not safe to consume those pieces in food. I give these pans zero stars very unsafe very hazardous. Would not recommend using these pans to cook food for your children. These pans are very dangerous and toxic !

I BOUGHT THESE AT FAMILY DOLLAR IN NEW BEDFORD ON RODNEY FRENCH STREET FOR $16.99 AND 3 OR 4 MONTHS LATER THEY LOOKED LIKE THIS. THE BIG ON AND THE MEDIUM POTS I LOST THE OTHER TWO. I WAS GOING TO TAKE THEM BACK BUT MY RECEIPT DISAPPEARED.

I WAS GOING TO LET YOU KNOW BECAUSE THE TOPS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE BUT THE PANS RUST QUICKLY.

If you still have your receipt, you could try to take it back to the store of purchase for a replacement or refund (they may not be able to do anything, but it doesn't hurt to try). It may be under some type of warranty.

Family Dollar manager at 4601 e truman rd, kansas city, mo 64127

The manager was snippy and dishonest about the return policy. The item was not returned even though the original receipt was provided, product was in package and was not damaged. I was calm and respectful. He wouldn't listen. He also felt the need to mention he saw me purchase the item on camera which I personally thought was actually good on my behalf.

I have been shopping at the family dollar located on 4601 E Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127 since the store was built.many employees and now the new manager who would not identify himself has shown the true meaning of customer dissatisfaction and poor customer service. I'm no longer shopping at any family dollar from now on until the current manager at 4601 E Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64127 family dollar is no longer employed at that location or company.

Not only that he made up a lie about why I could not return the item. He said that electronic items like DVD's cannot be returned by law. He needs to be fired. He probably beats and rapes his own mother.

The majority of stores won't allow returns of DVD's, video games, et cetera due to piracy risks. They usually only allow exchanges for the exact same item and only if it is defective.

In regards to the assumption that you made, such a suggestion over something as small as a return policy is horrible and insane. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Family Dollar lack of service received at 3302 liberty rd location, houston, tx 77026

My brothers and I, after leaving the local convenience store in our neighborhood, decided to go to this particular Family Dollar. It's the closest one to the house, plus it saved us from having to go to Metro PCS in the dark just for some headphones. Plus, I was going to save $5. So far, so good, right?

Well, here's when everything went awry. First, upon arriving, BEFORE ANY OF US EVEN WENT INSIDE, we were all informed that we would have to leave the bags that we had from the other store OUTSIDE. WE WERE WALKING!

Second, after I made my purchase, I was told by two employees that weren't even ON DUTY, that we weren't allowed to loiter. I WAS JUST CHECKING MY HEADPHONES TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY WORKED! Needless to say, we all were livid.

Choice words were exchanged by both parties before we decided to leave. This almost turned into an altercation that was newsworthy simply because of racial profiling. In fact, I'm contemplating litigation.

Family Dollar management and the employees

I called family Dollar to find out how much it is for flour before walking all the way there. First someone hung up on me three times, and once I got a manager on the phone she was very rude. She said she didn't have time to price a check because she was about to get off. In a very rude manner, which is very unprofessional. I will never shop at family Dollar again. Even going into the store the employees are rude and unprofessional.

Family Dollar store manager charles wright. store 1714, location 107 carmel avenue

On 10/02/2017 @13:00:36 store manager Charles wright opened a bag of chips ate a few which were supposed to be disposed of due to low quality. Knowing company policy this is called for immediate termination due to theft. Also he has had relations with his former employee whom he resides with. On multiple occasions he Haas parked in the back of the store dropped the employee in the back of the building to hide their relationship. He is also very rude arrogant and disrespectful to both customers and employees. All of these concerns were captured on security footage. He and the district manager are really good friends so employees did not bring this to DM attention due to conflict of interest.
