Hello my Name is Manuel Gonzalez and I am trying to renew my car insurance policy with a new insurance company. When they ran my Lexis Nexis driving record It appears that Farmers Insurance reported two towing incident (s). The towing incident is causing collateral damage to my driving record. I have been denied insurance by several insurance companies because of being a towing risk.
I have filed a dispute with Lexis Nexis and am going to file a dispute with the State insurance commissioner of California. My rebuttal is due to the fact that Farmers Insurance did not inform me when I obtained the policy that towing is a reportable incident.
Regards,
Manuel Gonzalez.
Desired outcome: Please remove the towing incident(s) from my record so that I may obtain new car insurance.

I tried to get them to reinstate my policy and they said they could not because the ins company was no longer doing business in California. I then Found another agent because I no longer could get ahold of mines. The...

Elliot Dudley Farmers Insurance Agent 655 W Warner Rd Ste 107 Tempe, AZ 85284 [protected]@farmersagent.com [protected]
On March 1, 2023 I purchased a farmers insurance policy, in the amount of $803.88. Elliot did informe me that it would go up on my renewal date September 1, 2023. I was expecting an increase, But was not expecting $499.37. Making my new payment $1303.25. So I sent an email requesting cancelation of this policy. Elliot did call me and wanted to workout a new policy but I new Elliot could not match the new policy I received from Allstate. I did agreed to send him a copy of my new policy to see what he could do for me. After another week went by I called his office and spoke to one of his staff members and they were great. The gentleman helped me and informed me that my policy was cancelled. He stated that I would receive a refund. Now another week has went by and I sent Elliot another email inquiring about my refund. Again no reply. Would you be able to inquire about my refund $1303,25 and get back to me? Thank you for assisting me.

Read full review of Farmers Insurance GroupAuto insurance cancellation
After over 20 years with MetLife Auto Insurance, I am writing this to express my disappointment at the transition from MetLife Auto to Farmers Insurance. My policy has been canceled multiple times by Farmers.
1. Farmers did not provide updated payment address and were refunding my payments and then sending failure to pay notices, eventually cancelling my insurance.
2. Farmers for the last time unexpectedly cancelled my insurance after making adjustments to my policy i.e. adding and removing vehicles. Farmers failed to provide a payment update instead made an unexpected cancellation of my policy without any prior notice. I was a solid policyholder for years before Farmers took over my account last year from MetLife.
3. I have never missed a payment or violated any policy terms. Since the Farmers takeover, I paid high premiums.
The cancellation of my policy has caused considerable inconvenience. Farmers continue to send non-payment notices for $500 with a threat to blemish my A-1 status credit. This amount was paid on 7/7 via check. I have provided evidence from my bank on this transaction several times.
I have since moved to a high performing quality insurance company, with rates 50% better than Farmers for the exact policy that I have had for years with MetLife.
I am requesting a refund of the $500 for overpaying Farmers on my policy. Your lack of communication and transparency in this matter is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your company’s reputation.
Failure to provide satisfactory compensation, I plan to escalate this matter to higher authorities. I hope to resolve this matter amicably and promptly with you.
Desired outcome: Refund $500 for high premium paid last 6 months.
Farmers Auto Insurance
I had a car accident on 4/30/2023. The police report indicates that the other driver is at fault in this collision for failing to stop at a red light, in
violation of 21453(a)cvc. I filed all related documents and pictures to the Farmers assigned inspector, repaired my damaged car and paid $1000 deductible for the body shop to work on the repairment. I assumed that Farmers Insurance will reimburse me later. However, on 7/6/2023 Farmers informed me that they have received a letter from a lawyer of the other driver and asked me to sign a Farmer Insurance information release authorization form to start a so called Arbitration process. Then on 7/21/2023, Framers sent me an email to tell me that the arbitrator has reached a decision that both drivers were 50% liable for the other vehicle's damages and I lost my $1000 deductible even the other driver ran the red light and was at fault indicated clearly in the police report.
I am so shocked with this unfairness and unlawful decision.
Auto, homeowners, umbrella policies
I've been in too many discussions with my agent and his assistant since December of 2022. I needed to change my policies and was given poor advice, incorrect information, and I get no response for updates. It all started with putting my cars in storage while I'm out of the country. Against their recommendation, I returned my plates to Penn DOT as they recommended. Then I was told my homeowners needed some car coverage from someone. Then I was told I could not keep my umbrella policy. All these NEEDS were removed when I refused to do that. With that I received a notice my umbrella policy would go up 50%! The increase to my homeowners, I'm not sure of the amount, but when way up. I requested information on options including rolling umbrella into homeowners (at their recommendation), but got no response. I requested information on options of different amounts of coverage, but no responses.
Bottom line is I have cancelled all my Farmers policies and saved more than 50%, even with higher coverage.
Please just shut everything down as once I decided to no longer keep auto insurance, they have become unresponsive, and it's seems vindictive?

Auto property damage
I was in an accident on April 29, 2023 and my claim has not been settled to date. I provided all the necessary information and after over a month, my auto claim has not been settled and no communication, in a while, regarding the status.
4/30/23 – Got text that claim was received
5/1/23 - Received text from Adjuster stating that she was going to call regarding claim
5/2/23 – Received call from Adjuster when she stated that claim would be processed by BI Adjuster
5/5/23 – Received call from BI Adjuster stating that he would call back on 5/8/23 to get information on claim.
5/12/23 I reached back out to initial adjuster because I did not receive a call back from BI Adj. Initial Adjuster stated that she would send a message to BI Adj.
5/12/23 - I contacted the BI adjuster via text, regarding the claim status. I was informed at that time that my vehicle was a total loss, he provided contact information for the total loss adjuster, and took details of the claim.
5/12/23 – sent text messages and left voicemails for Total Loss Adjuster
5/15/23 – Attempted calls and text to Total Loss Adjuster – no response
5/15/23 – Texted BI Adjuster to inform him to request supervisor’s information as still no response from Total Loss Adjuster. BI Adjuster stated that he did not have the information for Total Loss Adjuster's supervisor but would send her a message.
5/23/23 - Again contacted BI Adj regarding claim status as no response from Total Loss Adjuster . BI Adj informed me that he had sent messages and saw that Total Loss Adjuster had read the message. He stated that he will try to reach her again.
5/23/23 – Received text from Total Loss Adjuster stating that Lender was contacted on 5/5/23, payoff was provided on 5/18/23 and they informed her that Letter of Guarantee would be sent on 5/30/23 by 5 pm
5/23/23 – Called my Lender and was informed that they were contacted same day (5/23/23) and had already sent Letter of Guarantee via fax. Lender rep said they could email the letter if email address was provided. I then reached out Total Loss Adjuster via text and left several phone messages, informing her of same and requesting email address to provide to Lender. Still no response.
Today is June 5th and I have not heard back from anyone regarding the status of my claim. I am writing this letter with much frustration as I am without a job (I was using this vehicle to earn an income driving for Uber), a vehicle and still having to make payment on the totaled vehicle.
I strongly feel as if my claim is being handled with no type of urgency and professionalism. It is my hope that even though there is no communication, that at lease the Lender’s part of the claim is being handled. I would really appreciate a call back, as soon as possible, regarding the status of my claim.
Desired outcome: I would like the Lienholder to be paid so I can start the GAP process to get my auto loan paid off

To Anyone that can help us,
This claim has been going on for 6 months this week.
This picture was taken 3 months before your client hit our car. Our car was in great condition.
I have gotten online again to find a replacement and I can not find one that is Black and with the special edition front end and has not had 2 or 3 minor and /or major accidents, I found one for 25,000 but it had minor damages and had about 9000 more mileage on it than ours, the other one I found was 33,000. All the other one that I sent you pictures of are sold. Yesterday I was getting ready to turn right, I tapped on my brakes and used hand signals (like I have to now), the guy behind mealmost hit me. If I had not noticed that he was on my tail and then turned very fast, he would have hit me. I had my 5-year-old grandson in the car and it scared him very badly. Thank goodness the road I was turning on was clear. I cannot keep driving an unsafe car. This has gone on for almost 6 months and something bad is going to happen. I do not have the money to rent a car. I don't know what you expect me to do. I have to have a car. I take care of my 86 year old father who needs medicine and food 3 times a day and I have to go there at night. The money you have offered us will not replace my car. I have oil spots in my driveway now and I am getting different electronic messages that did notappear before the accident. If we keep the car and take that offer, then we will have a salvage title. We will never be made whole. This car should have been a solid investment
We have never had costumer service like this in our lives. We have called you so many times without response and had to call other people for you to return our call. When I sent you pictures and suggestions, 04/24/2023, no response. Anton Zemlock finally called us and that turned into a joke. He even told us (speaker phone) that if we did not take his offer, he would send the check to Texas unclaimed properties, We don't even live in Texas. You leave us no choice but to call the Better Business and the New Mexico Office of the Superintendent of Insurance. We are also sending this letter to Farmers Insurance Executive Officers. This 2005 XLR Special Editon is very rare, as all XLRs are becoming. There were only 15,000 total made from [protected]. In 2005 there were only 3730 made and 1161 being black. Our front end is very rare only being a few of those made with the double chrome grille.
Your client ran a red light and hit our car, if we have to retain a lawyer over this accident, you will be responsible for all cost and compensation for the lack of honest and untimely responsibility. If I am in an accident because of this, you will also be responsible. Anita and James Jackson
Desired outcome: My car replaced being you are the one who totaled it.
Getting a response
I really dislike having to send this message, but as a client of Farmer's Insurance for years, I write with total disappointment. I received information from our agent, Jeff Bayless ([protected]@farmersagent.com) . I had a question about the amount being charged. I emailed him twice and "NEVER" received a response. When I do, in past times, it was always that his computer was down. How many times does his computer go down and if so, shouldn't he get another one, especially if he is an agent to perhaps others? We are in deep need of an agent that is reliable and there to assist. The last time we waited three or more weeks to receive an answer on our bill being adjusted due to a death of a person on that policy! We need a new agent in our area to help us and be there for us! We are in Chatham, IL 62629 Our policy number is [protected]. After listening over and over again about the reliability of Farmer's Insurance, I feel this is not true. The adage goes..."One spoiled apple ruins the entire bussel." This may be the think here and we may have to look into another insurance agency who has reliable agents.
I truly hated to write this, but I think, if you read this note again, there is an urgency on this. I go to print our policy and tried for at least an hour and gave up. I was trying to get in touch with Jeff, but met with utterly no success.
I hope someone is there that can address this issue and not overlook it.
I thank you in advance for any checking you or "ANYONE" can do.
Respectfully,
Brother Ken PInc, OSF

Investigation of car accident
My son was hit by an impaired driver while driving my car. He had merged and was already in his lane going around 15-20 when the man came into his lane and hit my car on the side.
I called my insurance, expecting they would file the claim with the other insurance for me, but I had to do it myself. They never even spoke to my son who was actually driving, even though the other driver completely changed their version of the accident. Then they said it was my son's fault. The man's story that he gave the police officer did not match his damages. He spoke to my insurance and completely changed his version of events, yet there was still no investigation.
I explained to them that the police officer is adding a supplement, and he says to request a new copy and open records request his bodycam footage to see the man is lying. Still, there was no investigation. I sent them screenshots (admissible in court) of him being in the hospital for having his big toe removed and literally just getting out of the hospital after 1-day prior surgery, still no investigation.
They say they are protecting me because this man can sue, but for what? The first agent tells me the police report says my son was merging, so it's my son's fault, no pictures, nothing needed, and settles the claim with the other driver before the new police report, or bodycam or pictures are seen.
They gave me off to another agent who then says, "we don't go by police report and only photos and statements." They screwed me in either way because they never even investigated. Period!
I am looking to see about filing a lawsuit against Farmers for not doing their job and investigating the accident. They never even looked at my car, just his. How can you say an accident happened this way if you don't see damage to both vehicles? Two cars cannot be angled the same way, and the left car's nose hit the back of another vehicle. It is physically impossible. Then the agent says, "well, we can't prove he was impaired." When you leave the hospital, you sign a form saying you won't drive. This will be in records, and he posted it on Facebook. Both agents I got were not qualified to do any type of insurance adjuster job. I am getting a lawyer to sue the man and his insurance if my car isn't paid for because I can 100% prove in court he was impaired driving on anesthesia and opioids when he crashed. The adjusters' names are Matthew Smith and Lunie Mondeles.
I was told he seemed like a nice man. I don't care if he is Jesus; he lied, and literally, they just went with it against their own client.
Claim# [protected]
Desired outcome: To have my car payed for. To hire better adjusters and terminate the ones who arw nit duing there due dilligence and investigating.
Customers service for my iul policy
I have been dealing with Farmers customer service, with helping me to adjust my policy for a while. It has been 2 years of ongoing back and force with my agent and farmers customer support team, I felt like a ball that got kicked around and never got any help, I have been told to wait patiently always, and it has been too long, it felt as if they were dragging it to the point I will just give up. I hope it is not that case.
My last request since last year has really frustrated me. I have requested to lower face amount first and then to stop my monthly premiums. But I was only stopped premium without lower face amount. I know that by having the same face amount and the new premium, my policy will lapse soon. And that is not what I asked for.
I heard that this is in a way of company cheating me to lose my money, I clearly said to them lower face amount first and then lower the premium. Ever since they made such an adjustment, (only lower premium) I have tried to contact my agent and the company customer services serval times via email, phone call. I have gotten nowhere. My friend I need legal help, or someone who may concern.
I am upset and frustrated. I need help.
Sincerely,
Kitty Tsai
Desired outcome: I would like to Lower my Face Amount without waiting for months. Hope this will resolve in less than a month. Or did they actually committed a fraud? Because it was not based on my behave. Is this attorney worthy?
Life insurance
Life Insurance Policy #005449134U.
I have called [protected], which they were unable to help and told me to email '[protected]@farmersinsurance.com' I have written 3 emails to that address with no response. The only response each time is a auto generated email that they got my email.
I got this policy on 7/28/1995. It was setup to pay a set amount a month until I either I passed away or cashed it in. Within the last few months, I been getting bill to pay more, or my policy will be canceled. I made one payment of the additional amount waiting to see if it would go back to the agreed amount. Well, that wasn’t the case, I received another bill for the amount $125.00. This is not the policy that was sold to me. I was sold a policy that was a fee of $25 a month until I die or cash in the accumulate value. I have paid approximately $8525 over the years having the policy that I was explained to and now explain to you. This was an investment that seems to me Farmers is changing the rules on. I would think this is fraud on someone’s part. I am nicely asking a return on my investment of monies I have sent to Farmers or return to the original agreed amount. Misrepresentation from an agent of your company is not grounds for me to be cheated.
I hope we can settle this without deeper involvement of additional parties.
Desired outcome: Return my investment or return to the original policy that was told to me.
Agent behavior
Gary Vaughn out of Hillsboro Missouri has demonstrated questionable behavior.
Gary agreed almost two years ago to serve on his subdivision HOA board of trustees. However, in that two years he has refused to provide financial documents showing the subdivision status financially. When pressed on the issue, he informed homeowners that they needed to come into his Farmer's Agent office to review the documents. As a Farmer's agent is he even allowed to be in charge of our finances? Gary has been delinquent in filing our state non-profit status and 1120-H with the IRS.
Gary Vaughn refuses to schedule and have HOA meetings, provide financial documents, enforce covenants, respond to homeowner's emails, questions and concerns. When approached on these matters he becomes belligerent, defensive, and ugly.
Gary Vaughn is himself in violation of the subdivision own covenants. However, he refuses to correct his violations and operates in the 'do as I say, not as I do' mentality.
Gary does not treat homeowners as customers but as inferior humans.
He has been warned about his behavior in our online subdivision Facebook group/page. He is now limited, and his comments are reviewed prior to being allowed to be posted.
I realize his position as a HOA trustee is not Farmer's related. However, the fact that he is requiring homeowners to come into his office to view financial documents crosses the line. He is a representative of Farmers on and off the clock. I for one will never utilize Farmers based on my interactions with this agent.
Not receiving correct documentation and agent unreachable
My agents assistant has been providing me with the correct COI's with additional insured and endorsements with the correct verbiage for the past several years with a day notice. I need these quite frequently to show prospective clients to win the jobs.
I emailed 02/20/2023 asking for all the things as usual but I didn't receive an email back until 02/22/2023 stating it was submitted to underwriting for review. Janell was asking for information that was not necessary for her to waste my time on explaining to her that I took my workers com. policy somewhere else and she proceed to ask me why and where. I've never had to wait for underwriting on a policy I already have and receive the exact same information but with a different clients name and address. when I finally received the documents it was 02/23/2023 in the afternoon. I was hoping I didn't loss the job due to the delay on coverage proof and just forwarded the attachment.
Now today 03/08/2023 come to find out nothing was correct on COI and no endorsements as I requested. I can't email my agent Kym the owner to see if she can help me resolve this today NOW but my email are bouncing back and she said she'd fix that 9 months ago. How can she be my agent if I can't even send her an email?
Signal app
Just had my policies review with my agent, the first one since I stated using the Signal app. My insurance, home and auto, went up, not unexpected. I asked about my discount because I am using the Signal app. It was stated that this discount, like all the other so called discounts, was in the new premium. I asked for the amount I saved for using this app but he couldn't tell me. No detail of the discounts and the associated amount listed on the insurance renewal is deception and not good customer service.
Desired outcome: Detail of discount listed on the renewal policy
Cancelled policy and charges levied in payroll
I am unhappy with services on insurance cancellation
I am Janardhan Mankala I have taken policy bearing number : [protected] on 12/16/2022 12:01 AM ST and also cancelled on same day.
Agreed that I opted payroll deduction option but when I cancel the policy on same call and it should get cancelled with cancellation of Policy and mode of payment on same day. (regardless, to say this)
Ironically it didn’t happen and you deduct the amount of USD of 145.97 from Dec 30 2022 Pay check Again I see deduction from my pay check on 13Jan 2023 of USD145.97, I wondered and When I spoke to your executive they apologize for error and assured and sent it over as cheque [protected] for USD145.97 and they will return other paycheck too shortly.
So far, I haven’t received any cheque of second deduction made from my salary payroll. In spite of reminding your team on refund of amount deducted till date, they have made another deduction of USD 160.56 on 31st Jan 2023 in my second pay cheque of January23
I am really shocked to see this disparity and inefficient way of addressing the customers.
Before I proceed to take legal action on this mysterious deductions, I want my hard-earned money back of total amount of USD145.97+USD145.97+USD160.56= USD 452.5 before 5 working days from today 01Feb2023 In absence of refund I will be taking legal action against Farmers insurance. I will discard the cheque received for amount 145.07 [protected] without honoring to my bank or you can cancel it. I want complete refund in one cheque from Farmers insurance
I would like to see immediate action to resolve this at the earliest with new cheque or other mode of payment without further delay.
Again I am reiterating to stop payroll deduction immediately with effect from 01feb 2023 and no more delay in this.
Thanks and regards
Janardhan
