This company would only pay for the medical bills if we settled with them so they are for medical bills that piled up went unpaid credit shot no one has the extra money for health bills when they pay health coverage insurance every month but your health coverage won't cover it because it was an accident then they have the nerve to say that we should have contacted our own insurance company right so our premiums go up when it was your insured person messing around on her phone slammed into the back of my car that was stopped at a stoplight it's almost like it's blackmail we won't pay these medical bills even though we're supposed to unless you settle claim with us never buy Farmers Insurance I've never found a company that works the way they do blackmail all the way

Worse experience I've ever had with an insurance. I was looking to insurance 3 vehicles one is an older model that sometimes is hard to get a quote on but nothing like this. I went on Thursday knowing that I had till the following Wednesday to get another insurance or I would be stuck with the one I have to get a quote from farmers was told there was also a mercury agent and that he would be able to give me a quote the next day (Friday). Friday came I called because I didn't receive a call was told I would get a call back from Dana 2 hours later no call. I called again said she was busy she would call me for sure this time. And hour later she calls I couldn't get to the phone. I called back she is busy. Whoever kept on answering the phone couldn't give me the quote for mercury. Finally Andy from mercury calls me and gives me my quote I like the price but the older car needs a separate quote. He assures me that he would email me on Monday with the quote. Monday comes it's 6pm I call and he was never in the office. Anthony the broker from farmers seems to be able to get info because he told me that nothing had come in. That he would call me or email on tuesday by 11am. It's 1130 and I called because obviously their word doesn't mean anything. He says still nothing and he would call me back later. He calls around 5 and there is still no quote on the older vehicle. At 630 when I get off work and I called back because I wouldn't answer when he called me at 5 and there is no quote. He said that normally it can take from 2-3 days or up to a week. This couldn't have been said to me from the beginning. I told them from the beginning that I had till Wednesday to renew my quote and I wasted my whole time waiting on them to give me a quote that was normally going to take a week to get. Now I'm stuck with my old insurance because I don't have time to go tomorrow to get the insurance and if I don't cancel it it automatically renews itself. Totally disappointed.

The Sara Esline Farmers Insurance Company of Big Rapids issued an Insurance policy in my Name (Nicole Caminata) to my ex husband (Victor Caminata) during our separation. Victor did not pay the payment, I was sent the bill, which I refused to pay because I did not have any of the vehicles that were on that policy (I had my own insurance) the bill was sent to collections. I will not pay this. It is also unfair that it went to collections. Sara Esline and Victor Caminata attended high school together and remained friends.

Due to the incompetents of nerissa berry of oklahoma city, I can no longer afford to have farmers handle my insurance needs. They have messed up my mortgage not once, but twice! When they put me and my family in a position of losing my house, because of the mistakes they made I can no longer do business with someone and a company I don't trust.in the 4 years as my agent she never once returned my calls. I would wait 3 days after my initial call and then finally I would be forced to go by her office. Once at her office I was either instructed that she was on the phone or not in the office at all. Last year when nerissa and her office failed to enter my new policy into their system in a timely manner, I was left dealing with the fallout. Every time I did managed to get a meeting with her, she would always assure me that she would take care of the mistakes the office had made. Nerissa did not keep her word and has caused me to think twice about trusting insurance agents and people in general. I am a single mother with a special needs child and can not afford to incur the costs of her continued mistakes and mishandling of my policies.
non renewal of homeowners insurance
Recently we had a bad leak in our roof above our bathroom. We called our agent and Farmers sent an inspector out to look at the roof. Please note that this section of the roof had very little pitch. Its the only part of the roof with this kind of a pitch. In the past years it was added on to our house before we bought it. This being said, we had this section of the roof done and even a little more. The rest of the roof had no contributing factor in the low pitch section of the roof. It is in perfect condition and hasn't reached its life span. When the inspector was here and did his write up, there was no reference to the remainder of the roof being bad. He only refereed to low pitch section. As I previously mentioned, the remainder of the roof is in A-1 shape. Now without merit, they want us to replace the whole roof without determining or documentation that the rest of their roof is bad. they're not renewing our policy as of 08/19/2017. If this matter is not settled soon, I will make complaints to Better Business Berea to start. I will then take all other matters or what ever it takes.. Even documents from Farmers will be sent to appropriate agencies or persons that could help me with this matter . If need be the document will be made public I can send you pictures if need be. . These pictures will also be sent to appropriate agencies or persons and made public along with the insurance denial document. I hope we can come to a resolution in this matter.

I have been with farmers insurance for over a year and a half. I always pay my 6 months insurance in full when I renew. I am signed up for email notifications because I don't check my mail box often and in the past, you guys always sent me a notification for renewal. This year I haven't gotten any emails or letters in the mail until it came from the dmv that my insurance was cancelled! So I could be in jail right now (you don't know my personal situation). I called to get a new quote and now you guys want to charge me double because you failed to contact me prior to my renewal or cancellation. I just bought a new audi so I was going to let you insure both of my vehicles but you guys failed to do your job and you lost a loyal customer. Someone will be reimbursing me or paying the difference in my insurance. I have reached out to your district manager I alpharetta, georgia. It will be nice to resolve this without having to file complaints with the insurance commissioner. I also read some recent complaints and it's sad to see you guys doing this to multiple people. You are making us look like irresponsible citizens but I never had an issue paying you guys all of my money up front. To think you want to charge me $3, 000 for a 6-month insurance plan is ridiculous. I plan on educating the everyone that I need to. :) farmers insurance will hurt you in the long run. i just want you to be aware of the bad customer service that my agent is giving me, i had farmers for a number of years and all the time it has not been a fun expirience, he forget to renew my insurance all the time and im driving without knowing that i have no Insurance. i Email him and text him all the time to remind him about what he needs to do. im finally tired and looking for a new insurance company, i text him this morning to ask him about my ins. and he totally forgot and was giving me a higher price than what he told me acouple of days ago, wich it means that he forgot and here i am driving with no Ins. i understand that hes busy but you can tell that he dosnt care about my bussiness. so i will take my bussines elsewere. please help him become a better agent, this is not good for the company..
Same thing happened to me. Now they want to charge me double after I never received any notification about my insurance needing to be renewed. I am also signed up for email notifications and haven't gotten a single email in 2017. I knew my insurance was canceled when I got a letter from the DMV. We should look into a class action lawsuit. Its worth it since my insurance is now skyrocketed. I think my agent should pay the difference for me. I will be seeing them in court.

As a dealer, i have contacted farmers agent today 4/12 at [protected] in regards to verify if policy is currently active for one of my in-house customers as farmers lien portal was giving me an error code.

ugh after i introduced my self, once i provided policy # and name on policy he said " ugh hold on" so he quickly gets back on the line and says " yes shes good " i said " okay, great and just to make sure, we are good till 4/28 correct?
then he said in a very ugly threatening aggravated voice " listen to me, and listen to me carefully, dont ###en call my office each ###en month to ask if her policy is good, we are not a month to month ###en agency" so i said sir im going to report you and he said: go rite a ###en head, this is my ###en business"

My damages from an accident are close to $30, 000, but they sent me only $1, 716.50 which were peanuts just to get rid of me.
They have the most dishonest and double dealing insurance agents you would ever imagine. Dirty and filthy rachel toscano is one of them along with thomas norman. The two of them are filing claims and are not honoring the customers value.
Instead of honoring and paying out their customers insurance claims, they are pocketing the money and getting away with it.
The entire company are a distribution of crooks and are not to be trusted.

On March 28, 2017 I was involved in a car collision but I have not received any solution yet. I contacted my agent at noon and did not get a reply until next day instructing me to call a claim center number. I was expecting him to move on my behalf and not just have me call another number.
Two days ago I was talking to Agent Ana Hinton of Farmers Insurance who told me to send the pictures that I took of the collision. But nobody has replied to follow up on that email yet. I don't even know what direction to take after sending those pictures. Didn't even get a reply telling me they received that email, were reviewing the pictures, etc. Nothing.
Apparently there were two claim numbers under the same policy and one of them was closed without informing me. I found out until I called the Farmers Customer Line [protected]). Otherwise nobody would have told me.
Another agent named Dominique or Don contacted me [protected], can't tell his name clearly on the recorded message). Missed his call as I was working but I called back immediately through out the day and even left him 3 messages. He was rude making me feel I was guilty without even looking through my case. Did not tell me when an adjuster would come to see my car, didn't ask for any pictures to look into my case and help, and didn't even tell me what would be the next step to take. I've always had great service til now. My car was in the shop for 12 days and not drive able until the day I picked it up. My adjuster Angel Eakers and her boss Doug have gone back and forth on this claim so many times it's ridiculous! My coverage says I get 25.00 a day for rental coverage...I'm in a small town so there are no rental cars so I've been on foot for 12 days! I have been with Farmer's Insurance for more than a decade, first with my husband when we purchased our first home and after he passed, I continued with Farmer's as a widow. I currently retired and my home & auto are both insured by Farmer's, my agent is Kelly J. Applewhite, (928)
758-7961, 1285 Hancock Rd., Bullhead City, AZ 86442. My auto policy #[protected] & my home policy #[protected]. As you will see I have always paid on time and have no claims. I recently changed to auto-pay, with the monty debit out of my checking account for both policies, for witch my local Farmer's Agency, added $100 fee, in addition to the $2.00 per month fee for each policy, despite both fees taken out on the same day each month. I have called several times to get an explanation on the reason for this, and was told my agent, Kelly is not available, and the answers I received from two clerks that work at the office were different from each other. I made two efforts to come into the office to talk to my agent Kelly Applewhite, and was told she is out and unavailable. I made a specific appointment last week for 1pm today, 2/6, to talk with Kelly about the issues I have, with these charges. I received a call this morning, that Kelly was not going to be available today to see me. I am tired of the responses to my questions and the unreliability of this office, when I have always been a good & loyal customer.
This is bad customer service and I am now, having to search for other alternatives to my insurance needs. I am 66 year-old widow, and very disillusioned by the treatment I have received by your representative, Agent Kelly J. Applewhite, of Farmer's Insurance.

In February of this year I got a divorce. My ex husband and I had 2 houses and several vehicles with Farmers. We asked our agent to split up the policies so we each had our own. I think the attempt was made. However, my ex husbands vehicles and name kept ending up on my policy. In May and June I went through several emails and phone calls with our agent to try and clear this up. At one point he said it was fine and that because of my ex husbands motorcycle he had to use my policy until the insurance changed. This was alarming to me and I started to watch things a bit closer and started to shop for new insurance. In July, he emailed me and said he had the policies all fixed. I received a letter on confirmation and 2 days later I received another letter added my ex-husband back onto my policies. I made the switch to All State and notified the agent of the change. He said I needed to write him a letter and mail it. I have sent 2 letters which he claims he has not received. I talked to him last week and he says that he has still not received any mail for me I asked to meet with him and he said he just didn't have time. In the mean time, my ex husband is now receiving my mail and forwarding the bills for my vehicles which are no longer with Farmer's Insurance
quality issues on vehicle repair

I took my vehicle in for hail damage repair and everything looked good except for the interior of the vehicle was left unfinished. They failed to install both visors and the central part where you store the sunglasses. I later realized the handle bar in the back seat was not attached properly. So, I have been waiting for John Vandepas (service collision manager) for his call ever since. I contacted the Farmers coordinator Daniel Hensley [protected]) and he stated he would either call me or have John contact me soon. That was over a week ago. All I need is for the visor and handle in the back to be reattached.
This guy is having to go through some unnecessary work that should have been handled the first time. This is a big hassle and Farmers will sometimes go back and tell the body shop to cut corners this is my experience. Farmers Insurance is staring to SUCK!
roadside service
While traveling I had a flat tire on evening of Feb. 27. I called the farmers roadside number and was given a arrival time for changing my tire of approximately 1.5 hours. After several calls the tow truck arrived 3.5 hours late and watched us, he also helped from time to time, change the tire. He did not have tools so he used my tools. Had I been on a busy interstate highway who knows what might have happened. Very disappointed in this service and in Farmers for hiring these people and for the length of time required to simply change a tire.
your insurance only pays the claim..you could have called your own tow truck. farmers does not hire these companies, they are on a list to call if they are the nearest. again, just like your health insurance, it only pays the claim..if you are not happy with the provider than get one you are happy with

I was lied to from the beginning. An agent named Ralph Brewster from Odessa, TX signed us up for our home and told my wife that we were getting a multi policy discount. He encouraged her to hurry and put the cars on that policy. So I dropped Geico which was giving me a deal of $63 a month for two vehicles. So we paid a new policy fee of $130 and were charged twice some $25 fee. Now I'm paying $90 a month. Then the policies were never joined together. At this point, I've paid two separate new policy fees totaling $300+. Now four months later I'm supposively on an automatic bill pay which never takes the money out. I get online to make the payment and they have it set up saying that are account is not set up for payments online and have to see if it qualifies. I call the customer service number they refer me to and the representative can't even help. Long story short I finally see what they have for my automatic bill pay... they put my email address as my routing number. WHAT A JOKE... NEVER USE FARMERS...

I have been with Farmer's for several years and have always been satisfied with the service, until now. I own a 2001 Buick LeSabre and dropped to PL&PD a few years ago.I also have my Renter's Insurance too. I moved about a month ago to a much smaller house and my Insurance rates have jumped to $181.00 per month. Unfortunately for Farmers, I will be going on-line and finding a cheaper insurance! If none is available, I will drop my car and switch to another renters insurance.If I was paying Full Coverage for that amount it would be a different story. But, I will not pay that for next to nothing in insurance coverage.

Refuse to pay for windshield
We were driving home when a semi that was in front of us blew a rock in the passanger side of the vehicle. It cracked the window and gave it the spider crack. We called framers insurance company and we have a comprehensive insurance with a deductible. The arizona law 20 264 they are breaking and trying to make us pay. It seems to me that all they want it our money for our personal vehicle and our commercial business as well. How many other clients are they taking to the cleaners and not one will fight them. I will fight them all the way and i don't give up until i win.
