This is the first tree I have ordered online
This is the first tree I have ordered online. When the tree came the box was crushed and the tree itself did not look good. I took pictures and sent them. I was contacted the following day and told I would receive a new tree. The response was immediate with no issues. The new tree was delivered in a few days and looked much healthier. Accidents happen and the customer service I received was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this company.
Evergreen trees and Chinese pistache were all in pots and all in good shape-especially the drought-tolerant evergreens
Evergreen trees and Chinese pistache were all in pots and all in good shape-especially the drought-tolerant evergreens. However, the most expensive tree I bought, the oversized Honey Locust tree (which by the way i paid an extra $7.00 oversized handling fee for) was just the root ball-no burlap, no pot. So I had to find a pot and it wasn't the right size and it fell over when the wind blew 10 miles an hour. Not the packaging I expected on the most expensive tree I bought! Glad I bought insurance!
Bought a tree from them last year. Planted it started to grow last year, this year Plant is dead. Called and asked about either a refund or a new plant and I was told because I did not purchase a warranty on the plant they couldn't do anything and my 30 days had passed so I hope they enjoy the $144. My *** was well learned. I'll buy locally from now on. Advice don't buy from them...
Wow, what a ridiculous service. Everything I ordered was smaller than advertised and not in good health. The strawberry plants were shipped sideways compared to other plants and all the dirt fell out of the pots. They are definitely ripping people off with the quality and size of these products. Regret order!
I received my peach tree last year and it did not thrive. When I called to inquire, the company informed me that this is normal and often takes a year for a tree to settle into the new environment. One year later and no leaves have sprouted. I waited and waited and still nothing has grow. When I called to ask for a replacement, I was informed that I waited to long to call. I wasnt asking for a refund, just a new tree that would grow and not die after a year. I ordered an apple tree from them at the same time and it is growing well.
Ordered 3 trees over memorial day weekend, with the offer of a free tree. My order arrived with only 3 trees (all damaged) without the free tree. I called them, to which they said they were out of stock of one my treesand of course the free tree. (Offer was a lie) I was issued a refund and was sent the two other trees, one of which came with a very bent, unstraight trunk, and not the size which I ordered. The other had the dirt out of the pot, the roots exposed, and the tree seemingly in bad condition. I would recommend never ordering trees from this business.
You guys are great!
You guys are great! I ordered a meyer lemon tree which is in perfect condition. At first I thought It was plastic. That's just how perfect it is. I recently ordered the 32oz. bottle neem oil for protection for the tree. When the bottle arrived the box was wet and the bottle empty. I called after Thanksgiving and the lady that took my call was so nice and polite. She apologized and sent out another bottle. I did get it and it was in perfect condition. Thank you very much. Fast service. I will shop here again
Like others here I ordered a condo avocado tree in January and it said it wouldnt ship until April. Made sense because its a plant and needs certain seasons to grow. I get my confirmation for the purchase. I then get an email asking how I like my product that hasnt shipped yet. And then I get NOTHING except for ads and spam emails. I have been eagerly awaiting my tree and I check the status: Expected Shipping date is 4/13/22. That day came and went. On 4/16 I send an email asking about the order and the response was that they didnt see an order under my email. That customer service response came like minutes after I sent my question. Then nothing. For two days. So I kept emailing back with my order number and then a screenshot of my order with the expected ship date asking if they lost my order. They never answered that question. So I asked again and also said if they lost my order just cancel it and refund me because it was on back order. I already had to wait 3 months I wasnt about to wait another few more months for their mistake! So they gave me a refund and never explicitly admitted to losing my order. But I think we can all agree THEY LOST MY ORDER. So, yes, their customer and order management is garbage. I question if this is even a legit company.
Kept sending me dead trees. When I called, they told me to nurse it a while. When I called back 2 weeks later, I was told it could no longer be exchanged. Total BS. Then they offered to sell me a warranty which would allow for the exchange. It was half the cost of the tree! Why would I pay for a warranty on a dead tree?!
I bought a plant from them for $109.99 that was advertised as a more mature, healthy plant. I looked at the reviews and the plant looked great. When I received it, it was small, wimpy, wilted, and the leaves were cracked and damaged. When I reached out to customer service, the representative was incredibly unprofessional and rude. They simply stated, 'We are a nursery, we sell young plants,' as if the website didn't make false claims about what I'd be getting. They also delete negative reviews which shows they are a dishonest company. There are plenty of better online nurseries out there, please do your research and don't make the same mistake I did.

I ordered 100 trees to plant in my yard for privacy
I ordered 100 trees to plant in my yard for privacy. I bought 60 Green Giants and 40 Cypress! The trees were delivered to my home within 2-3 days. They arrived healthy and were packed very well. The price was reasonable. I spent approximately $1,700 for all 100 trees! I bought them 1-2 feet tall. Only 2 trees were defective, the leaves were all broken on them. I attempted to fix them and hope they will mend as they grow. I also bought 2 fire orange bushes. Overall I'm very happy and look forward to watching my new trees grow.
Paid 69$ for a Lemon Tree in a one gallon container. Shocking small for the price. The container is 6 inches high and about 6 inches across- not even close to what a reasonable person would consider one gallon. The Lemon Tree itself is about 6 inches tall. In good shape. Spoke to customer service-sent pics as requested. No reply. Needed to call back. Unable to refund and told not to send back. Gave me 20$ off. Would not use this company again. I would suggest the company display pics of what is actually being sent, not what a mature Lemon Tree looks like.
I purchased two trees in the fall when they are dormant. I expected them to *** this spring however they are dead. I purchased with the impression they were guaranteed for one year which made sense as they werent going to bloom for six months. Upon contacting the merchant I was told they had a 30 day warranty. This is absolutely senseless and I feel completely ripped off for $170. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Its just another scam
Ordered tree that was promised to be sent in one month (4/6/22). After repeated attempts to get calls through I spoke with representative who was unclear to me when I would get the tree. 2023 was even mentioned. I was told that I called in before, when I had not. Bottom line it was unclear to me when or if I would ever get this tree. I cancelled the order and the refund information I was sent does not totally credit me for the purchase. Something does not seem legitimate about this company.
I purchased a Red Haven Peach Tree in 2021. The tree arrived in a box with barely moist sawdust, no roots really to speak of and was barely what I would consider to be alive. I spent, $200 which included $50 shipping. The tree didn't survive the summer despite having done everything I needed to do. FGT offered to allow me to spend more money on an "extended warranty" and refused any other forms of resolution. This company does not deliver on its promises and the product is overpriced especially when you consider that they make a profit on shipping.
If you are looking to buy trees or plants, I highly recommend Fast Growing Trees
If you are looking to buy trees or plants, I highly recommend Fast Growing Trees. They are honest, dedicated, and professional individuals. Their business is highly reputable. They support their products and make customer-focused decisions, even when the issue is not their fault. It is rare to find a business that prioritizes customer satisfaction like Fast Growing Trees does. It is reassuring to know that businesses like Fast Growing Trees still exist in the United States. Thank you, Fast Growing Trees, for your excellent work.
Ordered azalea plants for my mom and dad as their birthday presents
Ordered azalea plants for my mom and dad as their birthday presents. When they received them, they weren't properly tagged, so my parents did not know where to plant which azalea as their garden is coordinated according to color schemes. I contacted Fast Growing Trees and they apologized. They then immediately shipped another set of azaleas at no additional cost, assuring all were properly tagged. I know no person or company is perfect. I appreciate their prompt resolution and putting clients first, ahead of profits. BRAVO to Jackie and Bob at Fast Growing Trees!
I have purchased 17 trees over the past 9 years
I have purchased 17 trees over the past 9 years. My row of 1-2 ft. Giant Thujas (purchased 2011) have soared and to my surprise look just like the picture advertised. I have lost 2 only due to flooding. I have lost 4 other trees because of planting in the wrong area. Snowball bush (purchased 2011) is huge. Eastern Pine (XXXX) has grown 1.5 ft in less than 1 year. Just purchased a Dura Heat River birch to replace the 2 Thujas - this tree should do well in the 1 spot that receives heavy water. All tree are shipped in a pot - no bare root which is so stressful on the plant.
We have periodically purchased products (shrubs, bushes, small trees, etc
We have periodically purchased products (shrubs, bushes, small trees, etc.) from FGT for many years and have been pleased with 90% of them. A few years ago, we ordered several lavender plantings and none of them survived. I wrote a negative review and was contacted by FGT who offered to replace them. This year (in late May) we ordered 6 dwarf crepe myrtles. They appeared smaller than expected but we followed the instructions and planted them. They have adapted well and all of them are showing buds. I expect to see blooms real soon. I would consider buying from FGT again in the future.
I ordered a Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow bush
I ordered a Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow bush. It arrived in beautiful shape, carefully packaged and even had an open bloom and more getting ready to open up. I was so excited to have this little guy! However, temperatures here plunged below zero two nights after it arrived and, though I covered it, it froze and looks totally dead. There's no room in my cottage to bring it inside but I think that's beside the point now. I'll definitely order from Fast Growing Trees again and have recommended them to friends. Next time I'll choose a plant that resists deer AND tolerates freezing temps.

Order went through smoothly, but there was a lag in communication with regard to shipment, and it took longer than anticipated to receive a shipping confirmation. Two trees were packed in one box, which made me think we'd only received two of the three trees we ordered, so I called customer service immediately. They were very responsive, and told me they often package two trees in one box. This would have been helpful information that should have been communicated via email prior to delivery. Received the three trees I ordered, though they appeared smaller than I expected. The trees seem to be in good health, although time will tell if they flourish. The "free" raspberry plant was dead upon arrival.
I've bought a couple trees from them
I've bought a couple trees from them. This time was a bigger order than last, but all but one tree is flourishing and I do think part of the reason one tree that isn't happy is that a branch was broken in the shipping process and it experienced too much shock because of that. Fast growing trees have me support on what I needed to do to help the tree and save it and said if it dies they will send me a new one. But the two bushes and two other trees from them are doing great. The Ann Magnolia that was dedicated to my stillborn daughter is doing so well and I see new growth on it all the time. The weeping willow looks great, small but great and the american berry bushes are growing and their berries are changing to the pretty purple colors I wanted. I had lavender that was doing well until a fungus or bug in my yard took it out, but that was me and my gardening skill not the product. I've been satisfied with my orders and would order from them again
This is my second Chinese Pistache tree from FGT
This is my second Chinese Pistache tree from FGT. It arrived promptly, well packaged and healthy. The tree was covered with leaves and since planting they have begun to color in a beautiful shade of red. A couple of leaves turned completely and I'm excited about seeing all the leaves this color. This is a young tree which will get southwest sun this winter; therefore, I will wrap the tree trunk to prevent bark splitting in hopes of keeping the tree healthy and preventing any weather or sun damage. The Chinese Pistache I planted in the spring has grown taller and appears to have a different leaf color which may be due to the location as well as sun exposure. It recently had some bark splitting which was probably due to its growth spurt and FGT promptly advised me how to take care of this issue. I look forward to watching these two trees grow and mature into shade trees with beautiful fall color. I would not hesitate to purchase from FGT again. FGT also honored the warranty on a tree I purchased last fall which had to be replaced; therefore, I recommend purchasing the warranty.
I have ordered trees, shrubs, and plants from many online companies over the years
I have ordered trees, shrubs, and plants from many online companies over the years. Recently, I discovered the Fast-Growing-Trees website, and it was so well organized and easy to navigate that I couldn't resist ordering a larger sized fruit tree that I had always wanted. I expected the usual disappointment of the delivered product not matching the website picture, but to my surprise, the tree I received was even better than I had anticipated! Since that first order, I have ordered many more items from FGT, and each one has exceeded my expectations. This is an excellent company that offers high-quality live trees and shrubs that are not easily found at local nurseries or big box stores. They have a wide selection of unique plants and trees. Browsing their website is a delightful experience, as they offer options in both small and large sizes. Additionally, they ensure that you receive exactly what is described when you make a purchase. They provide great email notifications throughout the delivery process. They even tailor your searches to your Growing Zone and offer recommendations for pollinators to maximize the fruit production of your trees. I am thrilled to have found them and look forward to conducting more business with them in the future. Thank you. Dr *** Summerville, SC
Impressive Trees and Great Customer Service from FastGrowingTrees.com
I gotta say, I'm pretty darn impressed with the product I received from FastGrowingTrees.com. I ordered some olive trees and fuzzy kiwi, and let me tell you, these babies were full of green, healthy leaves. The kiwi vines were already starting to climb up their stick, and after planting them, they're almost as tall as my waist! And the methley plum tree? Well, it came dormant with its roots wrapped up in burlap material, but after following the instructions and planting it, it's already sprouting leaves and even has three flowers on it!
I'm so pleased with how everything is doing that I'm actually a little bummed that the mulberry tree was sold out. I would've loved to add that to my collection. But hey, can't have it all, right?
Now, I did run into a bit of a snag when I tried to use a coupon code I found on a website. It didn't work, and I was a little frustrated. But I called up customer service and the guy who answered was super helpful. He explained that the code was actually being used by someone else, but he gave me a different code to use as a first-time customer. It was a little annoying, but I appreciated his kindness and patience.
All in all, I'm really happy with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. The products are top-notch and the customer service is great. I'll definitely be ordering from them again in the future!
Excellent Quality and Customer Service from FastGrowingTrees.com
I recently ordered some plants from FastGrowingTrees.com and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the plants I received. They all looked healthy and well taken care of. However, a couple of them did experience some transplant shock, but I think that was due to the weather and other factors beyond the control of the company.
One of the trees I received was a Peanut Butter Fruit tree, which initially looked great but then seemed to be struggling after being planted. I decided to leave a mediocre review about it, just to express my disappointment. But to my surprise, the support team at FastGrowingTrees.com reached out to me right away. They asked for pictures and details about the tree, and after reviewing the information I provided, they gave me some recommendations to help it perk up. And I must say, the tree is already looking much better!
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. The quality of their plants is top-notch, and their customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality plants at a reasonable price.
FastGrowingTrees.com Review: Beautiful Tree, Great Quality, and Excellent Customer Service
I recently purchased a tree from FastGrowingTrees.com and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the tree upon arrival. I mean, who knows if there's really such a thing as a "perfect" tree, but this one came pretty darn close! It was in great condition and looked like it was ready to be planted right away.
Now, I'll admit, I made a bit of a mistake and didn't order the "root rocket" with the tree. I know, I know, what was I thinking? But, we were able to plant it within 4 days of delivery and I'm hoping for the best in the coming years.
Living in northern Michigan, I'm a big fan of the fall colors and unfortunately, we lost two shade trees this year (not maples). So, we're on the hunt for some replacements and I thought I'd give FastGrowingTrees.com a try.
Upon delivery, I did notice a few black spots and holes in some of the leaves, so I sent some pictures to the folks at FastGrowingTrees.com to make sure everything was okay. They assured me that it was healthy and ready to be planted. And, after planting it, the few leaves that had spots fell off and the rest of the tree has been absolutely beautiful this fall. The leaves have turned a gorgeous, healthy red and I've been watering it nearly every day (if we don't get any rain) to make sure the roots are getting enough moisture.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for some new trees.
FastGrowingTrees.com Review: High-Quality Plants That Grow Like Crazy!
I gotta say, I'm a big fan of FastGrowingTrees.com. I mean, why bother with the same old boring plants you can get at any old nursery when you can shop with these guys and get something truly special? Every plant I've ordered from them has been top-notch quality, and I've been blown away by how fast they grow.
Take our Crepe Myrtle tree, for example. We got it last year, and it's already grown so much! The color is just exceptional, too - exactly what we were hoping for. And you know what? I think it's all thanks to the Root Rocket fertilizer we've been using. That stuff is like magic - every plant we add it to just takes off like crazy.
Now, I will say that we did have a little mix-up with one of our orders. We got a different kind of plant than what we had ordered. But you know what? The customer service rep we talked to was super nice about it. They apologized for the mistake and told us they'd send us the correct plant right away. And get this - they even told us to keep the one they accidentally sent us and give it to someone else as a gift! How cool is that?
So yeah, I would definitely recommend FastGrowingTrees.com to anyone looking for high-quality plants that grow like crazy. And hey, if you do happen to get a mix-up with your order, don't worry - these guys will take care of you.
Impressive Service and Selection: My Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com
I recently purchased a 7 foot pear tree and Hollywood Hibiscus from FastGrowingTrees.com and I must say, I am impressed with their service. Shipping trees is no easy feat, and any issues that arise during the shipping process can be detrimental to the plant's health. However, Fast Growing Trees handled everything with ease and their customer service was top-notch.
The packaging was done well and the trees arrived in great condition. However, after a few weeks, my 7 foot tree started showing signs of fire blight and was in bad shape. I immediately contacted Fast Growing Trees and they responded quickly, offering to ship me a replacement 6 footer. I was surprised to find that the 7 footer actually survived with aggressive liquid copper treatment after 6-7 weeks. I planted the second tree nearby for cross pollination and I am hopeful that both trees will thrive.
I must say, the customer service at Fast Growing Trees is fantastic. They responded to my concerns in a timely manner and resolved any issues immediately. The variety of plants they offer is also impressive. I highly recommend their service to my colleagues at work.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. They have a great selection of plants and their customer service is top-notch. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.
Satisfied with FastGrowingTrees.com: Great Customer Service and Quality Plants
I gotta say, I've had a pretty good experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. I've placed a few orders with them now and overall, I'm pretty satisfied. Sure, one of my plants arrived damaged, but I can't say for sure if it was their fault or not. Regardless, they replaced it right away, no questions asked. And all of the other plants I've received have been alive and well-packed.
Now, I will say that they're not exactly cheap. If I can find what I'm looking for locally, I'll usually go that route. But when it comes to more exotic plants, these guys are my go-to.
My only real complaint is that some of the plants I ordered that were sold by volume (like 2 gallons) instead of length (like 3-4 feet) seemed a bit small for their pots. I ordered 17 azaleas and about 10 of them had root structures that filled less than half of the container.
But hey, when I had an issue with a botched pack job/delivery, I just emailed them a photo and they took care of it. I'm not sure if it was their fault or FedEx's, but they didn't give me any BS and just replaced the plant. I did spend a few thousand bucks with them this year, so maybe that helped things along. But either way, I appreciate that they stand behind their product.
Disappointing Experience with Fast Growing Trees: Poor Condition and Lack of Customer Service
I was really excited to receive my trees from Fast Growing Trees, but unfortunately, they arrived in a terrible state. The leaves were all curled up, burned, and some had even fallen off. I was really disappointed and frustrated, so I decided to reach out to the company to see what could be done.
I tried calling, emailing, and messaging them, but it took a while for me to get a response. When I finally did hear back from them, they told me that this was normal and that I should wait for three weeks to see if the trees would rebound. I was really skeptical about this, but I decided to give it a try.
Unfortunately, after three weeks, the trees still looked terrible. I was really upset that I had spent $300 on two sticks that were supposed to be healthy trees. I reached out to Fast Growing Trees again, but they told me that because the sticks were still green, they couldn't give me a refund.
I was really disappointed with my experience with Fast Growing Trees. I feel like they should have been more upfront about the condition of the trees when they shipped them to me. If they couldn't guarantee that the trees would arrive in good condition, they shouldn't have promised that they could.
Overall, I would caution anyone who is thinking about buying trees from Fast Growing Trees. While they may have some good products, my experience was really negative and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.
Fast Growing Trees Complaints 42
I ordered four hybrid Willow Trees measuring 3-4 ft on April 22, 2020, for a total of $254.19
I ordered four hybrid Willow Trees measuring 3-4 ft on April 22, 2020, for a total of $254.19. However, when I received the order, I was disappointed to find that I had received four "sticks/saplings" instead of the trees I had expected based on the advertisement on the Fast Growing Trees website. On May 5, I attempted to contact Fast Growing Trees (FGT) to request a refund but was unable to leave a voicemail. I was directed to email Andrew B at the provided email address, which I did on May 7, 2020. In my email, I expressed my disappointment with the product and explained that I had expected to receive fully grown trees, not saplings. I mentioned that I had wanted to use FGT for years and was disappointed with the size of the plants I received. I also mentioned that I wanted a refund as soon as possible so that I could purchase from my local nursery. I explained that my family had been affected by Covid and that I needed the refund urgently. I stated that if I did not receive a timely response, I would file a complaint with ComplaintsBoard.com. On May 9, 2020, I received an email from Andrew B of FGT. He apologized for my disappointment and explained that the plants were sold based on container size rather than height. He mentioned that they could not guarantee a specific height for the plants but assured me that they would have reached proper maturity for the container size. He explained that plants grow at different rates and some may be taller than others. He acknowledged receiving the photos I had sent and advised me to properly care for the trees for them to grow beautifully. He offered further assistance but did not mention a refund. On May 11, 2020, I replied to Andrew, stating that his response did not address my concerns. I reiterated my request for a full refund due to false advertising. I pointed out that the website advertised different sizes, including 3-4 feet, 5-6 feet, and 6-7 feet, and the trees I received did not match these descriptions. I requested a prepaid shipping label to return the trees. On May 12, 2020, Andrew responded, apologizing for the inconvenience and acknowledging that FGT guarantees trees to be 3-4 feet. He explained that he had misunderstood my initial complaint. On May 14, 2020, I replied again, reiterating my request for a full refund and a prepaid shipping label, in accordance with the 30-day satisfaction guarantee. I stated that this would be my final email and that I would contact ComplaintsBoard.com if I did not receive a satisfactory resolution. I provided my contact information. Later that day, I received an email from FGT stating that they had not heard from me for several days and that my ticket was still waiting to be processed. They provided a link for me to follow to initiate a return ticket. However, the link provided did not work. FGT sent several responses stating that my password had been changed and that I should continue to click on the website to provide the necessary information for processing my ticket. I reiterated my request for a refund and a prepaid shipping label, and I expressed my frustration with the situation. I stated that I would not continue to engage with FGT and that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. I criticized FGT for falsely advertising their trees and delivering small saplings. I also mentioned that I would not pay for return shipping. I concluded by stating that it was unethical, misleading, and corrupt for FGT to advertise a 30-day money-back guarantee and not honor it. I signed the review as *** and ***.
Selling plants online is a questionable practice. But they offer 30 days refund policy. We were told by *** at customer service that smaller plants need more time to invigorate. For that reason we have purchased 12 months insurance with the 9 evergreen trees we bought. Eight out of nine plants slowly died within the first several weeks and now they offer a one time exchange. It is not hard to figure it out what will happen next if we follow through with the exchange. The ratio of healthy plants : dead plants is overwhelmingly conclusive not to realize that this exchange wont be much different. We were skeptical buying plants online, but the one-year warranty was reassuring. It turns out it is wasted money. Maybe there are other companies that sale thriving plants and customers that have excellent experiences purchasing plants online. Unfortunately, this kind of ruins it for both. We will definitely not be purchasing plants online again.
I ordered a 7 to 8 ft weeping willow back in June 2022, we had a bad drought and I was ready to receive my tree at the beginning of November. When I inquired, they informed me that my tree had apparently been sold to someone else. They issued a refund, but offered me a smaller 4 to 5 foot one instead. I decided to take a chance and accepted it. However, the tree arrived with its limbs pruned to fit in the box, making it look very tiny. I am not satisfied and would like a refund. Considering it's the middle of winter now, it was irresponsible of them to have sold my original tree in the first place.
I had made a purchase of a tree on the 16th of November and it can in on the 18th, the tree was missing its whole other half of branches, so I called customer service and let them know and they sent me another one but this one was worse, the one they sent me was missing a whole bunch of branches, not even a half, it was all around missing branches. Horrible business.
Terrible Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com - Unreliable Customer Service and Delivery
I had a really bad experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. I ordered a Dakota Pinnacle Birch tree for my property and requested a specific delivery date, which was the birthday of my son who served in the Air Force for 8 years and passed away. I ordered the tree 2 months in advance and the status was confirmed 1.5 weeks before delivery. However, the day before the delivery, I was informed that it was not going to happen. I was devastated and felt terrible.
The customer service was unreliable and unprofessional. I don't know about the quality of their products, but I would never order from them again. It's really disappointing when a company doesn't care about their customers and their needs. I would not recommend FastGrowingTrees.com to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com: Only 1 Tree Had Roots and No Warranty
I recently purchased 5 peach trees from FastGrowingTrees.com, and I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with my experience so far. Out of the 5 trees I received, only 1 had roots, which was a bit concerning. However, I decided to go ahead and plant the small root stumps the very next day I got them. It's only been about 2 weeks since I planted them, but unfortunately, most of the branch ends are already dark brown. I'm not feeling very optimistic about these trees growing and thriving.
To make matters worse, I failed to look up the warranty before I made my purchase. When I finally did, I was surprised to find out that they don't really have a warranty. This was definitely a letdown, as I was hoping to have some sort of guarantee in case something went wrong.
I know it may be too early to write a review, but the company requested it, so here I am. I really hope I haven't made a $650 mistake by purchasing these trees. Only time will tell if they will grow and flourish, but as of right now, I'm not feeling very confident.

Disappointing Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com: My Tree Arrived in Poor Condition and is Struggling to Survive
I was so excited to receive my tree from FastGrowingTrees.com. I waited eagerly for it to arrive and when it did, I was pleased to see that it was well packaged and arrived on time. However, when I opened the box, I was disappointed to see that my little tree had been trimmed quite a bit to fit in the box and during transit, it had lost all of its leaves on one side. I was devastated to see my new baby tree in such a state.
I followed the instructions provided by FastGrowingTrees.com and planted my tree as soon as possible. I watered it regularly and hoped for the best. However, after two weeks, my tree had dropped almost all of its leaves. I was worried that it might not survive and that I had wasted my money. I can only hope that the side that was overly pruned will grow back and that my tree will recover.
At this moment, I am not impressed with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. I spent $200 on a tree that arrived in poor condition and is now struggling to survive. I understand that trees need to be trimmed for shipping, but I was not expecting my tree to be so bare on one side. I hope that in the future, FastGrowingTrees.com will take more care in shipping their trees and ensure that they arrive in better condition.
Disappointing Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com's Citrus Plant Collection: Delayed Delivery and Damaged Plants
I recently made a purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com for their Citrus Plant Collection. The order was processed quickly and the plants were shipped out promptly. However, when the package arrived at the FedEx MA Center, it seemed to have hit a snag. The delivery was delayed for an additional 10 days, which was quite frustrating.
When the package finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that the plants were dry and appeared to have been damaged by frost. I attempted to contact FedEx during the delay, but my efforts were fruitless. I also reached out to the grower's customer service team, but unfortunately, they were unable to take any action to rectify the situation.
I was left with severely damaged plants and a loss of $160. It was a frustrating experience, and I would advise other buyers to be cautious when purchasing from FastGrowingTrees.com.
The customer service agent I spoke with was polite, but ultimately unhelpful. They suggested that I wait and see if the plants would recover, but I was skeptical. Additionally, when I asked if they could use a different shipping company besides FedEx, they informed me that this was not possible.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. While the initial ordering process was smooth, the delay in delivery and subsequent damage to the plants left me feeling frustrated and out of pocket. I would advise other buyers to proceed with caution and consider alternative options before making a purchase from this company.
Thriving Tree: My Experience with Fast Growing Trees
and has been helpful in resolving the problem. They offered to send a replacement tree or issue a refund. I opted for the replacement tree and it arrived in good condition. This time, the packaging was much better and the tree was healthy and vibrant.
I planted the new tree and it has been thriving ever since. It has grown several inches in just a few weeks and looks beautiful in my yard. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend Fast Growing Trees to anyone looking for quality trees.
One thing to note is that the trees may take some time to adjust to their new environment and may not look perfect right away. It is important to give them time and proper care to ensure their growth and health. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience with Fast Growing Trees and would purchase from them again in the future.
Disappointed with Shipping Time and Condition of Plant from FastGrowingTrees.com
So, I recently ordered a lemon tree/bush from FastGrowingTrees.com (fast-growing-trees.com) and I must say, I was a bit disappointed with the shipping time. Don't get me wrong, the tree did eventually arrive, but it took a whopping 14 days from the time I received the "Your order has shipped via FedEx" e-mail to the time that it showed up at my door in Denver via USPS. The website estimated 5 days, so needless to say, I was a bit frustrated with the delay.
To make matters worse, the poor lemon tree/bush was stuck in a box for 14 days, which is definitely not ideal for a plant. When I finally opened the box, all of the leaves were shriveled and dried up. I was worried that the tree wouldn't survive, but I'm hopeful that it will recover and grow new leaves.
Now, I understand that the company can't control the speed of the US postal service, but I do think that there are other methods of shipping that would likely have yielded a better result. Perhaps they could offer expedited shipping options for those of us who are eager to receive our plants as quickly as possible.
Overall, I'm still happy with my purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com. The website was easy to navigate and the selection of plants was impressive. I just wish that the shipping process had been a bit smoother. Despite the delay and the dried-up leaves, I'm excited to see how my lemon tree/bush will grow and thrive in the coming months.
Disappointing Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com: Shipping Tropical Plants in Winter
I recently bought 2 Vanilla Orchids from FastGrowingTrees.com, which is a pretty difficult plant to take care of. Unfortunately, my first order arrived late and dead due to freezing. I was pretty disappointed, but FastGrowingTrees.com replaced my order without any issues. However, the replacement order arrived late as well, and some of the leaves were already wilted and frozen. I checked the soil temperature and it was only at 53 degrees. I don't really understand how they can ship tropical plants across the country in the middle of winter, in a box with air vents and no insulation or heat packs and expect them to survive.
I'm going to try to revive them, but I'm not very confident that they have much of a chance of making it. I mean, it's not like I'm a professional gardener or anything, but it seems like common sense to me that tropical plants need a certain level of warmth and humidity to thrive. I'm not sure if FastGrowingTrees.com is aware of this or not, but it's definitely something they should consider if they want to keep their customers happy.
To make matters worse, the replacement plants were also half dead when they arrived. I'm just waiting to see if they'll make it or not. If they don't, I'm not sure what FastGrowingTrees.com will do. I hope they'll replace them again, but I'm not holding my breath. All in all, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with FastGrowingTrees.com. I was really excited to get these plants, but it's been a pretty big letdown so far.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com
I recently purchased some blueberry bushes from FastGrowingTrees.com and I must say they were great! However, I also purchased a persimmon tree which unfortunately suffered some sort of debilitating attack and died soon after planting. I contacted the company with some accompanying photos, but to my dismay, I did not receive any service. All I got was a simple "Sorry" from management. I asked for a refund, but to my surprise, I got nothing in return.
I followed the planting instructions and watered the tree accordingly, but it still died within just four months. I feel that the company could have done better by reimbursing me for the dead tree or at least sending me a new one. It's quite disappointing to see that they did not want to take responsibility for their product.
Overall, I think the company did their best, but they could have done better in terms of customer service. I will not be using or recommending FastGrowingTrees.com again. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this company, but unfortunately, they did not live up to my expectations.
Disappointing Purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com: Small Plants, Broken Limbs, Missing Citronella Grass
I was really disappointed with my recent purchase from FastGrowingTrees.com. When my plants arrived, I was shocked at how small they were! Some of them had broken limbs and the Citronella grass was missing altogether. Even the Boxwoods were tiny - no bigger than my hand! I paid a lot of money for these plants and I expected better. I could have gone to my local nursery and gotten the same plants for the same price. I sent pictures to the company and I hope they make things right. Their website is so beautiful and I thought their products would be just as amazing. It feels like they were trying to deceive me. I wrote to them yesterday and today, but I haven't heard back yet. If they don't fix this, I'll have to take some serious action. I can't believe I spent $431 on 11 miniature shrubs and plants. I really thought I was getting something special. Don't make the same mistake I did - be careful when you buy from FastGrowingTrees.com!
Disappointing Experience with FastGrowingTrees.com: Poor Quality and Customer Service
My experience with FastGrowingTrees.com has been quite disappointing, both in the past and currently. It seems like they just send out poor quality specimens, knowing that they cannot be easily returned due to their size. Out of the ten trees or plants that I have received from them, only one has survived. This is completely unacceptable, and I find it hard to believe that a tree could die in just two days of spring weather. It seems like a bogus excuse to me.
To make matters worse, they often send out sticks with no leaves or roots. This is not what I paid for, and I will never use their services again. Even the free shipping that they offer is included in the astronomical prices that they charge for these poor quality specimens.
When I contacted their customer service, they told me to wait for weeks to see if the plant would bounce back. But why should I have to wait when I paid top dollar for smaller size trees or bushes? I would expect them to make some effort to send out healthy plants and trees in the first place.
Overall, I would not recommend FastGrowingTrees.com to anyone looking for quality plants or trees. The prices are too high for the poor quality that they offer, and their customer service is not helpful at all. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your gardening needs.
Defective plants delivered by fast growing trees
I received my order (#1229521) on May 25. The four plants were dry and the leaves were crispy. I've provided images of the dead plants.
On May 26 I submitted a request for resolution via email but received no response.
On May 27 I reached a representative who subsequently transferred my call to another representative named Elvis. Elvis agreed to send four replacement plants but I have not received them.
I submitted details through the portal but received no response.
I submitted a request through the chat tool but it never connected. For an hour the chat tool displayed the message "Customer service: Hi, we are connecting you to an available service agent. Meanwhile, feel free to continue browsing the site."
Next week I will file a complaint with the District Attorney.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive four high quality plants as promised or a complete refund.
Leland Cypress Trees
April 2021 we purchased 14 Leland Cypress trees. My husband planted them according to instructions provided. We set up a irrigations system to keep them properly watered. Now, at least 8 of the trees appear to be dying. The color of the trees goes from green to rust and then brown. It appears that they didn't survive the Winter. We have over $900.00 dollars invested in the trees plus the hours of labor to plant and water them. What should we do to resolve this issue?
Desired outcome: Refund so we can purchase trees locally.
Haas Avocado tree
I purchased 2 Hass Avocado trees from FGR. One in May 202 and the second in August 2021. While both trees arrive in pretty decent condition since planting and taking care of them according to their recommendations, they have grown very sick and appear to be just about dead. Having just finished a chat and phone call with them they they tried to place blame on me for not taking care of them properly which is not the case. One of the reps "fred" says they don't like to much water and I asked then why do you show them in your climate zone chart for south Florida when they very well know it rains daily here in the late spring and summer season. They were unwilling to take any action to resolve the issue other than saying I can buy a warranty. Do they really think I would give them any more money when their service is so poor. I would not recommend buying anything from them as they will not stand behind their product. I have included phots of the trees so you can see how poor condition they are in. I have a yard full of fruit trees and plans and all thrive so I am summing not 1 but both of their trees was not healthy 2 begin with.
Desired outcome: None - As they say, buyer be ware. Go to your local nursery where they will likely be more professional.
Fruit Trees
The fruit trees FGT sent me last year (2020) were all diseased ("black spot"). The trees were very small and overpriced. Laughable, really.
After they sent replacements, 2 out of 8 trees died this Spring (2021) -- a 20% fatality rate, not good.
I think they should have offered to replace the dead trees, but they did not.
In summary: diseased/defective trees, too small, overpriced, poor survival rate.
Desired outcome: Refund the two dead trees and I'm done with FGT!
Windmill palm
I have ordered windmill palms in the past (2017) and the plant I received a large and in good shape. The cost was $ 69. Over the last 3-4 years I have ordered needle palms, boxwoods, trees and shrubs all in good shape and a decent value. So I ordered another windmill palm this time at $ 89. I thought at the added cost it would be at least the same size. The palm I received was half the size of the previous palm and $ 20 more. In fact, it was so small, I thought it was a needle palm. I contacted the vendor about the size of the plant and they flippantly replied, sometimes you get a small one. That was an unacceptable response. I have filed an ftc compliant. I will withdraw the compliant if they send me a "large" windmill palm at their own shipping cost.
The company refunded the full amount plus shipping so I withdraw this review.
leland cypress and crepe/crape myrtle case#230862
I purchased a large number of trees and plants from Fast Growing trees. These trees/plants are mailed. Many arrive with damage pots and brown leaves if they have leaves when they arrive. The company includes a note in the box stating it is normal for leaves to turn brown and they will be fine. Order #9274540 and 9239666.
The Leland Cypress and Italian Cypress trees I received (2/27/18) all came in various states including broken pots, very little dirt left and most of the 14 were somewhat brown. The trees continued to turn brown until 3 completely died and 3 more are nearly dead. The Crepe Myrtle arrived (4/28/18) looking like a stick, had no leaves and has done nothing since it arrive to indicate it would bloom. Some seem to be doing well.
I requested advice on saving any I could, replacement of the dead and dying trees or reimbursement (I know they sell out of some items). I noted that my preference is to replace them. I also asked for their advice regarding what I needed to do to save the ones that had brown but still appeared to be living. In one of the contacts they stated the Tuscarora Crepe Myrtle was under their dormant tree policy.
I did a scratch test on all trees. 3 of the Leland Cypress were brown and 3 were brown/green under the bark and hardly any green on the plant. The Crepe Myrtle was brown underneath. Apparently the 3 nearly dead does not warrant a response. Fast Growing Trees agreed to replace 3 of the Leland Cypress and the Crepe Myrtle (as they had these in stock) advising me I would need to pay the shipping. I asked if it would work to order more plants to bring the amount up to the amount needed for free shipping and include those plants in the order hoping for a win/win for the company and myself.
The next email I receive is that they will refund for the 3 Leland Cypress and 1 Crepe Myrtle. At this point I cannot replace these as their prices have gone up as the size of their trees increased. I sent a response requesting they not do that and please send me the replacement trees due to the problem with using their certificate (not an actual refund as I can only use it at their business) and the value not being enough to replace with the same items. I was hoping to maintain a business relationship as I have plenty more yard to landscape.
The next response I received was email stating my gift codes were activate. Unfortunately it appears this company could care less about maintaining a customer. I have since read some reviews online. I have read in many of the negative reviews the company removed their reviews from the website so these are found in other locations.
I thought I had found a company I was going to be ordering many more plants from in the near and far future. I have attached pictures of all 10 Leland Cypress, 4 Italian Cypress and 1 Tuscarora Crepe Myrtle. Some are healthy trees and others are dead or nearly dead. I felt it important to include everything I could in this complaint to be fair as to what has transpired. Below you will see the communication between Fast Growing Trees reps and myself. You can see my last response was yesterday morning. This morning I had no response to this but I received email notifying me the gift codes were activated. They offered replacements and changed what they were offering to gift codes. I would still appreciate receiving replacement trees instead of the gift codes to resolve this matter.

Please send me the plants and I will pay the shipping. I cannot replace them for the cost you are reimbursing as you are now selling them for a higher price. Let me know how to take care of the shipping. I don't want reimbursed I want the trees.
I appreciate if you would work with me on this matter. I have plenty more room and need for more plants and trees in our yard and by working with me on this I feel I can trust continuing to order.
Thank you

I would like to replace the trees. Are you still having the free shipping of over $79? If so I could order more and prevent the need for shipping cost. Can we make that work?

Mara,
Thank you for clarifying how many plants did not recover. The plants that still have some green left can be pruned back. The dead or dying portions of the tree can be removed in the hopes that the trees will fill back out.
In regards to the Tuscarora Crape Myrtle, we do have the 2-3 ft size available. I can send you one of these as a replacement if you like or if you would prefer a different plant we can issue you a store credit and make some recommendations.
In regards to the 3 Leyland Cypress trees that have completely died. we have more available. They are no longer covered under our guarantee, but since they arrived in a stressed state we can ship out 3 more replacements for you, if you can cover the shipping cost of $19.95 or if you prefer a store credit for these trees we can issue that. Please let us know which option would work best. I look forward to your response.

Hello. Thank you for your response. Yes all the plant care instructions were followed. We have other Leland Cypress trees that have done wonderful in the same yard. We we're adding these as additional privacy.
There are 3 Leland Cypress trees I scratched with brown beneath and 3 that are green/brown. The other Leland Cypress and italian Cypress are green beneath. When they were delivered some looked a little worse for wear and plastc planters they were in had been broken. I didn't worry thought because your letter inside said it was normal due to being boxed for days. I wonder if these that are turning are the same ones.
I would like to know if I should just clip off the brown on those still green?
I would really like to replace the bad ones with the same thing if possible. If not can you suggest something comparable to the crepe/crape myrtle? It sounds like you don't have that one. The other plants seems to be doing quite well.
Thank you
Mara Campbell

HI Mara,
Thank you for contacting us. I'm sorry you're having some issues with your plants! The Tuscarora Crape Myrtle is covered under our dormancy guarantee. We are currently out of the 1-2 ft trees that you had ordered. We can replace it with something else of the same value, $21.21 or issue a store credit or refund.
Can you do a scratch test on the leyland cypress and italian cypress that look the worse (completely brown) and give us a number that are brown when doing the scratch test?
How often have these plants been watered? Does your soil drain well and was it amended upon planting the trees? Were they mulched around the base after planting?
Thank you and we'll look for your response!

Last pic from Mara Campbell. There is a pic I sent by mistake. It was too dark to see the tree so I took another.
There are 4 italian Cypress. 1 crepe myrtle (with close up to show the under where I scraped is brown). 10 Leland Cypress. I would like to save any I can with your input, replace those that cannot be saved or are already dead or get reimbursed.

I purchased 10 Leland Cypress and 4 italian Cypress. Some have turned completely brown, some are about half brown while others have a little brown on them.
I also purchased a crepe myrtle. I have had this was for less time but it just looks like a stick. I scraped an area of bark and it is brown underneath.
I am wondering if any can be saved and how to do so. I am also wondering about getting the others replaced.
I have pictures of the trees. I have to submit separately to send.
I heard from the company again. They seem to be willing to replace the Tescarora Crepe Myrtle and 3 Leland Cypress trees if I pay the shipping. They advised they were able to reduce the shipping cost somewhat as well. I will follow up with them tomorrow and attempt to complete this resolution.
Don't waste your money
They have a good idea, but this business itself is simply a joke. My poor Clementine Tree died too soon, I didn't even understand what happened.
Called them to complain. They said I had to provide photos that thres really something wrong with the tree. No problem. Why would I lie? I did. Sent them.
They are gone. I don't know what happened but since then I haven't been able to reach them.
Please, never do business with them. Looks like they don't stand behind their products...
Wasn't able to cancel my order
I have a terrible experience with Fast-Growing-Trees and I would like to warn others about this company.
I bought a plant from them and within an hour I contacted them and asked them to cancel my order. They refused to do that and claimed that my order was shipped. They said that I can send it back when I get it, but in that case I will have to pay a restocking fee + return shipping.
By the way I still have not received the plant and I'm not sure if it really was shipped. I did not receive shipping notification.
Bad experience
I do not believe that all the positive reviews are true! I had a negative experience with Fast-Growing-Trees so I don't trust these positive reviews, I bet they all are fake!
Ordered a bush from this company and it arrived damaged. Contacted customer service and asked for another bush and they said ok. One week later they delivered another bush and there was nothing wrong with it except that it wasn't the correct one! These guys can't do anything right! They are terrible and unprofessional! It took forever until I actually received what I paid for.

I ordered a Lemon Tree and Key Lime tree from Fast-growing trees. The plants were not in great condition on arrival, but I figured they were stressed from shipping. The leaves were curled, the leaves were dry and had holes in them. I did everything it says on their website for care including using their citrus care kit. I tried more water/ less water but the trees still look unhealthy. Then I realized the trees were infested with bugs, probably aphids. These trees are indoor plants and have not been outside since I got them. I have two other aloe plants which have never had any issues. When I contacted Fast-growing Trees, they said the infestation could not possibly have come from them and it was my responsibility to buy insecticides to remedy the trees. Very disappointed, I would not buy from them again.
Totally disappointed with purchase. Bought (2) riders of Thule green giant. Was supposed to grow 3-5 feet per year once established. Theyve been in the ground for over two years. Had of them died and the other half have grown 1 foot. Will never order from you again. Will tell everyone I know not to order from FGT.com.
I clicked on the button for buy 2 get 2 free. My package arrives and I get one tree. I contact them and they say I only paid for 1 tree even though I clicked on the tab that said buy 2 get 2 free. So I get 1 tree for the price of 4. A complete scam. I could pay $20 more dollars to return my 1 tree and then they would also charge me a 25% restocking fee. I will never shop at this company again.
