After doin sum research on dealerships cuz I had a real bad time at anotha one, I found out that Fitz Mall don't have sales peeps on commission. I went there cuz they got clear prices and I gotta say, I was pretty happy. Rachel and Tessa helped me out with buyin my car and they were both awesome. The whole crew at the dealership was real nice and they didn't hit me with no hidden charges. I'd totally tell othas to check 'em out.
I've been lookin' around everywhere for a new Hyundai Palisade
I've been lookin' around everywhere for a new Hyundai Palisade. Thought I had found one in GA 'cause that's where my business is. The salesperson from this dealer gave me a call and knew we were 6 hours away. Right from the start, they made sure I knew that. They told me the price of the vehicle and said they don't do dealer installed options. So, I agreed to take the vehicle when it comes in and put a deposit down. But, not even 30 seconds after I called the other dealer to say I found one somewhere else, the salesperson calls me and says they won't sell me the vehicle 'cause my business is in GA! Like, seriously, what dealership cares what state you're in if you're buyin' a car?! This is a terrible way to do business and really messed up our purchase! Especially since we buy vehicles for our business so often! Our store manager, who's from Florida, recommended this dealer to us! But this is straight-up discrimination! "I won't sell the vehicle to you 'cause you don't live in Florida" - what a joke. This place is awful to do business with, not to mention the salesperson says "we've had so many out of state deals lately, we wanna save some cars for local people." So, they do out of state deals, but I guess they get to pick and choose who they allow and who they don't.

I had a really bad experience with Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall when I took my car to the Subaru Service Department for repairs and maintenance. They still haven't fixed the clunking noise in my suspension, but they charged me thousands of dollars. I left my car with them for weeks on two separate occasions for them to work on the suspension noise. Both times, when I picked up my car, they had broken things on it without saying anything. Luckily, I had the chance to inspect my car and take pictures before and after dropping it off. But it got even worse when they broke my radiator during a routine flush. The service advisor lied to my face and said I had a radiator leak, and that I needed to buy a new one for an extra $800. I think they were trying to scam me by making me pay for a new radiator that their technician broke! Now I'm still waiting for them to fix the latest issue they caused while my car was there last time. I had a scheduled appointment for them to replace an outer tie rod that the technician broke, but they turned me away and made me reschedule. They never communicate with me properly, and it's always a struggle to get through to them when I call. They didn't even bother to contact me and reschedule my most recent appointment. They just let me drive all the way there and then told me they couldn't work on my car that day. I want to warn people that based on my experience, they don't deserve any stars. They really don't seem to care about their customers, in my opinion.
I'm writing to warn others about the lack of knowledge and customer service at Fitzgerald Jeep
I'm writing to warn others about the lack of knowledge and customer service at Fitzgerald Jeep. When you buy a Jeep/Chrysler vehicle, you expect the service department to care. But this service department is full of false hopes, poor service, and flat-out lies.
Jordan doesn't know how to be honest, Bill is just a talking piece, and poor Jamie has no control. Twice in the past two weeks, I had an appointment for warranty service on my 2019 Cherokee Limited, which has a continuous transmission issue.
On my first visit, they had the transmission for the whole day and heard the issues. But they made a comment about why they scheduled my appointment for June 28th when they were already 8 cars behind. We went into the service area, and Jamie and Jordan rescheduled me for 8 a.m. on July 12th.
I arrived at the dealership at 7:45, and Bill helped me. Jordan said they had an open ticket. I left my vehicle there to accommodate them and avoid waiting. I discussed with Bill that I needed it done by 12 or for them to call me, but I had to have it by 3 at the latest. Since no one called me at 12 to confirm if it was ready, I called at 2:20. They told me they hadn't even started it and it could take days. The communication was terrible. And then Jordan had the audacity to say, "I couldn't just drop the Jeep off and expect them to get it done," when they set the appointment. They did nothing and wasted two days of my time. Who pays me for my time?
I would tell everyone and anybody to run from this dealership. Don't walk, but run. It's the worst service department in Pinellas County, Florida. They sell you a car, and then you go into service hell.
As someone who has been an executive director of a major company with over 200 employees for 40 years, I would suggest the owner look into "Customer Service." It's the make or break for a company, and Fitzgerald is definitely broken!
It's a shame because this used to be a decent company. Again, run, don't walk, from doing business with Fitzgerald Auto Group.

Always another problem, not what they said
Always another problem, not what they said. I brought my Hyundai XG350L in for the ABS and TCS lights going off and on. They told me it was a left front wheel sensor that shorted out. But guess what? The lights are still on because now they say it's a computer problem. They always have an answer, but never a solution. All they want to do is replace parts until they stumble upon the one causing the problem. They did take some money off the bill, but seriously, why don't they just admit they don't know the problem instead of ripping people off for money?
I leased a car from Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall in April , and I've been making all my lease payments on time
I leased a car from Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall in April , and I've been making all my lease payments on time. Now, as my lease term is coming to an end on April 30, I want to exercise my option to purchase the car. However, I noticed that the contract states a Purchase Option Fee of $0.00 and a fee to the originating dealer of n/a. But now Fitzway is trying to charge me a $699 fee, which was not mentioned in the original contract. I don't think it's fair to ask me to pay a fee that wasn't specified in the beginning.
I called the boss man 'bout this car place takin' 93 bucks from me for registerin' my new leased ride
I called the boss man 'bout this car place takin' 93 bucks from me for registerin' my new leased ride. Turns out, they only used 9 bucks and 10 cents to register it for 2 months. Can ya believe it? I been drivin' 'round for a whole dang year with no registration! I talked to John M., the big shot manager, and we went through all the numbers. He said he'd send it to accountin' to get me my 93 bucks back. But it's been weeks now and I ain't heard a peep. They told me it was some software mess-up and it happened to other folks too. I been tryin' to get in touch with this awful car place, but they ain't respondin' to me. I want my money back, plain and simple. They took it from me in a sneaky way, and that ain't right.

I bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson 2022 on August 3rd
I bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson 2022 on August 3rd. On August 23rd, while I was driving very slowly in a parking lot, my brakes suddenly "lockrd" and I couldn't push on them. The collision safety systems were alarming, but they didn't stop the car. I ended up bumping into the car in front of me. Luckily, there was no visible damage or even a scratch on either car. I immediately took my car to the dealership so they could check my brakes, sensors, and electronics. They said it would take 7 to 10 days. They told me they didn't find anything and that "an expert" would access the black box to investigate further. It's been over 2 months now, and they're still checking my car. We called them several times to follow up. Finally, they told us that there was nothing wrong with the brakes, but 6 sensors were "damaged underneath" due to the collision, and the repair cost is $6,000 plus. We submitted an insurance claim, and the car was supposed to be done by 11/11. However, it wasn't and still isn't. It's been almost 3 months since we took the car to be checked.
I was speaking on behalf of my friend in September when we brought our Chrysler into Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall for a second diagnostic
I was speaking on behalf of my friend in September when we brought our Chrysler into Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall for a second diagnostic. Our first diagnostic said we needed an ABS pump, but they said we would have to go to Chrysler to get it fixed. So, we decided to just do it at Chrysler in Clearwater. We had no problem there. They did the diagnostic and said, "Yes, the ABS pump needs to be fixed, but everything else is safe." So, we said, "Okay, fix it." We paid and later noticed that the car's steering wheel started stiffening. I called Fitzgerald's, but they were closed. So, I asked the representative if he could leave a note stating that after we got it fixed, it started doing that. The representative said, "I will leave a note, but nobody is going to read it." So, I said, "Okay, well let me speak to a manager." The manager was understanding and dealt with the situation.
The next day, we went to drop off the car and the same guy said, "I can't make an appointment there." I spoke to the manager again, and they did the diagnostic. It took 2 hours to fix, but it's still not fixed. They said I have to pay $2000 for the part. If it's not fixed, a lawyer will contact me.
I'm leaving this here for everyone to decide on the service I got from Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall
I'm leaving this here for everyone to decide on the service I got from Fitzgerald's Countryside Automall. Here are the dates and facts: On 6/8, I brought in my 2011, 200 Chrysler convertible to fix a leaky roof and squeaky brakes. I paid $740.70 to replace the seals and fix the brakes. However, the brakes still squeak and the roof slams down when opened. On 6/10, the roof wouldn't close, so I went back to the dealership. They said it would cost $700 to fix the roof, but I refused to pay since it was working fine before, except for the leak. The manager agreed to fix it and canceled the payment. On 7/20, I brought my car back to the dealership because the roof still wouldn't open and the front brakes were squeaking (even though they said they were fine during my first visit on 6/8 and only the back brakes needed replacing). They told me the "convertible top motor/pump is not holding its prime" and it would cost $2300 to fix. I declined the roof service and decided to get the brakes done for $200 because my car vibrated when I braked. I chose Fitzgerald Auto Mall because they are a Chrysler dealership and I thought I would get honest and responsible service. Unfortunately, it felt like I was dealing with a shady garage instead. I'm really disappointed. Product/Service: 6/8 Order Number: JECSXXXXXX Account Number: JECSXXXXXX
Fitzgerald Countryside Hyundai replaced the engine under warranty
Fitzgerald Countryside Hyundai replaced the engine under warranty. But now, the lock ain't working. They're saying I gotta pay $1784 to fix it. So, I had my 2012 Hyundai Sonata towed and dropped off at Fitzgerald Countryside Clearwater to get the engine replaced, which was still under warranty. I picked up the car yesterday, on 11/02. I noticed that the key was all shiny and new. It ain't the key I've been using for the past 10 years. I thought they swapped out my key. I asked them about it, and they said they didn't replace it. I drove the car home and tried to lock it with the remote, but it didn't make any noise. The darn thing won't lock! I even tried my other key at home, but that didn't work either. So, I called up the dealership and took the car back to them. Today, they emailed me saying that if I wanna fix all four door locks, I gotta cough up $1784. I told 'em that when I dropped off the car, the locks were workin' just fine. In their report to Hyundai, when they were askin' for the new engine, they didn't mention nothin' 'bout the locks. They did a full inspection of the car to get the new engine, so there's no way they missed the locks. I got a report from Firestones Palm Harbor that I sent to Fitzgerald. It don't say nothin' 'bout any problems with the alarm. They told me they sent a request to Hyundai to replace the part that ain't covered by the warranty. But what am I supposed to do if Hyundai don't wanna give me a key for free? Fitzgerald messed up my car's locks when they replaced the engine. And instead of fixin' it, they want me to pay for their mistake. I can't and I ain't got no reason to pay $1784. The proof is the new key they gave me. You can tell the difference between a key that's been used for 10 years and a brand-new one. And the second piece of evidence is their inspection report to Hyundai, which don't mention the locks. I'm stuck in the middle and don't know what to do now. Please help me out.
