My car loan was pay off off around July 10 n the following August 6 they took another payment and now refusing to return my money. So I called my credit union and reported them my credit union said if they woulda close the account out auto pay would been turn off. Said flagship known for doin this. And still won’t return my money I think they should pay interest on it for screwing my account up.
Now they won’t even take my calls
This company is run by a bunch of thieves and I don’t understand how they get away with it

Car loan credit reporting at flagship credit acceptance
I made all my payments on time for the balance of my car loan, my credit report reflect current every single month. Until I lost my job with Covid. Then I called them and they agreed to allow me to make payment arrangements with them, which I did. According to everything I read online about this, it's not supposed to negative impact your credit report. For the months that I made slow payments/late payments due to Covid, it still shows my status on Current on my credit report. So after I paid off my car loan, to my shock my credit report took a hit because it was reported it paid off on "late" terms so they marked my flawless credit report with 30 days late. They never bothered call me and tell me they were expecting 3 payments in my final months. I never got a letter or anything. I have tried to fight this, but they will not budge. Seems like they'll ruin your credit just for fun.
I don't know how someone can be both 100% on time, and worst pay status as "current" on their payments, and also be 30 days late at the same time. That doesn't math. This kind of nonsense shouldn't even be legal.
Desired outcome: I would like it removed from my credit report.

Say away. Run from this company. Contacted customer service to get payoff on car. Talk to a representative on tuesday and he gave me the payoff amount good for ten day 7300. I asked him why on the web site it was 6800. He couldn't explain. I waited till the next to call then a new rep gave stated my account balance is 7300 and payoff is 8000. After 25 mins with this guy. I believed he was trying to figure out the amount using paper and pen. Requested a supervisor or anyone with a iq, he refused claiming the supervisor was busy. His fixed was for me to make a payment first, wait 2 days and the system can get a clear payoff date.. Lol

I have been having a lot of problems with flagship credit I have been making my payment and they keep reporting late. and 2018 it was a hurricane for august September and October, I was told by a flagship credit employee that I had a three-month grace point due to the hurricane they told me they will push the payment back until I was back at work. I later found out that they reported late payments and they didn't honor what I was told on the phone. just recently they but a 30-day late payment on my credit report for the month of November. my payments are due by the 18th of every month its known way they can report a late payment for the month of November until after December 17 because that will be 30 days also when I called in to make my payment October 21 the customer service rep let me know that I was paid up and just have to make sure to make my next payment before December 17.. they said I was missing a payment for October and September I made two payment in October one on October 15 and the other one on October 21 both payments cleared. flagship is saying that they needed receive the payment but that is a liar. I have my bank statements that shows they did. I also three-way my bank navy fed. on the phone with flagship to go over the two payments for the month of October that I paid. this has been a lot for me I am very stressed out I am a single mother of 4 and i don't have money to just give away I am working on buying a house and all these issues with flagship credit with my payment is hurting my credit badly please help. This company is being very nasty to me on the phone I have been yelled at hang up on. And talked to with so much anger. At this point I am afraid of having a conversation with this company because they are so disrespectful. I don't know what might happen next. I don't feel comfortable even being in this contact with flagship no longer because of the disrespect the losing my payments and the poor customer service I have been with this company for three years now and it getting worse every year I can't keep dealing with this verbal abuse. I will like all late payments removed from all three-credit report. for the month of august, September and October of 2018. and the one that just been placed on my credit from November have my bank statements I paid two times in October both times was before 30 days was up. and I still have until December 17th for November's payment. I don't feel comfortable nor safe on the phone moving forward I want to return the car and be let out this contract. this company should be ashamed on how they treat they customer. I cannot continue to get abused by this company.

I am just trying to warn people not to go with this credit acceptance agency They are very rude and when you call their to try to speak to a supervisor they will Leave you on hold and they will not let you speak to one Half the time you can not understand what they are saying and they can not understand you I definitely can see why they got so many bad reviews they are horrible

I left a vm with avp Rob COok today after having to find a number online to reach him due to staff at 317.927.8600 no wanting to give me a number to corporate after several request. Anywho, Camille and Steve (supposedly supervisors) Make the company look bad. I've been with Flagship since 2013 and through all bumps in road I have ALWAYS fixed any let downs on my behalf with paying due to financial situations. Moral of story, I was told that I could pay my payoff amount by the end of the year and that although it would not look too great on credit that it was an option! Lost my phone in July (haven't had one since) I guess they charged off my account on Tuesday Sept 3rd 2019 . I begged and pleaded with these people for two weeks for me to come up with the 2, 500, and all that Camille and Steve could do was threaten me with legal action and calling me a liar in so many ways! Terrible company all in all...almost feel scammed!

My wife called in on June 28th 2019 to defer a payment due to me being unemployed, and the customer service rep she talked to asked her if she wanted to defer 1 payment or 2 payments and my wife said we should be good with just deferring 1 payment because I was supposed to have started my new job mid July. The customer service rep proceeded to tell my wife well if you need to defer another payment just give flagship a call back to process another deferred payment. My start date for my new job had gotten pushed back to the second week of August, so she called flagship today July 25th 2019 to defer another payment as she was informed she could. She talked to a manager named Carlos who proceeded to be very rude to her and stating she couldn't defer another payment till 2020. When my wife informed Carlos of what the CSR had told her he said that wouldn't of been something his CSR would say. She asked him to pull the call and review it to prove that's exactly what was said, Carlos proceeded to ignore her request and told her unemployment of a spouse doesn't approve the request of deferring a payment. Which doesn't make sense due to the fact that was the reason my wife had given to the CSR who had approved the deferring of her June payment. So now due to incorrect information from a Flagship employee we are now going to be hit with a late payment, which is totally and completely ridiculous and unfair. We did nothing wrong and now will be penalized for an employees mess up, Carlos refused to transfer us to another manager or to a manager that was above him. This needs to be fixed and rectified now, we are also looking into transferring our auto loan to another company. We would appreciate a call back either at [protected] or [protected].
unethical behavior - poor customer service
I've had nothing but problems with this company since I established a car load with them 2 years ago. The most recent, I have been trying to log into their payment portal for three days and kept getting error messages. I also tried to make a payment using the electronic phone system and kept getting the message "you are not set up for electronic payments". I finally reached someone today, and after 20 minutes on the phone they corrected the web portal problem. While on the phone I also made a payment, but this put me 31 days past due. I asked them to please not report the late payment to the credit and they told me "there are other ways to make a payment". WTF? Really? Again this is NOT the first issue I've had with these crooks, but they are always looking for a way to screw their customers.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this finance company! They
approved my car loan and I drove my new vehicle home only to have this company
back out of agreement! Simply over a misunderstanding on their part. My bad
experience began when I received a "welcome call" from this finance
company two days after securing loan and when asked who would be "primary
driver" I answered my daughter who lives with me and is also on the auto
insurance plan. They immediately showed concern over this even though I
explained that I don't like to drive being that I am 65 years of age and have
Rheumatoid arthritis. I explained that I am taking ownership of car but she is
the one who always drives me to appointments and errands. I clearly stated that
she lived with me and was on auto insurance policy but they accused me of
making a "straw purchase" which I didn't have a clue was until I
googled it later that day. Basically, they accused me of financing a car for my
daughter which was untrue. Because of this, they backed out of loan agreement
and tarnished my credit score too! Thank goodness for the car dealership for
coming to the rescue to find another lender. Avoid this lender because they go
out of their way to find anything to deny you on...even unfactual claims!

Horrible service I paid off my truck 4 months ago and they still took out payments and now I’m going month 5 and still haven’t received my money back. They are great with taking your money in a day but 5 months has gone by and I’m still waiting for my money to be returned to me. Never do auto pay with this company
