I paid for a Beach front Condo on Oct 2nd for 3 nights. It was supposed to have 4 person occupancy with a King Bed and Queen Sofa Sleeper. But when we got there on Friday night, we found out they removed the Queen Sofa Sleeper and just put a regular couch. So now, only two people can sleep. I called the Office on Saturday morning and talked to Barbara. She said they would contact the owner. Vickey called me back and said the owner did replace the Sofa sleeper and put an army cot in the closet. They were still trying to contact the owner to find a better situation for us. But they never called us back all weekend. I had to take my 87-year-old mother to a residence in Largo off the beach. Today at checkout, Sandy the manager told me they knew about the problem on Oct 10th when they had the same problem with another guest but still didn't tell us or try to find a suitable replacement unit. We arrived on Nov 5th. They offered me a $100 refund even though I paid $800 and lost half of the sleeping occupancy. Their Money-back Guarantee is BOGUS. I call this a SCAM! How many others have been scammed by their advertisements? The Money Back Guarantee says if you are not 100% happy with the unit and they don't find a suitable replacement, they will refund 100%. They never even returned my call all weekend. The manager Sandy told me she has had problems when traveling and just "MADE DO" never even made a complaint! They knew about the issue almost a month before my arrival and never told me or tried to find better arrangements. That is intentional scamming. Their advertisement shows 4 person Occupancy! Now they are trying to change it.

We rented a place called Sunset Paradise Unit #9 in Indian Rocks, Florida for six people from February 4-19, 2022, through Florida Lifestyle Vacation Rentals in Indian Shores, Fl (RES-XXXXX, Confirmaton *** Total Booking Charges of $3469.70 was paid in full. When we got there, we saw that the fridge was dirty and the kitchen walls were too. We called the office and they said they'd send someone over. A lady came and cleaned the fridge a bit, but that was it. We found a used condom on the floor by our bed, and there were lights out and mold around the patio door and on the walls of the deck. There were also broken floor tiles in the bedroom. We called the next day and were told no one could come over until 2:00 that afternoon, while we were gone. And that it was up to us to tell the cleaning person the problems, even though we had reported them to management. Since we were gone, she only picked up the condom and nothing else. We called again to report that this unit was in poor condition and we wanted to be moved elsewhere. They said nothing else was available and it would take up to five days to get any refund. Since there were four adults and two children needing to find some other location, without the money we had already paid for this unit, we were at a loss. When we checked out, we told them there was also exposed wiring by the lower bunk bed (no outlet cover) and mold around the floor boards, which was concerning, since our 8 year old grandson slept in that bedroom. The bedding had covered up the outlet, so this was found as we checked out. We completed a check-out survey, talked to Vickey and Sandy about this unacceptable and unsafe location, and asked them to contact the owners, since we were told it wasn't their responsibility, but the owners. Then were told they wouldn't refund our money, or compensate for the days the problems weren't corrected.

Air was broke for 5 days and nights. Management hung up on us telling us to take it up with God. They put Freon, it stayed at 79%. We arrived on July 3, to find no parking available. Someone had parked in our spot. We asked management to help, they called someone, but it wasn't until 4 or 5 hours before we could park. The manager gave us a guest pass for our son to visit, and there really wasn't any guest parking either. He knew we wouldn't find parking, apparently this happens every day at these condos. We had to locate parking down the street, so by the time we got settled, it was late. My husband said to me the next morning that was the worst night sleep, it was so hot. My daughter and grandbabies as well had to bring in fans. We waited until about 4 o'clock hoping the air would eventually cool. My husband and I have traveled, and we do not usually complain, but he said you need to call and see what they can do, it's hot. Well, I called the number they gave, and the lady told me it was the 4th, she didn't know if she could get someone out, and then changed her tone with me and said if it's so bad, why did you wait so long to call? I said we were hoping it would work, also we were busy taking our family to the beach. The air conditioner man came out, walked in, looked at it, did a few things, and left. He never said a word to us about what was wrong or if it would be cooler, it remained hot. I got a call the next day telling me they were changing the unit's air conditioning, and again the lady on the phone said why didn't you call earlier if you were that hot? I was so frustrated that they kept pointing their finger at us. I asked to speak to the manager; he got on the phone and said he was the owner and there was no one above him. He told me they put Freon, and it was manageable, the air was about 78%79%. I told him this was horrible treatment to be questioned over and over again about why I didn't call, and the parking situation was horrible. He was very rude and questioned me again and said we gave you guest parking, we put Freon. They changed the whole unit 5 days later, it got to be 80%, we couldn't use our kitchen. They told me just go out for the day; they did not provide another place for us or offer any compensation for all the trouble. The manager (owner) after I told him I would be calling the ComplaintsBoard.com said take it up with God and hung up on me. I waited until later and tried to call maintenance, and no one answered, we were on our own. This is the most unprofessional I've ever dealt with. Later I called the lady I originally booked with Cathy G. with Florida vacation rentals, and she said be quiet Mrs. I'm not listening to you, do what you want, you need to stop talking, I'm not listening, and why did you wait to call if it was so hot? Call whoever you want. The sad part is I trusted her when I booked; she also knew I was a Christian, that's why the owner told me to talk to God, this was very discriminating from the manager. They offered my husband $50 comp for all of our trouble; we've yet to see that. I really feel if the owner knew how bad they represented them, they would be very disappointed. I personally think they need to refund 5 days at the price we paid; we truly did not get what we paid for. And during a family get-together, we should have gotten better service. We paid a total of $1828.14 for 7 days, July 3-10. 5 days would be a refund of $1305.00.
