I have a recall on my car and they don't have the parts to fix it then when I get to the dealership twice in two weeks, they had me come out and each time the service manager could not give me a rental because they either don't have one or I have to pay for a free rental while they fix my car I have contacted customer service which filed a grievance for me and they still cannot get the service manager to extend a rental until they get the repairs done to my car now they're asking me to come on the third time and I don't even know if they'll have the parts on the third visit in three weeks to fix my car and they're telling me there's nothing they can do for me
I want to file a formal complaint .I don't know if this is the same website but I will file a complaint to every website I can find on Ford Motor Company .I have a Ford fusion that has a recall, and for the last four weeks I have been trying to get my car into the dealership but they haven't had the parts, and for two weeks they had me come out make an appointment and they have not had the parts or provide me with a rental so I can get back-and-forth to work until the repairs are done, I am just asking for a rental from Ford company until they can get the necessary parts and get my car repaired and for that rental to be free
2011 ford fiesta
There was a recall preformed on my daughters 2011 ford fiesta recently in which the battery box was repaired/replaced or resealed. When they did the recall they also replaced two fuses that were blown. Why were the fuses blown if this recall problem did not already cause another electrical problem? As soon as she received the car back there was a popping/crackling/buzzing noise coming from the speakers and it started after running the car for a period of around 45-60 minutes. The radio did not need to be on and once the sound started it did not stop even after the vehicle was turned off. It definitely sounded like an electrical problem, which is very coincidental since there was obviously some kind of electrical problem to ever have the recall at all! I took the car back to the dealer which took another week to get an appointment and they had the car for the entire day if not two days to tell me the new problem was initially the back of the radio was getting hot and shorting something out so the radio needed to be replaced (replacing two more fuses again!). I asked why would they not figure out what was the reason the wires where getting hot first before replacing the radio? I was then told the "back of the radio" was now getting hot and the radio needed to be replaced. I wondered why are we replacing the radio when the noise is still there even if the radio or car are not on? I told the dealer to replace the radio (at a cost of $350 to ME) but wonder why am I paying to replace a radio that is obviously damaged due to some electrical problem or obviously a defective radio! On top of it I had to wait two weeks for the radio because it is on back order and then the dealer has the car for an entire day again! The same problem all over the internet! Don't tell me Ford is not aware of this problem! It is so obvious that there is an electrical problem with this car and you don't even help with the repairs when this is faulty with the vehicle. I will never buy another Ford car because Ford does not stand behind their vehicles and they use junk parts that last only as long as the day the warranty expires. You do not care about your customers at all!
2011 mustang gt cylinder 8 misfire a well known problem it needs a fix
Hi my name is Cameron Belmont and I recently purchased a 2011 mustang GT and it only had 46k miles well now 4 months later with 52k miles my check engine light comes on so I check it to find out I have a cylinder 8 missfire changed plugs and coils engine light still on so I do a compression test all are good but cylinder 8 it has 15psi so I do my research and find that the flaws for the 5.0 motor is cylinder 8 is the hottest and most likely cylinder to fail so I know I'm two year out of warranty for power train but I only have 52k miles on my car and for the money I'm spending on on this mustang I would have hopped it would have held up it's value as I thought Ford did and as far as I'm concerned I'm not real happy with this product and would expect that a big company as Ford and having a known common problem with cylinder 8 in the GT mustang's that it would be a recall and it's company stand by it's cars and want there customers to be happy and want to be proud to own a Ford product which at this time I am not I know I am out of warranty when it comes to years but I know I'm under the 60k miles and I work for a Dodge dealership and I know we help people that are out of warranty all the time so I'm here to find out if the Ford company with a well known problem in their motors is willing to help me in any way shape or form and what all are my options I hope to hear back thank you
ford car tyre issue and customer service poor response
Brand new ford focus type burst incident
I have purchased a brand new ford focus on 24 nov 2017. The chassis no. Mpb3xxmxc3gk45913 and registration no. Wqt8081.
On 16 feb 2018: my wife and my mother started travelling from kl to jb at malaysia. The car condition was normal. Before the dengkil r&r car rear driver side tyre had burst on the shoulder pad/ side wall section. (refer attached photos). My wife stopped the car immediately at the highway/ expressway side. She had called plus highway/ expressway support, then plus highway/ expressway support changed the burst tyre with spare tyre. Since the spare tyre is small size, my wife had to change the spare tyre with a secondhand/ perused tyre with same size at seremban. Then she continued her journey to jb.
On 20 feb 2018, I have walk-in to ford hq pj to report the issue. There was the service team took my complaint but they could not assist me further. They mention that in-house tyre support team were not in due to festival season. I have asked them to check other 3 tyres but they did not assist me at all. They said they will contact michelin malaysia team to contact me.
There was no return call from either from michelin malaysia or ford to follow up until we called ford customer service on 26th feb 2018. Upon we complained to ford, on 26 feb 2018 a guy from michelin malaysia (named walter) called me, without even seeing the burst tyre he presumed that it was not a tyre quality issue. Then he asked me to handover burst tyre to michelin tyre shop at kl jalan ipoh. I have brought the burst to michelin tyre shop at kl jalan ipoh, at the tyre shop the shop representative again he presumed that it was not a tyre quality issue and it was user faulty issue. Furthermore, they not cooperative at all and was very rude. I have asked them to check other 3 tyres condition weather safe or not to drive since I had a plan to travel a long journey. They only remove the three tyres from car and just do external check and without seeing tyre internal section, they said other 3 tyres are safe to drive. Immediately I called ford service and highlighted that the tyre shop guys not cooperating and helpful at all.
On 1 march 2018, michelin malaysia representative (walter) text me that the tyre was burst due to use faulty. I am really disappointed with his explanation. How come just 7k+ mileage famous brand new tyre can be burst?
Until now I haven't get any call from ford malaysia part. It shows ford does not concern about customer complaints and ford willing to compromise on customer safety part. I am disappointed with ford malaysia. I have used malaysia brand car previously and their customer service was far better than ford. I will not recommend ford vehicles to any of my family and friends.
Truly disappointed,
Malaysian ford customer

powertrain warranty
Do not purchase a Ford ESP Warranty they do not cover anything. They will find an excuse to get out of paying for repairs. On January 10, 2017 I bought a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado from Leonardtown MD, at there Ford dealer, from there used lot. They talked me into purchasing a Powertrain warranty in case anything ever happened to the engine ECT. So I paid for a 3 year or 36, 000 mile warranty. Everything was good with the truck over the past year all maintenance was done on time, oil change, air filter Etc. The truck was running great then all of a sudden I was driving home from work when my engine started shaking, check engine light came on and was flashing, I knew that meant a misfire. Luckily I was pulling in my driveway at the time. I immediately had it towed to the closest Chevrolet dealership for a diagnostics test. The dealership told me that cylinder five was misfiring and had an issue inside the engine. They took the engine apart and found that cylinder 5 had been destroyed and I needed a new engine. So I said okay I have a Powertrain warranty that I purchased for this truck. I've only had it for 1 year and 1 month and only put 15, 000 miles on it. So they contacted the warranty company (Ford ESP) and started a claim. After a week goes by the dealership calls and tells me that they are going back and forth with the warranty company and that the warranty company said "that there was some kind of foreign object that went into this engine and that the foreign object needs to be found in order to determine coverage". So after another week goes by ( Week 2) the dealership calls me and tells me they cannot find anything that got into the engine and therefore the warranty company denied coverage. How is my coverage denied? The engine took at crap. So now I have to pay for a lawyer in order to try to get my truck fixed from them that should be covered under the powertrain warranty that I paid for.

Since brand new we have been having a issue with this truck while traveling down the road it shuts down and goes into safety mode while we are driving it. This is a big safety issue ! We have had it looked at by 2 different Ford Dealerships and have yet to solve the problem. we have 7258 miles on this truck and are very concerned.
Ford is not doing enough to correct this issue! This truck is being used in the fire service and is very critical it operates properly. Please have someone contact me ASAP.

service plan problems
I bought my vehicle 5 years ago brand new
Every year I take it for a normal service as per agreement on the 9th of March as I received my vehicle on the 10th of March. This year is the last service as my service plan will expire according to me the 10th of March 2018, therefor I book my service a week in advance as I done it the last previous 4 years. (no one contacted me to say you need to come in earlier due to service plan that will lapse)
This morning I was informed that they cannot do my service as the service plan already lapsed 4 days ago? The lady at the branch admits that the previous staff at the service centre in Pinetown should have informed me and they should have made a note in my service book but didn't do it.
I was not aware or informed at all that my service plan expires earlier date. I have low milage currently at 23 907km for my 5th anual service 80 000km.
I am very upset about this as I cannot afford to pay for a service as I was retrenched 3 years ago.
I urgently need some assistance re this matter

2016 ford f150 crew cab
December 2017 I was driving my 2016 Ford F150 I took a right hand turn, when all of a sudden the drivers side door opened . Thank god for my quick reflexes I grabbed the handle and pulled it toward me, it would not lock so I had to hold the door all the way to work. This could have caused a severe accident if not death to myself or any one else. Since then it happened again Jan 24, 2018, Jan. 30, 2018 and Feb. 6, 2018 the drivers door was not locking.
I called the dealer on Jan. 24th & 30th, and there reply was that they had a recall on this issue but did not have the part to fix it.
Feb. 8th I went to Webb Ford so they could fix the issue and they told me that they still did not have the part. On Feb. 28th I brought my vehicle in and left it there until they fixed it. I picked it up on March 2nd, they said it was fixed. On March 7th the door did not close again. So Webb Ford towed it back to there dealership to fix the issue again.
I feel that this vehicle is unsafe to drive. I would like a, refund or compensation on a new truck.
2008 f250 6.4
i bought a used 2008 f 250 with the 6.4. it only had 118000 miles on it when i bought it now has 126000. the computer display said i had 25 miles to empty was about half a mile away from gas station when it ran out. about 3 weeks ago i was in front of my moms it said i had 38 miles to empty ran out in front of moms house. i put fuel in it the next day wouldnt start thought i had air in the lines. bleed them got it running had a quarter of a tank and had my gf follow me got about half mile out of town heading to put fuel in it got on it and it died wouldnt start. had it towed to a ford dealer in findlay ohio they said 4500 bucks to fix cuz my warranty wouldnt cover it. i cant afford to get it fixed and to top it off this is an on going issues with these trucks high pressure fuel pump. there needs to be a recall on this isssue.
2014 ford focus
I bought my first brand new car a 2014 ford focus. I decided to go with a new car to have less problems in the long run. Boy was I wrong. After only 25000 miles my car began having transmission problems. I then brought it into the dealership and found out that ford had issued a recall on the transmission module. So I had that replaced free of charge. My car now has 45000 miles on it and it began causing me problems again, so I thought it was the same thing as before. I brought it into the dealership to have it checked out. After a day of waiting I received a call entailing all that was wrong with my car. This time it as much worse, my catalytic converter needed to be replaced which I was told this was covered by my warranty. Now the next part I was told is the reason I am here writing this compliant. The dealership told me that my fuel tank had collapsed, and it was going to cost me upwards of $2100 to be fixed. So I then asked the question, what caused this to happen? I was told that this is a rare occurrence and there was nothing I could have done to prevent it. Now keep in mind I change my oil every 3000 miles and do all the normal maintenance to keep any car running smoothly. I began to research collapsed fuel tanks in 2014 ford focuses, and I found that this not a rare occurrence and in fact it has happened to quite a few people. I hope this is found and read by Corporate Ford, so a recall can be initiated and I can be compensated.
Hi Kent.
Appreciated reading your concerns.
In today's global economy, along with the fact that everyone has access to the internet, I'd be rather surprised if others hadn't had your same issue. It's good that Ford knows about the problem, but this doesn't suggest that there is anything wrong with the vehicle or workmanship that might created the problem.
Hopefully you'll be driving and enjoying the Ford for many years to come.

2017 f-150 pickup truck
In May of 2017 I purchased a new 2017 F-150 pickup truck from Balise Ford of Hyannis, Mass. I traded in a one year old GMC truck and decided to lease the new Ford then take the leftover equity from the trade to make lease payments. The dealer took $5, 000 from trade equity as down payment for new Ford, when I asked when I would receive the rest of the equity from my trade totaling about $12, 000 the dealer general manager Damon Massey told me that he couldn't give me a check because he did not have the title for the trade yet. When I got home and thought about it i found it odd that he was able to use some of the equity for the deposit on the new Ford but couldn't give ma a check for the rest. When he called me and said me check had arrived two weeks later I decided to ask him if the check included interest for the two weeks the he had my money, Mr. Masssey went bullistic and stated the there was no interest in the check, I then stated that I would tell the dealer owner Mr. Mike Balise that I didn't like the policy of holding peoples money for longer than necessary Mr. Massey told me that "I would have to go to hell to find Mr. Mike Balise because he had died recently" then he abruptly marched off to his office. I do not believ that the Ford Motor Company want's that kind of person representing their company, therefore I believe Mr. Massey should be fires ASAP! I will be glad to discuss this matter at any time and I can be reached at [protected] [protected]@comcast.net Thank You for listening. Roger Cadrin
ongoing vehicle defect with cooling system
This is in regards to a continued, unresolved issue with a 2013 Ford Escape. Ever since I purchased the vehicle, I have had issues with the cooling system. I have had it serviced at multiple Ford dealers about 10 times and and no one seems to be able to resolve the issue. This is the only problem with the car. My 5 year warranty is expiring this week. I feel Ford should be responsible for either extending my warranty or fix the issue once and for all but I don't think they know what to do anymore. I understand this doesn't fit the 'lemon law' but this isn't right. Even as I write this, the car is at a Ford dealership and they have had it now for more than a week trying to figure out how to fix the problem.
My family has been a loyal Ford buyer for generations and I have had faith in Ford but now I have lost faith.
delay in delivery
I have owned Fords for many years. On December 15th we went to the dealership in Stillwater, Oklahoma and ordered a 2018 Focus. At that time we were told that in 6 to 8 weeks we could expect our car to arrive. It is now 10 weeks and counting. When I called to check I was told it would probably be some time in May before the car would be delivered, 5 months from the order date, a far cry from the 6 to 8 weeks promised. We placed our order in good faith, but it appears that we are not being properly taken care of, thus the company is acting in bad faith. The dealer told us they could see what they could do and would call us back. The did not call back and have failed to return my followup call (evidence of bad faith). I would still like to have the car, but I am tempted to cancel the order because of the way I am being treated.
The following information should make it easier for you to track:

2016 ford explorer limited
First of all, I'm 59 years old and have never filed a complaint like this in my life. Second, I've owned seven new or used Ford vehicles. Last year I purchased a new Limited Explorer for my wife. She has enjoyed the vehicle. Her previous three were new Ford Expeditions. However, I first became a bit disappointed with Ford, when I raised the hood to check for antifreeze and realized the cost cutting measures taken in both the fact that the antifreeze was so watered down, none of the balls in the gauge would float and a vehicle with Limited on it, had a rod to hold up the hood. I discounted this as corporate America simply squeezing out every penny without consideration for the end user. Now, at 30, 000 miles, I'm told we need new tires which have been priced at over $1000 dollars. Ford should be ashamed putting that tire on any vehicle. I've owned three F-150 trucks and am about to trade again. I was looking at another, but now have concerns as to what's been hidden in it and the cost I may incur in the future. I almost didn't check my wife's antifreeze because I had faith in Ford that there was no need. We had a cold winter. If I had not done that, I'm not certain we would not have incurred significant damage. I'm sure I'll never hear from anyone and this is a waste of my life. That being said, I at least wanted to put this in writing in exchange for the piece of crap tires Ford put on a $45, 000 dollar vehicle and the $1000 bill they are passing along to me.

re: 2014 ford escape - issue with navigation system update
Hello,
First of all, let me just say that I love my Ford Escape. This is the 3rd Ford I've owned...the latter two being Ford Escapes. One of the features I love about my current Ford, is the Navigation System. We use my vehicle when traveling so we really depend on this feature when venturing into parts unknown.
I had received two letters from Ford (May & Oct 2017) recommending that I update my navigation maps for 149.00 w/ free shipping and suggested that I contact my local Ford Dealership (Saginaw Valley Ford) to assist me with this. So I did.
I made an appointment with my dealership for Oct 20, 2017 to have it installed. A few days later, I thought I'd try it out so I entered the address of my appointment location and headed out. All went well until I was nearing my destination but the system didn't alert me...instead, I found the address on my own. Since it was new, I figured it may need some time for satellite alignment so thought I'd test it out next time we visited our daughter, who lives in the Detroit suburbs. All went well until we were approaching her street. We made the turn and were ready to pull into her driveway before the system instructed us to turn onto her street! Also, we noticed that it doesn't list our home as being in the correct township which, if we were out somewhere and needed assistance, how would we know help would be dispatched to the correct location?
I am not happy or satisfied with this new chip ( original A4 replaced with new A8 on 10/20/17), because I paid for something that was recommended by the company I purchased my car from and expected it would be quality...instead, the result I got was having paid a lot of money to have this recommended update performed (149.95 + 45.00 labor = 194.95) only to receive a substandard part that doesn't live up to expectations.
The results I'm after are this...I would like this new chip (A8) removed and my original chip (A4) reinstalled at no extra charge. Also, I would like the amount I paid for the new chip reimbursed to me (149.95). I am not looking to recoup money spent on labor provided on Oct. 20, 2017 or on a future appointment. I just want a navigation system that works...one that I can depend on. Also, since this happened, my dealership, Saginaw Valley Ford, has been purchased by Wilson Ford Lincoln, so it wouldn't be fair to make them incur the cost, as this incident didn't involve them.
I look forward to hearing from you on this matter. Thank you for your time.

2011 ford mustang gt
Hello to whom it may concern,
My name is Michael Watson and i recently purchased a 2011 Ford Mustang GT from John Bleakly Ford in Lithia Springs, GA. I purchased the car 2 years ago with 19k miles and currently it has 67k miles from its day by day use. The maintenance on the car was well kept up and the car was pampered. I have ever receipt document from the engine life span since its been in my possession. One day i noticed a small tick while letting the car warmed up. I did my research and saw that a lot of people are having this same issue. I took the car in to be diagnostic and i was told my engine bearings are coming apart and will need a new engine replace at $8, 800.00 USD. I asked about my extended warranty that i placed on the car and it expired 1 week before the engine started ticking. Isn't that just so ironic? I reached out to Ford corporate and dealt with SUPERVISORS that do not car about my issue and will not help me out in my time of need. I am currently still paying on the car and my notes do not stop. I am currently in school and will have to take a full year off to try to pay for the expensive of a new motor because Ford does not stand behind their product. I am sending this to see if i can reach someone that can help me with my issue. I am in desperate need because my car is a ticking time bomb that could give out at any given moment.

2007 ford edge 3.5l water pump... gross negligence
First, I'm writing this response after a representative from the 800 number hung up on me. I'm asking for a simple resolution from Ford on my issue, and that is a new/remanufactured long block engine be provided by a local dealer for pickup..no labor, no cash no attorney fees. I feel the issue below points to gross Negligence in designing the 3.5l engine and that every engine produced is a ticking time-bomb regardless of the cars age or mileage and consumers are stuck with the large cost of engine rebuilds. I purchased a new ford edge in 2007 from dealer in Columbus, Ohio for the family. After we drove the car it was given to my son for a college car. On the way back to school the car overheated due to failure of the water pump. We had the car towed back to his house and found out that FORD designed an engine where upon failure of the water pump it leaks coolant into the crankshaft so it mixes with the oil and is circulated through the engine. So FORD built an engine that upon failure of the water pump the engine is complexly ruined and needs a complete rebuild. It could happen at 20K miles or 120K miles. Since I have owned many older vehicles water pumps routinely fail on higher mileage vehicles and need replaced. So instead of replacing a $200 part I'm stuck with a total engine rebuild and the associated costs. I'm not an expert but I've worked on enough cars to say this is a ludicrous design and a serious Manufacturing defect. So I have the ford engine apart which shows the damaged water pump and the damage done to the engine after coolant mixed with oil and slugged-up along with pictures. I'm not trying to unreasonable but FORD must take responsibility for their faulty design. Pictures can be provided ….
