Rented a vehicle from Fox Rent A Car at Denver Airport.
I'll bypass the dreadful pick-up service and quality of vehicle provide, except to say they were abysmal.
I was visiting my daughter who was having a post cancer reconstruction surgery. The vehicle was barely used during the week I had it.
Upon returning the vehicle, I was presented an "accident report form". I asked what this was for. "Dog hair". Some hair on a rear chair was pointed at.
Given that no dog entered the vehicle during the period I had it, presumably this was already present. I had completed the "known damage" slip upon collection but didn't think to check interior, lesson learned!
I have been charged $250. This is scandalous, as it had nothing to do with me and what I was shown as "dog hair" could have easily been attended in 5 mins with a vacuum. But obviously, cleaning is not the agenda, creating opportunity for fraudulent claims is the goal.
I should add that I only discovered the $250 charge was for this having had to call to find out. There was no reference to it on the receipt provided.
