Furniture
I purchase two chairs and two nightstands in sept of 2021. Receiving the items took forever. After multiple emails, phone calls and hours wasted, I finally received the items in January of 2022. One year later, one of the chairs that was over $1000, split at the joint. I contacted customer service and they had me fill out a form, complete with pictures, receipts and videos of the damage. The claim was denied because they evidently have a 3 DAY AFTER PURCHASE claim requirement. Which means , after 3 days they do not offer any sort of product assurance. For a $1000 chair to last a year is absurd and their customer service is hard to reach, passive and negligent.
I placed the order for my coffee table
I placed the order for my coffee table and received it well before I expected it! Jason, my salesman followed my order every step of the way updating me with progress and shipping details. When the table was delivered the drivers took great care in uncrating and bringing the table into my home. I was completely satisfied with the service Jason provided, the delivery, and more importantly, I absolutely love my table. I will certainly look to France and Son for future furniture purchases!

I went to France and Son a month ago to see their store and would like to know which collection they have. Because My family would like to buy a huge amount of furniture to fulfill our new house. When we arrived Jason greeted us and he was really helpful. He shows us the collection they have and recommends us the best furniture for us. Fortunately, they also offered us the best prices which made us feel so satisfied. Thank you France and Son! I would definitely back again in future

We just purchased a bed and two Stressless chairs from France and Son. We had a fantastic experience. The chairs were easy as we knew exactly what we wanted but the bed was another story. We spent probably 6 hours in total in the store (over 3 visits), we had 2 different salespeople help us. Both were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient! We will be back!
incompetent
Talked with Peter Jordan over phone and Bonnie on chat re a cancelation of an order that Peter Jordan states was a glitch in the system and that they refunded me. My bank has no record of receiving a refund and it is almost a month since this happened. Yes, I have a case opened but makes no sense to me that "glitch in system canceled the order" but miraculously the refund went through because the invoice shows a refund. If there is a glitch it only applies to the cancelation, not the refund...?! There couldn't be a glitch with that too? And the fact that I didn't receive an email regarding the cancelation, that's not part of the glitch either?! Bonnie and Peter Jordan have no use for your business if they can't help. And I asked for a manager and Peter told me he was the manager. Later in the conversation I asked for his supervisor and he hung up on me. Customer service at its best!
Desired outcome: My bank will take care of this. Just get more competent customer service
Unethical and dishonest retailer.
In November of 2021 we purchased a home and our realtor gifted us 4 outdoor chairs from France & Sons. The home was staged with these chairs and I fell in love with them. The chairs were delivered in May 2022 and set up in our backyard in June. Upon sitting in one of the chairs that I noticed that one of the chairs was splinting/breaking at one nail. I contacted France and Sons and submitted a claim letting them know that the chair was defective. Upon review, they initially offered me a 10% partial refund. I contacted the manufacturer, Four Hands on Instagram for assistance. I believe someone from Four Hands reached out to F&S and only then I was offered a replacement. I was told that the chair was backordered and would not ship for 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks later, I contacted F&S for a status update. They stated that they would not replace the chair but offer a store credit. Here’s my issue and frustration. This is fraudulent behavior. F&S is forcing its customers to repurchase furniture at current retail cost that is much higher than the time of original purchase instead of filing a claim with the manufacturer for a replacement. If we received a defective chair and want to be made whole, isn’t it the responsibility of the retailer to work with the manufacturer instead of processing a store credit? I spent a considerable amount of time on a call with F&S on 9/19/22. First I was told that the chair was not replaced because Four Hands didn’t send a replacement due to it being backordered until Jan 2023. However the website shows it’s available so I asked again, what it the lead time if I repurchase at current retail cost. They then stated that the chair has been discontinued by Four Hands so I can’t reorder the chair. What is the truth? My realtor forwarded me an email from F&S with the store credit of $638 to repurchase the Julian Chair for $806! So is this chair backordered or discontinued? France & Sons is a horrible retailer. Dishonest and unethical. Consumers should look up online reviews before making a purchase.

Not delivered
I ordered on their website and paid also for delivering in November 2021 for an amount of 980$. Both the good I paid for and the shipping cost I paid for where confirmed by email from their company - I have the order number confirmation emails. Since then I have tried to obtain information on status via their customer service email, their online chat, their social media chat and messenger and never got any where. I demand reimbursement or delivery and at least a call

Counterfeit product
I purchased NUVOLA barstools from HD Buttercup but they ran out of stock so I turned to France and Son. This stool was sold and marketed as the same brand, Nuvola. However, after it arrived, it was clear that the stool was counterfeit with terrible loose stitching, fake leather, etc. Shame on France and Son trying to fool customers and then charging them for shipping/restocking. What other fake items are they selling? Buyer beware.

I didn't expect this website was the buggy one as well.
I bought several cool and useful items, was charged and sent a confirmation email.
Several days later they called me and said my items were out of stock and that they are on back order now. I asked when they are going to send, they said they didn't know and advised to wait.
I waited for 2 weeks and contacted them. Same situation, same excuse, same advice.
On my question "maybe you'll refund then?" thry said: no, the order is being processed.
Guys, I really don't care what's going with your system, your process and so on.
You made me wait, made me feel terrible and looted my money. I thing I have the full right to take my money back.
Not to be trusted!
I have bought a chair from www.franceandson.com and was promised free shipping, but when they charged me amount was bigger than I expected. When I contacted France and Son their rep said I was charged the price of the chair + shipping. I reminded about the free shipping they promised me but they said that they never did that. What a scam! Very disappointed with this company, they are not to be trusted!
Seems like a scam
I'm not sure if they have a customer service. I tried to contact them for weeks and never heard anything back. Well, I guess there are some people there since I received the order, but I do not understand why are they ignoring me. I was not happy with my purchase because the product was damaged during the shipment and I wanted to ask them if there was a possibility to get a replacement or a refund. I also tried to call France and Son, but they did not pick up. Seems like a scam, but I'm not sure.
Lots of consumers report being unable to obtain refunds even when they don’t deliver the items. Other times restocking fees are upwards of 60%.
Customer service is nonexistent.
People beware, France and Son is not the best place to waste your money. I have ordered an item from this online shop and the one I received was defective so I contacted them and was offered an exchange. So I sent it back and only after that I received a return shipping bill! I had no idea that I'll have to pay for the shipping, no one told me about that. After they received the item they stopped replying to my messages and I received nothing yet! I'm so disappointed with France and Son!
You should ignore and/dispute their shipping bill since you never approved of it. They’re outright refusing to issue us a full refund.

I purchased bar stool and dining table from www.franceandson.com. It looked really great on the website, but I haven’t seen it in reality. I waited 5 months already and heard some fake excuses. I have no idea what these guys were doing all the time, but the tracking number showed that the order was still in France, so they haven’t sent it. All my attempts to return money and cancel the order immediately failed. Don’t deal with these people.
He refused to change the broken chairs
I ordered 5 dining chairs from www.franceandson.com. I think that the whole order has been defective, because the chairs came apart one after another. I took pics of the chairs and sent them to the seller, but this ### told me that I broke them on purpose, because under their policy they needed to provide new chairs completely for free. He started to yell at me and of course refused to change the chairs. The seller showed his real face, and therefore I wouldn’t advise other people to buy from this seller.
Don't send them orders back – you won't get anything back
Don’t waste money on the website www.franceandson.com. I bought lamp from them, but it was wrong colour and size, as well as it looked a little bit different as on the website. After that I decided to change the lamp, but I needed to pay for the return postage on my won. I paid and wasted only money.
