They offered $500's on a truck worth about $11k.
Told them no way, they pass me from person to another and then right back to the original adjuster. Still not settled or a call back
Return phone calls emails and communication in general is beyond the poor scale.
It is mind blowing at how they are allowed to keep taking premiums from hard working people and then play the waiting game to see if the insured victim will just give up!
My next step is filing a complaint with the Texas State Insurance Department, along with the BBB.
I may be screwed but if I file enough complaints and forewarn others the best I can; then that is a little something.

Rental car they refuse to cover
Fred Loya client as at fault which they have took responsibility for. However my car is going to take 3 weeks to repair. They only want to cover 8 days of rental coverage. My car has been in the shop for 8 days. They barely got approved for the supplemental adjustment. I'm not asking more than to cover my car rental charges. It's their clients fault.

Getting my case settled
On March 4, 2021 I was smashed in between a 72 year old fred loya client and telephone pole (not my fault) and it is now Aug. 5 2023 and I have yet to see any compensation from them. I did find out that they closed my property damage claim without paying for damages and then they were trying to get me to sign a settlement for bodily injury and pain and suffering for only $500 that stated that once I sign that that they are no longer responsible for any damages! Thank God I didnt fall for that one but then the other day I got a call saying that they are sending me a check for the damages to the vehicle, and yes I finally got that check but another set back... Its written out to the wrong person! Like man why cant they just get anything right?

Poor communication and horrible service
I filed a claim right away when your insured backed into me. The insured took fault. However, while filing the claim the rep said it is a total loss and copart would contact me to pick the vehicle up. I quickly told her it was drivable and it was just dented in a bit that could come out. And they hadn't even inspected it yet to be able to determine that. She stated she would mark that I was refusing. After getting through after two hours on the phone with it mostly being about her concern for the insured's vehicle and if they had passengers and their damages, she finally told me who my adjuster was. She also sent me a link to do a photo estimate. I did the photo estimate and I didn't hear anything from the adjuster and called back and left a voicemail. Finally, I got a voicemail back from the adjuster, Laura. When I was able to get a hold of her again, she put me on hold. 30 minutes later, I hung up still on hold. I called right back, and she answered. I informed her she left me on hold and she had nothing to say. I went into the claim asking questions and when I would get the estimate. She said they didn't receive photos. She just asked how I wanted to proceed. She wasn't helpful at all. I told her the inspection needed to be done. I wanted my vehicle repaired. We already had been waiting two weeks. She set me up with an appraiser to inspect at the Pat Booker location in Texas. I went to the appointment to find the office was closed until 2. My appt was for 10:30 am. I called the adjuster after waiting around awhile. I took off the morning from work to get this done after all. She just said that if the office was closed then I would just have to go back later and that they are all independent so if they aren't there maybe to reschedule. I had an appointment! This is all they do for a living. I told her I couldn't run back and forth 30 minutes each way to try and catch an appraiser which is why we had the appt set. She said I could send her photos and send me another link. I did the link again, and emailed her the confirmation showing it was submitted. However, I also mentioned that the link sent was not mine nor the insureds last name and it wasn't the right claim number. She emailed back days later that I had to contact Tara. I contacted Tara. She said they sent the wrong link for the wrong claim to me. I took the pics a third time and emailed them straight to Tara. Tara said Laura the adjuster should be calling me to let me know when I'd get my estimate and how I'd receive it. Almost a week later, and still nothing from Laura. Finally last night I got a hold of someone and they called me someone else's name and said they had the wrong claim open. Seems like quite the occurrence. Always with the wrong claims. She said the claim is with total loss department. I had to ask for the adjuster name and phone number. I told her I was keeping my vehicle and repairing it since it was minor damage with no parts needing replacement. I called the total loss department and left a message for the adjuster last night. I called and left a second voicemail tonight. They fail to respond and communicate and the customer service is horrid. You can easily tell they don't have their calls audited and they have lack of care based on how they speak to customers on the phone. I wouldn't recommend this insurance company to anyone. My dog communicates better. I am hoping this claim is wrapped up soon and Loya insurance can learn to show some compassion and put themselves in their customers shoes.
Desired outcome: Pay me what is owed for diminutive value of the vehicle, give me the estimate, and call me back!!!!
Insurance Adjuster Manuel Rangel
I Have been trying to reach Manuel for months. I have left messages and filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance. He refuses to return calls and it is really simple that he should be able to speak on the phone. Having no insurance is better than this place. I will be contacting the policy holder and letting them know that we will be filing suit against them personal and it is due to Fred Loya ignoring attorneys.
Desired outcome: I expect a return call and my call to be returned/answered until this is over.
Insurance adjuster Gabriel Navarrete
I was in a accident with one of your clients. Gabriel was my assigned adjuster. I never spoke with him and he closed my claim with no reason. I know I called him over 50 times. He did return my call 1 time but I was in a meeting. I called back in least then 20 mins. He did not answer. I reached out to his supervisor as well with no answer or call back. This is unacceptable and bad for business.
Desired outcome: Reopen my claim and fix my car. Clearly your client was at fault.
Claims complaint
I was hit by your insured. He and I both spoke with the adjuster Jessica Porras. She was rude to both of us. She was told by your insured (Hector Morales Jr) and myself (Kioshyi Moses) that it was his fault. The claim number is 78-[protected]. The insured and myself work together and he was texting while driving. He was not on his side of the main drive in the parking lot and I was already backed all the way out. He did not see me and hit the back driver side bumper and knocked my entire bumper off.
The adjuster is saying that the damage should've been on the side and not on the back. This is not true. If your insured was on the wrong side of the main drive, then, her very well would've hit me exactly where he hit me. If he was on his side of the drive (the correct side) then he would've hit my doors. To deny my claim when both parties are literally giving the same information is confusing at best.
Your adjustor has taken issue with me since our first phone call. She has also been repeatedly rude to Hector and myself. She was just rude on the phone call that we just had with her. Hector has tried to call her 5 times after our initial call (because he was told to call from his phone) and she refuses to answer.
Desired outcome: I need my bumper replaced. Jessica Porras needs to apologize to Hector Morales Jr and myself.
Refusing to take payment and a paid "roadside assistance" nobody answers
When I found "fred loya" insurance close to where I live I thought it was very convenient especially they take cash payments which works for me. I had a 6 month policy for one vehicle then after almost a year I added a 2nd vehicle. Same policy for both. When I added my second vehicle I made sure that I would get a roadside assistance. They offer a free roadside at first but I optioned to get a paid membership and paid extra for additional services. Unfortunately my 2nd vehicle blew the water pump which left me stranded and I called the roadside which I got no answer. Called again still no answer, I kept on calling every 15 minutes up until I finally gave up and just called a tow truck which cost me $145. I told their office in north hollywood and I was told they will look into it.. Never got back to me about it, instead they were more focused on my renewal which was half a month away. It was annoying, I get called to be reminded. I never missed a renewal before. Instead of wanting to just pay it I got irritated by the constant reminder, and the issue I told them I never got an answer. Technically they owe me something but I was not taken seriously. Finally I decided maybe I should just give it a chance and continue having fred loya as my insurance but when I went to pay they told me that they dont accept cash and even had the attitude to say that they never rake cash.. And for me to go get a cashiers check.. I been paying in cash since day 1 and now all of the sudden it changes because according to the agent which came up with a new reason that they had many burglaries lately thats why they dont take the cash.. Omg.. How is that my problem if you cannot hide your money safely or call for it to get picked up by an armored truck.. It was total bs. Why are you refusing american currency? You are suppose to accept it as form of payment in this country. Anyway now for some reason I try to get insurance online or get a quote I get refered to an agent which for quotes me ridiculous rates.. I had no accidents, no dui in last 10 yrs, no moving violations but only parking tickets. I really believe these insurance companies are all networked to work together and in my case did something on my history or noted something under my name just to make it difficult for me. Since my dui in 2012 I have been a great driver, no accidents so far.. I am proud to claim it. But being a good driver does not matter because insurance companies like fred loya has that power to make your driving situation difficult. As far as in my case, there is no reason why I get a very high rate on my car insurance. I can only imagine what awaits my driving experience once they inform the dmv. Thanks fred loya for this, I wish you were a person so I can shake your hand personally.

On April 29, 2023 I got liability insurance for 2 cars, also I have explained to the person that sold me the insurance that one of the cars was rental and I was in the process to buy a new car. I have pre-paid for 6 months the amount of $876.00, they charged to my credit card immediately
On Friday May 12, 2023, I have purchased a new car and I have called to them to add this new car to a policy and updated it the most unprofessional way to handle they hand up on me, they lied and make different histories to justify they incompetence to handle this new enrollment. The Dealer will not allow me to drive the new car without cover. The worse insurance is FRED LOYA INSURANCE, I have canceled my insurance with them immediately and when I have asked for the refund of my money they told me that will take 20 to 30 days for they to refund my money, this is unacceptable they are in violation of the customers affairs they should refunded my money immediately when I have canceled me insurance on May 12, 2023
The worse experienced please avid this Insurance that is being running busines very unprofessional they only care for the money not for your protection choose a better and well know insurance, let this insurance to go out of business especially that they are targeting low income Hispanics

i am trying to get some help with a claim that was filed on 07/28/2022. i have been calling just about every day trying to get the status of the claim. i have been switched to different adjusters. one of them actually returned my call one time only, after i didn't hear back from that person. I was told that they were ready to pay the claim and all i needed to do was to send them a repo affidavit which i did...didn't hear back from them again. It is very frustrating to me to have to wait on July 6, 2023, it will be one year since the claim was filed. My vehicle was damaged by Fred Loyal's insured client, they took forever to accept responsibility although their insured admitted fault on day of accident and never wavered from it. My car was repaired after fighting for approval of repairs which utilized used parts as they indicated was allowed by law. The problem is there was a supplement done on additional needed repair which body shop could not do. At time adjuster went to body shop damage was noted and adjuster informed body shop owner to have estimate from dealership so supplement check could be issued to me. I submitted estimate for supplement and so did body shop. I submitted estimate at least three times as requested by various members of claim representers. I received several assurances check was enroute to excuses that claims adjuster was no longer with company. On 12/19/2022 @2:50 pm I had a car accident. I call the claims department and a report to fred loya ins. They told me the adjuster will call me back the next day. His name is manuel rangel as of now it's been ten days and no one has tried to call me back. There has been no movement on this claim and we are been ignored by fred loya ins. Every attempt to reach out and an answer has been met with rude and dismissive agents that claim they will get back to us. We are without a vehicle and are not in a position to replace it ourselves. Our coverage insurance through fred loya hasn't paid out a dime including the towing fees. Going to the fred loya ins website to see the reviews now has me worried that we won't ever see a dime every single review is 1 star and people are taking the time to state their own bad experiences. No Settlement on Claim
Upon filing our claim on 10/14/22, this insurance company tried to offer a substantially low-ball figure to settle. The insurance agent Juan Cantu advised that we get a 3rd party appraiser to reevaluate the cost of replacement. After doing so and submitting all the necessary paperwork and paying a substantial amount. There has been no movement on this claim, and We are being ignored by Fred Loya Insurance. Every attempt to reach out and get an answer has been met with rude and dismissive agents that claim they will "Get back to us. We are without a vehicle and are not in position to replace it ourselves. Our "FULL COVERAGE " Insurance through Fred Loya hasn't paid out a dime including the towing fees. Going to the Fred Loya Website to see the reviews now has me worried that we won't ever see a dime. EVERY single review is 1 star and people are taking the time to state their own bad experiences.
Desired outcome: .We would Like Fred Loya to Expedite this claim. Our appraiser and their appraiser have not even talked yet.
Coverage and unsavory tactics and adjusters
On or about September 14th Upon starting a claim and the body shop finding additional damage Loya would only estimate the damage at 1178 and the vehicle was accruing storage fees they would go on to allege that 500 dollars would only be authorized after the body shop sent a bill and November 10 told me I'm liable for all storage cost associated with the claim.
I spoke to Christy Martinez who informed me that if I was to pay after November 3rd any fees that accrued as a result of storage Spoke to an adjuster on November 10th who said she did not see this conversation as all conversations are recorded the vehicle had been at body shop from September 26th and currently is being held while Fred Loya has been very deceptive and basically believes that this what they tell everyone who has no drive to pursue a claim against them
Desired outcome: To have this company liable for the storage fees that accrued before I exercise my opinion to retain my vehicle.
Delayed insurance claim disbursement process
I was rear-ended by a Fred Loya customer on 08/08/22 and I made an insurance claim with Fred Loya on 08/09/22. I have not spoken with the assigned adjuster until this day, which is 09/21/22. I took my vehicle in to a location for an adjuster to review damages. I called several times and was told that they were waiting to hear from their customer in order to determine responsibility. After a week of calling my assigned adjuster with no call back, I requested to speak with a supervisor. I spoke with a supervisor, who told me to send over the pics I had from the accident and they should be able to determine responsibility from the photos. After a week of waiting to hear back, I followed up with Fred Loya just to be informed that they are still waiting to speak with their customer to determine liability. I asked to speak back to supervisor that I had originally sent the photos to but conveniently, he wasn't available. It has now been 3 weeks, I spoke with another supervisor who advised me to send the photos over again, I complied. I called back in about 3 business days to be told that they were still reviewing the photos, upon requesting to speak with another supervisor, I was then assured by a rep that they would get with a supervisor to determine liability since it was obvious that I was rear-ended and not at fault. At this time, my car has been in the shop for over a week and not to mention, I was told that they would not pay for any rental until they determine liability. I received a call the next day to be told that they conveniently spoke with their customer and have determined 100% liability and would be sending out a check for the damages that their adjuster assessed after the check is approved. The check was finally approved to be sent out on 09/06/22, now my car has been in the shop for over 2 weeks and they would have to submit for any additional damages to be approved from the repair shop to submit any additional funds for repair. I was at the point that I was spending more money on transportation and would do better just using that money to get my car repaired and out of the shop. I instructed the repair shop to repair my car and I picked up my car from the shop and paid out of pocket since I still have not received the original claim check that was sent out to me on 09/06/22. I called Fred Loya on 09/17/22 only to find out that the claims check that I had been waiting on has been sent to a address in Frisco,TX, even after I verified the mailing address with the rep who told me the check was being sent out. I've never lived in Frisco, and was told by a rep that she don't know where that address came from and then apologized. I then asked if the check can be expedited since this was their fault and very inconvenient for me, I was told that they could not expedite and the request to reissue the check was submitted on 09/19/22 and would take up to 15 business days for me to receive the original claims check. This process has been a nightmare and would NEVER refer anyone to Fred Loya and if I am ever involved in an accident with one of their customers, I will most definitely get a lawyer and fight for all and any compensation for the inconvenience and stress they cause.
Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for the difference that I had to pay to get my vehicle out of the shop and an apology for such terrible service.

My car was hit by someone who UNFORTUNATELY had Fred Loya as their insurance provider. He failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn. I called the police to make a report of the accident. The driver admitted that it was his fault, he was given a citation and the police report clearly showed he was at fault. Three weeks later I am still trying to get my car fixed. I called my adjuster numerous times and left numerous voicemails but to no avail. He never called me back. I finally got a hold of someone from Fred Loya only to have her be rude and stated that there is no proof that the accident was caused by their policy holder. I told her I had the police report to prove what happened. She dismissed it and said they needed a statement from the man who hit me. According to her, they have been trying to call him but he never answers his phone. So I asked her what if he never answers his phone, how am I going to get my car fixed? She said if he never answers his phone, they cannot prove the accident was his fault so I will never get my car fixed. I re-iterated to her the police report is proof of what happened. I asked for an email to send the report. She gave me one but when I tried to submit it, it came back as "undeliverable user unknown". Fred Loya is VERY SHADY and UNPROFESSIONAL! How do they get away with this kind of illegal business practices?!

I have been trying to submit a supplement for a month now. The phone number provided never answers and there is no voice mail available. I've called the adjuster left several messages and still no reply.. Give us no choice but to report you guys. This buissnes yall run is not proffesional at all and it is illegal not to cover any cost of your customers accident.

Nonresponsive Insurance Company
We had the bad fortune of being in a car accident with an
individual with Fred Loya insurance. This person crossed a stop
sign and hit our car in the middle of intersection, where we had
the right of the way. Fred Loya adjusters agreed that their
insured policy holder was at fault. They towed away our car,
indicated that our car was totaled, but offered us $8K below the
cost of replacing the car. This after spending over 40 hours on
calling them and providing evidence and police report. Once
they made this offer, they refuse to respond to our emails or
phone calls. We have called many times and left message,
asking them to return our car and let us deal with the motorist
at fault in court. Avoid doing business with this insurer at all
costs. You may get a better quote on your insurance but you
will come to regret it once you need the actual insurance. This
insurance company preys on customers. The Feds need to take
a careful look at the Ponzy scam this company runs!
