they were super nice and did a great job
they were super nice and did a great job. they even took pics before and after with my phone and it looks so much better now. i told my neighbor and they're coming over to do theirs today.
This company is the bomb!
This company is the bomb! Big thanks to John Dean and Devon for being so cool and professional. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate their service. Seriously, don't waste your time reading other reviews, just go with these guys. From the quote to when they bounced, I was totally happy with everything. 100% satisfied, baby!
I went to a sesh on vapor barrier for my crib and Freedom vapor was the company I hit up
I went to a sesh on vapor barrier for my crib and Freedom vapor was the company I hit up. We set up a time for 10am on 8-9 but they straight up didn't show. This company ain't reliable at all, so I wouldn't recommend them. To make matters worse, when I called the office, the person who answered just laughed at me. Not cool.
I red the reviews here and we went with FVB cuz they had a good price and payment plan
I red the reviews here and we went with FVB cuz they had a good price and payment plan. At first, it felt like we were having the same problems that other peeps were talkin' about on this site. When the crew bounced, the boss told me to call the office to set up another crew to finish the job. Instead of callin', I wrote a letter explainin' all my worries. FVB got back to me quick and fixed all my concerns.
They came and did my bedroom floor
They came and did my bedroom floor. They cut some wires and a floor joist that was warped. The new joist was a 2x4 instead of a 2x6 like the old one. The floor still had a bow in it when they finished. They tried to level it but now two doors won't shut. They kept trying to fix it but said they had to leave because they can't spend too much time on one job. Now my floor is super noisy and my trailer is unlevel. I wouldn't suggest them.
I had FVB come out to fix the insulation under my house
I had FVB come out to fix the insulation under my house. They crimped my internet cable and didn't wanna fix it. They were rude and unprofessional. They never checked if the issue was fixed. I wouldn't recommend them. The owner sent a photographer without my permission, but I sent him away.
I didn't get no work done but the lady I talked to was not very professional
I didn't get no work done but the lady I talked to was not very professional. The guy who came out from under the house showed me some pics and said we needed to strip off the old barrier, rip out the floor insulation, and put in new stuff. They said it would cost around $7000. Then they said they would give me a written estimate the next day. But they didn't call me back so I called them. The person who answered said the inspector always gives the quote to the homeowner. Then we got cut off so I called again. This time they said they didn't want the job because they couldn't guarantee their work because of space problems. Like my house is the only one in Florida that's not floating in the air. They should just tell the truth instead of messing around. Not very professional.
We got an estimate from Freedom Vapor Barrier & two other companies
We got an estimate from Freedom Vapor Barrier & two other companies. The Freedom guy said our vapor barrier was old (35yo) & very fragile. They gave us an estimate that seemed fair to replace the whole thing. Another company gave us an estimate that was only 1/4 of Freedom's to patch a small area that had fallen down. We thought it was smart to replace the whole thing so we called Freedom again for a new estimate & it was $2000 more than before. The third company we called was about $1000 more. We went with Freedom Vapor Barrier and we're happy we did. They installed our vapor barrier on 12/29. The workers were nice & cleaned up after themselves. The boss told us our shower drain wasn't connected to anything so the water was just pouring down into the vapor barrier and caused it to fail. He said it was an easy fix but we decided to have a plumber do it. The boss said he'd leave an open flap so the plumber could fix it. When it was done, he said to call Freedom & they'd come back to tack up the flap. They came back to finish the job a couple days after we called to say our shower drain was fixed. We were very happy with the work.
I'm real happy with this company and my whole experience
I'm real happy with this company and my whole experience. I had 3 estimates from 3 different companies and what made my decision was not just the better price on the job but the estimator Seth is really what made my decision. Seth really took the time to explain and teach me everything I needed to know about caring for underneath the mobile home. He went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered and I made the right decisions. I really appreciated him. Danny and his crew came to do the work. Underneath the mobile home was a disaster. There was leaking sewer pipes and garbage everywhere. What they did under the mobile home was amazing. They completely cleaned, and removed everything that didn't belong there. I had a vapor barrier installed, anchors and made the home more secure by adding more support underneath. Danny was patient, through, kind, and showed me that there are great workers that care about there quality of work. I wish I could find more workers like this! I haven't had such great experiences since my move down to Florida with companies that provide home repair services. I have been over charged, taken advantage of my lack of knowledge in certain areas. But this company took care of me and really impressed me! I highly recommend Freedom Vapor Barrier and their services. Thank you so much for everything!
I had a really bad experience with Freedom Vapor Barrier, LLC
I had a really bad experience with Freedom Vapor Barrier, LLC. John came to my house to check out the vapor barrier under my house. They gave me a quote for $2000 to do some stuff like remove damaged and moist insulation, re-tighten anchors if needed, replace broken or missing shims, and re-strap duct fittings. I decided to cancel the appointment a week before because I was going to be out of town and I wanted to be there while they did the repairs per contract. But they came and did the repairs anyway even though I called the week before to cancel. They put foam insulation around the plumbing pipes and fittings, even though the contract said they weren't supposed to do that. They called me on Friday wanting payment for work they said they did on Wednesday. I came home on Sunday and saw that the work was incomplete and done wrong. I called their office and they said they never got my call to cancel. I sent them proof of my phone call, but they still said it didn't matter because of the contract I signed when they gave me the estimate. They even threatened to rip it all out if I didn't pay. We agreed to settle for 90% of the work that was done and not done. I agreed because I just wanted this horrible experience to be over. I feel like they took advantage of me because they knew I would be out of town. This company is not trustworthy and their work is not up to standard. I have to call another company to finish the incomplete work and have a plumber tear out what they sealed at my own expense.
This company is a total disaster
This company is a total disaster. I would give them negative 10 stars if I could. I hired them to do some work on my mobile home, but it turned out to be a complete nightmare. They promised to send me a video before starting the work, but they never did. When they finally came to do the work, it only took them about 3 hours. A week later, I noticed that my bill had gone up from $45 to $125. I decided to check their work with my camera and what I found was shocking. They used duct tape to seal the vents, instead of using mastic like they were supposed to. The insulation was also still the old insulation with new insulation just tucked around it. They didn't even lift the duct work off the ground like they promised. They just shoved it into the vents without using any collars or foil tape. As a result, the ducts blew out and I've been cooling under my mobile home since day one. I've been waiting for 6 months for them to fix it, but they keep making it worse. They sent a truck with no materials and only used more duct tape. I've had to rent a cooler for the last 3 months at a cost of $1,600. Tomorrow they are supposed to come out and redo the entire system. I paid them $3,000 and I'm not happy with their work at all.

Phil and his crew were very professional and informative throughout the entire process from the free estimate to the cleanup of tearing out the old rotted Buffalo board and insulation, then installing the new insulation and vapor barrier under my mom's vacation home in Boynton Beach. Very quick and reasonably priced.
Employees lacked in training
Employees lacked in training. I had to show them how to lay laminate floor tile in correct pattern. They broke a water line, disconnected power to a pole light, left refrigerator unplugged when they left work, sawed lumber on the front entrance and left scraps and sawdust to track into the house! In addition, several of my personal hand tools disappeared while they were working here. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

I got pics of the work that was "done" and it's not good
I got pics of the work that was "done" and it's not good. I got an inspector and now I gotta pay another company 2900 bucks to fix the mess. Some parts are okay but most of it is held together with DUCT Tape. That's not gonna work when it rains. They said they'd fix the floor after our plumbers were done but turns out they didn't put foam under the house, didn't fix the tie downs or shims like they were supposed to. And to top it off, the ductwork is still on the ground and the dryer vent is clogged. I want my money back so I can get someone who knows what they're doing to fix it.
I had Freedom Vapor Barrier, LLC come out to my home on December 9th for a quote on water damage
I had Freedom Vapor Barrier, LLC come out to my home on December 9th for a quote on water damage. They were supposed to "rip out what's left... (reinstall) (8 batts) (on the) back side of house... lift & seal ducts... foam pipes." They were also supposed to provide a Lifetime Threaded Vapor Barrier Guaranty. They were scheduled to come out on December 14th, but I think it got rescheduled. They finally came out to install, and they were in and out within 45 minutes. I didn't realize I had to watch them to make sure they did the work correctly. They didn't do the work correctly, and we didn't find out until we went to renovate our bathroom. They left all the soaking wet insulation and stuffed new insulation above and below it. The vapor barrier wasn't even attached properly and was hanging in some areas. We called them to come out and fix it, but I had to personally go under the house and call the owners three separate times to complain. I left an honest review on Google with pictures to support my claims. They had to come back three separate times after telling me they were "done." We called today to request a receipt for the services we paid for in full, but the owner, Rob, is refusing to give us a receipt unless I remove my review because "it's causing them issues." We need the receipt for our home insurance claim and for tax purposes at the end of the year. I've tried contacting them numerous times today, but I haven't received the receipt yet. They even hung up on me when I tried to discuss getting the receipt.

uld be there to take photos. But I never received any photos. Overall, I am very disappointed with Freedom Vapor Barrier, LLC. They did not do the work they promised and their customer service was terrible. I would not recommend them to anyone.
