The store provided me with the rain cheque for compliments large eggs 30 pack. I came to the store on September 3, 2021 and those eggs were not available. So, the teller told me to call on Monday, because she said they get new stock of eggs on Monday. I called today and a worker told me that the compliments 30 pack large eggs were available. When I came to the store the eggs were still not available. I spoke to the store manager and asked her if she can substitute them with a different brand, however she refused. So, I spoke to the owner of the store and he told me they only ordered the compliments 30 pack medium eggs, but even those ones were not on the shelf. I asked the owner if he was able to substitute them with a different brand of the same size eggs which were also a 30 pack but he refused. He proceeded to tell me that he is not sure if he will be ordered the compliments 30 pack large eggs before my rain check expires. That to me is very frustrating and makes it a complete waste of my time to have to keep coming back to the same store in hope of availabilty.
I am dissapointed of how the owner couldnt take responsibility for the lie the worker had told me over the phone, which is the reason for my complaint. The owner Paul acted very unproffessionally towards me and has personally ruined my experience of ever coming back to this FreshCo location.
Desired outcome: Apology and 2 Free 30 pack of large eggs for waste of my time.
