large ice cream sundae
To whom this may concern,
I went to the Friendly's last night in Marlton on Route 70 to pick up ice cream for my mom and I. While there, I waited over 20 minutes before even receiving my ice cream, which I was okay with until I got home and my order was not even right. For the one I ordered butter crunch and they have me butter pecan. Also, the entire time I kept getting gigantic ice chunks in my ice cream. I never have an issue at Friendly's and my orders are always correct but last night was just disappointing and not even enjoyable to eat that I wound up throwing it out. If I am going to spend $15 on ice cream, I would like for it to be correct and also not have a ton of ice chunks throughout it. If someone could please get back to me on this, that would be great.

friendly’s fudge swirl ice cream
I was eating a bowl of ice cream this evening when biting into my Friendly's Fudge Swirl Ice Cream I bit into something chewy. Upon removing it from my mouth and examining it I recognized it as a fly! I have trusted and enjoyed the Friendlys brand for several decades. This experience was absolutely appalling and disgusting. I would like a response and an answer concerning production, product control and how something like this could occur!

So for the first time I did pick up. Horrible !so unorganized i waited 20 min past my time because we had to sit in a huge line waiting for people to order their ice cream and food. No one asked if anyone had a pick up order they just stopped taking orders before ours while the whole time we waited in line our damn ice cream was sitting in the freezer! I had to wait for people to get their FOOD they just ordered before we even got to pay for our ice cream. I said something to the cashier and I didnt even get an apology! If this is how your online orders are you seriously should rethink it also our ice cream was melted. Thanks for the disappointment and waste of money friendlys!
friendly's coconut ice cream
Good afternoon!
I purchase Friendly's ice cream, especially the upscale caramel and vanilla. That and the orange sherbet and vanilla are my favorites.
Yesterday I purchased your Coconut Ice Cream and had some last night.
I'm sorry, but it was horrible. There was not one piece of coconut in that ice cream!
I could have eaten vanilla and not know any difference.
I loveee a coconut and pineapple ice cream and on rare occasion will spend the extra money for that flavor by Hagen Daus. I thought I could purchase some pineapple and add it to your coconut ice cream. Not going to spend that extra money because of the quality of the coconut ice cream.
If I may, I would like to make a suggestion for a new flavor. If you mix pineapple and mandarin oranges, it is wonderful. I like to come up with new flavors and this is one that I think would be a good seller. Real ingredients only, please!
I will spend the extra money if it is a good quality product.
If you could mix coconut and pineapple or pineapple and mandarin oranges, I will be a happy customer!

online ordering
Did an online order in your Falmouth ma store. Went to pick it up and left with my food and when I got home I realized I did not get an item I ordered. Immediately called the store and explained that I did not get one of my items and was told I didn't get it because they didn't sell that particular product in that store and they were sorry. Ok so you didn't tell me this when I came to pick up my order? I was told it was the customers job to make sure all my items were in my bags. I was not happy at all with that answer and asked if I could atleast get my money back for that one item and was told I could not get a refund until the following day when a supervisor was there. Ok fine. Hung up went to eat my food and I ordered a cheese burger with bacon and an onion ring on it? Don't remember what it was called and a side salad and an order of onion rings. Mind you I go to friendlys because of the side salad as I love the ranch dressing you use, I open my salad box and it wasn't the side salad it was a southwestern salad? Also went to eat my burger and I had no French fries which states it comes with! I did get the onion rings. I called the store back pretty heated at this time and told them what else had happened and was told sorry there's nothing we can do. We can not refund your money because for all we know you ate your food and are trying to get more free!

on 5.13.18 we visited the friendly on berlin-cross keys rd in sicklerville nj we entered and were seated we sat for 15 minutes before we had to ask if table had a waitress. once she came to our table took drink orders came back with 2 kids drinks soda with no straw and no water which I requested took 10 minutes before she came back was standing in back talking to other employees I requested an ice cream sundae which was made and sat or counter for 10 minutes had to refresh whipped creme which was melted other orders place no silverware given we had 2 separeate orders and checks given were both the same one had to ask for correct checks We go to friendly alot but not sure I will ever go back to that one it was disgraceful how staff was standing around talking and not acknowledging customers but I will say that there were 2 male waiters who were doing an excellent job in their sections. could not even find a manager to complain to

Went to dinner on 5/5/18 was seated and 20 minutes later, still had not received menus or asked what we wanted to drink. When waitress did approach our table she had an attitude and acted like we were an inconvenience to her. When we got our food another 40 minutes later, it was cold and one was missing the main part of the entree. Spoke with manager, who didn't see any issues with our visit. Needless to say, we will never go back. Others tried to warn us. But we didn't listen to them. So maybe we are to blame. It's sad that our local Friendly restaurant has gone downhill like it has; used to be a great place. Not anymore.

During my visit at Friendlys i witnessed the worse management possible. i'm not sure if this was the assistant manager or restaurant manager but either way, he did a terrible job. He sat a table for 30 minutes talking to a few waitresses, which i found very unprofessional. Not only was he chatting it up with the waitresses, he had one waiter running around doing everything and yelled at him for going too slow but I believe he was doing a great job and had great customer service even with the amount of pressure that was on him. It wasn't busy at the time so you'd think the food would be out quicker and if you as a manager or a fellow waiter see food lying on the counter top wouldn't you go find out who's food it is and bring it to them, saying sorry for the wait, they are supposed to be coworkers and if you see a fellow waiter struggling help them out instead of bad mouthing the work he's doing to the manager. My mother had to complain to the manager who just stared at her and then went into the kitchen to tell the waiters what she had said to him, another red flag. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be eating in this establishment anymore. Thank you for your time.

I had a horrible experience at friendlys on rubber avenue in naugatuck, ct. We go there atleast 2x a month, but this time the food was under cooked, the waitress was horrible! She dropped utensils on the floor and picked them back up for us to use! Service was horrible, I had to wait 25 minutes to get new freshly cooked chicken since mine was pink (raw), my family had already finished eating by the time I got my food. I was not happy!

I was in the Friendlys in north haven CT and witnessed a manager named Erik being rude to my daughter that works there, he was yelling at her for doing her job and he was rude to other customers, he also tried holding my daughters checks when she has bills to pay and I don't appreciate the service I got or the way he treats my daughter, if he keeps disrespecting my daughter I will go further then just complaining, this is unacceptable and imperfessional, I will no longer be eating at Friendlys in north haven

The service was terrible we had to get our own silverware from a nearby table the floors were disgusting crumbs, food, napkins etc. We asked several times for clean up no one came. They forgot our cheese sauce I had to find my waitress to remind her. No one ever came back to ask how everything was, waitresses weren't uniformed or well spoken the managers attire was sloppy. This was the worst experience at a restaurant and it was my father's birthday.

I ordered two separate meals from the Williston location on Saturday night. When we walked in to pick up our orders no one greeted us but 3 different people looked at us and still said nothing. They were all giving attitude to each other and was very in professional and rude. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and when I got home it was cheese. Very upset and annoyed. It was also very cold when we got it and very gross we did not even eat it. I would like a refund for the horrible service and not even getting what I ordered.
french fries
I just ordered A burger and a super melt online from my local friendly s. As I'm sure you know these 2 meals come with fries. They put the fries in a separate bag that's was closed, they said to keep them warmer which I appreciated. But when I got to the car and opened the bag the enclosed picture is what I found.
Is this (see attached picture) what friendlys considers a full fry? Why have such large containers if you are only going to half fill them?
The food was delicious and so are the fries just really disappointed in the amount of fries.

I placed an online order last night, January 25th, 2018, that was to be ready at 6:45 PM.
I got to the Seekonk, MA restaurant with my 2 kids to pick up our order. ALL of the employees were standing around, laughing, with their phones out. One girl finally made eye contact while standing near the food counter, and just stared for a bit. As she was still laughing she asked can I help you? I told her about my order, she asked "Nicole" as she picked up a slip from a take out container, I said yes, she said "you already paid"? I said yes, so she went to the back, I assumed getting our order together. I was wrong! At 7:23 I decided to sit inside with my 2 young kids so they could sit at the counter while we waited for someone to acknowledge us. After they all sang happy birthday to another customer, a girl asked if someone has helped me. I said no and if that was our food that should've been ready 45 minutes ago just sitting out, I didn't want it. A man made us new fries, and got the food together. I asked if he was a manager, he said yes, he just transferred from another store. I told him every single time we go there it's the same thing. Young employees who don't care about customers. This is why I stopped going there. Between the rude employees who want to stand around and play on their phones rather than do their job, and the food that has lost quality, and an item always missing from our order, I always left annoyed instead of enjoying a nice night with my family. I am not willing to spend money on a company like this. My 10 year old has been asking to go, so I said I would give them one more chance. As we sat 45 minutes last night waiting for someone to help us with an order that was already placed and paid for, I told my daughter, NEVER AGAIN. There are plenty of other places that appreciate my business and don't treat me like I'm bothering them. Another disappointed customer lost.

dangerous dining experience
I am concerned about an issue at your restaurant this evening. I watched 3 people slip and fall on the wet entry way and not one of your employees seemed to care. I got up and told the man at the counter that something needed to be done and he was extremely rude and said "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him he needed to put rugs down and I was trying to help avoid anyone else falling and prevent a law suit. He blamed the third victim, a young boy, since he was running. The first two victims were not running. One was a young boy about 3 yrs old and the second one was an older woman. I was shocked and very disappointed in every employees lack of reaction. Several waitresses walked right past the older woman who was down on her knees and couldnt get back up. The man behind the counter just sat and watched her, finally offering her some assistance. She seemed to be limping on her way out the door and they STILL did nothing. The fact that many customers were watching this and not a single worker was doing anything was shameful, to say the least. The man that I was arguing with was giving me dirty looks and said he was doing the best he could. I told he him was doing NOTHING and he then moved a few rugs over the very slippery tile floor. Everyone seated in my dining area was upset. Your staff failed horribly and especially the balding man with glasses, whom I had the displeasure of talking to, was condescending and worthless. You need to check how you are training people. I will never go back. I am sure many others feel the same. This was restaurant # 7792 The incident was on 1/12/18 at 8:00 PM
terrible food and service
On Wednesday December 27th at 1030 am a fellow co worker called to place a lunch order but we couldn't because it wasn't 11am yet. So we place an order exactly at 11 said it would be ready by 1136am. We got there at 1140am and our food was not ready when we got there. The person gave us the wrong soup and told us to keep it then they never put condiments with our orders chargered us for extra bacon and never revived it. We left at 12 20 with our food, by the time we got back to work everyone's breaks were backed up and our food was cold. We are very disappointed and we will no longer order from friendly! Cearley what a waste of $48.66!

Glassboro friendly' s was disgusting it was filthy. Trash everywhere it smelled like feces and urine throughout the restaurant. Our server was very nice but our food was ice cold it was a awful experience we observed the cooks not washing there hands they did not have gloves on this was on a friday night I will never step foot in this resturant again first and last time

We have always enjoyed going to the Danville, Pa FRIENDLYS RESTAURANT. The service was always prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The food was good and reasonably priced. However our last couple of visits have been very disappointing. The staff has completely changed and the food took forever to receive and was of poor quality. I can only assume that if this is a franchise business. The new owners don't know what they're doing

On December 9, 2017, I purchased a 6 pack box of Friendly's Friendwich ice cream sandwiches from Geresbeck's grocery store in Dundalk, Maryland. I opened the box to get one out, and to my huge surprise I observed that the ice cream sandwiches were not in any type of wrapping what-so-ever. They not only weren't wrapped, but also appeared as if they had all melted together, to form one big blob of ice cream and the outside chocolate wafers. It looked as if pieces or bites were taken from this "blob". The 6 ice cream sandwiches were basically just mushed together, having been formed into the shape of the cardboard box they were packaged in. They also appeared to have been frozen, then melted, before being frozen again. This was the most odd thing I have ever seen in reference to packaged food purchased in a grocery store. My family frequently purchases these particular ice cream sandwiches, and have never had this type of issue. I would like to have this resolved by requesting either a refund, or a replacement of the item. I am unfortunately a bit apprehensive about having the product replaced, because quite frankly, seeing what I saw in that box turned my stomach, and caused me to be leary of ever buying that item again. Or, for that matter, any Friendlys item available.

I came in to have ice cream with my family to find out we have been given dirty dishes to eat off of I will not be returning we ask for the manager and the waitress told us that wasn't necessary the kitchen never cleans the dishes right this is uncalled for in a restaurant not to mention there was very few people they would make more business if they would do right and clean I just want a refund I will not be returning to eat any icecream
