Received call at work from 414-376-xxxx (Milwaukee, WI)
Received call at work from 414-376-xxxx (Milwaukee, WI). Caller advised he was calling on a personal matter and needed my personal information to ensure he had the right person. I refused to provide any personal information explaining this could be a scan for all I know. Rather, I asked him to identify what company he was calling from and on behalf of who. He refused to provide anything other than FrontLine Asset Strategy. I explained to him that I am represented by an attorney and I offered to provide him with my Attorney information. He refused to accept this. I then explained because I am represented, all future communication should be done so through my attorney. He refused again. Given the location of this company (Roseville, MN) and the fact that the call came from Milwaukee, WI -- I'm skeptical that this was a legitimate call. And if it was, this is a horrible business practice. I certainly can appreciate that my verifying demographic data is for my protection, but likewise, I am needed him to provide information so that I knew this was a legitimate call.

I have made several attempts to resolve this debt
I have made several attempts to resolve this debt. I have not been able to reach anybody at their offices therefore they need to remove the collections from my credit report.
This business is contacting me about a debt that I do not owe. They are practicing malicious debt collecting practices and I wish for them to cease from contacting me. They are claiming a debt that doesn't appear on my credit report or appears as a judgement against me from Lexis Nexus records.
I received documents stating a collection that was purchased from LVNV Funding, LLC with the original creditor Credit One Bank. I made payment on 07.27.20 in the amount of $644.74. As of this date I have not received a response on the letter I requested showing that my debt was cleared. I advised the call center employee of my new address, upon going to the website to verify payment I noticed my address was incorrect, and along with five new accounts added totaling $4,018.63. I have no knowledge of the accounts, and has asked for documents to review via email and voicemail. When I spoke with her previously the call center employee advised me I had a JCPenny bill from 2008, after the fact when I paid the Credit One Bank account with their company. My issue is, if I had past accounts as they say, why was I not notified from the notice I received in the mail back on March 13. Also, the company had my previous address and she was calling out a address I lived back in 2003. This company is trying to place debt for collection with my name that does not have anything to do with me and I would like documentation as I asked to review. Thank you in advance for your time on this matter

My son, ***, Jr, has a student loan which I am the co-signer with Citizen's Bank/First Mark. In March he fell behind in payments but by May he had caught himself up. A company called Front Line Asset Strategies began calling him regarding the payments which fell behind however after speaking with Citizens they tell me that they never turned him over to a collections agency of any kind. This agency also called by ex-husband (his father) and my current husband (his step-father), two individuals who are not on this loan. They call and do not state the reason for their call or who they are until they ask for his SS#. I know that both of these things are illegal and they were never made part of this loan per Citizens representative. They are extremely rude on top of everything. THIS HAS TO STOP! I want to 1. make sure they do not call any other person including my son and myself, and 2. I want any mis-information removed from my credit IMMEDIATELY!
I have called this business for over a week with no one answering the phones...if this is due to covid-19...there is no recording advising such...if there is a problem of some other nature again there is no recording advising...each time I call I get a voicemail recording saying "Hold on you will be transferred to the next representative" repeatedly saying this until recording finally tells caller to leave their message. Today is June 1 and I thought for sure I would be able to get through to a live person. Then I noticed the 'live chat' button so I clicked on it and this is the conversation that ensued: ?
