I deposited $3000 to do crypto trading on FTX US site. over the following 3 months my trading yielded the account to over $12,000. When I went to withdraw my funds, I was told I had to pay taxes to a wallet they provided. The taxes was approximately $1800. After the taxes were paid, they said due to me paying late, I had to pay another $1800 before they release my funds. I attempted to discuss the matter with them and requested they take the taxes from the trading account. They refused to respond. I advised them to release my initial $3000 which again they refused to do. I could retain the rest of the communication between myself and this company as it was on their app which is no longer active.

I attempted to withdraw the money into my *** account.The appt kept shutting off and I clicked deposit after awhile instead thinking that perhaps I was doing things wrong. Found out that it took another $288.05 out of my account. I have been trying to withdraw my money since then to no avail. They said first I could have my money by the 23 then the 24th and then the 25th of August. Every time I write them about this they give me the same story. I then told them I was going to file a complaint against them. I want to withdraw my money to my Chase account. I do t trust this company they seem shady and I see they have other similar complaints and you helped them.

On August 2 I try to withdraw my funds and there is a read only error and I was told to contact customer service, this was ticket# ***. They asked to verify my identification with a selfie of me holding my drivers license and a hand written note with the current date on it. and once that was sent over on August 8 they stopped responding. They did not release the hold and also stopped responding to my emails. The app said I needed to download the latest update to continue using it. I updated it and my funds are still being held with no chance to release them and now they have grown to $2,100.

I had $1162.10 in my wallet with FTX US. And they have frozen my account and I cant access my funds to send them back to my traditional bank account. Im hoping to get my funds back and to fix the problem with plaid so I no longer have these strange and inappropriate blocks.

At the end of December FTX and *** partnered to Drop a limited ***. It was advertised for a sale price of $500. They were still advertising it just days before the drop. Naturally me and I'm sure many others singed up for this site, and deposited money, which was charged a Fee. When the drop happened, I was met with a message that I did not have sufficient funds even though my account said $500 and my card had been charged. After the drop FTXs explanation was that the *** is illiquid so even though it said the money was in my account and I could buy crypto. I had to wait many days for the money to fully clear. Obviously me, or anyone in my position would have never deposited money and paid this fee if we knew there was no chance of getting this ***. Then 3 weeks later when I am attempted to withdraw my money and shut my account down, they have a system error and withdraws are temporarily suspended. Now they have my money hostage in an account.

After a few hours @07:38PM the withdrawal had not been completed and was still in "requested" status, so I contacted Support for clarification as to why my withdrawal has not been completed.The next morning, 07/14/2022 @ 6:21AM, My withdrawal was still in "requested" status and no response from Support. At 06:23AM I contacted Support through the support ticket asking for help and explanation as to issue with my withdrawal. NO RESPONSE.07/15/2022 I have checked again and withdrawal still in "requested" status and no response from Support. Once again, I have contacted them through the support ticket asking "where is support?" as I have not had any communication from them and my withdrawal is STILL in "requested" status.It has been two days now and my withdrawal is still in "requested" status and no response from FTX.US Support to help with any issues. I made a wire deposit into my ftxus account following all the directions given to me. Prior to sending the wire deposit I fully verified my account thru there kyc system. I then also uploaded a video confirmation before sending the wire deposit. I then sent a *** usd wire into my account. Shortly after ftx receiving the wire, they claimed the sender of the wire wasn't me. It was soon learned by both parties that I was indeed the sender. After receiving the credit to my account I was asked to upload a copy of my dl and hand held note confirming my identity again. I uploaded that request and response was my fingers obscured the dl info. I then redid the selfie only to be told my hand writing wasn't neat enough. I then uploaded 7 different versions of same photo to make sure one would reach satisfaction. Since that last upload I have gotten no communication from support tix. Furthermore in there telegram support once I communicated my experience and ongoing issue I was removed from support channel. I'm trying to reach a agreement of returning my funds to sending bank or allowing myself access to funds in my account.

FTX.US I cannot access, withdraw, or use the funds in my account. Trying to send crypto to another wallet owned by me fails. If I use the *** Debit card the transaction is declined. My funds are frozen and I cannot access my money. I have submitted two support tickets and have gotten no reply. I have tried calling their support number, ***, all day during business hours and just get a message that says they are either closed or assisting other customers. It seems they have stolen or frozen my money for no reason and they do not reply to my requests to find out why. I have $302.40 in my account that I cannot withdraw or spend using my *** Debit card. There are no holds on my account or notices on their website that they are having any technical issues. I can see the money in my account but cannot access it, and I have verified with my 2 factor authentication. If I try and withdraw crypto it says, "cannot make this withdrawal." I am sending the crypto to the proper wallet and using the right chain, and of course my *** debit card keeps getting declined, even for a $4 purchase. No reply from support makes me worried my money was stolen, this is something they should reply to right away. It seems the only way to get a response from the company is to file this complaint, their posted support methods (support ticket or phone call) are useless.

I created an FTX account about a month ago. I have deposited several thousands of dollars through my bank account and crypto since opening the account. When I opened my account I uploaded my drivers license verifying my identity. On 07/27/22 I tried to withdraw some funds and got a message saying that they believe my account might be hacked and in order to withdraw funds I need to send a selfie while holding my id and a note saying FTX verification. On this very same day I was accepted for level 2 verification. Pretty weird that I would get accepted for level 2 yet there are security concerns when I want to withdraw. Nonetheless I complied and sent the selfie with my id and the note. Furthermore I couldnt even withdraw to my bank account I used to fund my FTX account in the first place which is another alarming sign as this should not be any security issue if the money is going back to the same place. I am filing this complaint now in hopes of not getting the run around from them like I have read about them doing to several other customers. The total amount in my FTX account is $6,130 and I just want to deposit it back into my bank account now. They messaged me saying they will review my documents and that it can take some time. How long does it take to review a drivers license(the same one I used to open the account that took no less then ten minutes to get verified)

I went on to FTX to establish my account to use with Ledger which was approved and then used FTX to make a purchase. I tried making another trade on the 25th only to be greeted by a message that my account was in shut down mode which there was no attempt to reach out to me if any thing additional was needed. I sent in a help ticket asking for an explanation to understand the situation and received a message that there was a breach of terms and proceeded to tell me that I have 72 hours to withdraw all my funds $3,761.74 via ACH. I tried to process this ACH but, the system they use "Plaid" said that my bank's (a large bank) system could not connect with Plaid but, they were working on it. I notified FTX and they recommended that I use wire to send the funds to my bank account and when I tried the wire route I was met with "Please complete identity verification to withdraw via wire". I have found no way to update any identity information to complete this process. I have sent in another ticket to alert FTX to this challenge but, have not heard back and according to FTX the 72 hours is running out. I would like to know the following:1. Why my account was cancelled? 2. Since you said that I "breeched your terms" why was I allowed to make these small trades in the first place when you approved my account? Why is this not something that can not be fixed?3. What identity information is needed from me to complete the transfer of money ($3,761.74) to my account?

Hours went by, then the following day July 4th my assets still hadnt been withdrawn from FTX.us Ive been in contact with support, provided account verification, selfies with dated notes, confirmed that Im self employed (Im a sole proprietor - I do not receive paystubs) uploaded documents to confirm address & even bank account verification with my name, but the situation hasnt changed. I have since canceled the previous withdrawal request, however Im not being allowed to make any new withdraws of my assets from my account. Thank you very much for your assistance with my complaint against FTX US.I began using the services of FTX US in late December to purchase cryptocurrency by depositing funds using my PNC bank debit card.All went well until 4/4/2022, when I submitted an *** transfer of $2000 from my PNC bank checking account to my FTX US account via the FTX US mobile app.When I submitted my transfer request, the FTX US mobile app displayed a message that the transfer of funds via the *** method would take about 12 days.I then began checking daily to see if the $2000 had been transferred to my FTX US account, but the funds never showed up in my FTX.US account.On 4/26/2022 and 4/27/2022, I opened two separate support tickets on the FTX US support website requesting information on why the $2000 had not yet been credited to my FTX US account.I also requested the following information in my FTX US support ticket:Has FTX received the $2000 transferred from PNC Bank and if so, on what date, time and transaction number?Has the $2000 been already credited to my FTX wallet and if so on what date, time and transaction number?My FTX US account contains $9.46 as of 4/27/2023, so if the $2000 was previously credited to my FTX account, on what date, time and transaction number were those funds withdrawn from my FTX US account?In response to my request for information on the $2000 *** funds transfer, the only information that FTX US has given me is that the $2000 was transferred to my FTX US account on 4/4/2022.This statement contradicts the message on the FTX US mobile app which informed me that it would take 12 days from 4/4/2022 for the funds to show up in my FTX.US account.In addition, its impossible for the funds to have been credited to my FTX US account on 4/4/2022 since my bank, PNC, did not send the funds to FTX US until two days later on 4/6/2022.Furthermore, FTX US has not provided me the detailed in formation that I requested.

After finally getting the funds into their system, they put a hold on the funds for withdrawl, stating that the initial failures getting funds in indicated I was a high risk. They told me I couldn't withdraw the funds until 24-Apr-2022. On that date, I was told I still could not withdraw. I contacted tech support and they then stated I would have to wait until 19-May-2022 to withdraw (again, because of issues on their side, which they say indicated I was a risk). This all despite me sending proof of identity. I was so frustrated with their system that I decided to wait and remove my funds. On 20-May-2022, I attempted to withdraw the funds via ACH, but after adding two valid bank accounts, both were rejected (one a credit union, and one a FDIC insured national bank -- US Bank). I asked why, and they said, again, that I was a risk. I was told I would have to do a wire transfer. After attempting to do that, I was denied, saying that my $30.00 was "too small" for wire transfer. As I have NO other bank accounts (and doubt that any of them would work, since they seem to reject every account I connect), and with wire transfer out, there is no way for me to get back the funds I put in their system. They are essentially holding my money hostage and offer me no viable way to get it transferred out of their system (except to another crypto, which I do no use). I believe they are actively keeping me from obtaining my funds for some reason, and are actively working against me. I have attached screen shots of the balances and conversations with their tech support people. Note that in the latest conversation, they deliberately removed relevant replies for some reason (censoring, or avoiding tracking).My request is that FTX approve one of my two bank accounts, or allow a wire transfer for the full $30, to get my funds back.

I completed a subscription with FTX in which I had to deposit 100k and then was given 30k. While the subscription was being completed, I used my money in my account to trade and make more money. After my subscription was completed on 6/8/22, I was told by FTX that all of my funds in my account which totaled $312, *** USDT would be released. Then when I tried to withdraw the money, it failed and they said that they have temporarily frozen my account and accused me of gaining profit through a cheat program. Their solution was that I needed to deposit 5% of my total funds in order to lift the freeze. I was told that after I deposited the 5% then I would be able to withdraw my funds in the full amount. I deposited the money they asked for and again they informed me that my account was frozen and I cannot withdraw the funds. When I asked why they said that in order to be able to receive my funds I needed to deposit another either 3% or 5% of my funds in order to convert them into USD so that they can be transferred internationally, and that my account is locked until doing so. I chose 3% which was a general international remittance and that takes 3-7 business days for the transfer. After depositing the money and waiting, I got another message. They stopped the transfer, froze my account again, and this time they accused me of money laundering throughout my entire time being a user with them. In order to prove that I have not been money laundering and to unfreeze my account I needed to deposit yet another 3% of my funds. I did so, and was told that FTX would transfer the money for me as soon as the account was unfrozen. I also was told that they would push the process of getting my money to the bank. Neither of those assurances have been fulfilled because today, 6/22/22 I was told that I need to deposit another *** USDT in order to go through the green withdrawal channel and at this point I am up to $348,564.11 and I don't want to deposit any more money to FTX.
