I have done my due diligence and fulfilled my obligation to this company, complied with the Terms and Conditions that were posted on the internet site and they continue to bill my credit card company.

In addition to billing me for a product that I have cancelled well within the 14 day period, they have chosen to bill me twice for the amount of $87.13 for merchandise that I am not receiving nor do I care to receive.

I signed up for a one time sample and have been being sent a bottle a mont, with no orde form enclosed, had no idea how much this product costed until I finally got to talk to a person who hardly spoke english, and tried to tell me he could not find my name or address anywhere. This is crazy. Found out it cost me 8713 for something I did not want and really got frustrated talking to this person who could not hardly speak english. This is crazy Am going to call BBB. Hope others get thi crap figured out before I did Diane Peck

You should know that there is a need to cancel within the 14 day trial period (if you don't want the product anymore)) or else you will pay the full amount of the product. You want all these shipments and charges to stop? Call [protected]. You'll have a great chance to solve these unauthorized charges on your account.

Many businesses across the country are using the same selling model for their acai products: They lure customers in with celebrity endorsements and free trial offers, and then lock them in by making it extremely difficult to cancel the automatic delivery of more acai products every month.

The endorsements are also misleading, according to the bureau, and some celebrity lawyers have already gone after these online companies.

"Consumers should be aware that Oprah Winfrey is not associated with nor does she endorse any acai berry product or online solicitation of such products. Attorneys for Harpo are pursuing any companies that claim such an affiliation, " said Don Halcombe, spokesman for Harpo Productions, Winfrey's production company.

Consumers can check www.bbb.org to get a "reliability report" on particular companies before purchasing an online product.

"These companies are simply abusing general acai berry endorsements from well-known, trusted celebrities by using it as a tacit endorsement of their company and products specifically.

Consumers trust Oprah and unfortunately, if they are tricked into believing that she is putting her stamp of approval on a product then they are definitely more likely to purchase it.

"FREE TRIAL OFFERs" FOR ACAI BERRY ARE NOT FREE!
In fact they will cost you more than 4 TIMES AS MUCH as it should cost per bottle. These scammers will charge your credit card at least $80 per bottle each month. That more than twice as much as quality freeze-dried acai berry should cost. And to make it worse, they send you crappy drum dried Acai Berry, which cost about 1/2 as much to produce. So you end up paying at least 4 times more per bottle than you should.

YOU WILL BE SIGNED UP FOR A SUBSCRIPTION
Yes, they say they just charge you for shipping. If that were so, it wouldn't be bad. But in reality, they just want your credit card number and will bill you every month for a subscription you didn't sign up for. They bury the fine print in their terms and conditions.

YOU WILL SPEND HOURS TRYING TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION
There will either be noone to contact to return the crappy product, or they will say you have to call their customer service number to get return authorization. When you do, you are put on hold and shuffled between different people until you give up. Don't believe me? Before you purchase, call or email them and say you did not sign up for a subscription and please stop sending the product. You will get the runaround

THEY WILL SHIP YOU A CRAPPY, NEARLY WORTHLESS NO NAME BRAND OF ACAI BERRY SUPPLEMENT
They don't expect you to be happy with the product. They don't care, so they make even more money by shipping you crap. Acai Berry supplements must be freeze dried, or else they lose most of the nutrients and antioxidents. These scammers use cheap, heat processed Acai that cost 1/2 as much. Read more about choosing a quality supplement

THEY OFTEN BUNDLE OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE SUBSCRIPTION TO CHARGE YOU EVEN MORE
It's really obscene what some of these scammers do. We've listed a common offer below, where they bundle additional offers if you do not deselect the checkbox (it's checked by default). Some are hitting people with $150 a month in charges.

THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expanding, for the second time, its nationwide alert to consumers about tainted weight loss products containing undeclared, active pharmaceutical ingredients.

The FDA has identified additional weight loss products (Herbal Xenicol, Slimbionic, and Xsvelten) and new undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients (fenproporex, fluoxetine, furosemide, and cetilistat).

"These tainted weight loss products pose a great risk to public health because they contain undeclared ingredients and, in some cases, contain prescription drugs in amounts that greatly exceed maximum recommended dosages, " said Janet Woodcock, M.D., director of the FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. "Consumers have no way of knowing that these products contain dangerous drugs that could cause serious consequences to their health."

On Dec. 22, 2008, the FDA warned consumers not to purchase or consume 28 different products marketed for weight loss. On Jan. 8, 2009, the FDA expanded the list of tainted weight loss products to include 41 additional tainted products. The FDA will continue to update this list as warranted.

The products listed above, some of which are marketed as dietary supplements, are promoted and sold on various Web sites and in some retail stores and beauty salons. Some of the products claim to be "natural" or to contain only "herbal" ingredients, but actually contain potentially harmful ingredients not listed on the products' labels or in promotional advertisements. These products have not been approved by the FDA, are illegal, and include the following undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients:

fenproporex – a controlled substance not approved for marketing in the United States;
fluoxetine – an antidepressant available by prescription only;
bumetanide – a potent diuretic available by prescription only;
furosemide – a potent diuretic available by prescription only;
rimonabant – a drug not approved for marketing in the United States;
cetilistat – an experimental obesity drug not approved for marketing in the United States;
phenytoin – an anti-seizure medication available by prescription only; and
phenolphthalein – a solution used in chemical experiments and a suspected cancer-causing agent that is not approved for marketing in the United States.
The FDA has inspected a number of companies associated with the sale of these illegal products and is currently seeking product recalls. Based on the FDA's inspections and the companies' inadequate responses to recall requests, the FDA may take additional enforcement steps, such as issuing warning letters or initiating seizures, injunctions, or criminal charges.

The FDA advises consumers who have used any products containing these ingredients to stop taking them and consult their health care professional immediately. The FDA also encourages consumers to seek guidance from a health care professional before purchasing weight loss products.

The health risks posed by these products can be very serious and include high blood pressure, seizures, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), palpitations, heart attack, and stroke. Sibutramine, a controlled substance, was found in many of these products at levels much higher than the maximum daily dosage for Meridia, the only FDA-approved drug product containing sibutramine. These higher levels of sibutramine can increase the incidence and severity of these health risks. Fenproporex, another controlled substance, can cause arrhythmia and possible sudden death.

Health care professionals and consumers should report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone.

Online: www.fda.gov/MedWatch/report.htm
Regular Mail: use postage-paid FDA form 3500 available at: www.fda.gov/MedWatch/getforms.htm and mail to MedWatch, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD [protected]
Fax: 800- FDA-0178

After ordering and then researching results I have run across the horror stories. I then called 1.866.949.0138 (24 hr support line) to request my account be cancelled. The website says "Cancel Anytime", that I ordered from. The foreign sounding gentleman by the name of Keith Scott w/ FWM Laboratories said he canceled my subscription and issued me a Cancellation #. I then asked him if I had been enrolled in any other program by signing up for FWM's subscription and he said no and that his company was not affliated with any other company. But the weird thing about it was the fact that all they needed was my zipcode to pull up my order. He asked my zipcode and then called me by name. Asked me to confirm my email address associated with the order and then proceeded to tell me that my subscription had been cancelled. The "free trial" offer was supposed to be for $3.95 s/h, but my account was only charged $2. They never asked for the "free" bottle back either. I am going to call my bank tomorrow and cancel my debit card and get a new one re-issued as well to try to cover all bases. I am lucky so far as to not have had any other charges on my account yet, but I don't want to take the chance that it will happen, because I just don't have it to spare and then have to go thru all the headaches of trying to get a refund etc. We'll see what happens. Hopefully I nipped it before it got out of hand. Another thing though that I thought was weird: right after he got my zipcode and then called me by name, our connection seemed to get really really bad. I could barely hear him but made out my name...I told him that I could barely hear him. I told him that yes my name is ________, if that is indeed what he was trying to confirm and he said yes, then miracously (sp?) the line cleared up a little bit at a time. By the 3rd or 4th sentence out of his mouth it was back to normal again. If I had not read about other ppl experiencing the same thing I would have probably hung up and tried again later (if I remembered), which is probably what they count on. But I persisted and stayed on the line. He asked me why I was cancelling and I told him that I didn't really feel that it was any of his business but that I had been researching his company and the results of the product and had run across the "horror" stories and decided not to do business with them and that I would be going to local stores to make my purchase of this product in person. I also told him I would be contacting my bank as well. Again, hopefully they will leave me alone. We will see.

I ordered a free trial of both the acai berry detox and the life cleanse. I was charged 3.95 for both products, for shipping and handlingon April 10, 2009. I noticed 14days later on APril 24, that I was charged $87.13 for both products. I called and got a recording stating that if I wanted to cancel an subscription/order to enter my credit card number that I used when I paid for the trial. I did not do that I kept pushing 00 and finally talking into the recording. That brought someone on the line.
I was irate and told them that I did not order anything and that I wanted to cancel any further shipment or charges that would be in the offing. I said that since I didn't receive any new product, this is a false charge. They stated hat it was for the FREE TRIAL! How can they charge you for a free trial? I got the person's name and two confirmation numbers, one for each product. I'm terrified now after reading these other complaints that my account will be charged again. I will watch daily. THe trouble is we are all complaining, but nothing is being done. What is the next step? Where do we take these complaints so someone in government or authority can stop them?

Originally ordered product in Jan. I agreed to pay for the 1st round since I didn't get back before my 14-days. I called and told them I wished to cancel since I didn't realize they would automatically be shipping and charging. They agreed and said the next round had been sent already and gave me the instructions to return the product and get my refund. I did as instructed no refund was issued and since then I have received another charge without reieving product. Making my total refund to date owed to me...$261.00. No working phone numbers or contact information to get my $$$$ back.

Is there any chance that you purchase something online? Other people might got hold of your credit card information and used it as their own. You can contact FWM lab at [protected]. Tell them you might be a victim of identity theft and you want any shipment of their product to be stopped.

I didnt even recieve anything from these people. I agreed to free sample and used credit card to pay S&H. Never recieved anything from them, but on my next statement, had a charge of 79.95 on it. I called the number on the credit card beside the charge. She asked for my name, email, and zip, then proceeded to tell me they didnt have anything under that information, and asked what number I called. I told her, and she said that wasnt her number. She refused to let me talk to her supervisor. She said there was nothing she could do. I finally got frustrated and hung up. Now I'm going through my credit card company to dispute the claim, and calling state attorney generals office in Florida.

I cancelled my future orders of Acai Berry Supplements because I did not realize I was receiving another bottle & my Business Credit Card was charged(which I'm not too pleased about) I spoke with a Cust. Service Rep. "Jason" last wk. who told me he'd e-mail me a
confirmation # in order to return the bottle & to get a credit; however never received it?
If i would have known this would have happened I never would have ordered them in the first place!
Please contact me at your earliest convenience to rectify this situation.

Looks like you didn't have any idea about the 14-day trial period. They charged with such amount since you didn't cancel you order within the given time period. What you must do is call [protected]. Talk to the operator, cancel your order and get a confirmation. I'm not making this up; I went through the same experience also.

This is an outrageous company. The same experience happened to me whereby I ordered their product on a trial basis, and called in to cancel 13 times over a 12 day period. You are put on hold and the music keeps playing. The number provided for their headquearters in Fort Lauderdale no loner works.

I am reporting this to the AG's office in Florida, all the credit card companies, 60 minutes and wherever they have advertised. I consider this company an absolute scam.

I got the same run around when I called to complain. I did return the products. When I called Customer Service, the account rep would give me the run around each time, sometimes they would hang up on me. Usually, I could not understand them. The shame of it all is that - I will never try another product other than an item I purchase in a store. I feel bad for the legitimate companies on-line. And, I will never purchase any product from any company who employs phone reps that you can not understand.

I ordered the free trial, have never recieved it, was billed for the shipping and am now being billed $87.13 for another batch which I never ordered! I wish I would have read all the complaints about this company before I requested the free trial! I reached an automated message which supposedly canceled my subscription - which I never subscribed to - but I am going to go down to my bank and make sure there are no further charges as a precaution. Beware, this company is NO GOOD! If you really want to try the Acai Berry, you can find it at health food stores and GNC sells a freeze dried product that is supposed to be the best.

WOW! I also encountered a fraud charge on my credit card account from this company! Luckily my charge card company, Chase Bank, had noticed this before me and called me wanting to know if I authorized this charge, which of course I did not. Had to cancel my charge card and have them send me a new one. Luckily, all charges were removed with my fraud complaint. My charge card company had alot of info on this company, which their products are NOT mailed from Hollywood, FLA but rather from India! The odd thing is I have used my "free" sample of the product Acai Berry, and it worked! Still will NEVER order from this company. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! Anybody who got involved in this should call their credit card company, instead of trying to deal with the company where the products come from, and tell them there are fraudulent charges on your statement that were not authorized by you. Any reputable credit card company will help you with this, as mine did. MBD
