I called this dealership to check if they had a used diesel truck and how much it cost
I called this dealership to check if they had a used diesel truck and how much it cost. They said they had it and took our info, but then they stopped talking to us and suddenly raised the price by $6,ooo. I read other reviews and it seems like they often trick people and use dishonest methods. Be careful if you decide to buy from them.
I bought a used Honda Civic from Gary Yeomans Honda 'bout a year and a half ago
I bought a used Honda Civic from Gary Yeomans Honda 'bout a year and a half ago. Just had an issue with the clutch master cylinder leakin' and took it to my local Honda dealership in Jacksonville. I had the Platinum third party warranty from Total Warranty Services, costin' me nearly $3k. When we tried to claim for the clutch master cylinder, Total Warranty Services said the warranty had been downgraded to gold and it wasn't covered. It seemed like the dealership downgraded it without my permission 'bout 3 months after I got it. I think this might be a breach of contract and I'm considerin' takin' legal action. Total Warranty Services did mention there's a chance they might refund the downgraded warranty. So, they'd be takin' my money back.
We texted Juan at Gary Yeomans Honda, and he was great!
We texted Juan at Gary Yeomans Honda, and he was great! He helped us with the price and made the process easy for our son. They gave us free bottled water while we waited. The finance guy (I forgot his name) was great too. He went out of his way to get what we needed. My only complaints are the kids area and the "detail clean". The kids room needs a good cleaning and updating, especially with COVID-19. The toys were all dirty and sticky, and they were mostly for preschoolers with a few cheap books. The detail job was disappointing. It didn't look like they washed it at all. The windows had lint and smudges. It wasn't terrible, but Juan said it would be "immaculate" and it wasn't. Overall, we had a good experience!
Email (below) sent to Dan *** in financing, obviously no response
Email (below) sent to Dan *** in financing, obviously no response. Also, I agree totally with the Britney review as I had her for a salesperson. Stay away from this dealer!
It has been eight (8) weeks and two (2) billing statements since (per my request and your response) you cancelled the Warranty/Ding Shield in the amount of $2557.07. Still, there is no credit as you stated there would be. I have made all remunerations on time. So now (if you indeed reply to this and I can only hope that you do) we must understand why that is so and what further action must be taken. I have been patient and respectful to the point of frustration. I ask that you respond professionally by immediately taking the necessary action to finalize this transaction and restore my confidence. Further delays are not acceptable. I only hope that integrity is intact and that I will hear from you soon. Thank you.
I called to make sure about the car and price afore driving there
I called to make sure about the car and price afore driving there. I made an appointment, got there and the dealer I was talking to was gone and car wasn't ready. A few hours later after finding the car, test driving, researching finances and waiting to have my car appraised for trade, we finally sat down to deal and they raised the price $2k over advertised price. They just said it was a "mistake". Didn't get a real explanation, apology or compromise, but was told if I didn't want it, they already had another buyer. Basically what all dealers say. As I was leaving to get my keys back from the managers desk, they were laughing and the head manager just said too bad and waved a paper in my face condescendingly saying the car was already sold. So either they are lying, or tried to sell it under someone else for more by jacking the price and wasting my time. Either way, pretty disgusting. I've never been so disrespected or had a worse buying experience with the blatant unprofessionalism from that crew. Especially from comptroller and top managers.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware. Don't buy a used car here. The car price seemed fair until they started adding in the super high dealer fee which was supposed to cover the car inspection, etc. Well, they sold us a car with a broken AC. They knew there was an issue and instead of properly diagnosing it and telling us, they "recharged" it enough to be cool for the test drive so it seemed like the AC was working. The minute we drove it off the lot, the AC was blowing hot air. We did buy a warranty but, it doesn't start for 30 days so we can't even get it checked out right now. We wouldn't have bought the car if they had been honest about the AC issue. We left a message for a manager to call us about this but, we haven't heard back from anyone yet. When we found out about the dealer fee, we said we were going to "think about" the purchase for a bit but, of course they trick you into making a quick decision by telling you that someone else wants to buy the car which I'm sure was a lie. Don't bother with this dealership. They're no good! Buyer beware. We're really unhappy!
Avoid this dealership
Avoid this dealership. The GM and Sales manager on Sunday, September 5th refused to give out the gift they sent in their mailer. If you don't provide your phone number, they won't give you the prize. They shouldn't include the offer in the mail if they're not willing to give it to the customer. They claim it's in the fine print, but I checked and couldn't find any mention of needing to give my phone number. Maybe they can't attract customers to this location unless they offer a gift. It might seem silly to go to the dealership just to see if you've won, but when you refuse to give your number, they threaten to call the police and give you only two minutes to leave before taking a picture of your car. I need a new car, but I would never go to this place if they treat customers like this. Oh, and now they owe me five gold coins for this review. They also wanted to keep my mailer, which had my personal information. I don't think they're allowed to do that. I asked to speak with the owner or their boss, and they didn't appreciate it. Well, I hope you like the review. I also posted it on other websites. I don't want them calling me; I'm on the Do Not Call list.
Buyer Beware - I spent 3 days haggling with Gary Yeoman Honda for a cash price on a certified pre-owned Honda
Buyer Beware - I spent 3 days haggling with Gary Yeoman Honda for a cash price on a certified pre-owned Honda. We agreed on a price through text. Before leaving my house, I double-checked some important details, like the Honda pre-owned warranty. When I was signing the paperwork, I asked to see the CPO warranty documentation. Three different people came out and said I couldn't see it until I went into the finance office. Eventually, it became clear that they had replaced the certified pre-owned warranty with a 3rd party warranty (Total Warranty Services - a company owned by one of the dealership owners). Even though I had everything in writing, the dealer refused to honor our agreement. A Sales Manager tried to make me pay for the certified warranty out of my own pocket (and increase the invoice amount to the amount I had already declined). They also said they wouldn't accept outside liens or bank drafts. I walked away and made the long drive home without a vehicle. Another sales manager called and offered to honor the deal and deliver the car, but honestly, I was worried about the car's quality by that point and really didn't want to do business with the dealership. One of the dealership owners briefly and unsuccessfully tried to get in touch. Buyer Beware - Bait-and-switch.
I just got a Honda Odyssey 2021 LX from Gary Yeomans Honda
I just got a Honda Odyssey 2021 LX from Gary Yeomans Honda. They brought the car to me, which was nice. First, I talked to Lissette Leon and then Sales Person Jess. Before I left the dealership, they sent me 2 faraway pictures that didn't show much. But I thought I saw that there were no power sliding doors, so I asked about it. They didn't answer though. No power sliding doors on a 2021 Odyssey? Can't believe it! Well, when they delivered the car, I told them I didn't like it because there were no power doors. They didn't tell me beforehand, and I didn't have the option to say no. The GM said I could have refused it later, but it's too late now. If I had known there were no power doors and no keyless entry when I asked, I would have paid more to upgrade the trim while the car was still at the dealership. We have 3 little kids, ages 2, 4, and 7, and it's a big deal for my wife to not have keyless entry and power doors. We had an LX Odyssey before and it had power doors and keyless entry. I never would have thought this LX model didn't have those basic options. The sales team never told me about the options available on this trim. The dealership tried to offer a trade later, but it was too expensive. We're really disappointed with the lack of communication. Their team, including the GM, tried to blame me, the customer. And to top it off, they disabled my ability to leave an honest review. They kept pressuring me to leave a positive 10/10 review or else the sales person (Jess) wouldn't get his bonus. Because of this lack of communication, my wife will be unhappy for 36 months without power doors and keyless entry with our 3 small children. And secondly, the dealership made me leave a positive review even though we're unhappy. When they realized I wouldn't change my mind, they disabled my ability to leave a review. I hope this testimonial warns all potential customers out there. I wish things had gone better because they treated me well and gave me a good deal on the LX (that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1). But don't trust your assumptions, double-check what you're getting because Gary Yeomans Honda won't tell you everything and they'll hold you responsible if things go wrong. Thank you.
I had a really bad experience at this dealership, Gary Yeomans Honda
I had a really bad experience at this dealership, Gary Yeomans Honda. Specifically, Britney was the one who messed things up for me. She lied and tricked me throughout the whole process, and even sold the car to someone else not once, but twice, just to make more money. This happened after we had already agreed on a deal. I called to buy a car that I saw online, but it turns out that most of the information in the ad was false or completely wrong. I tried to make a deposit, but Britney told me that she couldn't take it because the car hadn't been through their shop yet, even though the ad said it had. She promised to keep me updated and assured me that I would be the first to know when it was available. So, I got my finances in order and waited. Two days went by and I didn't hear anything, which seemed strange because when you have a buyer ready, you would think they would prioritize it and get it done. But I stayed patient. Finally, at 4:45pm on a Friday, I got a call saying that the car was available and asking if I was ready to purchase. Of course, I had been ready for 3 days already. Britney rushed me to wire them the money right away, but anyone who knows anything about this business would know that wire cut-offs had already happened for the day, so I couldn't do anything until the next day. However, I agreed to put down a larger deposit of 5K to show that I was serious about buying the car and that it would be held for me. But just minutes after I provided my card information, I received a text saying that the car had been sold! How could that be? I was the first one to know that it was available. And let's not forget that during those 3 days, I saw the ad for the car come and go from their website 2 different times, each time with a higher price. When I asked for an explanation, all I got were poor excuses. Apparently, a buyer from North Carolina was able to put a deposit down before me and they were coming down the next morning to buy it. If they didn't end up buying it, then I would have the chance to buy it. Not fair, but okay. But then, an hour later, I got another call saying that the car had just been sold to a cash buyer right before closing time. Again, I asked how that could be if someone else had already put a deposit down and I wasn't allowed to. Britney tried to say that the deposit was only there to hold the price of the car. That's complete nonsense! Deposits don't work like that. I expressed my frustration and anger at how they had misled and deceived me, and how their ethics and business practices were nothing like what they advertised. They just wanted to keep me interested while they shopped the car around to other buyers to get more money. They fit the stereotype of sleazy used car salesmen perfectly. I hope Britney enjoys spending the extra money she made. Maybe she should buy something silver, because just like her reputation, it will tarnish nicely.

I went to Gary Yeomans Honda and they sold my wife a Pruis v 3, but they told her it was a 5 on paper
I went to Gary Yeomans Honda and they sold my wife a Pruis v 3, but they told her it was a 5 on paper. This is a big difference of about $3800 in trim level. It's fraud!
I just bought a 2016 Honda Civic from this car place
I just bought a 2016 Honda Civic from this car place. They say they check all the stuff on their used cars, like 186 points or something. But guess what? My car's air conditioning thing broke in less than 3 months. And get this, they checked it during the inspection! They wanted to charge me more than $2000 to fix it. When I mentioned the inspection and how I just bought the car, they didn't care and didn't want to help me with the cost. If they don't back up their inspection, they shouldn't use it to trick people into buying.
I bought a car from Gary Yeomans Honda on Sunday
I bought a car from Gary Yeomans Honda on Sunday. The car was listed on their website for $10,500. I agreed to pay that price, knowing there would be fees and taxes. However, the next day I discovered that they had hidden the actual price and added it to my finance agreement. So, in the end, I paid $4,000 more than the asking price of $10,500. They use a computer desk to show the paperwork, and they purposely make it hard to see what you're really paying. It was totally on purpose. They rely on disclaimers, lawyers, and Florida law, which seems to protect them from this deceptive and misleading practice. I'm not dumb. I've managed companies with thousands of employees and over a billion in revenue. It's embarrassing that they fooled me like this. I don't mind dealerships making a profit, but a gross margin of over 40% is just too much.

The car place don't wanna help me with my old car that I traded in
The car place don't wanna help me with my old car that I traded in. They haven't paid off the loan for over a month now. The people there don't answer my calls and when they do, they act like it's not a big deal. Then this guy named Anthony M stepped in and showed me proof that they paid, but they sent the money to the wrong bank because they weren't paying attention. So now, my old car still ain't paid off and it's been more than 30 days. This might mess up my credit. I had to go see Anthony M in person 'cause he wouldn't answer my calls. I showed him their mistake and he said they would fix it. But they still haven't fixed it. My old car is still not paid off.
I gave $7000 to Gary Yeomans Honda for a down payment on a Honda HRV lease
I gave $7000 to Gary Yeomans Honda for a down payment on a Honda HRV lease. I wanted a low monthly payment, especially since Honda was advertising zero down and 0% interest during the Christmas season. However, I ended up giving them more money to try and lower my payment, even though the commercials said zero down and zero interest on Honda HRVs. As a retired individual with a fixed income, I needed a car for transportation after my previous one was totaled by a careless driver. I've always been a fan of Honda, so I decided to lease the HRV ex on November 28.
Unfortunately, I found the car to be uncomfortable and stiff to drive, feeling every bump on the road. I decided to take it back to Gary Yeomans Honda. Despite hardly putting any miles on the HRV, I couldn't reach Dan in finance for over a month as I was repeatedly told he was on vacation. I was determined to return the HRV and get out of the lease, as I don't feel the need to lease a car at this stage of my life.
In January, I drove up to Daytona to visit Gary Yeomans Honda. I paid the first month's payment and got the clearcoat on the car. I returned the leased car and now I want my $7000 back. That money was given to me for the loss of my previous car, and I believe it should be returned to me. Honda shouldn't be allowed to keep it for any reason.
Yeomans Honda sold me a warranty I never got and financed through my Honda account
Yeomans Honda sold me a warranty I never got and financed through my Honda account. I cancelled over 8 wks ago and still no money. I bought a service contract when I got my new car. It was financed with Honda, but I never got a copy of the warranty. Turns out it wasn't Honda Care like my other Hondas. It was from a company called Total Warranty Services. When I asked them for a copy, they said I had to call the dealership. So I called the dealership, but they couldn't give me a copy either. They printed something from the total warranty site, but that's it. I went to cancel the warranty I never got and got two different refund amounts. The warranty company gave me one amount, but the dealership gave me a much smaller one. My car had about 5000 miles and the warranty was for 100k miles. Then I found out that one of the owners of Yeomans Honda also owns the warranty company, Terry T. They never told me that when I bought the warranty. I talked to the general manager, Haitham F and the finance manager, Dan B, but they won't return my calls or emails about my refund. It's been over 8 weeks and they won't respond. I'm still paying interest on a contract I never got. They can't even explain how they came up with the refund amount.
I bought a 2015 Honda Crosstour from Gary Yeomans Honda in early 2021
I bought a 2015 Honda Crosstour from Gary Yeomans Honda in early 2021. I saw on their website that they had a 182 point inspection, so I thought the car would be reliable and not need any repairs. But after about 7 months, it started having a big problem with the pistons. It cost me over $4000 to fix, but luckily it was covered by the lifetime powertrain warranty, so I only had to pay my deductible. I don't know why their inspection didn't catch that issue, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
While the car was at the dealership for repairs, the mechanic told me it also needed $1000 worth of maintenance, including $500 for new brake pads (which were worn down to 3 mm) and resurfacing the rotors. They also mentioned a few other procedures that would cost $150-200 each. My wife drives the car and she only works 3 minutes away from our house, so there's no way she could have worn the brake pads down that much in such a short time. When I asked the service guy about the inspection and how it's used, he couldn't give me any answers.
The 182 point inspection was supposed to give me confidence in buying a reliable car in good condition, but it only made me disappointed in the dealership and their sales tactics. And on top of that, the salesperson told me the financing terms were final, but then the sales manager said they were just an estimate. We argued loudly until he finally gave me the original terms and walked away.
Now, the car has a shimmy or vibration when braking from high speeds, which it didn't have before the repairs. I have an appointment scheduled to get it checked out, but it's just adding to my frustration with this dealership. I tried contacting them about this issue, but they ignored me.
Missin key fobs linked to my vehicle
Missin key fobs linked to my vehicle. On July 17th I took possession of a 2018 Audi A6 that I purchased from this dealership. I was so excited. It was a large purchase for me. I was given a key fob. The next day I was in the setting of the vehicle and came to my attention there was 3 key fobs programed to the car. I contacted my sales person John and he advised me to contact Brian for help. I spoke to Brian and he assured me he would speak with the GM which owned the car previously and would call me back when he had the key. A week went by and no call. So I called Brian and asked him where the keys are to my car. Brian advised me that the GM and his wife has just moved to Daytona from Beverly Hills and they weren't sure where the additional key fobs were. They were packed and as soon as they found them. They would call me so they could get the keys to me. I now have had the car amounts and never received a call. So I called on Aug 22 and spoke to Brian. I asked if he had news and he said he did but it wasn't good news. That they were unable to find the key fobs that belong to my car and they can't help me. I expressed my disappointment that I purchased a $35k car and I cant even have the keys to my car that I bought from them and how horrible the customer service is for a car I just ourchaed from them. Brian assured me there's nothing else they can help me with but I can go call someone they use that would discount a replacement key fob. No onr else should have the keys to MY vehicle i have purchssed. They try to tell me that it was promised. Well it also was not promised. So either way no one told me I should or shouldn't get at the time of contract but they assured me the keys were packed and when they found them I would get them. 2 key fobs that are missing is $1200 to replace. This dealership has lied to me and is not willing to provide assistance with giving me what belongs with the car i purchased. Why does the orignal owner need the keys to my vehicle!
Should be 4.24% interest rate accordng to Vystar CU webpage
Should be 4.24% interest rate accordng to Vystar CU webpage. GYH is charging 6.24%. My car supposed to have 325 M on it, When I got it was 618 miles! Was promised my new vehicle would only have 325 miles on it. When it was delivered to me it had 618 miles on it! They should of had vehicle towed to dealership on a tow truck with a flat bed. It would not have cost them much. But instead they put almost another 300 miles one it turning my new car into a used car. Basically they are charging me a new car price for a used car simply because they were too cheap to pay for towing to their dealership. When I told my salesman about the extra miles he started to give me a bad attitude. He said what did I expect they had to drive it from another dealership to theirs. How was I supposed to know that. No one ever informed me about how far away car was or that my car would have more miles on it than was stated in the sales contract. Charged me 2% more interest that the Vystar credit Union shows on their web page. So this 2% will cost me over $4000 over period of loan! Low balled me on my trad-in. I am a disabled Navy Veteran with a weak heart who served my country for over 20 years. I have breathing problems, heart problems, knee problems, from my time in service. I was exposed to asbestos for over 11 years on 5 old Destroyer type ships. So they have taken advantage of (ripped off) a old disabled retired Navy veteran My heart rate and blood pressure is up since I was taken advantage of by Gary Yeomans Honda. I have not been feeling good since I was ripped off at Gary Yeomans. If I have a heart attack or a stroke will take legal action. As it is I intend to put a complaint into the ComplaintsBoard.com and other places on the web telling how I was ripped off by Gary Yeomans Honda. I want this deal re-rolled with $6000 off price I was financed for. I want 4.24% interest instead of 6.24% I am being overcharged. Vehicle 2020 Honda Passport Touring. VIn: *** Purchase date 10/10: Contract stated car had 325 miles on it. Problem date 10/13: Actual miles was 618 when I took delivery of it.
