2013 gmc duramax
Hate this truck. Been trouble since we bought it. So far our rear axle has blown twice. Were on our 2nd wiper linkage. 3rd blower motor. 3 weeks to find an electrical problem. Can't count the times the def system screws up and goes into limp mode. Just had the axle seal fixed and today the power steering went. Your company used to make a good product not anymore this is a lemon. Already had you involved about another problem but this time were done. 9 months to pay and were buying a Toyota. Been a life time customer with gm but done doing business with you. Hope you get it together for the future. Oh ya and the paint falling off already. Forgot it needs a paint job at 6 years old
2015 chevy 1500 pu
it has been into the dealer several times for complaints on the transmission shifting hard at times and the say that they re calibrate it but it doesn't seem to help. I just noticed that Ford has problems with the transmission on the focus and they try to hide it! Is that what GM is doing? This PU has been a piece of junk since I bought it! at times there is a screeching sound that comes out of the radio speakers when the door is opened and the key is not even in the ignition, I have owned lots of GM products and this on by far is the biggest piece of crap
windshield wiper linkage
I have a 2010 Chevy equinox 2.4 liter 4 cylinder and the wiper linkage bushing messed up and my wipers stopped. I almost wrecked. This is a major issue and there needs to be a recall. Why hasn't it been done. I can't afford to continually buy the entire assembly. I don't have the money to replace it so now I can't work if it rains. You have recalled the 2013 why not the 2010? It's the same exact problem. It's going to kill someone.

Subject: Very Frustrated and Disgusted Service Customer
Attention: whoever can help me…
I will start with a question to you…
How would you feel if your car was at the dealer 3 MONTHS getting repaired?
Well please help me…
My 2015 Corvette Z06 had a problem with the rear wheel coming lose and dislodging the ball joint, axle and rear end.
This happened on April 15th and now it is at the dealer for final assembly and I find out that it's delayed because the differential is back ordered…..
Terra your customer service advisor (592-3327) has informed me that because you are short handed, the investigation department has not even begun looking into this yet after 3 days.
Please help locate this part so I can have my car back. The dealer says that once they get the part, my car will be ready in 3 days.
I am now without a car…
Thank you

gm employee discount not processed by riverside chevrolet escanaba
I purchased a Chevrolet Traverse the end of June 2019. The Finance Manager had me sign two contracts, one including the GM Employee discount and one without the GM Employee discount. He said it was a formality and assured me the contract without the GM Employee discount would NOT be processed. The salesman Mike a wonderful gentleman told me it could take up to seven days for the GM Employee discount number to come to me in the mail. The day I got the number my husband called Mike, at home, gave him the number over the phone and the next day drove to Escanaba and gave the information to Mike. The contract was processed without the employee discount. I called the Finance Manager Rich, twice, explained the problem and never received a call back. Today I went into the dealership and told them to process the correct contract now or take the vehicle back. Immediately they produced the correct contract, with a payment og $40.00 les than the contract they had processed without the employee discount. I asked to speak to Finance Manager Rich's manager, he was not immediately available so I requested he call me at home, it never happened. I am requesting GM investigate Riverside Chevrilet to ensure what happened to me does not happen to another GM employee. Margaret Newman [protected]
auto stop 2019 gmc terrain denali
Good Morning,
My 2019 GMC Terrain Denali unbeknown to me has the Auto Stop feature. When I purchased the vehicle from Baytown GMC Buick I was told it did not have this feature which was good news to me. (not the only misleading info from this dealer.)
Guess what...It does have this feature and it is driving me crazy. It never operates the same, (1) sometimes it does not shut off and maintains about 1000 rpm's which is what I want. (2) sometimes it idles down to about 500 rpm's but does not shut off, this is also acceptable. (3) engines shuts down when coming to a complete stop until brake pedal is released, this can be extremely difficult in Houston, Texas rush hour traffic. I have discussed this issue with owners of other brand (Ford) vehicles and they tell me that they have a switch "A" when set it by-passes this feature.
I am sick of this vehicle and no longer enjoy driving it because of this unnecessary/unwanted feature.
Please direct me in the necessary steps to disable/bypass this feature without effecting my warranty. Thanks, Elvis Young [protected]@comcast.net, [protected], 8623 Summit Pines Drive, Humble, Texas 77346.
2017 gnc 2500
Purchased a brand new 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 last June. We are service company and had a tech in this truck 7-1-19 when it broke down on the side of the road. Shottenkirk in Mt Pleasant IA sent a wrecker, picked it up and let us know later in the day it needs a fuel pump. This is 7-9-2019 and just recieved a call that maybe first of the week there may be one available. Totally unacceptable service from a vehicle giant. Sell vehicles without having a parts inventory? What about all the poor families on vacation stuck away from home with no hope of getting their problem resolved. We will purchase Ford and or Dodge this year as we try and buy one a year.
I did get a case number, 9-[protected] a week ago, like that helped at all.
defective clutch and engine malfunction
In July of 2017 Ipurchased a 2017 Chevrolet Cruz diesel with a 6-speed transmission.
The 1st issued I had was I N January 2019. Driving on the parkway the readout on the screen said loosing power.
Fortunately I was able to pull the car onto the shoulder before it died completely. I was towed to the dealer and it was an issue
With the fuel system. An additive to the fuel was recommended by them but they didn't stock it.
The next major issue was on March 12, 2019 on the parkway. I was in stop and go traffic when I had trouble with the clutch. I
was able to get the car off the parkway when the clutch pedal dropped to the floor. Again I had to be towed to the dealership that I leased the car from. They had the car approximately 30-35 days. They first told me they couldn't e parts and when they did, they was a problem with them.
I cannot remember exactly how many days they had the car because again, on June 19, on my way home from work another error
appeàred. -it was an engine on the screen. Knowing the track record of the vehicle, I exited the Thruway and readin the manual that it was a
malfunction of the engine. I brought it to the dealership again, where it is today (July 8).approximately 3 weeks. They called me several days
ago telling me they still didn't have all the parts that were needed for the repair.
I leased a new vehicles because my old car was 14 years old. I was advised to it was not safe to drive any longer.
Unfortunately the new vehicle isn't any safer than my old car, which, by the way, I never broke down with. Now, when the Cruz is returned to me after the repairs to the engine, I am extremely afraid the vehicle will continue breaking down. I've been very lucky that I was able to safely stop the car without any incidents. I have the car for 2 years, with approximately 20, 000 miles on it. Apparently the car is an unusual combination of a diesel motor with a manual 6-speed transmission, not normally sold in this country, as I was told.
I have purchased many GM products over the years and have never experienced anything like this.
I want you to know the dealership has been very accommodating but I feel this is a situation that GM Corp. has to address.
Your prompt response and communication is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

unethical behaviour
On 6/10/2019 I inquired about a vehicle listed for sale on cadillac of south charlotte's web site. I spoke with adam barnett (nice gentleman) about my needs, trade vehicle, etc. On 6/11/2019 I received a written quote from him to purchase. After some negotiating with alan heidenreich, as adam was off the second day, I received a revised quote the morning of...

I leased this 2017 Acadia on May 15, 2017. It is a 39 month lease and I was told that the first 2 oil changes are part of the warranty service. I made an appointment with Rivard Buick GMC for the second oil change. It was completed on June 4, 2019 and the vehicle had 10363 miles on it. I was told while I was there that the oil change would cost me $43.94 due to the fact the the oil change was only covered if done within 2 years of the date of purchase and I was about 2 weeks past that. I paid the bill but was not happy that I was not aware of that rule. I have leased several GM products, usually 2 year leases, and this is the first time this happened to me. The VIN of the Acadia is 1GKKNKLA3HZ251466. It has about 1 year until the lease is due to end. I don't understand why this was not taken care of. I certainly could have brought it in within the time period had I known.
2010 chevrolet cobalt
I recently noticed my 2010 Chevy Cobalt began leaking fuel near the drivers side rear tire.
It appears that the fuel line maybe worn or rusted causing it to lose fuel. I researched this issue and apparently it is a common problem for this line of cars.
Is there an open recall for this issue, I would expect something as serious as a fuel leak be given some sense of priority.
2017 chevrolet silverado 1500 crew cab ltz - tonneau cover
We purchased this truck on April 7, 2018 from Clay Cooley Chevrolet in Dallas, Texas. On the day of purchase, when we first looked at the truck, we noticed a mildew smell in the truck bed after opening the Tonneau Cover. We told the salesman that we wanted it cleaned up because it had a bad smell. At approximately 9, 650 miles, on February 15, 2019, we took the truck back to Clay Cooley Chevrolet where they kept the vehicle for about one month to monitor and fix the leak. Upon receiving the truck back on March 18, 2019, Clay Cooley Chevrolet informed us that everything was cleaned up and the leak was fixed. That is not the case. (Please see attached service invoice# 513551 from Clay Cooley Chevrolet) On June 12, 2019, we took the truck to Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, Texas to have a knocking noise in the front end looked at, as well as a clanging noise in the transmission when putting the truck in reverse. We informed them of the continued Tonneau Cover leak issue and asked them to please look at it again. On June 21, 2019, when we picked up the truck, we were informed that they did not want to be "included in that issue" and "they were not going to repair the Tonneau Cover leak." (Please see attached invoice# 1033711 from Vandergriff Chevrolet)

electrical system on my 2012 chevrolet traverse
I have a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse, since purchasing this vehicle 3 yrs ago I have had to replace the alternator 4 times and the Battery 2 times, The last replacement was 7/4/2019, while my family and I were traveling across 3 States to see Family, while on the Interstate the volt gage dropped the battery light came on and the vehicle went into battery saver mode causing it slow way down, on the interstate traveling at 70 mph it just lost power, what really has me upset most is my 15 month granddaughter was in the vehicle with us, why is there no recall on this issue? I would think fixing the issue would be cheaper than a lawsuit over the deaths of a family, I know GM is aware of these issues on this unit, but choose to do nothing about it, I have always owned GM vehicles and never experienced any problems as severe as this,
radio not working after I took auto in for recall notices
We had some recall notices on our 2009 Pontiac Vibe. We took the car to the dealer to have these items fixed. Our radio had been working perfectly. When we got the auto back there was nothing but static on all of the stations and also on the cd player. We went back to the dealership (Moritz Chevrolet in Fort Worth, TX) to have this taken care of. Moritz said there would be a cost of $420.00 to have this fixed, even though it had been working perfectly before they did what needed to be done to correct the passenger side air bag.
Our son went to see what was up. The dealership said they thoigh it was the antenna but they were not sure what the problem was. The service manager fooled with the radio and now it somewhat works but if fades in and out repetedly.
Why do we have to pay $420.00 for something that the dealership caused? I am not happy with Moritz Chevrolet and question what they told us. I now wonder how well the repairs were done.
I am looking for some satisfaction regarding this matter. I am retired now but spent 44 years in the workworld mostly dealing with customer. I am stunned on the so called service thet they provided.
Can you hel us somehow?

pickup truck frame rust
Just want to say how disappointed I am with GM in recent years. Been a GM guy since the 1970's and before that my father was a GM guy since the 1940's. What is GM thinking? The quality of GM vehicles is pathetic. From frame rust on your pickup trucks to rattling steering columns and everything in between. And GM refuses to recall or correct any of it. Everyone blames the frame rust on a lack of paint or protection of the metal. Lets put the blame where it belongs. Inferior metallurgy. You have used the bottom of the barrel cheapest steel you can get. If you take a piece of crap and hydroform it, it doesn't matter what you cover it with. As soon as a chip in the protective coating happens, the stink comes out. I have a 2011 HHR with a steering column rattle. The same column as the Cobalt. No recall on the HHR which has the same part as the Cobalt but you claim you haven't had enough complaints on the HHR to recall it. It's the same damn part. It shouldn't matter what model you used it on. Then the icing on the cake. You laid off thousands of Americans to move your interests to China. The very people who bailed you out with our tax dollars and you are sticking right up our back sides. Then you are expecting us to buy your Chinese garbage so you can line your pockets with wealth and send our money overseas. Sorry GM. You are a despicable company and have just given your next sale to the competition. I only hope that the thousands of people you laid off feel the same way. This will probably fall on deaf ears. I hope someone in your organization forwards this to the big shots in corporate.
malibu continuous mechanical issues
At the recommendation of Jim Leichter of Biggers Chevrolet in Elgin Illinois, I am writing to help bring a resolution to issues I have been having with my 2017 Chevy Malibu. As detailed in the attachment, there have been several mechanical issues with the vehicle that, while repaired under warrantee, cause significant concern about the vehicle's reliability once the warrantee expires in approximately 1 year.
All of my encounters with General Motors personnel thus far have been professional and courteous, however the concern about ongoing reliability appears to be beyond what the dealership is willing to do to retain a consumer. I regularly use the vehicle for long distance driving by myself and it is has not performed at a level that one would expect of a Malibu.
To summarize, I am not confident the vehicle will remain reliable beyond the 36, 000 mile warrantee. This is not because the model is of poor design, rather the individual vehicle is flawed and I am seeking reasonable remedy. The request from Biggers Chevrolet is - at no cost to me - to either exchange the vehicle for a similar one of the same year and mileage or, provide an extended warrantee to 100, 000 miles. Thus far Biggers Chevrolet considers the transaction to be like any other trade-in with the associated margins on both vehicles or selling a high margin retail extended warrantee. I expected better than to be insulted with these approaches from Biggers Chevrolet.
I look forward to hearing from a representative of General Motors in the near future and to remaining a General Motors customer.
trying to find a 2007 truck bed panel for the passenger side.
I love the truck a 2007 four door Silverado four wheel drive dually with the duramax Diesel. The only problem is I was hit by a semi three months ago and I'm still waiting on the passenger side pannel for the truck bed. It is an 8 ft bed. I need a truck. I have had a loaner the whole time from Applegate Chevrolet, but I can't haul with it and I need my truck for what is left of the summer. This could definitely effect my next purchase. Tired of waiting
tail light 2016 yukon
I have a GMC Yukon with $45k miles and my tailight intermittently does not work. Hundreds of posts complain about this issue. Dealers can only replace the full taillight assembly for $800, but many side companies offer to fix this for $150 by melting the plastic assembly and soldering a wire between two metal pieces of the circuit that frequently breaks. Why is this not a recall? Who can I discuss this with to understand why gmc is not accepting responsibility for this poor design?
buick encore navigation
Our last 7 vehicles have been GM vehicles. With that said my last three Buick Encores have been with the Navigation option, including my new 2019 which included the $495 navigation option. The previous Encores (2013 & 2016) both included the speed limits on the mapping. My 2019 does NOT!.. My wife's 2019 Buick Envision includes the speed limits on the DIC. I feel that GM goofed when they did the mapping for 2019, leaving off this important feature. GM should give me at no charge either a revised new mapping with the speed limits or an earlier version that does include this feature. Would appreciate a reply on this.
Thank you

service-ray brandt chevrolet biloxi ms 39532
On 6/27/2019, I took 2016 Chevy Trax in for schedule maintenance. Given a price of 49.95 plus tax by Service Advisor Tammy Ray. Was told it woul not be long. After over a hour and an a half...invoice was presented to me for over $100. They added window wiper blades that were not authorized and a 2.50 EPA fee. During process, Service advisor, Matthew Bull, repeatedly said car was being washed and was just about ready. He lied, car came back not being washed. That's my biggest complaint. I won't do business with liars or anyone associated with them. Makes me wonder if tires were rotated, inspection done, and oil changed. I guss I will never know but I do know this you lost me as a customer!
