transfer of our car title to dmv in charlottesville, va
We moved from Arizona to Virginia a year ago.On May, 21 2019 we sent/ faxed our request to obtain information about title to our 2013 Tyota Camry and re-send them to DMV in Charlottesville, VA to register our car here . The customer service representative said, they need additional information from us to process with this request, we then snet another request with informations again on May, 29, 2019 . We called customer service and asked if they received this few days later, again, we heard, that they are sorry, but other repersentatives gave us imcoplete information and we have to send once again with additional informations. Once again, /third time/ we sent / faxed our request, every time @ fax # as requested by GM Financial representative # 1-800-379-7312 - we sent 3-rd time on June, 3, 19 / we have copies of all faxes and proof, that all three went trough/ .Now, they registered our request and told us to wait 4-6 weeks to process - as of today 08/13/19 - today is week 9-th of processing - we called again, because no any info no messssage about our title for 9 weeks, person who introduced herself as a Manager, she wasn't able answer simple answer the question why we waiting for so long, if they received requested informations form DMV in Arizona and how long we still have to wait, after such long processing. We are deeply disappointed for treating your customer this way, there is too much unprofessionalism, misleading informations from different repersentatives and too long waiting time for simple informations and processing basic request for informations about title needed to register our car in a new state where we living . We are sending this complaint for someone to get assistance in our case and to improve customer service for others waiting/ calling - like us - for weeks and months without information and professional assistance. 2015 gmc acadia
At approximately 30, 000 miles vehicle had a 'flutter' in the rpms and speed while driving down the road with cruise control set, check systems light came on. Brought to Elhart GM in Holland, MI as it was under warranty as a certified pre owned vehicle. Elhart claimed there was nothing wrong and no code showed up with the check system light. The vehicle now has approximately 40, 000 miles and I have had the similar incidences occur 3 other times. I have talked to a lot of people and done a lot of research and found that the engine in the Acadia, Traverse, and Enclave has a well documented problem with the timing chain wearing out prematurely causing similar problems as to what I am experiencing. The vehicle needs to be repaired and at the cost of the manufacture as it seems to be a defect with the design of the engine
labor on a 2006 chevy malibu lt
We had our Chevy worked on several times for malfunction of the brake lights, was recalled and a new BCM was installed. Now we are having trouble with it sticking in park. We also had it serviced, said it was a solonoid on the shift tower was sticking, replaced it. It is still doing the same thing. We had a previous GM mechanic check it out and found that it started working when dielectric grease was applied to the BCM.
When the brake is applied the brake lights do not come on.
I called Blaise Alexander about this and was told to have it hauled in and if it was the same problem they would pay half the towing. I will not take it back to them.
We are very disappointed with Blaise Alexander Chevrolet Buick of 113 Walton St. Philipsburg, Pa.16866. We are retired and have a limited income. It cost us a total of $283.53 and we feel it was mis diagnosed wrong and we should not have been charged this amount. Customer # 63977 George and Dolores Hahn

Problem:
I love my new Cadillac 2019 CT6, but this vehicle has a major flaw: the front and back doors will not stay open. All car doors should have a way to keep the door open to allow an owner or occupant to load or unload items in and out of the car without the car door shutting on the individual.
Injury:
My CT6's passenger door do not have this feature listed above. The door shut on me while I retrieving my belongings - the door swung back on me at full force hitting me in the arm causing a major bruise. This is a major problem with the vehicle and should be addressed in future models.
2018 colorado rwd
Has GM got the proper fix yet for the transmission shutter in the Colorado. My Colorado has been doing this for the past few months and has only 7, 000 miles on it. I have been hearing horror stories all over North America about this big problem. I love the truck but is no good to me with this problem. I will be taking to my Local GM dealer tomorrow, Don McCurdy Chev Olds in Trenton Ontario for them to check this big problem out. So I am hoping I will be having better luck than most Colorado owners have been having.
non repair of my truck after 2 weeks (plus) my truck is still in service at chevy of smithtown
My 2014 silverado was towed to smithtown chevrolet on july 30th 2019. The issue was the transmission. My truck was not diagnosed until august 7th 2019... Almost 9 days later. I cannot get them to call me back. The service manager lucas feinberg convinced me to bring my truck into smithtown chevrolet and that his tranny tech was all caught up. I was informed...

This isn't so much a complaint, but to express my extreme dissapontment with GM and their so called Automatic Fuel Management (AFM)system. Six years ago I purchased my dream truck, and what I thought would be my forever truck. Boy was I wrong. At 62, 000 miles I got the check engine light and it was caused by a misfire on 1 cylinder. New plugs and wires, along with other maintance services, and running good again. 30, 000 miles later the truck starts to run rough, but no check engine light. Take it to the dealer and I am told it is misfiring on 4 cylinders and the oil was not even registering on the stick! What! I had the oil changed less than 5, 000 miles before all this happend, at a dealer's shop. As it was explained to me after I took all my previous paper work in, that the 4 cylinders that were misfiring are the 4 that go dormant, when the AFM kickes in and reduces the cylinders from 8 to 4. So 1400 dollars later, I will need to take the truck in for another oil change and maintenance in 3000 miles, and it will basiclly continue to consume oil. It was suggested to me in order to have the truck run in v8 mode continously, I could shift the transmission into Manual and set it to M5. That way it will shift between 1st and 5th gears, but not 6th. (6 speed transmission) Or, I could have the AFM disabled. I have researched this issue on many Chevy on-line forums and this is a problem of all GM products with the AFM system. Shame on you GM for not addressing this issue and to continue to sell vehicles with this so called technology and knowing that it fails.
2500 gm and chevy
I'm finally deciding to buy my forever truck for retirement (pulling boat and camper) and decided to continue my Chevy loyalty/tradition. We need at least a 2500 and after multiple searches and test drives we realized none of them have a/c vents/controls for the rear passegers. How can a luxury truck over $60k not offer this? It breaks my heart but it looks like I have to buy a Ford. Sorry Chevy (GM).
From another Long time GM Owner, You'll Probably be allot happier . I own a GMC Sierra Denali 6.2, at 32, 000 started falling apart and now at 36, 000 needs 4 to 5 grand in repairs . GM answer / response is to offer a 1 grand voucher toward the purchase of another GM product . ( yeah like that will ever happen again ) If you took notice once you logged into this site you should notice the amount of Complaints VS the amount of Resolved .
2019 gmc sierra at4
I purchased a new 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 in May. I drove the truck less than 5, 000 KM and had to take it back to the dealer as the brake controller module failed.
After waiting 4 hours in the dealers customer lounge I was told it had to be taken off the road for safety reasons.
The truck has been off the road for 9 weeks now going on 10 soon. I have voiced my complaints to GM Canada several times with no positive results. All they do is apologize and do not take the necessary steps to make me happy. My file is under review.
The last message GM Customer Care left me on Friday was they were passing my file to a parts specialist. Really! it took 9 weeks to do this! Unbelievable!
Step up to the plate GM Canada and get me a new truck!
I also want all my money back on a vehicle I have not enjoyed or used.
I did a little investigation on my own and this is a know issue on all 2019 GM GMC and Chevrolet pickups.
I am surprised from the information I reviewed someone has not been seriously injured or killed in an accident.
I want the public to know this so you dont go through the same situation I am in.
I wanted to purchase a Furrion S7 wireless rear view backup camera for my RV trailer. The RV dealer installed the camera and after many attempts and calling Furrion support, I was informed by my RV dealer this is a know issue with all new 2019 GMC and Chevrolet pickups that there is a 12v issue from 7 pin trucks connection. Apparently it cant hold a constant 12v charge needed to operate the camera properly. On all GM prior year pickups there is no issue. GM is doing nothing about it to make all RV customers who use GM pickups to pull their recreational RV's happy. So much for GM's claim they are listening to their customers who use their pickups to pull trailers and want to make it easier for them. Yes GM is listening to us with deaf ears!
Hopefully Furrion will step up as GM is not!
2017 silverado 1500 6.2 midnight edition
Hi, i bought a brand new 2017 silverado 4x4 6.2 v8. I noticed that the transmission was jumpy between 1st and 2nd gear, so i contacted my dealer in elk river, mn they said not to worry about it. in the last year or so i am noticing more down shift clunking noises when decelorating, from second gear to first, this is not normal to me. when i am excellorating slowly from 1st gear to 2nd there is a clunk n oise in the shifting, very unfriendly user driving in tight spaces ect, clunks into gear. is there any upgrade fix to this problem? ive talked to several dealers and they all acknowledge this problem. I love my truck, but this shifting problem bothers me, you can feel the clunk in the drive train back to the rear end. please get back to me on this ok? 2018 sierra - poor sales and service dept.
I will need a call back on this issue. as I am sure I am not saying all that I want to say or needs saying.
[protected] Douglas Giammona.
I purchased a new 2018 Sierra in May. It ran like the 4 tires were square. your sales guy says it has to be broken in which we know was BS but I gave it a try. Finally after more than a month of wanting something done I got it into service.
Service guy had mechanic verify bad tires from sitting the lot for a year. Made appointment to come back following week to have things corrected.
Service guy now gone no longer works there. new one, Peggy, says we start over. his records should have been there why are we starting over.
Now at first she says nothing wrong with the tires and its a motor issue. hey your the pros, go for it but after spending 50 k on this truck it better drive like a 50 k truck (100 % smooth) when you give it back.
Just got an email from peggy saying shes been trying for 3 days to contact me. LIES. one time 2 calls on 8/6. and I was busy at work to take the call. Now an email that I did respond to, A email that she needs to learn how to speak to customers !.
I am going to pick up my truck after work today... I expect it to be to 100% perfection to my satisfaction. Ask her for the email communication. You'r customer service team at sterling Buick in Venice FL have a LOT to learn !
They are real sweet as they shaft you as buying the vehicle and its all down hill after that.
Please I expect follow up and to hear back from a VP up there. I expect the truck to be perfect thank you.

gmc customer service
Bought a 2018 GMC Terrain new in June of 18. Car has been in the shop 10 times in 13 months for a multitude of issues such as: molding falling off on day 1, hood and fenders out of alignment causing the entire front end to be taken of, realigned and repainted, a brake recall, a major oil leak caused by faulty seal, a major transmission issue causing me to lose power on a major highway nearly causing a wreck. a faulty seal on the rear tail light causing it to fill with water, then another water leak from faulty seals on the door roof area resulting in water leaking into the wires under the dash, onto the floor, and onto the upper airbag. Then there were 2 repairs to the radio navigation system which will now go in a 3rd time as we are waiting for parts, just to name a few.(The navigation went out while I was on vacation. Needless to say I was really happy about that.) I have contacted GMC customer service 3 times about my lose of faith in this vehicle. They blow a bunch of smoke up your [censored] and tell you how important you are as a customer of over 30 years and how they want to make it right. You are referred to a "Senior Adviser" and will get back to you in 5 days. Bottom line 5 days later they call back and say there is nothing they can do. I then send a letter to GMC corporate explaining all the issues and tell them I want out of this nightmare and am willing to trade it in for another one. 12 days later I had to track these people down only to be told there is nothing they can do, but...now get this, "we will honor the warranty" REALLY this is your response you will honor the warranty ! Like they are doing me a big favor. Horrible customer service. I have already contacted ABC Channel 7 news consumer complaints department in Chicagogo
2015 Equinox Paint peeling on all 4 wheels
I took the van in for a wax job and all 4 wheels the paint is peeling and it looks terrible. I feel wheels paint should certainly last more than 4 years. I assume there was either poor primer or bad paint.
I also have a 2010 Equinox and the wheels are fine.
Looking forward to getting this resolved as I am a big fan of the Equinox
[protected]@mjmc.com
GM knows allot of their vehicles wheels have problems . I own a Denali which has the very Expensive specialty chrome wheels . The Chrome is peeling off like Cheap paint on a old house ! Plus there is another problem with the sneaky GM corp . I was informed by the Executive Customer Support Liaison ( as he called Himself, LOL ) That the EXTENDED WARRANTY we purchased no longer covers anything GM deems to be a COSMETIC PROBLEM ! Peeling / Fading Paint, Chrome peeling, Interior cracks ( like Dash Boards ) all Cosmetic and not covered . Bet no one was told that when they were sold the extended Warranty !
This site owned by GM gives themselves a 1 star rating, complaints over 1100 and they have resolved just " 3 "
leaf springs
I have a GMC Sierra SLT 2015 with a 110, 000km on it and I was driving and hearing clonking noises coming from the back of the truck. I took this into my local GM dealer and they told me it was my leaf springs, I had extended warranty but that didn't cover it. I couldn't believe this was $1100.00 CAD and nothing was covered under warranty. My neighbor owns the same truck but 2 years older and he hauls around a 5 ton trailer everyday and his leaf springs are fine. I've been buying GM trucks for 20yrs and never had this problem before, I had a Chevy Avalanche and put over 300, 000km on it and never had leaf springs go on it, I used to carry 2000 lbs in that truck. The truck I have now has never been loaded with weight and never pulled a trailer with it. I'm very upset with this product as these leaf springs should not have gone already, I think GM should definitely pay a good portion of this?
2015 buick encore
I HAVE HAD TO HAVE REPLACED A PCV VALVE COVER(LEAKING)($301.00).
AIR CONDITIONER(COVERED UNDER PURCHASED( WARRANTY)
OIL SPOUT(MELTED)$60.00
TURBO(COVERED UNDER PURCHASED WARRANTY)
CATAYLITIC CONVERTOR($1, 104.36).
So with the typical $80.-$100.00 every couple of month oil changes.
$500 a month on my zero per cent auto loan.
Insurance of $200. on this vehicle.
I hate to see the issues that will be coming in the next 100K miles.
From what I have read the turbo is going to cause a catylitic convertor failure. The dealer tells me this is not so.
However the dealer also related that they can not keep catalytic convertors in stock for this make and model of my vehicle.
I change my oil regularly and have replaced all of the tires and wipers.
I have just under 100K miles on my car.
I want GM/Buick to look into reimbursing me on this Catalytic Convertor please.
I have called and spoke with a representative at 1-800-521-7300. Michelle [protected].
Please forward this on to Mary Barra/CEO.
Thank You,

2017 gmc sierra...14000 miles
I am experiencing a "Service Trailer Brake" warning. My truck has been a Speck GMC in Kennewick, Wa for 3 days and was told they don't know what to do about it. The truck has now been at Swain GMC in Hermiston, Or now for 2 weeks and it is still not fixed. And I was told that "this one is a fun one". Not fun for me. It looks to me that no one has a clue as to what to do. An Attorney informed me that my truck will shortly me qualified under the Lemon law. My current summer activities have been put on hold due to this truck (under warranty) being as useless as a Prius . What is GM going to do?
recall
I recieved a recall notice May 2019, N182206311, block heater causing a fire. This is certainly a large safety concern. Contacted dealer who said they haven't recieved part to fix problem. Recall letter said I would be notified when part was available. When are you going to fix my truck. Driving a $72, 000 2019 Sierra Denali that may catch fire this fall/winter when I use the block heater.
Don't hold your breath, I own a Sierra Denali, I only have 36, 000 on it, started falling apart at 32, 000 .
It needs 4 to 5 grand in repairs, GM offered me a 1 Grand Voucher to purchase another GM product . I guess GM think my Industrial Grade Pickup is wore out at 36, 000 and I need to buy another one NOT !

navigation upgrade dvd for 2012 corvette
My factory navigation system is not useable due to unavailability of update DVD. I have searched on line, at gmdavdisc, and at Denso Corporation to no avail. The original GM part number is 22820294. Otherwise my 2012 Corvette has been a pleasure to own and drive. All maintenance has been performed at Henna Chevrolet in Georgetown, TX with excellent service. Please tell me how to get a functional navigation update. Thank you!
afm on 5.3l engine.
Hello I would like to thank you guys for the worst design ever. Active fuel management has failed on our 2013 chevy tahoe 5.3 and conveniently just out of warranty and barely 100k miles. We have no money to replace the engine, and still owe 12k on it. Now we are screwed. All my life ive loved chevrolet and always have owned them. This disaster came at the worst time possible. I want this issue fixed. This is [censored] you produce this system designed to fail. We are hard working americans and worked so hard to get the vehicle of our dreams and it turns out to be a piece of [censored]. You guys are lucky i dont have any money to sue because this is [censored]. Thanks alot. Sincerely a hardworking american [censored]ed over by General Motors.
2019 gmc sierra at4
After having my new vehicle for 3 weeks with less than 4500 KM. I had to take it back to the dealer as there were error messages on my dash concerning the brakes.
After spending 4 hours in the dealers waiting room they inform me the vehicle has to be taken off the road as it is.not safe to drive. Inwas told the brake controller module had to be replaced.
Two weeks pass and no part yet. Four weeks pass and I am told the part is.coming from the US and the place where it ships from is on strike.
Its now going on 9 weeks new vehicle has been off the road. Still no part. I log a complaint to GM Customer Care and all I get is apologies. Are you F'ing kidding me! I'm paying $1000. per month in finance payments and do not have the enjoyment of my vehicle.
Why are you not stepping up to the plate GM to resolve this? Its left a very bad opinion of GM. Take the truck back! I should have bought a Ford!
