Green Dot Prepaid visa card denied transactions everywhere

01/20/2019-01/21/2019 purchased a pre paid visa debit card. Deposited $120.00 cash and paid fee. Tried to use card online at least a dozen times every single transaction declined. I called and was told that I had to wait one hour and they would release the last transaction only for just a couple of dollars but took their fee, robbers. When I called back I was told that a file number was attatched and the technical team was looking it over? Why it is my money! So they not only won't speak to me at all they took my money, I can't get it back because I can't use it or go to a atm, and every transaction has to be approved by them first? Who do they think they are holding my money. I have contacted a lawyer, the nj states attorney general and the us banking dept. They have committed fraud and are a bunch of theives.

Green Dot prepaid debit visa card

My son got a Walmart gift card for his graduation. Mind you he has special needs. In order to activate his gift card we had to turn it into a debit card. As soon as it was activated $5 was taken from the $50 balance. Activated in Oct. tried to use it in January. Couldn't because I didn't have a pin number. It was never sent to me. When I called to try and get the pin I was told my balance was $30. They basically stole money every month for fees. Really? For doing what. People get these cards as gifts and green dot makes it so hard to contact and help you, you finally give up because its a constant run around and you say well it was a gift anyway I didn't use my money. So green dot steals. If you don't use it instantly then you lose your money. They should be sued and shut down. Its a disgrace. I will get that money back someway somehow I tell you. And I will tell everyone I know not to deal with this company.

Green Dot getting my card unlocked; greendot visa

Been with greendot over 10 yrs. Have a visa and mastercard. Recently lost my husband over christmas 2018. Went to use my visa january 2019 once it was fine, went to go check balance few days later was told account blocked. Rep ask questions to verify my info. Everything was correct except my phone number. I informed is was probably an old phone number. I asked what I needed to do to verify my account info, but was told they could not help me without me verifying the info. All I wanted to know was what info they needed to fix this issue and they just keep repeating the script. I was blocked from calling and even though I sent emails with info I received no response. Asked for a supervisor and they lied saying they were the supervisor. I would never recommend this card to anyone! They have the worst customer service ever! I have worked in customer service for over 30yrs. The stress of trying to get my second account unblocked after my husband had just died! Never again. Please don't put your money in greendot!

I bought a card an invested 30.00 to activate. when I went to use it online it failed to show credit. my name is Robert j Zarrella my card account is [protected] bank transfer to account number [protected] my debit card number [protected] plz verify this action email me plz on success or dispute I been using greendot for a year an more large amount of money an small purchase online an ebay used it it in casinos an dollor stores an grocery markets need to correct this misunderstanding

Green Dot paid 30.00 for activate green dot debit card

I bought a greendot card from supermarket for 30.00 and didn't see any money on card I have invoice of transaction and routing number an accout I have been refused the money when ask for it on phone an web... Green Dot my card is locked

They are the worst.. I returned some parts to Advance Auto and had the refund put on my green dot prepaid mastercard...

They locked my card for a refund never heard of such nonsense.. Ive called since November and each person I talk to and end up cussing gives me a different email to send my receipt to verify... Yet I still haven't received my $$$... I call again and they say they never received my email or I sent the wrong thing ...

my name is Riham nawar I purchased a green dot load and go on10/22/2018 and I tried a lot to activate the card online everytime they said it's not valid i e mail the company and there no responsed so please all i need is my 95 dollar back or activate my card that's my number [protected] or email me at [protected]@yahoo.com I have the recipe and even wallgreen said they cant do anything about it even there is no person I can talk to by phone

Green Dot intuit prepaid visa card

My tax refund of over 1600.00 has been held from me for 3 months despite their requests of me to upload tax id number in which I have uploaded 7vtimes and they have confirmed they have. My original card was in my wallet along with photo Id and ss card which was stolen hence their request I send tax id. Plz help . I have been evicted and am penniless. Green Dot loaded $1000 in 5 loads and green dot blocked my card

I would advise against anyone using greendot serves they will lock your money up for no reason and! Look I want my money unlocked or send me a check in the mail to my address on my account I would advise you to do this asap are I will be fileing a law-suite on greendot for scamming my out of my money. I have sent many pictures of my only state id card I have, I have given all the information to my account to greendot and I am at a stoping point I have a very sick mom who's medicine I have to buy with the money that was on that card now my mom is really sick and on the way to the er at uab hospital in birmingham alabama all because she could not buy her medicine with my greendot card that greendot locked up for no reason now I have more bills to pay all because greendot locked my card up for loading $1000 on it in 5 loads now it says nothing about I could not load $1000 on my card in 5 loads and greendot gives up to 7 loads a week so i'll go now and check on my very sick mom that only I care about and i'll pray for greendot that nothing bad happens to my mom!?

I had my first social security payment put on my green card and they locked my card. They requested documents which I emailed a week ago. Now they block my calls when I try to get an answer. They will not answer at the corporate office. Any suggestions on how to get my money ?

Green Dot moneypak scam

I have had it with moneypak. It's a total scam. Rigged up just to take your money. Never fails, your not going to get your money.. This time only $120.00. Reason is, & this is after the first & only attempt at loading $ onto my card. (not able to verify identity) really? Did not give me an option of submitting identification, reciept, not anything outside of request a refund. I am looking into hiring an attorney. I have all reciepts, proof purchase, every single piece if evidence needed to show these people are crooks. You try to call cust. Service, thats another joke. Something needs to be done, especially abiut false advertisment. Some people cant wait forever & need there $. My name is leslie johnson, [protected]. Please contact me. Letting me know what to do

Green Dot green dot visa

On 11/26/2018 I purchased a prepaid Green Dot VISA card at a Safeway grocery store. After registering the card I tried using the card online, it was card is declined. When trying to call customer service. All I get get is a recording and then I get hung up on.
The next day I tried to use it at the place I purchased the card. After the $8.00 monthly fee was removed from my balance, I had a balance of $62. I tried buy some $2 eggs and get $59 cash back. Again the card was declined. When I got home I tried calling customer service, again I could not get pas the recording and I got hung up on.
Then I checked with the Better business bureau and found 650 complaints against Green Dot, mostly relating to fraud and thrift. Then I really started to worry. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. At this point I don't know what else to do.

Green Dot digital gifts paypal

unautorize use of my card was used. two purchaseses were made on11-15-2018 of or from digital gifts through paypal 100 dollars each I don't know what this is and the email that I found says [protected]@outlook.com I donot know who this is.i open a case through pay pal and they saidthey were denying my case.and they are the one who emailed me about unusual activity on my paypal account the order numbers are 3uj794727h645903r this I the other one 85376502k3852703f I did not order these gift card s this is fraud. my reference #[protected] my email [protected]@yahoo.com my name is pamela dickerson

Green Dot no resolve

2 weeks to present unable to use card PRIMOR CARD $1500 credit declined every where. GDCS says no activity is seen on my acct including declined activity. GDCS Supr started an inquiry about this and sent a questionnaire to VISA . I called VISA which informed they did not block my card and 3 times put me to green dot and also explained they were not responsible. long story short i have been promised call backs. . I have been informed by EVERY SINGLE CALL after that it must be VISA and there is nothing GREENDOT can do and literally silence on the phone they expect me to just say ok and that should be adequate enough. my card is useless. I obviously want to be able to use use my card. why cant green dot see my declined transactions? it seems no one has control of my account. i need advisement on how to proceed!

please explain why you do not have (at least for Credit Cards) NO Contact email support at all NO 24/7 live support customer service Your automated telephone system rudely ends the call (hangs up)on weekends reminding me you don t have any live 24/7 customer service

Green Dot fraudulent charge on my card

I have been using my greendot visa card on a daily basis for transportation to work, doctors visits etc, and is Extremely important to me. Yesterday I loaded my last $40 onto my card to insure rides to and from work for the week and this morning there was .29 left. An unauthorized charge for $34.95 was made to ECHST. NET. Com. I contacted Greendot and was informed that they couldn't do anything about it at this time because the charge was pending, and to call them back it it goes through and they will file a dispute.
The bottom line is I'm out the money on my card, Im telling them I Didn't authorize this charge, so why can't they cancel it? They asked me if I want to cancel this card and get a replacement... Why would I even want to continue to use their card when my money is not protected.

Green Dot my money that has been blocked. I really need my money

Yes I have been complaining complaining because it seems like every document that i send in is not ledgeable and i know that i can read them and you should be able to read them to because i have done sent over and over again.I got another card from you in the mail that i can put money on but why would i when you want even give me my money on this card.i really feel like i am being ripped off by greendot .com

Green Dot direct deposit of college financial aid

I received a direct deposit from my college on 11/13/18, Green Dot informed me that the deposit was suspicious and they were holding the funds for 24 hours. I later received a request for my ID and proof of direct deposit. I sent all the information requested and have not heard anything. Today is 11/14/18 and more than 24 hours after the deposit came in, my funds are still not available and Green Dot is impossible to get in touch with, I have been on hold now for 54 minutes.

Green Dot bank account was hacked!!!

Thank you so much for allowing a hacker steal the last $300 out of my bank account. I tried calling the number on my card for 45 minutes today but got zero results. I tried emailing support through your system but got zero results. I now have no money for the next 2 weeks to support my family. Thank you so much for no help at all!

After I filed a written dispute of the send money feature green dot called to verify that I didn't know the person to whom the money was sent. I told them I didn't know the person and that my account was hacked! Green got told me the transaction was initiated in texas, I live in nebraska. Now once I filed a bbb complaint they are now claiming that the transaction was initiated at my ip address!

I provided proof that I was hacked! They denied the dispute and kept my $300! I have documented proof that I was hacked, and that I called green dot immediately! And yet they still denied my dispute and stole my money! I've filed complaints with the ftc, police dept. Consumer affairs and I will keep filing complaints

Green Dot my money on a card that you have blocked

Yes this is my new address 604 Quail Hollow Drive apartment C Warsaw 28398 this is pictures of my new LICENCES front and back .And I would really appreciate it if you would add my $115.and some change back on my card.I have done everything that i can and sent pictures after pictures and i need my money back please.Because i don't have money to put on my card and then you going to block my new card that you send me and then turn around and send me another card that's not blocked but why would you even think that I would put my money on that card when I can't even get my money off of the one that you have blocked, makes no sense to me whatsoever.I am in need of my money that is on that blocked card.I have absolutely nothing to my name.In Jesus name I pray.

Case #[protected] I purchase a card and thought I put $50.00 on it to find out the money was not put on the card and now I can not pay my bills the hole reason for getting this card here is the picture of the card and recipient I would like to get this money on the card or something if I can't get this matter resolved I will contact the better business bureau and a lawyer please contact my at [protected]@yahoo.com or by phone at [protected] thank you
