Exceptional Customer Service from Growace: Shoutout to Christian!
So, I was trying to get my hands on this pre-order/back-ordered item from Growace. I called them up to check if it was available yet. The guy on the phone told me that the shipment had just arrived and that the website hadn't been updated yet. But, he was super helpful and pushed my order through right then and there. His name was Christian, and he was a real lifesaver.
I gotta say, if the product is as good as the customer service, then I'm gonna be one happy camper. I mean, it's not every day that you get such great service from a company. It really makes a difference, you know? Like, I feel like they actually care about me as a customer.

So, I had a really bad experience with Growace. They took my money for my order and then two days later they told me that my email was involved with fraud and put my order on hold. I was really upset because I was looking forward to getting my order. They wanted me to send pictures of my driver's license and credit card front and back, but I didn't want to do that because I don't send photos to anyone. I asked them if there was anything else they could use to verify my identity, but they said no. They even asked me if I had an alternate email address, but I don't have one.
Then they said they could put a small deposit in my account and I could call or email the amount. I thought that was weird, but I did it anyway. After I emailed them the amount, they still weren't satisfied and once again wanted photos of my driver's license and credit card. I was really frustrated at this point and told them to cancel my order. But they gave me the run around and didn't want to give me my money back.
I had to file a complaint with my credit union and threaten Growace to get my money back. It was a really horrible experience and I would never do business with them again. I hope that other people don't have to go through what I went through.

Growace has been a bit of a disappointment for me. I had some issues with my HPS yield lab 1000w wing reflector and ballast, and they sent me a replacement bulb. I received an incomplete order (totaling almost $500, a big purchase in my books) IN APRIL, and sent them all of the info on the missing pieces and I was assured my corrected order would be shipped out right away. I didn't hear anything for weeks, and when I finally asked again, customer service emailed be back and THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HAD TAKEN NO ACTION TO CORRECT MY ORDER, even though a whole month had passed... I am so livid. Here we are in June and this was an order placed in early April. I have tried to call their support lines and speak to someone, but it doesn't even give me the option of waiting hours to speak with someone, it just says they are only doing email support right now. I ordered Garden stakes..I was supposed to get them Sept 19. They never came. tracking showed still sitting at a fedex facility. I called for over a month the customer service line where they gave me claim number after claim number telling me i had to wait for fedex to finish the claim. This is not my fault i paid for the item and requested by then to resend another set or give me money back. Still told i had to wait. i continued to check and went to voicemail no one ever answered. Tracking says delivered sept 25 2020 and thats not true! im still fighting for my money back as i dont want ANY of these fools product! Please help

I should have come here first. I purchased a grow kit. I was missing several items including- the grow light! Yes, I had to call to get the light (or A LIGHT) shipped. So basically, they sent me some dirt and a tent. Ridiculous. Now, that I've received a light that sells for about 400 dollars less than the one that was listed as included with the kit. Oh, and here's the kicker, they removed their phone number from their website and the number I used when I had to call to get a light shipped doesn't work anymore. Beware, buyers. Right now, I'm continuing going back and forth with them via e-mail which seems to be answered once every three days. All I ask for is what I paid for. Too much?

On 5/11, I ordered a box of gloves from this company. The company sent me an email for the tracking number with FedEx which is *** On 6/3, the package was delivered. I have attached my order confirmation that shows the address I requested to have the item shipped to. The item was supposed to be delivered on Addison, TX. Per the tracking, it was delivered to The Colony, TX. I don't know who caused this mix up (if it was FedEx or Grow Ace). I also attached the email conversation, I had with Grow Ace. I requested a full refund. In their response, they advised me to file a police report and they opened a claim with FedEx. I did confirm with FedEx that the claim is open. However, in my email to Grow Ace I requested a full refund. I no longer want this item. I already had to wait a month to have it delivered, when it was delivered it was sent to the wrong address, and I don't have the time or patience to wait another month for ONE BOX OF GLOVES.

I ordered an item on 2/12 after contacting the company to make sure they had the item in stock. As of 2/18 i had not received any shipping information, so I called them and was told it had not been shipped yet, but the individual would contact the warehouse and get the information and call me back. The next day,2/19, I did not get a call back, so I called again and was told that it still had not shipped and they had emailed the warehouse but had not received shipping information. I told them I needed follow up the next day by phone to let me know the tracking information for the shipment. I was assured I would get a call back. That was 5 days ago and I have not received a phone call or email with any additional information. I have been on hold with them again today 2/24 for 20 minutes with no answer. This item is $244.54. I think they are giving customers the run around and they don't seem to have any issues taking customers money and not shipping the items.

It seems that for years, that this company is known for charging your card immediately and never sending the product. They are skilled at giving the run around via the friendlies at customer service. I have finally disputed the charge on my card, as I have only received lip service, not the order for $289.58 that I was charged for and told that would be shipping immediately. A word of caution, their website currently shows these items in stock and available for order. This seems to be a common thread in the reviews, however no one ever gets their merchandise. They are not truthful. In addition, during this time of Covid-19, they have raised the price the gloves that attempted to purchase April 4th (and was told that they were in stock and would ship immediately) from $17.00 a box to $24.95 a box (on sale for $19.95). During this time of Covid-19 and small businesses suffering greatly, they have charged my card and only give the run around when I call.
