I went in for a free consultation on 9-28-23. I did a virtual consultation with a doctor name Vanessa/Virginia, one of the two names. However, I made her aware I couldn’t agree to service due to a situation. She asked me for my personal information as if she was asking to just take down information for future reference.
I’m thinking the clinic is offering a program within their program because I was told I didn’t have to make a payment for two months if I started now and I could start treatments. This was exciting news.
After arriving home I received a call from Experian that my credit was ran and had an inquiry. That’s when I emailed the clinic to cancel.
Two days I received a response thst I needed to do a second step to cancel. Upon receiving the cancellation form I noticed the refund box was empty. “ another scam”. I signed because it said the lenders would be refunded. After signing, that’s when they send me a copy saying only a portion would be refunded. So basically, I’d still owe the lender.
The lender is currently, reporting in my credit with a balance owed. This balance is for a machine I never received from the clinic. A machine I never agreed to. Now I will have bad credit because I’m not paying the lender. HAIR CLUB needs to reimburse 100% of cost due to running my credit without my permission.
They took advantage of my situation and needs to FIX it immediately. I just fixed my credit and now HAIRCLUB VERY UNETHICAL COMPANY IS MESSING IT UP!
