lil smokies beef sausage
i am finding chunks of bone and gristle in my lil smokies
Bistro bites
I bought several bistro bites by Hillshire Farms from a Winn Dixie in St. Simons, GA. The cheese in each product was moldy, despite it being well before the best by date. I did not notice an visible warning signs on the meat, but did not trust it to try it. I am very disappointed as these were supposed to be easy grab and go snacks but only led to an empty stomach when this was the only thing I packed for a long work day.
Desired outcome: Replacement of purchase and better standards.

Honey Ham
Bought Hillshire Honey Ham from BJ's on December 12, 2020 ... package said use by 12/30/2020.
The first pouch of the ham was good but the second pouch was opened on December 19, 2020 ... the entire pouch of ham was slimy so I had to toss.

Ham
We always buy Hillshire Hams for Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving the best ham ever! This year for thanksgiving we bought our usual Hillshire ham and it was the driest and chewiest I have ever had not good! We spent about $30 on it and was terrible didn't know if there was a problem with the pig or if they are always going to be bad from now on?
Beef Hot Links
I purchased this product with the confidence that I would be totally satisfied. I grew up eating Hillshire Farms and enjoyed various products. I am now a senior and felt that I could still rely on the quality of these products. Unfortunately that has changed since I purchased these Hot Links. I cooked my link and the moment I bit into it I was a bone...

I barely opened my packet or pastrami and I noticed it was turning brown but someone did tell me that pastrami is still good like that but I looked at it longer and stared at it but then I noticed it looked green and I had a few bites before I saw that it was green and then I looked at the expiration date and it doesn't say it expired til March 5 2020. And I had barely perchased this item last week from winco in Apple valley California

Speedway Claim number-1210984-T3F0]
I chipped a tooth on a Polish Dog, I purchased from a Speedway gas station. I am told this is your product and the claim was forwarded to you. I have patiently waited for a response from, Speedway and they have done what Corporations do and drug their feet. I would appreciate your help in expediting this matter.
Thank You,

ultra-thin pastrami
I weekly purchase this product for lunch sandwiches and the container I bought most recently has the most gristle and fat that I have seen. There is often some fat but this package was terrible. The number above the bar code was 1917784/99051463 and bar code #44500 98470. I purchased this from Wal-Mart. I can send a picture if needed.

hillshire farms smoked beef sausage/tough outer casing cannot bite through it
May 4, 2019, fixed hoagies to eat for supper. Went to eat and could not bite through or even tear the casing of the sausage. Never had this problem with other products from other companies. It is bad when you have to take your fingers to tear the casing just to get to the product. This was a waste of my money as we had to throw away our food and find something else to eat. It is really a shame when you want something and end up throwing it away. I wouldn't say much but when you have to purchase all beef sausage, it is not cheap by any means and I feel like I have wasted my time and money on this product.
product spoiled over 1 month before use by date!
I purchased the above pastrami from Wal-Mart in Delavan, WI on March 15th, 2019 and first used/opened the product on March 19th, 2019. All was good - I made several sandwiches between 03-19-19 and 03-22-19 with no problems. On 03-24-19 I was making a grilled pastrami and cheese sandwich, only to find that the pastrami - (which was in the original packaging and in the original plastic container), was grey and spoiled.

I have used your products for many years and this is the first time that one of your products ever spoiled! Especially one month early!?
Very disappointed, Jim Medearis!
ultra thin oven roasted turkey breast
The pictures do the damage justice. I opened a new package of turkey breast deli meat on November 27 and saw an awful sight. I gag every time I look at the picture. It is absolutely disgusting! I am highly considering not purchasing "meat" from Hillshire any longer.
I bought this turkey on November 25th for sandwiches this week. Well, that definitely did not happen!
I expect a refund in the mail as soon as possible. I am truly disgusted! Please, look into whatever this harmful thing may be.
I too, on August 1, 2019 purchased the thin sliced turkey, and I also purchased for sandwiches for the kids; especially being summer and the kids are attending camp. Mine was spoiled or sour. It was slimy when opening the package. So I am thinking, it may be something they are using or not using with the thin meat. I say this because my package stated use by August 8, 2019.
I had to get up and go out and repurchase meats and then drive to each childs camp to take them lunch. It was a hectic day and again I was HOT (and just not from the summer heat!)
I will now by meats that are dated at least a month in advance BEFORE their expiration date.
lite polska kielbasa
Scu [protected]. Use by 3/2/2019. P243504B bought in brockport NY 14420 wegmans.
When eating this sausage we found large pieces of bone. I bit into one and when I pulled it out saw that it was sharp and jagged. I'm lucky it didn't get stuck in my gum or roof of my mouth. We are very disappointed we have bought this item before and not had this problem. this is quit a big and sharp piece and really could have been a bad situation had I bitten it at a different angle or worse had it gotten stuck in my throught!
ultra thin honey ham
Ham has large chunks of fat and is inedible. I have never had ham with this amount of fat in when buying this product before. I can't eat this product because of all the fat. Why would this product get through your line as it is not edible. I don't have a lot of money and decided to get ham for breaksfast and once I opened the package I realized that it was not edible. There are large chuncks of fat through out each piece as I looked to see if it was just a few pieces. I can slice in the container of filled with fat. This is unacceptable, and I want someone to contact me about the product.
I have to trash this product as it is inedible. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.
ultra thin honey ham
I just opened a container of your honey ham and after eating a sandwich and going for another I noticed pieces of BLUE plastic throughout the balance of the package! This is unacceptable in the food industry of todays marketplace. I put my faith in name brand products to feed me and my family for the simple reason of expecting quality of a higher level. This needs to be delt with immediately!
polska kielbasa
I purchased a Polska Kielbasa on Aug 4 2018 at the Walmart in Sumter SC. The package remained refrigerated and unopened until August 12. Upon opening the package and placing in the pan, my spouse said the outer casing of the Kielbasa felt rough. As she was walking to the sink to wash her hands she felt movement on her fingers. When she looked down, there were small maggot like worms crawling on her hands. She washed and went to the pan with the Kielbasa and they were all over the sausage. She threw the pan and the package contents in the garbage and put in the can outside. This has never happened to us before, we have Hillshire Farms occassionally with breakfast, but after today, no more. This really infuriates me, I'm surprised this level of contamination could occur in a sealed cooked product. I just hope someone else did not eat this same lot of sausage. I do not have the package lot number as I wasnt going to dig through the trash to get it out.
smoked kielbasa links
Have been a loyal customer of this brand and its smoked kielbasa links for 35+ years. But the last few times I have bought the product I have noticed the links have gotten smaller, and no longer fit on a regular sized hot dog bun. Not that this is the only product which has shrunk over the years, but since this product no longer will fit on a regular sized hot dog bun unless I put two of the links on one bun, I have decided it is time to say good bye to Hillshire Farms. I will no longer be buying the product unless Hillshire returns to the larger size links I have been use too.
hair
I recently went to the grocery store down the road from my house. I started my grocery shopping when I got the the deli meat selection I picked up Hillshire Farms Smoked Ham and turkey. We have always bought this in the past and have had great results. The expiration date was 2/5/2013. After dinner one night my husband was still hungry and decided to eat the ham. He took a bite, looked down and notice a HUGE pile of Thick, course hair! I have never had something so disgusting happen to me in my life and for that I will NEVER buy HillShire product again! I really hope this never happens to anybody else!
I have also attached a photo!
foreign debris in meats
I purchased your smoked ham lunch meat at my local Walmart this week. Found several bright blue ?plastic shavings embedded in the lunch meat. Of course this was found after eating one sandwich using this meat, and upon investigation there were several more pieces of blue plastic in the same tub of lunch meat.
I have kept the container and foreign debris and product, and would like a refund and apology. I would like someone to look at where this debris came from.
Package of Hllshire Farms - Lil Smokies sausages, after cooking while eating a piece there was something that I bit into that was hard and sharp and cut the inside of my gums. I spit out the un eaten part and found a small white piece of bone? I saved the uneaten portion and contacted this site.
I found plastic string in my ultra thin ham. I hope I didn't swallow any because it is real long and you can;t break it with your fingers. I pulled out about 8 pieces. I never get that again.
