On October 2nd, I purchased 2 mega packs of oven roasted turkey breast lunch meat. I put them in the refrigerator as soon as they were delivered by the St. Marys, PA, Wal-Mart. In three days, both unopened packages, in each pack, had expanded and blew the tops off of the packs. I threw both packages in the trash to be on the safe side. Both had an expiration date of 11-18-2023. I hesitated to make a complaint as i normally would not do so, but at the cost of the $9.47 each, this is disheartening. I buy 2 packs every 2 weeks and have never had this happen before. While this does not affect my ability to feed my family (I sent my husband to get 2 more packages of a different brand), this cost, in these times, could very well mean some families may not be able to have lunches for their children. I wish I would have at least kept the labeling to attach to this complaint, but at the time, I had no intentions of writing to you until my husband encouraged me to do so. After contacting the store, I was not happy with their response and decided to contact you
Sincerely, Michele Smith
