Similar problems faced by me also.
Yesterday I had a gas leakage with my new cylinder, try to reach the customer care. They had given one more no. but she told me it is not possible to comedown today, that is around 09:00PM. If they are so reckless towards the customers how we can sort out our problem. I went to my gas agency in the morning today and given the complaint. They came to my home in 1hr time and checked the cylinder and replaced with a new washer.
This a serious concern about the Customer care. If there is any problem with related to leakage of Gas, they need to resolve the same at the earliest.

I am, residing in the Anushakti Nagar area and our HP Gas agency is Anmol Enterprises. For the last one month they are not supplying gas cylinders in the door delivery of the consumers making them plenty of difficulties. On inquiry we came to know that the delivery boys are on strike. The agency is not making any effort to call off the strike. The agency's behavior is too harsh to customers. They are putting off the telephone lines. You are well aware that the Anushakti area is consisting of BARC and Naval establishments and this kind of arrogant behavior of the agency is putting immense difficulties to the consumers.
I will be greatly obliged if you can take urgent steps to give justice to the consumers.

Somebody is mixing carosin oil in Diesel,from last few days, because i am a regular costumer of this station, but from last 08 days i have some problem in my commercial vehicle, my one vehicle is standing at telco work shop, the engineer says due to some mixing of carosin oil vehicle is missing. And may be possible some problem in Engine.
I do agree with the above complaints... the phone booking system is disgusting... lines are always busy:(
I put 8 liters of petrol from the Hindustan Petroleum company-owned-company-operated outlet at Auto Care Centre, Plot No. 21, 53 & 54, Survey No. 73, East Marredpally, Secunderabad-500026, Andhra Pradesh. they delayed very much in giving me the bill i requested for, making me run around from one attendant to another. They gave the bill after jeering at me for having run around from one person to another. I complained to the manager, but he did not reprimand the staff. O tried to complain on their website only to find that it doesn't open.

I thought I was the only one facing these issues. I completely agree with the poor customer service provided by HP. There is always shortage of gay cylinders. In Gurgaon, for last 10 months the DBC (Double Bottle Connection) in not being provided. On top of it one has to wait for a week for delivery post booking.

After that so many times I had contact service center, the service executive every time promise me that it is process & we had already sent to you residence, delivery man is in your area only, find out the delivery man, we had already informed to delivery man he will coming in the afternoon and if I had again contact than they will said that will send we in the evening.
Finally when I had contact on Saturday 29th September 2007 in the morning your executive promised me that he will send in the afternoon, but when the delivery boy has not come in the after again I had contact to the service centre, again your executive promise me that he will sending in the evening & card already handover to delivery boy. Keep some good customer service executive, which can satisfy the customers query.
So I want to inform you before taking action, I will give this article in all leading newspapers and I am forwarding this case to consumer court, be ready for that, otherwise it will spoil your company’s name and fame.

I am a consumer from Gurgaon, I have been trying to book for a gas cylinder from last Saturday that is 14 of October. The dealer MANJIT GAS has not responded all these days. They never seem to pick up their phone for the telephone booking facility. Please help asap.
I am also facing same problem. The gas supply is more then worst in condition. Already 10 days completed of booking and still the person is saying that it will take 10 more days to deliver the cylinder. VERY VERY WORST Condition HP Gas. Totally failure in customer satisfaction.
Booking system at Mira Road HP Outlet near Snehanjali is so worst and badly handled. The line is busy always and we can't book a gas for 2 days till we get the line. And after you book, the delivery will take at least 15-20 days.

I live in Coimbatore. The service is even worse. First of all the booking is accepted only after 30 full days from the date of delivery of last cylinder. Then delivery is done as per the whims and fancies of the agency, i.e. anything between 12 to 15 days. So, in toto one gets a cylinder only after 45 days. This is ridiculous isn't it? What solution do HP authorities have for this kind of problem?

The distributor is not supplying the cylinder in time. I have booked for refill on 14-10-2007. Till date [protected]) I have not received the cylinder. The distributor is harassing the customers.

I strongly agree with above comments. I am trying phone number of Manjit Gas, gurgaon for the last 5 days but they are not picking up the phone at all. Even worst, I am asking for an additional cylinder from the last 5 months and every time they are asking me to contact next month. Is this the future of HP Gas?
Even after my last complaints (REF# [protected])in early August, I have been still having a sever problems for not having the refill cylinder in time. I dont understand why this shortage is being with HP only. Nowhere else it is being experienced by other consumers. Moreover, it is so strictly spoken that a consumer will get one cylinder / month irrespective of have a single / double cylinder facility. Providing services for such an essential commodities should be much more pragmatic towards the need of the customer rather excusing the supply. I would request again to put attention in the regard and resolve the problem as soon as possible. It going ridiculous.

I m a customer of hpcl. I m live in Etah (UP). My disturber’s name is sardar gas service.
I and many other customer are also facing delivery problem in my city because the owner of agency does not live and not come at the agency .so The gas supply is more then worst in condition. Already 18 days completed of booking and person still the is saying that it will take 10 more days to deliver the cylinder. The agency man blacked 2/3part of gas which reaches in city and get 50to150 rupees every cylinder .customers have already complained two times in DM and HPCL. Then some days everything right but now again same problem. The behavior of agency is very rude and Totally failure in customer satisfaction.
The quality of Petrol provide by the Kapileswar Filling Station, AT/PO-Duburi, Dist.-Jajpur, Orissa, is very very poor so that it shows 40 Kmpl where as at other Petrol Pumps it shows 70 Kmpl.
The Petrol smells like kerosine. Request for surprise visit and necessary action at your end. Thanking you.
As H.P is a government company their attitude is like that only. When I given a complaint in their web site. They never understand the customer's point of view. One day will come like the telephone era where the private companies strongly come to the market. That time they will wake up.

We would like to bring to your kind information that the public is inconvenienced by the following acts of aforesaid gas agencies for proper action.
1. Grave Irregularities in supplying refilled cylinders booking numbers are not being issued immediately and are being issued after two days of booking.
2. There are consumers who have not received the refilled cylinders even after two months of booking.
3. The consumer gets the reply from the owner of the agency that there are more than 10000 connections and they are being supplied with only 5500 cylinders.
4. Booking numbers does not tally with the delivery of cylinders. Cylinders are being first supplied to the consumers who have money power and muscle power with voice power.
5. The rate per domestic cylinder is being collected from rupees 310 to 350 rupees for the regular supply even if the rate fixed by the government is rupees 303.75.
6. In order to keep secret irregularities in delivery, bills are not being issued to some of the customers at the time of delivery.
7. There is difference in the weight of gas cylinders mentioned in the cylinder, no scale is being installed on the delivery van for verification. When enquire they are giving arrogant reply, that if u want you bye.
8. The telephone of the agencies is always seen engaged during the booking hours. And getting rash reply from them if the lift the receiver.
9. On enquiry of any information the consumer will get the reply from the agent that we are here for business and not for the prosperity of the customers.
10. No additional cylinders are being issued even after two years of receiving gas connections. The customer has to some how manage with the single cylinder.
11. Customers are forced to buy the stove by the dealer while availing new connection.
12. if anyone asks for details is being threatened of dire consequences

And again they will say book the gas on another number or will say this not the number for booking. After you book, the delivery will take at least 3-4 days. I have not been able to book gas for 10 days as no one is ready to book a refill. I have 2 cylinders and both are empt. This service providers are a big failure. Even when contacted the employer he also passed on numbers of those who have not booked the gas.
I am a senior citizen and a widow living with my daughter and it is so difficult to go personally make humble requests for a service which should be rightfully given to us
Similar problem faced by me also, here at NOIDA, by M/s Narendra Gas Agency, it is dealer`s DADAGIRI, they are telling " go and complain to HP, Nothisg will happen"
Is it really ? In fact it seems that no one in HP looks after the customer grievance, there is no meticulas proccess to handle the complain, that`s why the dealers are comfortable, with their DADAGIRI and shor supply and black marketting, they are taking out the gas and sell outside with a premium price. What HP management is doing? R they sleeping?

It's truly a very disgusting system of Gas booking. And most surprisingly HP Gas dealers are also not very dependable. They always have an attitude to cheat customers at first chance.

There is gas agency related to HP gas in KAKWAN road.Every time tere is problem when i wnat to take a new cylinder the owner every times tells us that cylinder is not available and He/She is shelling cyinder in black and charges more and more.
A normal person is not able to retrive the cylinder in nominal rate.and some times Lathi chare is performed by them on the Public.

Kindly do something about the way in which you disburse the cylinders. Earlier on booking the standard answer was ' should arrive within 2-3 days' now its usually ' 8-9 days'. At times 14 days pass and they need to be remindede again.Those of us who have two cylinders alone are facing an acute problem.for approximately the last one year. This is absolutely ridiculous. In particular the Walkeshwar Gas servive, based in the Laxmivihar building is really lax in their service. When at all they answer the phone it's as though they are doing us a great favour. Instead of expecting us to patiently wait for the situation to improve mobilise yourselves and do something concrete to iimprove the situation!

The booking system is so worst and badly handled by them. The telephone line is busy always and i can't book the gas. After some how booking when I manage to call for delivery these stupid people dont listen any thing & only they say every time that they will deliver it very soon but fact is that their very soon never comes & we really get unnecessary mental torcher. They also dare to say that you go wherever you want & complaint, we are not bothered about your complaint.
I have booked the gas on 01-02-08 after your 21 days of rule & today we are on 17-03-08 still after 44 days the agency is not in a position to give me gas or any proper answer. I know how the govt agency function & how they are least bothered about their customer but still we are trying to weak-up them , leaving all our office work. Some one should be responsible to check/audit their agency records , their work then you can find how much they are doing work as per HP norms.

Its goin to be 11 days i have booked for gas but no response. When called the phone rings rings and rings for ever, no one is there to respond to the customer call.

Be cause of the HP Gas also supplied to the Terrorist, Naxalites, and Anti sosials, criminals, Hotels, Welding work shops, Indrustrial sectors from the Home users supply they are unable to provide the Gas to the domestic consumers in time. I think All the Dealers, HP Gas Authority, Supervising Officers, Local Authority like Police, Vigilance Department, District Sivil Supply Authority, Brokers and Dalals are geting their sare ( Monthly Collection ) ( Hapta Basuli ) from this business, they are closing their eyes. It is require to form a Gas users Associassion and fight against this activities. Or a special Case should be filed at S.Court of India to regularaise this matter or to remove the responsible authoriries from their post and convict them under essential commodities act if any or H.P. should cancel the dealership of the concerned dealer.
I also agree that the services of HP Agencies "Ganga Gas Enterprises Ltd.", Naveen Shahdara is very poor. I am trying to book my gas since last 2 days but the numbers provided by the agencies ([protected], [protected], [protected]) is alwasy found busy or not in working conditions. Can HPs senior people look after this and resolve the problem. I never faced a problem from any customer care in my life like facing from Ganga Gas agenceis. This type of people may be rejected by the HP people who are trying to exploid the reputation of the HP.
