HMSHost ham & swiss sandwich

Last week traveling out of state I purchased this ham & Swiss sandwich.
I did not like the sandwich, it was dreadfull.
I bought the sandwich at the Vermilion valley travel plaza, and got the sandwich "to go". By the time I started to eat the sandwich I was already driving down the road, so returning to the Starbucks for a refund was not possible.
My two primary complaints with the sandwich are that 1) the bread was stiff and course, and 2) the ground mustard was slathered on so thick on both pieces of bread it was horrible.
The details of my purchase was StoreID 40HSTA06, date 7/18/19 6:51 pm, CHK 236, 384792 Karly, To Go, $7.55.
I would like a refund of my money as the sandwich was not suitable to eat. A gift certificate to that location would not be useful as that was the first time I had ever been to that travel plaza, and do not anticipate being on that freeway, to be at that location, anytime in the future.

HMSHost key stone bbq

I stopped while traveling on PA Turnpike.waited good 5 min at counter to finally get waited on. Then another twenty minutes for my food! While waiting on my food six other people came to counter nobody waited on them so they went to burger king next door. People on PA Turnpike are traveling and anxious to get back on road. Why stop at booth where you might or might not get waited on. This fellow Austin was in and out of back over to A plus anything but working. This poor girl was trying to prepare food and wait on customers, who in turn would get tired waiting and go to Burger King. I will not stop there again! But Austin should get Employee of the month from burger king! He sends A lot of business there way. Store ID 4PAKBQ24

HMSHost customer service

I am 58 years old and I've been visiting Dunkin Donuts for as long as I can remember. The service is usually "ok to good" with the occasional exceptionally good. On July 19, 2019 I experienced the opposite - exceptionally BAD. I walked into the Garden State Parkway Rest Stop around exit 160 in northern NJ. There were two customers in front of me. The first customer was tended to for more than 5 minutes. I could not hear what she had ordered but assumed it must have been a large order based on the long time it took. I did see that her total came to $18 which told me there was probably no legitimate reason for this. It took the woman in front of me a few more minutes to place her order because she couldn't catch anyone's attention to place it. I finally got to the counter and my order was simple. One medium iced caramel latte. I paid and the young lady turned around to talk to another employee at the same time she attempted to hand me my change. She couldn't find my hand since she was too busy being turned around and ignoring the customer she was helping - me. Not once did she acknowledge the completion of my transaction. No "Thank You". No "Have a Nice Day". Nothing. I proceeded to the order pick up area and began my next wait. I watched people order and leave behind me. Approximately 10 more minutes went by when I loudly said, "CAN I PLEASE HAVE MY ICED CARAMEL LATTE?" Every employee stopped what they were doing and looked at me with vacant expressions on their faces. I had to remind the young lady who took my order and show my receipt at which time a gentleman behind the counter stopped what he was doing to make my drink. An older gentelman standing nearby when I loudly requested my drink began to apologize repeatedly. I told him that this was the slowest, most disorganized Dunkin Donuts that I have ever visited. Do you know what he said? You guessed it. "I'm sorry."
I've conservatively visited several hundred Dunkin Donut restaurants in my life. I travel extensively. This is by far, my worst experience.
A suggestion - Walk into this rest stop and simply observe from a distance. See if there's credence to my complaint.
I think you'll be quite disappointed in what you see.

Cashier named Melissa (Caucasian female) was great.

The young petite (Asian or Latina) woman who made my frappacino was mouthing off to a customer who did not receive his lemon pastry, throwing food, and gave me attitude.

She kept calling out a mocha frappe that a previous customer had abandoned. Then she asked me what I was waiting on. I said, "Chai Cream Frappucino." To which she replied, "Been here forever." Although I had been waiting patiently for her to call out either the drink or my name.

When she was told to calm down she said, "You know I can't control when I cry."

HMSHost helpful hand

I was driving the new York thruway west to Pittsburgh to attend a funeral for my uncle. I stopped at the utica Plaza.went to Starbucks for the usual black blueberry ice tea that I normally get at your Ludlow Eastbound plaza shop..i travel between, buffalo and Boston frequently..ifd have to say both stops are very good, although the wait at Ludlow is quite long. Please fix the walk up service at Ludlow..the service at utica was very good!

HMSHost the time it took to get out the orders after taking them.

I stoppped at this rest stop, then went to the Burger King and ordered two sandwichs. It was 11:12pm when I finnally got up to the register to order, which was about twenty minutes and then It took them another forty five minutes to get my order out to me after I ordered it, which was 11:57pm. They were so unorganized and no one knew what they were doing. They where totally messing everyones orders up and they were not even going in sequence. No one was bumping the items off the board as they gave out the orders, so they had no idea where they where with the orders. People had food missing or the wrong food when they got their orders, and some even cancelled their orders and got their money back becasue it was so bad and it took forever to get their food they ordered.

HMSHost service

Hello,

We dined at Publican at ORD on 7/15/19. We love Publican in Chicago, but at ORD, we were seriously disappointed. The service was terrible. The hostess was rude and appeared to be wearing pajamas. Our server, Vito, was rude, inhospitable and did not live up to the typical service we receive at Publican. He repeatedly, rudely turned customers away and told them he wouldn't help them for at least thirty minutes. After waiting for our food for a long time, the food was not hot and didn't seem freshly made. I wanted more syrup for my waffle, but the server never came back to check on us or ask if we needed more coffee. It was a pricy, disappointing, and frustrating meal overall. HMSHost manager - gerardo

As an employee that gave a 2 weeks Resignation.
I was asked to come back to finish out my 2 weeks (starting the 2 weeks completely over) by Robert (another manager). When I came in I was asked by Gerardo about my 2 weeks notice. After explaining what had happened Gerardo stated "We don't need you, we have people to work over night."
When explained to the over night shift manager, she explained that they in fact do need me or they aren't able to perform their full every night duties (hence the bathroom complaints).
While working I had zero write ups and zero coachings. I was listed as a rehire upon leaving due to this second incident of Gerardo's unprofessional behavior.

HMSHost lbe bsnd be goud (gouda sandwich)

The item in the display case was marked $4.49. When the cashier rang up the item, it registered $4.99. I made the clerk aware of the difference and all she could say was that is the amount it rang up. Conversation continued back and forth and her comment was that what the item was marked in the showcase did not matter, what did matter is the amount that the register calculated. Is this called false advertising?

I had order a strawberry shake, not a chocolate/strawberry shake. I ask the cashier if this was chocolate, she said strawberry. It taste like chocolate and spoiled strawberries. I asked for my money back. The cashier asked if I want another shake I said no. I want my money back, she kept arguing with me, that it was strawberry. I told her I've been to other chick-Fil-A and gotten strawberry shakes. they look pink, not chocolate. She called the manager, she asked the same thing can I make you another one. I said no. I want my money. They did refund me the full amount. I was very disappointed with the food. The chicken and fries were not fresh at all.

HMSHost service

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. I was not greeted when I walked up to the register, and the lady bagging the food had an attitude. I felt as if I was a bother to her. I will not be returning back to this location. Coming from someone who works in the food business, a smile and hello can go a long ways. This employee may need to be put through a hospitality training class. All it takes is one employee to turn customers away.

HMSHost hr management/manager

At Calgary Airport Rahul work as a Manager at Burger King and his Management do favouritism to him, he don't know how to talk to his worker and he called himself manager. He always rude to his employees and he use his position to discriminate his employees. He got free food by HMS Host but he's taking advantage of it he always buy free food his wife and ask his store supervisors that his wife is coming for work at airport give her food. His wife is not working with HMS Host.He is violating the policies of HMS Host. Rahul's behaviour was brought up to Management no action was taken and when Rahul came to know that his behaviour was mentioned to Management he start threatening his employee and he was rude and he will remain rude do what ever you can do.

Poor HMS Host management at Calgary Airport, they just think about how to make money and they don’t care about their employees. By doing favouritism to Manager “Rahul” HMS Host Management approved that they are one of the worst management in Canada.

If employee is not feeling well and employee came home early by the approval of Manager and on second day employee called in sick. Burger King manager Rahul and his favouritism Management decide to terminate the employee by saying to employee that you are not fit to work. Poor management, HMS Host management decisions are made by store managers not by HMS Management or HR Manager, Management don’t ever investigate the situation they just follow their managers. HMS Host Management at Calgary Airport is so unprofessional. HMS Host management at Calgary Airport know how to backup/save their managers .

This guy Rahul always rude to his workers even in front of Customers. He’s not afraid of management because management do favouritism to him. Even after complaining to Management, Management took no action that’s why he always threat his workers.

HMSHost lack of service training at chick fill a, location edison travel plaza.

Making a rest stop and to refresh and have a meal. July 05, CHK4503

Entered the Chick Fill A cue, actually served promptly and that is where the good service came to an end. Person 409860 Tierra. Very polite indeed.
1. Made a breakfast order for three adults. Assistant Tierra 409860 explains I can not sell a coffee because there are no lids available. Ok we understood safety, but I needed that coffee! For the sake of speed I ordered a soda. we needed to get back in travel ASAP.
1b. Paid cash for the breakfast by 409860 Tierra. Very polite, "sorry about the coffee"!
2. Then we were called back by her more senior server, saying the breakfast has closed. Cannot serve you breakfast.
We have to refund your breakfast purchase.. Wait three minutes for the new lunch menu to be displayed, no apology from the senior server.
3. Tierra takes our lunch menu meal order of $30.47c
Tierra also asks for our name 'simpson'. May have had a problem reading the order number? I guess?
4. Fifteen minutes has passed. I inquired twice what was the hold up with completing our meal. To be told in their words "we are waiting on something ".
5. Thirty two minutes later for the first call we hear the dispatch assistant say order 4513 is ready called twice. Many in line hearing the call.
I inquired again, and say, "look what has happen to our order 4503" and finally they check, the 4513 order and two assistants say they have been calling us and everyone in the waiting line says you called calling 4513 not 4503 then your staff replied to us and other customers we were calling 4503 you were hearing wrong !
At all time I spoke clearly and in a calm voice for I had been in business many years and I am a very good listener!
6. So we take the Chick Fill A bag away and sit down to note that one waffle fries was missing and the bbq sauce missing.
My ordered GRL SND M $10.29 had been replaced with a CHX DLX SP at $8.15.
7.We just gave up. Shared the 2 fries. Put up with the wrong burger sandwich and the missing bbq sauce for the nuggets.
Very poor service! Not only that out of pocket. This mishap is due to poor training and care following up by the manager or by your supervising trainer. We all try to be professional in business. You are large franchise do not let your standards slip as in this case.

HMSHost starbucks coffee san jose international airport. southwest terminal. store id sjcsta07

Had a very bad experience at this Starbuck and employee Justine 363405.
Stood in line for 25 minutes to get morning coffee. When I got to the front of the line and asked for coffee
Justine informed me they didn't have coffee ! "Only expressos and mixed drinks." I saw coffee beans, a machine and obviously water but "no coffee". Thought they must be making fresh coffee.
My husband went back about 20 minutes later, stood in line and was told, again, with no explanation "no coffee". ITS A COFFEE STORE! It was 9am, we all needed coffee, and we had all stood in line for a very long time.
At the very least they should told customers in line they weren't serving coffee; I was not the only person upset! And No explanation, no apology, no good morning, no nothing!
I will also reach out to STARBUCK customer service and tell them how this store is ruining their brand.

HMSHost employee's poor behavior at the register

Name on my check is 40155 Dara, but the clerk was a young man.
As I waited in line I noticed he was continually arguing with another young man behind the counter, and clearly not paying attention to his work.
An elderly man in front of me bought a bottle of Sprite, I heard the clerk say the total was $2.25. The saw man give the clerk $5.25, the clerk put the money in the register and closed it; he didn't think the customer was owed $3.00 change. I know the man gave the clerk $5.25. The clerk finally realized he owed the change, all the while arguing with the other employee.
Now it was time for my order, the arguing continued between the 2 employees. I ordered a Whopper with cheese, and a large drink. I asked for lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard & ketchup. However, before I could tell the boy what I wanted on my Whopper he asked about the drink. I knew he wasn't paying attention, so I repeated what I wanted on my sandwich and watched him push buttons on the register. He gave me my cup, and I paid for my order. Just as I suspected it would be, my sandwich was made wrong. I got pickles that I didn't want, and I didn't get the mustard or ketchup that I did want. I saw this coming.
The young clerk was too busy arguing with his coworker about something that someone had said instead of paying attention to his job.
I would have been willing to think that the kitchen made the mistake on my sandwich, except it was clear that the argument was more important to the clerk than listening to a customer.
This was less than professional behavior.
If I hadn't witnessed that the elderly man gave the clerk the $5.25 I fear the man wouldn't have gotten his proper change.
And it's sad that from the beginning I had the feeling my sandwich wasn't going to be made right.
I don't expect anything for my incorrect sandwich. I just wish the guy would have paid attention and not been distracted.

HMSHost food

Date of purchase: June 26, 2019.

I paid $6.53 for the worst hamburger I have ever had in an airport. Not only was there only a sliver of meat (advertised as a steakburger) but the bread was stale and the sandwich was cold so the fake cheese did not melt one iota.

The customer service was fine but the product was awful.

HMSHost new jersey turnpike molly pitcher rest stop

Cashier Maria ripped me off. I handed her a $20 bill for a $7 tuna wrap. She gave me change for a $10. I said, no I clearly gave you a $20. She said no, you didn't...look at the receipt. The receipt had no entry printed on "cash tendered"...an empty line. There were a large number of people behind me. The other cashier was busy addressing another customer, perhaps buying lotteries. Maria argued at me and told me to step aside. I had few options.

So I've called Host 3x on their customer service line. No response to the first two calls. Today I've made the 3rd. If no response next step is to contact an official on the
N J Turnpike. The employee at Host is either a fraudster or imcompetent. In any case
it' the principle of the thing...I'm out $10 bucks. Wonder how often their employees rip someone off. Those $10 bucks can add up.

Yes, their clerks work hard and don't get paid much. Sorry, but I don't like being treated as a liar at the cash register and told to go away.

HMSHost poor customer service

The person taking our order did not verify the order. The person giving us our order gave us only a portion of our order. She also did not verify our order. She would not have given us our drink cups if we had not asked for them. The person who pointed out where we were to get the chocolate milk did so with an attitude like we were dumb for not knowing. When we left the building assuming we had all our food and were driving away we realized we had not been given an entire sandwich from our order. We verified it was on the receipt. 1 Sand Grl Chix 5.69 I realize it was a bigger order (for 6 people) but I consider this inept customer service. With the prices you charge I would expect much, much better customer service with competent people who have been well trained.

(Manisha) team member like her need a training regarding customer service. I purchase slushy (2blueRasp) and 2 cherry w/cream she informed me with eyes sharp staring at me and rushing us on our order. I said 20 timbits but she punched 10 instead and I said 20 but she said you just said it 10 how come you
told
me 20? she is not accomodating, I know its normal to be tired working but please dont let the customer feel that. I can understand if she is tired but she still nice but she is rude and her sharp eyes staring at me and how she get my order is like she is mad with the timbits.

HMSHost service received

Today June 19 2019, had a layover at Chicago Airport. We stop at Tortas Frontera to pick up breakfast before our connecting flight.
Paid $38.63 at 7:41 am for one cazuela, a torta and a toast and 2 coffees. Our plane was scheduled to take off at 8:30. We waited for our order till 8:15 and d to leave for boarding without our breakfast, when we asked how much longer they said they had to take care of 9 tickets before us.
We asume the food is good it look appetizing, but if they don't hurry up serving the orders they shouldn't be in an airport. We were not the only ones upset there this morning. Our ticket # is 5749.
