Pretty much what everyone else has said. Horrible customer service and billing of CC without permission for a deceased pet. Have been trying to contact them for weeks with no positive outcome to cancel their service. It appears to be intentional at this point. Avoid this company like the plague. You've been warned. Hopefully it is not too late for you or your pet. Stay away from Home Again. It appears they are just a front for a financial scam. Maybe it isn't, but it certainly appears as if it is a scam.
HomeAgain: A Disappointing and Frustrating Experience for Pet Owners
This company, HomeAgain, is not worth your time or money. I have been trying to register my pet's tracking chip with them for the past three days, but their website has been down and no one answers the phone. It's frustrating to see that they don't care about providing any kind of service to their customers. I have read other reviews and now understand why I can't get through to them.
I have spent countless hours trying to get in touch with an actual person, but their phone tree menu just keeps me on hold and never connects me to anyone. I even tried the "report a lost or found pet" option, but no one answered. I was on hold for two hours just to see if anyone would pick up. It's ridiculous that they can't even provide basic customer service.
I have decided to look for an alternative chipping option through my vet because I refuse to give this company any of my financial information. I will also be complaining to the local humane society that uses their chips. It's important to support companies that actually care about their customers and provide quality service. Don't waste your time with HomeAgain.
HomeAgain Review: Auto-charged without permission, expired status, poor customer service, and bad reviews
So, I had a bit of a problem with HomeAgain. They charged me automatically even though I didn't want them to, and now my pet's status is still expired. I tried calling their customer service, but I was on hold for a really long time and then I got a recording asking me to leave a message. I also tried emailing them, but they didn't answer. I even tried contacting their parent company, Merck, but their email address is no longer valid. It's really frustrating because I can't cancel my account on their website or find my credit card info to delete it.
I had to contact my bank to dispute the last auto-charge they made, and my bank asked me to document all communication by emailing HomeAgain to cancel my account and to keep that email. I'm worried that they'll charge me again next month without my permission when my other pet's renewal comes up. I hope my bank will work with me to block all future charges from HomeAgain.
I did some research and found out that HomeAgain has a lot of bad reviews and stories. Some people say that they don't even monitor your pet's chip, and if your pet goes missing, they won't help them "Home Again"! I have an appointment with my vet next week, and I'm curious to hear what they have to say about it.
Overall, I'm not very happy with HomeAgain. They took my money but didn't deliver their service, and their customer service is really hard to reach. I hope they can improve their service in the future.
HomeAgain Charged Me Despite Requesting to Withhold Membership Renewal Due to Financial Difficulties
So, I got in touch with HomeAgain on August 17, 2021 to request that they withhold my membership renewal due to financial difficulties. I hadn't turned on auto-renewal, but was informed by their customer service representatives that the pending charges would drop off. In addition, they said that I would receive an email and phone call regarding the matter.
Today, I woke up to an email stating that my membership renewal had gone through, despite specifically telling them not to do so on August 17th. I'm furious about this situation since I had communicated my financial circumstances, and was promised that the renewal wouldn't go through. Furthermore, I explained that I planned to renew the membership in a few months when I was in a better financial position, but they were greedy and took my money anyhow.
This has left me feeling incredibly disappointed, and I hope that they refund my money as soon as possible. If they don't, I'll be left with no option but to report them to the bank for fraud. After all, I had not initiated auto-renewal in the first place.
As a long-time customer, I'm extremely disappointed by this experience, and I'd give them a zero rating if I could. They should take better care of their customers and honor their requests. It's unacceptable to charge people without their consent.
HomeAgain Microchip Renewal Hassle: An Unsatisfactory Experience
I recently received an email from HomeAgain, reminding me to renew my furry friend's microchip. Excited to get it done, I quickly clicked on the link in the email, but was met with disappointment as nothing happened. Frustrated, I visited their website which was, unfortunately, not working properly. I tried entering what I thought was my username and password, but was denied access. I then clicked on the option to retrieve my information, but all I got was a spinning circle.
Feeling annoyed and fed-up, I decided to call the 800-number provided by HomeAgain. Unfortunately, the representatives on the other end of the line hung up on me while trying to explain my situation to them. Frustration mounting, I returned to the darn email and tried again. Finally, after a long and tedious process, I was able to renew my pet's annual microchip. However, the experience left me feeling bitter about the whole situation.
To be honest, if my furry friend hadn't already come with this company's microchip, I would have never used HomeAgain again. And the worst part is, I have to go through this ordeal annually every single year! Their website is a complete mess and was clearly not designed to be user-friendly. As someone who cannot tolerate faulty websites, this has left me completely unsatisfied with HomeAgain's service.
Thanks to the frustration they have caused me, I even had to buy a new phone because I had smashed my old one while trying to contact them. They really need to fix their problems because I would strongly advise anyone with pets to stay away from HomeAgain. Their service is pathetic and they really need to step up their game if they want to attract and retain customers.
HomeAgain Microchip Review: Frustrations with Website, Emails, and Customer Service
Man, what a tough time I had with HomeAgain. I was getting all sorts of emails about someone else's furry friend, and it took me far too long to realize what was going on. When I finally got in touch with them, they tried to blame me or my vet's office! Can you believe that? Like, come on, guys, get your act together. The website was a total mess too - I couldn't even put in the right details for my pet. And don't even get me started on my password troubles. No matter what I did, the darn thing just wouldn't work, and the site wouldn't tell me what was wrong. When I reached out to their tech support, I ended up waiting days for a call back. Talk about frustrating. Honestly, at this point, I'm not sure if I regret getting my pet microchipped with HomeAgain. I mean, if they can't handle basic stuff like passwords or accurate customer info, how on earth are they going to find my cat if they ever get lost? It feels like I wasted my time and money, to be honest. Ugh.
Disappointing Customer Service: HomeAgain's Apathetic Response to a Missing Pet
My experience with HomeAgain was less than satisfactory. Recently, our beloved cat went missing because our tenant forgot to check before closing the door. Our heart was shattered as our cat held a dear place in our family. However, we found solace in knowing that he had a microchip installed by HomeAgain, the no-kill shelter he came from. But, when we contacted HomeAgain, we were met with a dispassionate, uncaring representative. It was like talking to a wall! We couldn't make them understand that our furry friend had stomach issues, and it would have been impossible for him to survive in the wilderness longer than a week.
The HomeAgain representative didn't show any concern or effort to go beyond their line of duty. It was like they were following a script, and there was no empathy. We were very disappointed with the way our query was handled. Even when we tried to explain the gravity of the situation, the response was robotic and lacked any personal touch.
Furthermore, the "two-week transfer" they mentioned was of no relevance to us, and it made us feel like they were just prolonging the process with no tangible outcome. The representative didn't bother to inquire about the situation or show any willingness to help us find our missing cat. We were left feeling helpless, and it seemed like they didn't care if we found our feline friend.
As pet owners, we expected a humane and compassionate response from HomeAgain, but the experience we had was quite the opposite. Our search for our little buddy continues, and we can only hope and pray that he is safe. The HomeAgain representative's apathetic attitude may have jeopardized our chances of finding him, and we are devastated by their lack of concern. If you ask me, I would advise pet owners to look for alternatives other than HomeAgain for microchipping and ensuring their pet's safety.
HomeAgain's Terrible Customer Service and Automatic Withdrawals
So, I had this crazy experience with HomeAgain. They did an automatic withdrawal from not just my account, but also my brother's account. Mind you, we stay in the same house, we both have dogs and neither of us remembers requesting auto-pay. They charged us for microchip renewals for both our dogs, and I was like, what's going on? I mean, like seriously, what's the meaning of this? We wanted to talk to someone, but it was impossible. No one picked up the phone, and to make matters worse, they didn't respond to any of our emails either. Last year, I even went online and asked for new ID cards, but I never received them.
Now, I'm wondering what I can do. Should I contact my credit card company and get them to sort it out? I mean, HomeAgain is charging us $22 per year for each dog, and they don't seem to do anything. Their customer service is just terrible. It seems like quite a few other people are going through the same thing, looking at the other bad reviews.
At this point, I don't even know if it's possible to get the charges removed from one of my credit cards. I never even got a confirmation email receipt, even though I've checked both my email addresses. It's just really frustrating. I mean, what's going on here? Why is it so hard to get in touch with someone?
I'm seriously considering getting removed from auto-pay with this company. It's just not worth all the headache. Honestly, if I'm paying $22 per year for each dog, I expect better customer service than what HomeAgain is currently offering.
HomeAgain Microchips: Buyer Beware! A Disappointing Experience with Greyhound Adoption League of Texas
Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. has been using HomeAgain Microchips for a whopping 15 years! But, if you are thinking of using their service, you may want to reconsider. Here's the scoop: when you send an email to Home Again, they send you an automatic message telling you to call them if you need help. Pfft! I tried to transfer some Microchips to new pet owners by sending them emails that had the contact of surrender and the new adoption contracts of the pets, but I haven't heard back. It seems like they don't care about their customers. So, when I decided to call them, I was told to explain my woes and THEN the supervisor would be added to the call. The supervisor actually seemed exasperated by my situation and couldn't help me out. When I asked if I could speak to anyone in charge, I was told nope. This leads me to believe that Home Again doesn't really care about Adoption Organizations or pet owners. What will happen if a pet goes missing and their new owner's data is not up to date? It could be disastrous!
HomeAgain Review: Terrible Customer Service and Incompetent Accounting Services - Don't Use This Company
This company really can't do anything right. Their customer service is a joke, and they can't even manage to take payments correctly. Don't even get me started on their ability to find your missing pets. It's laughable.
HomeAgain has taken my money and won't stop sending me emails telling me my pet is no longer covered. I made two payments, one for Gillis and one for Blue. I even provided proof of payment on my bank statement, and still, they can't seem to get it right. One of my payments was even applied to my deceased dog, who passed away on Easter Sunday morning. I made three phone calls to try to get them to update their records, but nothing ever changes. They even applied the payment meant for Blue to my deceased dog instead.
I am at the end of my rope with this company. They cannot seem to handle their own accounting services, so how can I trust them to find my lost pet? I would never recommend anyone to use this service.
Yesterday, someone even went into my account and applied a payment to Blue's account, but then a few hours later, I got another email saying his membership had expired. It's like they have no idea what they're doing.
I am beyond frustrated with this company. They really need to get their act together and hire some competent people. Otherwise, they'll continue to be a company full of imbeciles. Stay far, far away.
HomeAgain: A Risky Membership - A Review of Fraudulent Activity and Poor Customer Service
Back in 2018, I renewed my membership with HomeAgain, using the paper application my vet gave me. Just three days after that, I got a call from my credit card company, saying that someone was trying to purchase video games using my credit card with a Florida shipping address. I live nowhere near Florida, so they immediately picked up on the fraudulent activity.
I then found out that HomeAgain is also based in Florida. I was really taken aback by this, thinking how easy it would be for someone connected to them to get their hands on my credit card info. The credit card company quickly cancelled the transaction, but it was still a scary experience.
Then, in 2019, my credit card information was stolen again and used in three retail stores in Florida and Georgia. This time, however, my bank didn't catch the fraud until much later. It took nine months for the issue to be finally resolved. It felt like HomeAgain didn't care at all about the fraudulent activity going on in their remittance department. They simply shrugged and let me and my bank handle the situation.
The only act of customer service I got was when a supervisor asked for the last four digits of my credit card to follow up on the issue. But overall, it was a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend using a credit card or check to purchase HomeAgain membership. It's simply not worth the risk.
If you do decide to go with HomeAgain, be aware that their missing posters are useless. When my cat went missing, the poster they sent out didn't even have a photo of him on it, even though I had submitted one with my information. My cat did eventually return home, but it was a stressful experience nonetheless.
Overall, my advice would be to bring this company's poor service to your vet's attention. I don't understand how a service division of a multi-national pharmaceutical company can get away with such low-quality work and still function without trying to improve. Save yourself the trouble and look for a better alternative.
HomeAgain: A Disconnected Business Model with Unethical Practices
So, I wanted to share my experience with HomeAgain. They recently sent me an email with the subject line "We miss you, Darryl!" at first I thought, oh how sweet, a condolence note for my dear cat who passed away. Unfortunately, I was wrong. HomeAgain sent me the email because they were trying to upsell me on their subscription for $22.
I was extremely disappointed, and it caused me to research the company further. It turns out that HomeAgain has a track record of providing poor services to pet owners. Many of their customers have complained about services not materializing, such as assistance in finding lost pets. Additionally, the company has been known to charge for extra services that they do not provide.
This experience made me angry as I believe that HomeAgain is not a company that has the best interests of pet owners and their pets at heart. Their business model is disconnected and impersonal, with no understanding of the personal bond between pet owners and their beloved pets. They seem to see pets as a commodity to make money from.
I have decided that I will no longer be accepting any pets with HomeAgain chips implanted. I have notified local shelters that I have worked with in the past and requested that they do not use HomeAgain chips on any pets that come through their doors.
It is my belief that HomeAgain should be held accountable for their fraudulent practices. They should be prosecuted and shut down. As a subsidiary of Merck and a business worth billions, they have deep pockets and will likely continue to operate despite their unethical practices. All we can do is spread awareness and avoid using their services.
In conclusion, I urge other pet owners to research any company they plan on doing business with, including HomeAgain. Do not assume that just because a company is a big brand that they have your best interests in mind. Take the time to do your research and make an informed decision to protect your furry family members.
Review: HomeAgain Website for Lost Pets - Some Issues with Support and Technical Difficulties
The HomeAgain website can be a bit of a challenge when you're dealing with the stress of a lost pet. I had some difficulty editing my cat's profile and creating an alert on my phone while on the go. The first representative I spoke with wasn't very helpful and kept asking for my cat's microchip number, even though they should have been able to access that information. I was trying to manage things from a gas station parking lot and wasn't in front of my computer at home. After hanging up with that representative, I called back and was lucky to speak with someone who was on the ball.
Once I had returned home, I attempted to download the missing cat poster, but I had some trouble with technical issues. I would download a file that was empty or one that included stock images of a German Shepherd instead of my cat's poster. Even though I spoke with a representative to iron out the problem and clearly stated what I needed, the final document wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I didn't want to hassle with making further calls to perfect the poster through my online account.
I was disappointed to find that HomeAgain only sent out an alert email three times. When I later called back with an updated location for my lost cat, the representative assured me that they would send another alert. However, nothing was sent out, and I had to make yet another call to follow up on why the alert wasn't sent.
I think the quality of support service relies heavily on the representative who answers the call, and that could be a problem if they are not as helpful or empathetic as they could be. I understand that the job of a support representative is tough, but HomeAgain should be doing their best to provide the services they offer and help reunite lost pets with their owners. I'm not convinced that the pet location feature of the package is adequate, and that worries me as a pet owner with two other cats.
HomeAgain Complaints 17
No Service Provided
I have paid for my pet's microchip policy but am unable to access the information online to update my home address and personal information. The website says to reset the password because they "updated their website" but experiences "internal errors" every time you try to reset. I have called multiple times and nobody ever answers the phone. You wait on hold for 10 minutes minimum, are asked to leave a very detailed message, but never receive a call back. In my opinion, I was charged for a service that is not being provided. This company then, is a rip off and scam.
Desired outcome: I want a refund OR to be able to access my account online to update my information so my pet can be returned to the correct place if lost.
Renewal payment not credited
I paid for the microchip renewal thru my bank - a check fo $24.99 was sent and cashed on 8/20. I kept getting emails to renew and called the company 6 times. They still say they never got the check so my Bank of America sent them a copy of front and back of the cashed check. After that there was silence but the website still shows 'not renewed'!
Clearly there is fraud going on!
Desired outcome: Payment applied to account!!!
I have tried to pay two times on my dog and no credit to my account for her and no response from them by email and i have done that now two times.
HomeAgain Review: Terrible Customer Service and Unauthorized Charges
Yo, listen up, I gotta tell you about my experience with HomeAgain. So, I signed up online and gave them my card number, but then I decided to cancel. But guess what? They still charged me even though I erased all my financial info from my account. And get this, they won't let me close my account online. I gotta call them, but when I do, no one ever picks up, not even the emergency hotline for my pet! I've been trying to reach them for three whole days now, calling different services like customer service and emergency, but no one ever answers. It's like they don't even care about my pet. So, I had to call my bank to stop these people from taking my money. And I'm not done yet, I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. This kind of service is just not cool, man. They're taking advantage of our love for our pets and it's just not right. Be careful with these guys.

HomeAgain Microchip: A Disappointing Experience
So, we got our cat from a local shelter back in March and they had a HomeAgain microchip put in when they took him to the vet. They told us we could call to have ownership transferred, but boy oh boy, it's been a real hassle trying to get in touch with them. I've left three detailed phone messages over the course of several weeks, but haven't heard back from a real person yet. And let me tell you, their automated message system is not doing them any favors.
I finally decided to try emailing customer service eight days ago, and while I did receive an email response with a case number, I still haven't heard anything else from them. I even left a new email message today and got another automated response with a new case number. It's like they're not even trying to help me out here.
To make matters worse, when I tried to go through the process online and enter our cat's chip number, it said it couldn't find our pet. What kind of nonsense is that? I'm starting to think this whole HomeAgain thing is a huge rip-off.
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I thought having a microchip would give me peace of mind, but it's just been a headache. I think next time we take our cat to the vet, we'll be looking for a new chip with a far more reputable company.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with HomeAgain Pet Microchip Service
I've been a loyal customer of HomeAgain for over 9 years now, and I have to say, I'm quite disappointed with their service. Despite updating my contact information online every time there's a change, my bill still comes with incorrect information. It's frustrating because my pets mean the world to me, and I want to ensure that they can be easily identified and returned to me if they ever get lost.
I decided to give them a call this year to see what was going on and to confirm what contact information they had on file. Unfortunately, I've been on hold for what seems like an eternity, listening to Muzak for 15 minutes each time. It's not the most pleasant experience, to say the least. And when I finally get through, I'm told to leave my microchip and contact information for a callback, but I've yet to receive one.
It's a shame because I really wanted to like HomeAgain. Their website is easy to use, and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with having my pets chipped. But if their customer service is this lacking, I'm not sure I can continue to support them. I might have to start looking elsewhere for a better option.
HomeAgain Charged Me Despite Requesting to Withhold Membership Renewal Due to Financial Difficulties
So, I got in touch with HomeAgain on August 17, 2021 to request that they withhold my membership renewal due to financial difficulties. HomeAgain Microchip Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Money
I gotta say, I've been dealing with HomeAgain for a while now and it's been a real headache. I found a cat about a month ago and took it to my vet to get scanned for a microchip. Turns out, the cat was chipped with a HomeAgain chip. So, I called them up to try and get in touch with the owner. And let me tell you, it's been a real struggle.
I've called HomeAgain multiple times, along with my vet, and they just don't seem to care. They never call me back and the information they gave me on the pet was wrong the first two times I called. It wasn't until the third call that they told me they had an update to their system that may have caused the mix-up. But even then, they didn't do anything to help me out.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone chipping their animal with HomeAgain. If you do decide to chip your pet, go with a different company. And whatever you do, don't register your microchip with HomeAgain. They offer absolutely nothing when it comes to helping reunite a pet with its owner. They don't fix incorrect information caused by their system and they don't do anything if the owner doesn't respond. It's like they're completely worthless.
I'm not the only one who feels this way either. If you look at their reviews online, they're pretty terrible. So, if you're thinking about using HomeAgain, I'd think twice. There are plenty of other options out there that are much better.
HomeAgain Review: Useful Pet Recovery Service With Some Reliability and Inconsistency Issues
HomeAgain is a pet recovery service that I've been using for several years now. I always cross my fingers and hope that my pets never get lost, but in case they do, I feel confident knowing that they have HomeAgain to help bring them back home.
One thing that I've noticed is that sometimes when I make changes to my contact information, it doesn't always get updated on the website. For example, I recently moved and updated my address and phone number on the paper renewal form that I sent in by mail. However, when I logged onto the website, the changes were not reflected. The address and phone number were still listed as the old ones, and the wrong vet and contact numbers were also still there. I was disappointed to find out that the renewals for my other pets hadn't been completed either.
This kind of inconsistency is not only frustrating, but it's also unreliable. If one of my pets were to get lost, the wrong contact information could defeat the whole purpose of the HomeAgain service. It's essential that the system is reliable, and the information is accurate.
Despite this issue, I still think that HomeAgain can be useful for pet owners. They offer services like microchipping, lost pet alerts, and even travel assistance for your pets. I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing that I have an extra layer of protection in case anything happens to my furry family members.
Overall, I think that HomeAgain is a worthwhile investment for pet owners. Just make sure to double-check that your contact information is up-to-date and accurate to ensure that the service works as intended.
Beware of HomeAgain Double Billing Scam - My Experience
I’ve been using HomeAgain for about four years now, and unfortunately, I’ve been having some problems with them. They’ve been charging me twice for their services every year! I’ve tried to reach out to their customer service team four years in a row, and every time they told me they would handle it. But to my disappointment, nothing changed- I continue to get double billed. It's really ridiculous at this point!
Just today, I received yet another bill from them for next year, but I don’t think I can trust them anymore. I can't help but wonder, how many other people have experienced this same problem? I think they should be investigated to see if their business practices are up to standard. I mean, what if I had not noticed the double billing? Who knows how much money they would have scammed me out of!
All of this makes me question if my beloved pets were actually being looked after by this company or if it's just all about the money. This situation has caused me to lose trust, and I will not be renewing my subscription with them. I hope that others out there can learn from my experience!
HomeAgain Dog Tag Review: Unreliable Order Fulfillment & Poor Customer Service
So, I was looking to keep my dog safe you know since he keeps running away from time to time, and I stumbled upon this website called HomeAgain (homeagain.com). I thought you know, I'd give it a try. I placed an order for a dog tag on November 29th, 2020. They took the moolah out of my account right away but to my utter dismay, I haven't received the dog tag up until now - January 4th, 2021!
I got so miffed that I decided to call them up on December 29th, 2020, and they blabbered on and on about this and that. They told me that I would receive an email from the Service department, but I NEVER received any email. Now that was just bananas so I called them up again and this time I had to hold the line for so long. Finally, I got a hold of Don from customer service, and he told me that I would receive a refund on my credit card and get a confirmation email ina couple of days.
Let's hope they keep their words because if they don't, I am not going to just sit around twiddling my thumbs! I'll go straight to my bank and report fraudulent activity on my credit card account. I mean, that's just not right, is it?
Is HomeAgain the Right Choice for Your Pet's Microchipping?
So, this thing happened to me that just really grinded my gears. My sweet little Jenny passed away in June of 2021, and as her loving owner, I made sure her membership with HomeAgain was updated to reflect her absence. But lo and behold, come January of 2022, I get a notification that her membership had been renewed! What the heck?! I was so upset and couldn't understand how this could happen. I mean, if HomeAgain can't even keep their internal records straight, how are they going to be any help if my pet actually got lost?
Luckily, I was able to talk to a rep who apologized and confirmed that Jenny's status was indeed marked as "deceased." But still, it just left a really sour taste in my mouth. And it got me thinking about how important it is to research and choose the right company when it comes to microchipping your furry friend.
And that's when I realized that HomeAgain isn't the only option out there. There are plenty of other companies that offer pet microchipping and tracking services. But what sets HomeAgain apart is their extensive network of veterinarians and shelters that they work with. In fact, HomeAgain boasts that their chip has helped reunite over 2 million lost pets with their owners. That's a lot of happy reunions!
But at the end of the day, mistakes can happen, and it's important to be vigilant. Make sure you keep your pet's information up to date, and don't be afraid to double-check with the company to make sure everything is in order. After all, our pets are family, and we want to make sure they're always safe and protected.
Poor customer service and communication from HomeAgain
Hey guys! So, I wanted to give you all an update and my personal experience with HomeAgain. Unfortunately, my beloved dog passed away a few months ago and I was not able to use their services. However, I noticed that they had automatically renewed her annual membership fee, despite the fact that she is no longer with us. I understand that mistakes happen, so I called their customer service number to let them know what had happened and to request a refund. Unfortunately, I had to leave a message as no one answered the phone at that time, which was kind of frustrating.
Now, I know we are all busy and that things take time. I'm always willing to wait a reasonable amount of time for a response, so I waited a couple of weeks without hearing back from them. Unfortunately, I still hadn't gotten a response or even a refund. I called again and had to leave my information once more. It's like no one was there to answer the phone. Honestly, I was just getting really annoyed by this point. I didn't know whom to contact or how to fix the problem.
Finally, I decided to get fancy and left them a direct message on their Instagram account hoping to get some kind of response. Sadly, still nothing. It's been a month or so now and I've had no response or refund.
I find it quite disappointing as they have a good reputation, but the lack of customer service and communication has made me lose trust in the company completely. I mean, if they can’t even communicate well with their customers, how can I trust them to take care of my pets?
As I am not sure who to reach out to, I might just reach out to my credit card company to dispute the charge. So yeah, overall a pretty negative experience dealing with HomeAgain.
HomeAgain customer support is unreliable and frustrating - Look elsewhere for pet services
Customer support is straight-up ridiculous. I was on hold for like, half an hour before I gave up and left them a message. They promised me a callback within two days, but what do you know? Crickets. So I fired off an email to their website, but of course, it's been a week now and I still haven't heard back.
After I called them AGAIN and spent an eternity on hold, I finally talked to someone. But this [censored] spent more time trying to sell me on some new tag or whatever than she did actually helping me renew my subscription. I had to say the same thing, like, six times before she got it.
Honestly, I'm so done with this crap. I'm cancelling my auto-renewal and finding a new service, because who has time for this nonsense? If they can't even handle the easy stuff, how in the world am I supposed to trust them if my dog actually gets lost (heaven forbid)?
In conclusion, HomeAgain's got some serious issues. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you want a service that actually cares about its customers.
Unethical Auto-Renewal Policy of HomeAgain unacceptable- A Customer's Review
I just started using HomeAgain and I'm a little upset about having to sign up for auto-renewal when I pay online. I know it's a new feature this year but I don't think customers should be forced into auto-renewal. It seems like a scam to me. Plus, once you've put your payment information into the system, you can't remove it online. You have to call customer service and hope they can remove it. And if you do choose to pay by check, it takes 4-6 weeks for the payment to be processed and your account to be renewed. Ridiculous! I really hope HomeAgain changes this because it's irresponsible and unethical.
Is HOME AGAIN Worth the Price for Pet Protection?
Have you ever heard of HOME AGAIN? You might think it is a service to protect your furry friend and reunite you with your pet if they get lost or stolen. However, think twice before paying for it.
Let's start with the basics. What exactly does HOME AGAIN promise to provide? A 1-800 phone number to call if your pet is in an emergency situation, like being run over by a car, and spam coupon emails to your inbox. So, it is not exactly clear how they will help you reunite with your pet.
One of the biggest selling points of HOME AGAIN is the microchip. This tiny device contains your pet's identification information and, when scanned, should provide a way to reunite you with your furry friend. But guess what? If your pet ends up in a shelter, they will scan the microchip anyway, whether or not you are a HOME AGAIN member!
Additionally, animal shelters and human societies have their own protocols for contacting pet owners. If your pet is found, the shelter is required to scan for a microchip and check for any identification tags. They will then first attempt to contact you. If they can't reach you, then they will either hold the pet for a certain period of time to give you a chance to claim them or put them up for adoption. Whether or not you PAY for a monthly fee, the shelter will follow its own protocols and contact you or not as they see fit.
So, at the end of the day, the odds of being reunited with your pet are the same whether or not you pay for HOME AGAIN. The company advertises that paying the monthly fee is the best way to ensure your pet's safety, but the reality is that your pet's safety is already ensured by basic identification measures.
Therefore, before paying for HOME AGAIN, think twice and consider if it's the best option for you and your furry friend.
HomeAgain: Unreliable Microchipping and Recovery Services
Ever since I got involved with HomeAgain, there's been nothing but trouble. I first signed up because the shelter implanted the chip and recommended it to me. But as soon as the 3 free months were up, I contacted HomeAgain and they immediately charged me for a product that I never ordered. I had to call them to reverse the charge, and it was a whole ordeal. To make matters worse, they kept using my dog's wrong name, when I had clearly informed them of his correct name. Eventually, I decided to renew my contract with them for a year.
However, even after paying for the renewal three weeks ago, they keep sending me emails asking me to renew again. I have replied to their emails on multiple occasions and have called them several times, but they don't respond to my emails, and when I do happen to get through to their customer service, I'm left on hold for ages. Recently, when I finally spoke to someone, they sounded unprofessional and couldn't find my payment in their system. It's unnerving to think about what would happen if I needed their services and they couldn't even keep track of my payments!
Honestly, I don't think HomeAgain is a reliable company at all. Their customer service seems to be lacking, and I don't trust them with the safety and security of my beloved pet. I would advise any pet owner to look for other pet microchipping and recovery services that are more trustworthy and customer-friendly.
HomeAgain Microchipping Service Review: A Waste of Time and Money
Yo, so I adopted my dog from the shelter about a year ago, and they talked to me bout this thing called microchipping from HomeAgain to help keep my pup safe in case he ever ran off. I was like, eh, why not, can't hurt right? But now, I'm gettin' this letter in the mail, at an address I ain't even livin' at no more, sayin' they want another 22 bucks for services I never even used or knew 'bout. I was like, what in tarnation is goin' on here? I mean, don't get me wrong, it would be cool if somethin' ever did happen and he got lost or somethin', but now they expectin' me to fork over more cash for somethin' I didn't even know I had? Nah, that ain't right.
So, I decided to give 'em a call and see what was up. I mean, how hard could it be to pay a fee, right? WRONG. I'm sittin' here, at 2:30 on a Friday, tryin' to get ahold of someone for ten whole minutes and no one even picks up the dang phone! Like, seriously? Ain't nobody got time for this mess. If they can't even answer the phone, how am I supposed to trust them with my dog's safety? Plus, I can't even update his name (which I changed when I adopted him), my new address, or even make a payment. What kind of service is this?
Honestly, don't waste your time or money on HomeAgain. It's a bunch of baloney if you ask me. Just stick with old fashioned ways to keep your dog safe, like a sturdy leash or a big ol' fence. Ain't nobody got time for this mess.
About HomeAgain
One of the most important features of HomeAgain is its microchipping service. This service involves implanting a small microchip under the pet's skin, which contains a unique identification number. Veterinarians, animal shelters, and other animal care professionals can use a special scanner to read the chip and quickly access the pet's information, which includes the owner's contact information.
In addition to microchipping, HomeAgain also offers a lost pet alert system that can send out notifications to pet owners in the event that their pet goes missing. When a pet is reported lost, HomeAgain immediately sends out a lost pet alert to a network of veterinarians, animal shelters, and rescue organizations in the area where the pet was last seen.
Furthermore, HomeAgain offers a 24/7 call center that pet owners can contact in case of an emergency. The call center is staffed with trained professionals who can provide assistance with lost pet recovery, as well as emergency medical care referrals and travel assistance for pets and their owners.
Overall, HomeAgain is a comprehensive pet recovery service that offers a multitude of features and services aimed at helping pet owners ensure their pets' safety and security. By providing a unique identification number through microchipping, sending out lost pet alerts, and offering a 24/7 call center for emergency assistance, HomeAgain is a valuable resource for pet owners who want to ensure that their furry friends always have the best chances of being safely reunited with their families.
