Terrible company
You can’t even reach anyone at corporate it’s a joke of a company. If they are curious to why their sales are dropping it’s because the people working for them are complete [censored]s and they sell u expedited shipping when it’s not the case.
They told me they would cancel my order and sent me an email at 12 am stating my order would not ship until 9/16 and then when I called they said it already shipped and the guy was a real horses a$$. What a joke of a company. Whoever owns state line tack is a clown for allowing bait and switch tactics to go down.
Worst customer service and shipping ever
I placed an order on 1/7 (Sunday). They advertised 2-4 business day processing, but after 7 business days my order had not shipped. I called. They said they'd look into it and call me back but they never did. I called again on 1/17 and was again told someone would call or email me but that never happened. Then on 1/19 I received an email entitled "State Line Tack new order confirmation." They placed another order for the same item with a new estimated ship date of 1/23.
I paid for expedited shipping. I'm pretty sure at this point that's not what I got and I have no confidence they ever even did anything with my original order or that I'm going to receive anything at all.
Recommendation: Avoid this company unless you just want to give them your money for nothing

I have ordered from this company in the past and had no complaints. This time I needed horse boots in a hurry and they offered one day shipping for $51.99. I went ahead and set up the order on January 13, 2024. Complaint number 1: when I placed the order there was a $59 discount applied on an order of over $300 — great, that offset the high shipping charge EXCEPT when the order was confirmed the discount mysteriously disappeared. Complaint number 2: when my order had not even been processed by January 18, I called to see what the hold up was. I was told that it would take one to two WEEKS to process the order and then it would be shipped in one day. I cancelled the order, told the customer service gal, Rachel, I found this unacceptable and went to Amazon where I scored one of the boots used for half price. Poorest customer service and most misleading shipping information ever. This is the last time I order from them.
Recommendation: Don't order anything you need in a hurry. Be prepared to wait 2 or more weeks even if you pay for expedited shipping. Realize they will not tell you up front that many items are not immediately available.
Drop Shipper - Not a real company!
I bought a blanket from them for my mini donkey. It took almost 2 weeks before they shipped. When I finally received it, the leg straps that keep the blanket from sliding sideways, were missing. I contacted them and they replied via email, showing the persons name & "DROP SHIPPER"! So I did some digging on "State Line Tack" and it's owned by a company that creates websites. This is not a real company!
After numerous back & forth emails, I was finally told "We currently do not offer another leg strap that would work with that blanket. We did check with the manufacturer and they do not have stock on them."
I've never had a company not honor missing parts and immediately ship them out!
What really disturbs me is that I wrote a review over a week ago (on state line tack website) and it's not there. Leads me to believe they suppress a good number of negative reviews!

I ordered my mid weight horse blanket... I have received no updates in this blanket. Spent $240 hoping it would be here but at least the beginning of next week.. it doesn't ship til Nov 28 or Nov 29th..I need this blanket because I had fo throw out my horses other mid weights...now it is in the 30s at night and all I have is a sheet.. when I talked to customer service I asked about canceling my.order and that can take 1 to 3 days! I am NEVER using this company ever again!

State Line Tack (statelinetack.com) is an online retailer that specializes in equestrian supplies. While I have had a few interactions with this company, unfortunately, I have never been given cause to recommend them to others. Despite having ordered from them in the past, I have always found their prices to be lackluster at best, and the shipping times can be fairly long. However, a recent sale on their website caught my eye, and I decided to order a Tough1 waterproof turnout sheet for my miniature horse.
Upon receiving the product, I was hopeful that it would be just what my horse needed. However, after using the sheet for the first time, I was extremely disappointed to find that my horse was completely soaked underneath despite the sheet being advertised as waterproof. I placed the sheet on him before turn-out, and while he has access to a run-in throughout the day, the sheet did not keep him dry during the rain that day.
Unhappy with the purchase, I contacted Stateline Tack’s customer service regarding the issue. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with did not offer any solutions to my problem but rather suggested that I may have been at fault for not putting the sheet on correctly. I found this to be a rather disheartening response, as I was solely looking to rectify an issue with their product.
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with State Line Tack and will not be ordering from them again in the future. If anything, this experience will cause me to caution others about ordering from this company, as there are other online retailers that offer better pricing, faster shipping, and more attentive customer service.
State Line Tack's Poor Packaging and Lack of Response Disappoints: A Review
I recently had an experience with State Line Tack, and unfortunately it was less than satisfactory. I had ordered three cat scratchers from their website, and everything had been smooth sailing up until the day of delivery. It was apparent to me that someone had spilled the citronella oil on the box prior to shipping, and instead of using a new box, they tried to cover it up with a flap. I found this to be incredibly disappointing, as it showed a lack of pride and care in their work.
The oil was saturated throughout the box, instead of just being a small amount that had dried up. I immediately wrote to State Line Tack about the issue, but have yet to receive a response from them. I didn't want to return the items due to the hassle, especially in light of the current Covid 19 guidelines that require extra precautions when handling packages. Instead, I've chosen to keep the scratchers and consider this a lesson learned.
I must admit that this was only the second time in my life that I've felt compelled to write a negative review about a company. However, in this case, I felt that there was no excuse for what had happened. It was clear to me that the individual responsible for packaging the items did not take their job seriously enough. I had ordered a turnout thinking that I was getting an additional 25% off of my purchase, only to discover that the prices they were showing me already reflected that discount. When I realized that I had made a mistake and found the same turnout on Amazon, I immediately called State Line to cancel my order. Unfortunately, they close at 6 pm Eastern Time and it was already 6:15 pm in my Pacific NW location. Despite my efforts to reach out to them through various channels, I was unable to cancel the shipment.
By the time the package arrived, I had already received the turnout from Amazon. However, it turned out to be too big for my horse, so I took it to Kohl's to be sent back at no extra charge and received my refund promptly. I would not recommend purchasing from State Line Tack, especially when it comes to items like turnouts where fit is crucial and you might need to try multiple before finding the right one.
