Homestead.com Review: A Disappointing Experience with Unreliable Service
homestead.com is a real bummer. I mean, it's like they don't even care about their customers. I gave them my hard-earned cash to set up a website, and what do I get in return? A website that's down more often than it's up. It's like they're playing a game of hide and seek with my website, and I'm the one left seeking.
I mean, come on, Homestead, get your act together! I can't even access my account a day later because you're having "difficulties." What kind of difficulties? The kind where you don't know how to run a website?
I'm seriously considering asking for a refund. I mean, why should I pay for a service that doesn't even work? It's like paying for a car that doesn't run. What's the point?
Overall, I'd give homestead.com a 1 out of 10. And that's being generous. If you're thinking about using this service, I'd think again. Unless you like throwing your money away, that is.
Homestead's Deceptive Billing Practices - A Warning to All Potential Customers
I had a website with Homestead for like 7 years, man. I tried to cancel it a bunch of times, but they kept telling me it was all good and taken care of. But guess what? They kept charging my debit card like $40 a month, even though my business has been closed for 3 years now. It's like they don't even care, you know? They said they handled it and closed it, but I don't believe them. This is just straight up horrible, dude.
Unethical Billing Practices: Our Experience with Homestead Technologies Inc
So, we tried to cancel our subscription with Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com), but it was a real hassle. They kept giving us the runaround and wouldn't let us cancel. They said we had to put a stop payment through the bank, which was a real pain. And now, we just found out that they're trying to bill us again by using a different name. That's just not right. It's not just bad service, it's downright unethical. We really don't recommend using them.
Easy-to-Use and Reliable: My Experience with Homestead.com Website Builder
Homestead.com is the best website builder out there! I'm not the most tech-savvy person, but even I was able to create a website with their easy-to-use platform. It was actually pretty fun, and I found myself spending hours tinkering with my site. And if I ever did run into any issues, their tech support was always there to help me out.
Before I found Homestead, I had been burned by other website providers in the past. But with Homestead, I finally found a reliable and trustworthy option. I didn't have any experience or training, but a friend recommended Homestead to me and I decided to give it a shot. And I'm so glad I did!
Overall, I have no regrets about choosing Homestead. It's made my life so much easier and I wish everything was this simple and dependable. If you're looking for a website builder that's user-friendly and has great tech support, Homestead is the way to go!
Homestead Technologies Inc: A Disappointing Experience
Homestead Technologies Inc, also known as homestead.com, has been my go-to website builder for over a decade. I have to say, their product has served me well for many years. However, in recent times, I have noticed a significant decrease in product quality and the service rendered at Homestead. It's a shame, really.
I am also a user of WordPress.org, which I access through 1&1 for another website. As an example of the frustration I routinely experience with Homestead, it sometimes takes me up to 15 minutes to simply edit a sentence on Homestead. This is due to their poor quality of product, extremely slow speeds, and frequent disconnects. It's a real pain in the neck, let me tell you.
On the other hand, I do not experience these problems with WordPress.org through 1&1. It's a much smoother experience overall. The website I administrate on Homestead is related to football, and as soon as the football season concludes, I will be switching my Homestead account to WordPress.org through 1&1. I just can't deal with the frustration anymore.
Overall, I have to say that Homestead has really let me down in recent years. I used to be a loyal customer, but their poor quality of product and service has driven me away. It's a shame, really, because I had such high hopes for them. But alas, it's time to move on.
Disastrous Experience with Homestead's Deluxe Service: Don't Waste Your Time or Money
I been using Homesteads basic service for like 3 years now and I built my own website and they hosted it and it was like, OK, but they didn't do nothing to promote my placement. Then in January 2018, I signed up for their deluxe service to make my website mobile friendly and promote placement to the first page at a cost of $380 a month. They redesigned the whole site, which was like, cool, but then it all went downhill from there. It's now May and the site just went live and it's been a disaster from start to finish. Their web designers don't know what they're doing and they don't listen to your requests. Like, something as simple as being able to call my office by clicking on the phone number doesn't work and the link for new customer inquiries is also dead. The formatting doesn't fit on the page and they lost vital information from my original site, including my customer reviews. It's a mess, like a hot mess. I'm so ready to put in a BBB complaint to get my money back. Like, seriously, don't waste your time or money on Homesteads deluxe service.
Disappointing Customer Support: My Experience with Homestead Technologies Inc
Homestead Technologies Inc. is a company that provides website building and hosting services. I have been using their services for quite some time now, and I must say that I am not satisfied with their customer support. I have been facing an issue with my email, which has been landing in the Junk mail folder for over a month now. Despite my repeated complaints, the issue has not been resolved yet.
Initially, the support team tried to blame me and my device setup for the problem. They suggested that I delete the mailbox from all my devices, but that did not solve the problem. My emails continued to arrive in the Junk mail folder on the Homestead server. Then they asked me to delete the mailbox from all my devices AND on the Homestead (Roundcube) server. I followed their instructions, but to my dismay, I lost over six years of my email.
The incompetence of the Tech Support team is astounding. There are at least five "Help Tickets" open in the Homestead's "Advanced Team" department, and nobody seems to know what to do. I have called for help at least ten times, but nobody ever checks my account history. I always have to start from scratch, and they all script me over and over but do not solve the problem.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone looking for website building and hosting services to stay away from Homestead Technologies Inc. and opt for GoDaddy instead. Their customer support is much better, and they are more reliable.
Avoid Homestead Technologies Inc for Domain Name Reservation Services
Homestead Technologies Inc, or homestead.com, is a company that offers domain name reservation services. However, their business practices have been criticized by some customers. As a developer who wanted to move a domain name to another hosting company, I had a terrible experience with them. I strongly advise against reserving a domain name through Homestead.
The main issue I encountered was that they made it nearly impossible for me to move my domain name to another hosting company. Their compliance team refused to send any real information about the status of my request. Instead, every email from them was exactly the same... an extremely complicated and misleading explanation of their process. I sent in the information that it seemed like they were requesting, but I just got the same response back. It was frustrating and time-consuming.
When I called customer service, they were not much help either. They just regurgitated the same message and then said that they couldn't control what the compliance department does because they are a different department! I couldn't talk to anyone in the compliance department, and they would not respond to emails with actual information like, "I received your documentation... it is satisfactory... or I need this as well." It was like talking to a brick wall.
Overall, my experience with Homestead Technologies Inc was terrible. They wasted hours of my time and made it nearly impossible for me to move my domain name to another hosting company. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are scam artists who do not care about their customers.
Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com) Review: A Complete Scam!
This company, Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com), is a complete mess. I don't even know where to begin. It seems like they are a ghost zombie company and no longer in business, yet they have continued to bill me for over a year for accounts that I closed. The website showed all of my accounts were closed, but there was an intentional glitch to prevent the last account from getting deleted, thus keeping your account open so they can keep billing you. It's a complete scam!
Normally, you could just contact customer service, but it is darn near impossible to find a "contact us" that doesn't route you to a forum to ask other customers for help. And then, when you finally find the contact form to enter a complaint, THAT GLITCHES TOO! It's like they don't want to hear from their customers. And no one answers the phone when you call. It's like they don't exist.
I finally had to contact my bank, but they could only get me back 3 months of the charges. They owe me over 15 months!@ about $34 a month. It's a complete rip-off! This review is mostly in case there is ever a class-action lawsuit against them to show that there is a history of this practice with them. I have read that Intuit companies have used these accidental glitches (*intentional) in some of their other products. It's a shady business practice.
This web builder product is TERRIBLE. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. I am pretty sure it's all on purpose. They intentionally make it difficult to cancel your account and then continue to bill you for months after you have closed it. It's a complete scam! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Stay away from Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com) at all costs!
Homestead Technologies Inc: A Ripoff Scam with Terrible Customer Service and False Promises
I read the other reviews and I gotta say, I really don't like this company. Homestead Technologies Inc, a division of Intuit, makes you pay the whole fee upfront, which is almost $1200. And get this, they start the countdown of your year of hosting the day you sign up, not the day you actually start using their services. What kind of nonsense is that? And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's practically non-existent. They take forever to get back to you, and when they finally do, they sometimes don't even answer your questions. For the amount of money they charge, you'd expect better service.
And let's talk about their store front setup. They do it the way they want it, even if you've provided them with three different setups and told them what you want it to look like. And if you want more services, they charge you extra. What a ripoff! And even after you've paid in full, they won't destroy your credit card information. They want to hold onto it so they can bill you when it's time for renewal, without even asking if you want to continue using their services. That's just plain wrong. It's like they're trying to scam you or something.
I was trying to get my site up and running, and the guy I spoke with told me it would be up by Christmas if I signed up right then. That was back in October, and it's now February and my site still isn't up. I thought I was saving money by going with Homestead, but now it's going to cost me even more to go to a real website creator. I feel like they prey on people who don't know any better, with promises that they can't keep.
I hear their ads on the radio and it makes me cringe. I just don't understand how anyone could love this company. If you've had a good experience with them, you must be an exception, or a family member, friend of an employee, or someone who paid extra for better service. I'm with the reviewer who gave them the lowest possible ranking. Actually, I rank them even lower than that. They don't even deserve to be on the scale.

Account error
On 24th January Homestead charged my card twice for the usual monthly fee. Then they refused to acknowledge that they had made an error. I have written to Homestead (who provide web hosting and do-it-yourself website design services) several times. I obtained a charge-back for the second (incorrect) charge. But then they blocked my account and hence my...
Read full review of Homestead TechnologiesHomestead Technologies Inc's Limited Language Options and Discrimination Towards Hispanic Customers
I recently tried using Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com) for my website needs, but I was disappointed with their customer service. I was hoping to receive assistance in Spanish, but unfortunately, they did not offer that option. This made me feel discriminated against as a Hispanic person.
I believe that it is important for companies to provide equal services to all customers, regardless of their ethnicity or language preference. It is not fair to exclude certain groups of people from receiving the same level of support as others.
Despite this issue, I did find that Homestead Technologies Inc had some useful features for building a website. However, I would caution other potential customers to be aware of their limited language options and potential discrimination towards Hispanic individuals.
Overall, I hope that Homestead Technologies Inc will take steps to improve their customer service and make it more inclusive for all customers. Discrimination should not be tolerated in any form, and it is important for companies to prioritize diversity and inclusion in their business practices.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Homestead.com
homestead.com is a website that I tried to use, but I had a really bad experience with their customer service. It was so bad that I had to write a review about it. The customer service is outsourced, which is not good. When I talked to the agent, I had to explain the product to them so they could understand my question. It was really frustrating. I don't think I'll be using homestead.com again.

Disappointing Experience with Homestead Technologies Inc: Frustration and Stress with Website Building
So, I've been trying to get my website up and running for a while now, but it's been a real struggle. I keep running into errors and it seems like every time I try to get in touch with someone at Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com), they're always in meetings or something. It's been really frustrating trying to make edits to my site and I'm just not happy with what they promised me. I'm feeling really stressed out about the whole thing.
Homestead Technologies Inc charged me for a canceled account - possible scam?
So, I had an account with Homestead Technologies Inc (homestead.com) about 3 years ago. I decided to cancel it because I wasn't using it anymore. However, recently I noticed that they charged my account in 2023. I was really confused because I thought I had canceled it. I disputed the amount with my credit card company and they asked Homestead to explain the charge.
But guess what? Homestead said that I don't have an account with them anymore and they didn't charge me anything. What?! Then how do you explain the $247.40 charged to my credit card? It doesn't make any sense. I feel like they're trying to scam me or something.
I had to report it as fraud because I don't want to pay for something I didn't use or authorize. It's really frustrating because I used to like Homestead and their website builder. But now I don't trust them anymore. I hope they can resolve this issue and give me my money back. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Website Hosting
I've been a happy customer of yours for almost 10 years but that is changing. I've been lied to by the TECH Department for the last 5 days. I've called for help 5 times and was told each time that my website would be working within 24 hours. It still isn't. I keep getting error message 1001. I'm 80 years old and do not understand what is going on.

Dog breeder - puppies
Hello,
I'm writing to add a complaint about Albina Degtiariov from Little Giant French bulldogs in Roslindale, MA. You may also know her by Irina Deresh, Alexandra Shur or Ira Brook or the company as Homestead or Blue Panther. (Addresses: 1720 Beacon st., Brookline and 27 Harrison st. apt E Roslindale MA)
This woman is manipulative and is a puppy mill breeder. DO NOT GO TO HER OR SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. She's listed on the AKC marketplace, so she seemed ‘legitimate' to me. Please, please, please do your research though! I went to see "Albina" to look at a dog a few years ago. She gave me the address of her work at a dental office (without prior warning, so I really thought I was going to see her apartment where she kept the dogs). So right away, I was a little sketched out. She then brought out two French bulldog puppies. One of them, the male, was significantly older than the other one who was female. The male was quiet and laid in our laps to snuggle while the other one kept trying to eat our shoelaces. We chose the male, but I did try and tell Albina that I didn't have cash or a check as she wanted me to take the puppy right away. She said she was going away that weekend for her sons tennis match in Florida, so I needed to decide now. I ‘panic-bought' the male puppy with a credit card at the dentist office. My puppy is now 3 years old and is healthy and doing well. That being said, he did have a TON of digestive issues prior... he had worms when we brought him home from her place (which we knew immediately from the constant diarrhea) and needed antibiotics, which can generally cause a lot of stomach issues in dogs when antibiotics are taken at such a young age. Anyways, my point is, we really lucked out. We have a great dog, but even after getting him I freaked out the next evening after reading so many stories out there about her other name "Irina Deresh". After reading the stories I did attempt to contact the breeder multiple times to tell her about my dogs digestive issues and to ask for the AKC papers after he was neutered and did not hear a word back from her.
Moral of the story: Please do your research on any breeder you are considering. Make sure you are able to see the puppies living conditions. Make sure you can meet the parents of the puppy. Make sure you get the correct paperwork. And lastly, make sure it's a trusted breeder and that you feel GREAT about leaving there... if you see any red flags, RUN and don't look back.
I purchased a French bulldog from Albina. She sent one photo of my dog but laughed when I asked for more because “they all looked the same”. She told me I needed to pick my puppy up 2 weeks early and she had messed up on the date of delivery. We waited a week then picked her up from the dentists office. My pup didn’t eat (probably because she was too young) and has parasites in her fecal samples. When I asked for Vet records, she told me she administered all the vaccinations herself (is that legal?). My pup does have a 3rd set of eyelashes that needs to be removed but she is the most amazing dog ever. I’m happy I have her but Albina is a SCAM!
I would also like to add tot his page. I purchased a French bulldog from "Albina" 3 years ago. My french bulldog developed eye lashes growing on the inside of his eye which required surgery to remove. I was informed this is genetic and dogs that carry this gene should not be used in breeding. Which clearly isn't the case here. He also just got a slipped disc in his neck which is unfortunately common in French bulldogs, but he is only three years old. I'm extremely disappointed seeing these reviews three years later. How is she still selling and breeding these pups?
I want to add, I was too fooled by her. I went to see her puppies for sale and ended up putting a down payment of $500 on a dog. The dog had worms and was being treated at the time. I don’t think she was even going to tell me this, but we noticed the dog had diarrhea. This made me skeptical but I put the deposit down anyways. I week and a half went by and he was supposedly almost better from the worms. I ended up telling her I did no longer want the dog and she said she would give me the $500 deposit back when the dog sells. Two months went by, I contacted her via email. I asked her if the dog was adopted yet. She took a day to answer me. Let me be clear that, before when I was interested in adopting the dog, she was answering my emails right away. Now that I’m no longer interested, she knows I’m looking for my deposit, she don’t want to answer me. So, she said the dog was being picked up this weekend and I would get my deposit back. That never happened. I will never see my $500 from this lady. She is manipulative and will take your money in a heartbeat. Now I’m out $500 and she will take your money too. Please, don’t be fooled by this lady. Who knows how many people she has done this to. I warn you not to buy any dog from her, period!
You can call the Attorney Generals office in Boston. They will respond quick. You can also call the BBB (Better Business Bureau) they also will investigate. Or you can call the news. One of the channels has a team that investigates people like this. I think it is the I Team?
I also contacted her about 2 females she has. The pictures look older than the 12 weeks she said they were? She is not quick to respond either. I did find a good breeder on Market Place. AKC.org. Her name is Jean Kelly. She is from Dighton, Mass She has puppies, but they are too young right now. You can see the parents and go to her house. If anyone is looking for a safe person to purchase a French Bulldog.
Thank you for your response. I did end up calling the attorney generals office. In the meantime, I did call to try to get my money back and she finally returned it to me. Thank goodness.
Please reply to this post if you're interested in putting together a class action suite against Irina Deresh, the dog breeder. Sounds like her business needs to be shut down.
After reading the complaint it is clear that the person who complained liked the puppy when they bought it and likes the dog now. They are not happy that the AKC papers were not received. The reason for this is not clear as all the puppies are AKC registered and from the AKC parents who were present at the time of purchase. AKC papers are always provided if requested. The rest is either irrelevant or fiction.
The parents were not present at time of purchase. I did request paperwork twice by email and no response was given. I also tried to contact by phone and was blocked. I couldn’t care less really about the papers. My point is that the dog was in squalor conditions and came to us with many digestive issues including worms once we got him. We didn’t do our research and that is on us. This is a warning for other young owners-to-be to do their research and ask the right questions beforehand to not be taken advantage of.
I was never concerned about AKC paperwork. You told me my dog was ready two week before she really was. It was weeks of feeding her milk and watching her suffer from hunger. Multiple vet visits. I love my puppy and would never give her up but what you’re doing is immoral, illegal, and needs to stop.
I'm so glad you posted this. I did the exact same thing. Luckily I googled her name before I agreed to meet the dogs. She currently has two that she offered for me to see in Brookline. This makes me so sad, she has a long history of this. Is there anyone I can report this too? Maybe some way to find where she's getting these puppies?
Bailey, I’m glad you did your research first! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE our little pup, but we consider ourselves extremely ‘lucky’ as he has had his issues, especially from having to be on various antibiotics as a young pup which has destroyed his digestive system according to our vet. I’ve tried to report but can’t seem to find much place so I posted here to at least warn others. I read some posts after we got him from other people who bought frenchies from her and it was absolutely terrifying and heart breaking to read some of their stories. I urge you to try to report or help spread the word though!

Fraudulent emails
This company has been sending me threatening emails indicating that I need to provide my credit card information or my website will be taken down. I don't have a website hosted with them. I never gave them my email address. I have read other complaints on this site and it appears that some people may have responded to these fraudulent emails and now they have fraudulent charges. What can be done to stop this obviously fraudulent activity?
My complaint is highlighted on my home page at www.fennetec.com. The site is controlled by Homestead so I do not know how long they will leave it there but as far as I am concerned they will leave it while I pay to warn others.

Poor Customer Service
This company appears to be part of the Inuit corporate family. It is not. However, Inuit continues to give the impression that website design services are being provided by Intuit. They are not but are being provided by Homestead.
Customer Service at Homestead is non-exitent. Communications with customers are very bad and it takes for ever to get anything done.
If you are looking to do a website for a reasonable price look at others or go to an independent website desiger.

took my money but never delivered the product
I am a small press game publisher and was looking for some modern 28mm vehicles to use in a game I am developing. I came across Hobby Armor Depot and thought I'd found a gold mine of possibilities. I contacted them on May 19th via email -- they do not have an online shopping cart because, I imagine, it is a one-man small business -- and, after a bit of back and forth, placed an order for over $160 USD via Paypal. Joe Conego, my contact with the company, assured me the order would be shipped by the following Wednesday, at which point I would be emailed a tracking number. I made it clear the order was for professional reasons--I needed to assemble and paint the vehicles ASAP to prepare them for a photo session to appear in my publication. Paypal indicated the money was withdrawn from my company's account that day, May 19.
The Wednesday came and went, and no word from Joe.
Considering the importance of a timely delivery I had made clear to Joe, I sent emails asking about the status of my order on May 23rd, May 25th, and May 29th. Sill no word from Joe. Not even an "It has been delayed. Sorry about that." I sent a dispute notice to Paypal on June 1 hoping this would push Joe to respond and send me my product, which I still hoped to get. He had not responded to the claim as of June 7, so I upgraded the dispute notification to a claim to get my money back. The claim was closed in my favor on July 18 without Joe having responded to it or me via private email. My money was returned, but still no word from Joe to so much as apologize for the hassle.
Looking around messageboards and the like, I've since learned Hobby Armor Depot has a reputation for similar dishonest dealings, including infringing on other people's copyrights by making molds of their models and selling them as his own. I am certainly glad I did not give money to someone so that he could deny it to the rightful copyright owners. Don't get fooled by this guy. His product line may look great and offer things you cannot find elsewhere, but what good is that if he has a reputation for taking people's money and not sending them the product -- years after the order is made, as it turns out in some cases.
For taking money without providing the promised product and a total lack of customer service, I can only define this company as a scam looking to take advantage of miniature wargame players. Avoid, no matter how tempting the models may seem.

Failure to Deliver Priority Package
Tracking # [protected] mailed 01/31/12 at Homestead, Florida. Package arrived at St Johns post Office, 1234 St Johns Place, Brooklyn, NY 11213 at 4:03 AM February 02, 2012. Address of delivery Silvine Moore, 1213 St Johns Place, Brooklyn, NY 11213., just opposite the post office. Package was not delivered on 02/02/12 the expected delivery date, and no notice was left. I called my sister on 02/03/12 and gave her the tracking #, she went across to the post office at 3:00 PM on 02/03/12 and was told that she has to wait until the truck come in. She also returned to the Post office at 4:00 pm on 02/03/12 and was told that the package was not at the post office and they are not interested in the tracking number. This is the fourth package in three months I sent to my sister via priority mail that she had to go across to the post office days after to inquire about the package, The package I mailed on 01/31/12 contained perishable medication and other perishable items. The employee at St Johns Post Office that spoke to my sister today was very rude. Please check into this matter, Thank you.
They started charging my credit card $24.99/mo for nothing
My friend wanted me to check out Intuit web site builder. They were advertising $9.99 a month but when I checked it out there was no $9.99. The charge was $24.99/mo. That's when I logged off and called my friend.
I'm assuming I put my credit card information in before the price changed from $9.99 to $24.99. They started charging my credit card $24.99/mo for nothing.
I just saw a charge for 19.99 on my online statement. I dont know who Homestead Technologies is but I DID NOT authorize this. Filing a fraud claim with my bank.
Yes. Yet no only that but Homestead charged me $5.+ even after I called the same day, deciding against using their services. When I contacted them by e-mail, I received no response.
So this is what I did:
1. I logged into Homestead Technologies
2. I searched for an option in my account to cancel services (which I used)
3. Now I'm going to report this to Fraud Avengers, BBB, FTC, etc ... ...
Thanks Complaints Board. We're going to list your site one of our community webpages among others who are also very pro-consumer. Time to get tough!
Never received any communication or confirmation from Homestead that I was enrolled
Reviewed the website, checked out templates, drafted a few ideas, didn't like the possibility. They offered a 30 day free trial, never went back or published a website. Never received any communication or confirmation from Homestead that I was enrolled. After auditing the company bank statements have found 7 months of charges at $19.99 each. Didn't have any contact information or cancellation policy to review. Needless to say, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CHARGE CARD #! I use Intuit software in my business and have always been given confirmation and adequate contact information. BUYER BEWARE... SCAM.
I never used any of their service but am still out $60
I checked out this service but never used it. In order to evaluate the service I had to provide my credit card number. Although I never started using the service they continued to bill me. After I was finally capable to contact them to cancel my account they refunded me only one month of service, although they had billed me for 4 months of service. I never used ANY of their service but am still out $60. Terrible business practice.
Bulldog Puppies
This is my second complaint about Millbrook Kennels. BUYER BEWARE ! Their website was down for a while but it's back up again so I had to post another comment. I purchased a bulldog from Millbrook Kennels and in 2008 and in 2009 my beloved "Bubba" died. He starting having seizures on a Thursday. We took him to the hospital that night, and were supposed to take him to a neurologist on Monday and he passed at the hospital Sunday night. He never regained consciousness. We had him for 14 months. In that time he spend at least every other month at the vet or in the hospital. I don't have enough space to write down all the medical problems he had. I still have his vet and hospital file which is in excess of $10, 000.00. Cronic Pneumonia, Breathing Treatments (Yes I have central air in the home), internal bleeding, infections, severe allergies... and on and on. Olga and her bad breeding left my family HEART BROKEN ! We loved Bubba like our own kids and he didn't deserve to go through such a painful short life. We loved him soooo much and miss him terribly. Millbrook Kennels just wants your money. I write this so other first time bulldog owners don't have to go through what my family did. This time I went through the BCA.org website and asked for a reputable breeder in my area. MAKE SURE YOU MEET THE PARENTS ! A good breeder will also give you their Vet's name, current owners contact info, and their blood lines. Millbrook Kennels gave me none of that. Olga didn't have the mother their and that should have been my first tip-off. I have been told the dogs may have been in-breed and also that she gets her dogs from Vermont and also imports them from other countries. Don't be afraid to ask a breeder questions. A reputable one will have nothing to hide and will be happy to answer them all !

Fraud and scam
In other to access the service of Homestead one need to provide a credit card details. I did just that but when I tried to unsubscribe it become a hell of time. They have set up a system in such a way that the auto respond will tell you an email has been sent to your email address which never comes no matter how long you wait for it. Finally telephone call seems to be like trying to extract blood from stone. Master fraudsters are at work here. They have billed me one month as at now and I don’t know what to do next.
Please everyone should keep away from this HOMESTEAD!
my website was disabled and i have been denied the access to update my credit card information
sadly Google refers them when woman want to build a business page here in New York!
It also happened to me! DO NOT USE THEM!
I too had the same thing happen to me! DO NOT USE THEM!
I had the same experience of signing up for their supposedly free trial which I never proceded with. Nonetheless they are debiting my credit card, ignoring emails requesting cancellation. Basically they provide you with no option by which to cancel. You cannot cancel your account through their site and their site has no "contact" option. I have reported them as fraudulent to my bank and complained to the Federal Trade Commission. The bank that is facilitating Homestead's fraud also needs to be held to account.
Billed me for no service
I checked out this service but never used it. In order to evaluate the service I had to provide my credit card number. Although I never started using the service they continued to bill me. After I was finally able to contact them to cancel my account they refunded me only one month of service, althogh they had billed me for 4 months of service. I never used ANY of their service but am still out $60. Bad busness practice.

Bad business partner
Homestead is owned by Intuit, providers of Quicken, Quick books, Quicken loans, Turbo Tax and Homestead web hosting services. I have been advised my web site has been suspended. Intuit no longer supports any one who manufacturers, distributes or sells firearms. Worse yet they have been uncooperative in allowing me to transfer my domain names to another hosting service.
