Honey Baked Ham fails to tell customers that once you place an order you cannot change the shipping. I placed an order on 12/6 and on 12/8 I tried to change the shipping. HBH said the order is closed and the only way to change the shipping address is to have a UPS My Choice account and intercept the order and change the address. This is a lie. UPS will not allow you to change an order that you did not ship. Only HBH can do this. Because of that I paid almost $20 to upgrade my UPS account only to find out HBH had lied. I could not do anything to that order. I even called UPS and they confirmed HBH can go into their account and make the change. My follow up cal to HBH which included a supervisor was a waste of time. They refuse to even try and state that Corporate has instructed them they cannot make changes.
They went further to state they would send it where I instructed originally and that was my fault.
To tell a customer in this day and age that your are not willing to take 5 mintures and reroute a package via your UPS account just shows they don't care about customer service.
Claimed loss: $173 product & $20 UPS account upgrade
Desired outcome: I want my product rerouted to my home address and I want to be reimbursed for being told I could change shipments if I just upgrade my UPS account
