My daughter and I purchased this Hoover and we are very disappointed the suction on these Hoover is absolute rubbish as you are a company that have been around for a lot of years with usually good reputation that is why we purchased them, this information is so that you really need to look at how you have made them in comparison Dodson which my friend has there is no comparison.

I purchased this vacuum cleaner in November 2017 and just had to replace the power drive. It was still under warranty but I did have to pay for the belts which really irks me. Why would belts go bad in such a short time especially when the vacuum cleaner is not used that often. Why would this happen in only three months. Is this a problem in this model? I had a Hoover for 25 years and never had one problem with it so I am very disappointed.
Also there are few repair centers in my area so I had to drive 26 miles to get it repaired.

We purchased one of your washing machines from Currys on 17th June 2016. We chose this machine, as at the time, we believed Hoover to be a reliable make. However, for the past 2 months the machine has been getting louder and louder when in a washing cycle, to the point it now sounds like a jet engine in my kitchen. The bearings have clearly gone!
We didn't take an extended warranty as one would expect a washing machine to last longer than one and a half years! We are a family of 4 and on average do 4 loads a week, so has not been overused. We have spoken to Currys today who agrees with us that a machine should last at least 3 years, and they have suggested we contact Hoover directly. We can no longer use the machine or have it repaired as it is in a sealed unit and the cost of the drum would cost more than a machine. We therefore have no choice but to purchase a new machine.
I would appreciate your comments on this asap please.

I sure appreciate reading your concerns.
You're absolutely correct in that most appliances will outlast that of 18 months. Manufacturers' warranties are calculated based upon averages and the cost of service is than tabulated within the production costs. When a consumer decides they prefer a guarantee longer than that of what is standard, the cost is added on.
You mast wish to replace the broken washer with that of the same model, knowing the features are what you need and what you are comfortable with. Just consider shopping those extended warranties. A little up front can help tremendously later.
vacuum cleaner
I purchased a FD22G vacuum cleaner in December 2016 and now it has stopped working after 15 months (just after the warranty had expired). As it didn't pick up very well I had to buy a cheaper hoover that actually picked up so didn't use it that often. After contacting customer services I was told me that I could purchase parts to fix it - why should I purchase parts for an appliance that cost over £200 and is only 15 months old and hardly used!
Going to buy a Dyson I think with a 5 year Warranty and better customer service
cordless pets vacuum cleaner
I recently purchased one of the above cleaners and feel I have to write and let you know how disappointed I was with this product.
I went to every single household that lives in the same avenue as I do and asked each one to try this product and if they want it, they can have it for FREE. I am not surprised but NOT one person would have it. The feedback was horrendous so I know it's not just me. One even brough out a cleaner they have purchased from Argos for £59 and it knocked spots of the Hoover product. The fact that no-one would take free of charge a product only one week old says it all!
It does not pick up properly at all and I end up using a brush and pan to clean the area properly. I tried very hard to find it a new home but no-one would take it... for FREE and I paid nearly £200 from Curry's. I just couldn't ask for anything for it because I truly believe it is not worth anything. So its on route to the skip!
I assume you know before I comment... that I will NEVER buy another Hoover product because if you can charge this kind of money for this very poor quality, 'not fit for purpose' product, Hoover is not a retailer that is good enough for me and I would be afraid of purchasing anything that bears the HOOVER name.

I have already emailed my complaint but have not received a reply I contacted you about my Hoover/Candy fridge freezer which broke down after just 15 weeks I lost £60 pounds worth of defrosted food and other cold compartment food stuff I contacted customer service expecting an engineer to call quite quickly but I was told the earliest would be in two weeks I found this unacceptable as I had nowhere to keep fresh food milk etcetera there was no alternative but to wait however when the engineer called he said I would have to wait a further week as they did not keep the part needed and would have to order it from Italy after three weeks it was repaired I made a complaint to Hoover/Candy but did not receive a reply I contacted customer complaint.org who made the complaint on my behalf three times and still no reply they advised I contacted chief executive David Meyerowitz which I did twice and still no reply I am disgusted that no one has had the courtesy to reply not even an apology that is the reason I contacted you but as I first stated I have not received a reply this matter first started on 4/09/2017 and I am disappointed that it has not been resolved. Had yr Hoover for about 9 month now battery life is fine the hover is ok but it has no suction power at all. Never had it from the day we got it. It picks up very little off our floors n we have been using our only Hoover for t past 3 months...I no the freedom has less suction thenother stand up hoovers but even on our wood floors it's just dose not work..just like a bit advice pls..my friend has 1 t same and she says the same as us.

I am and have always been a loyal purchaser of Hoover products. I never had any problems with any of the merchandise I have had over many years..until now. I purchased the above referenced vacuum in January at a Kohl's store in my city. I live alone and have one pet. I religiously clean the filter and innerds every other time it is used. Last week during a normal vacuum, the thing just died..stopped working. I thought it was the outlet. It was not. I took it apart to make sure nothing was stuck or trapped inside..nothing..clean filter.
Is there a warranty on my vacuum. It's not even a year old. I would appreciate your response letting me know if there is anything you can do.
Being a senior citizen on a very limited budget it is going to be almost impossible to replace. I spent more than I could afford..but having had Hoover products in the past, I knew it would last a long time.

Hi, I have purchased a hoover washer dryer and twice already I have had to call out the service team to fix the item die to problems. This time around I was told Friday it would be fixed only to be let down and told another 4 days. My partner is home with my child and she is also pregnant and it is causing unnecessary stress. The washer dryer is very very poorly made and I would appreciate it if you could look into the matter and even replace it with a more reliable one.

hoover vacuum
Bought a heavy duty vacuum less than two months ago. I've used it all of five times and it caught on fire. There were no clogs. I have a small house and no pets, so it's not like it was being overused. I hadn't even filled the canister enough to dump it out. Unfortunately, I lost my proof of purchase, so I have to eat the $150 cost of this brand new vacuum. If you buy a Hoover, put your receipt somewhere safe. There's a good chance you will need to use your warranty within the first few months. . .
hoover dual carpet cleaner
I brought the carpet cleaner from Godfreys in NZ last year, to find that the belt broke after 2 small areas of washing, contacted them 6 times before being advised to purchase a new belt which we did to find after washing a very small area it broke again.
Godfreys customer service is disgusting and unwilling to help as I assume because we did not put purchase extra product insurance.
Firstly it was under a year old to be told to pay for a new belt to have it break again, their must be a serious flood with this model [protected] serial number [protected] I have no replys from my 2 emails to NZ so called Hoover office .
Hoover NZ is a complete joke.
Godfrey customer service is disgusting i expect they are either importing fake Hoover machines from china as I have had Hoover in the past with no problems.

The rubber seal strip fell off the dirty water tank on my second time using this machine. Tank will not suck up dirty water from carpet without it.
I was told by customer rep. That I would have to purchase a new dirty water tank for $25.00 and wait 7-10 days for delivery.
This part not covered under warranty and I purchased this from Amazon in
March 2017.

I bought a washing mashine last June and it developed a fault...when I called the 1time they arranged for an engineer to come and fix it...He came and within 5 minutes he advised it fixed...I tried to do the washing straightaway but it did not work...I checked and I saw the engineer still in the drive way...I called him but he pretended not hearing me and drove off...I called the 2 time and they arranged the engineer to come again...He came 2 hours late then have been advised...this time he said he knows what wrong and that it need new parts and he does have them in the broken down van and he advised to come again the following day between 14:00 and 16:00...He did not turn up at all and he did not apdated me with any kind of information.
I called the next time and they arranged for another engineer the 5/12/16...He come and advised that the problem is the door...and advised it fixed for good and left...when I tried to do the washing again it did not work at all...
I called last Friday again and arranged for the engineer to come the 5th time...he come today 13/12/16 with new parts and replaced them and advised it working...I did put on straight away to test it but after less than 2minutes it did stop working, I did notified the engineer who was still in driveway but he advised me to call the after sale team again...
As per your poor customer service I haven't been able to do the washing for about a month; I spent a lot of money to do my washing in the laundry shop...
This situation caused me a lot of stress and hassle and I spent a lot of time to sort this issue out...
This is the first that I bought a Hoover product and it will be definitely the last time and I will also leave a serious negative feedback through your website.
I wish you will rise this serious matter to your managers to be looked at.

my mother in law recently purchased a fridge freezer Hoover model. this arrived last friday 2 days later than promised(curries did compensate for the later delivery. however after plugging this in and leaving for the appropriate time, she then went shopping for fridge and freezer items, she wanted to stock up for xmas for the freezer, as she is getting on in age now 82 her son took her shopping all in told she spent just over 200.00 so she wouldnt have to do a shop out of her pension and could leave freezer items then being able to buy presents for her family. to her dismay this stopped working on sat/sunday of this week ruining all the freezer stock. she prompty got in toucj with curries pc world, who i have to say were very good and rang hoover about a replacement, fine got that sorted, but she could not claim anything towards the food from currys who suggested she get in touch with hoover, upon explaing all this to hoover, we were prompty told nothing we can do how do we know she did not put the wrong items in the freezer... surley items to be frozen goes into a freezer, we asked could they not send a food voucher as a gesture of good will to an oap, to recuperate their error for sending faulty goods out which are tried and tested by their qc department. the gentleman said no we cannot do anything about that. how sad is it that a big concern like Hoover, cannot go some way to help what has become a disaster through no fault of ours. i think it is appaling that a big concern cannot help someone out, whereas i am sure if this had been a small businees they are more caring, i will look into this further and see if anything else can be don.

I've had trouble with a broken cord holder (lower) which was replaced, now the upper cord holder broke. so I sent an e-mail explaining the situation to Julie matejka. as a matter I've sent three in the last week. no matter what, at the very least I deserve an answer! this sweeper is less than two years old. what ever happened to my mom's old hoover that is still going strong after 20+ years? good, bad, or indifferent I expect an answer.

Faulty washing machine
Complete and total rip-off.
I purchased a GC4 washing machine not 18 months ago that has now stopped working - Error code E01 and every now and again E07, which are just generic errors. One of the main selling points of this product, was that it had a 5 year parts guarantee, but I tell you, there is some small print - The guarantee is only applicable if you are willing to pay for THEIR engineer to install them - £129 call-out charge. ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTYNINE pounds just for their engineer to knock the door, then labour costs after that.
18 month old, poorly made, washing machine and these rip-off, con artists are trying to milk every penny even further from a customer and when calling to find out the above news, it became very apparent that the representative had no clue of the component parts of the device, just a trained sales monkey trying to get more money.
The issue:
-the suppressor has gone faulty which was two steps away from starting a fire. No joke. First, it blew all sockets in my kitchen and when I looked inside, the metal brackets surrounding the wires - and the wires themselves - had literally melted and the plastics scorched. Sparks and fizzles were flying when I turned the machine on.
-I don't know if it's related, probably is, but the PCB board is also faulty.
So let's recap 1) their product has an 18 month self life 2) their guarantees are a con and mean nothing 3) they are ridiculously overpriced 4) their product is dangerous
Will not be associating myself with this sorry excuse of a company ever again. Very disappointed.
Blaze hoover
Possibly the worst customer service and product I've ever come across.
We recently moved into our first home (newly decorated carpets, furnishings etc) and decided to try out the Blaze Hoover.
I read the manual, as I like to know what i'm dealing with, and gave it a go. Over a few weeks I started to notice little patches on my carpet that looked like they'd been glued together. I went to hoover my stairway carpet one day and the hoover burnt right into it...thousands of pounds worth of new carpet damaged.
I got in touch with customer services who arranged to have an engineer out. First time - didn't turn up. Rang up and they said they had it down as another day. 2nd attempt (and another day taken off at work) - didn't show up. Rang to get the same excuse. This happened again until, finally, they managed to get the correct day. The engineer said there was no fault with the hoover and I must have been using the wrong setting. Apparently, when hoovering stair with a attachments, it has to be on a certain setting. This isn't something laid out in the manual. It does not say 'use this setting or it will set fire to your carpet'. It does not mention that one of its many features is Flamethrower. Even so, i had been using the correct settings. I told Hoover this via phone when they said they wouldn't be compensating. They maintained that it is my fault and the fact that their products set fire to carpets is not seen as a fault of their product at all.
Human error apparently.
I don't even have the words. I will be following this up with trading standards

Wow worst interview experience
Turned up in bolton for interview, wasnt asked to bring anything in, no email confirmation or anything, then got cut off rudely when i called back for further info, stay well away the person who sat with me was rude further felt picked on by asking me wasnt i.d bought or application filled in when i explained email was given to me incorrectly and i wasnt told to bring anything in, if this is how they treat agents i cant imagine how they would train to treat customers, even if im offered the job i would steer clear well away, unprofessional and very rude, worst experience i have ever had. I am sure someone will have had similar experience? I was busy with the intial call so asked if i could call back after 4pm so the agent that phoned me replied no i cant i have plenty of application to go through and cut me off, i decided to call back and give them a chance, and she replied well email it, didnt give me a chance to write it down either and once again cut off, Hope the calls gets listened into.
Product not fit for purpose
I brought a cordless vacuum cleaner from the Hoover site online, on the 23/ 3/2016. I charged it for 16 hours but it stopped working after a 15 min vacuum It would never work for any longer than this and by the third week it stopped working. After a really distressing phone call to ask for assistance it became clear that even registering my purchase on line, I had send proof of purchase by post. The phone operator was rude and unhelpful, so I sent the proof of purchase and enclosed a letter complaining about my treatment . I finally had a engineer call on the 22/4/2016, who said it was the motor and the switch, I told him I did not want a repair but it replaced .
I waited and no response from Hoover so I contacted the centre an and I am still awaiting for my replacement . I want a apology and some compensation for being without a Hoover for so long.
